The Godkiller AU, where Eclipse is a lesser god created by Afton to kill and take the halos from smaller, weaker gods. Y/N is a new, lesser god, the god of small miracles- who later learns they have the power to make halos. In other words, they can create gods by blessing beings with a halo of their own.

Afton, threatened by this, orders Eclipse to get rid of Y/N. Eclipse can’t. He cannot bring himself to kill Y/N, so he disobeys his creator. Afton, enraged, takes the crown that gives Eclipse life, and plans to kill Y/N himself.

Y/N, though weak and struggling, uses the last of their strength to create a new god-

Eclipse, god of felling the unkillable. Godkiller.

And Eclipse, with his newfound life, makes a decision that is all his own, and kills a god.

monster being deeply and wholly in love with human handler who is wary of them bc monster is potentially very dangerous and has hurt ppl before trope my beloved. even better when monster KNOWS human is at least slightly afraid of them but doesn't feel betrayed/heartbroken and instead is even more devoted to showing their beloved how much they cherish and adore them and slowly proving that you and you alone will always always always be safe in their claws, the same claws meant to rip bodies to bloody ribbons and rend limbs from their sockets with the ease of snapping a dry twig, now cradling you ever so sweetly,, peak. absolute best of all time

au context is y/n is a 'fallen' god (aka a god that lost the faith of their followers and thus lost their godly traits and is now basically Just a Guy/mortal) and Sun and Moon are gods pretending to be mortal priests at their own temple.

Hi! I saw your homeless gecko post and was looking at the picture, I think it's a common house gecko? And based on the description it seems to act like one too with the skittish nature since there's a bunch where I live. I don't mean to sound like I'm fact checking, just want to make sure the little guy is happy and getting the right care

ok so turns out ur absolutely correct. the gecko i found was in fact an adult (Mediterranean?) House Gecko, and i just abducted a fully grown man thinking he was a helpless infant

I did some research, and he's not considered invasive to my area (even if not native), so after one last look over (seemed fine, did eat a couple mealworms and has had plenty of water in the meantime) he has officially been released!

uh. well. y'know how most people find a stray dog, or maybe a stray cat

the universe gave me. a homeless lizard

im fairly certain this is a baby leopard gecko. as in, an animal that is super not native to where i live. i dont know how someone manages to lose a whole ass infant lizard, but here we are. i found him hanging onto the side of the building when i took my dog out the other night. (his tail popped off when i was trying to pick him up, yes i did apologize profusely, yes it should grow back)

the good news is that i used to own a leopard gecko (who passed away at least a year ago by now) and still had all of his things, so right now this little rando is sitting in a freshly cleaned tank with brand new sand and a fresh lightbulb and plenty of water. ((also yes that is a poop next to his head. yes i did clean it up))

my old leopard gecko was named Socrates. to carry on the tradition, I'm thinking of naming this guy after another philosopher, or maybe a famous writer. right now the leading names are, Plato Aristotle Aesop Edgar Allen Poe Karl (after Karl Marx LMAO)
