The Wild Robot is everything I love about animation, period.

A simple story about technology and nature coming together, while telling an insanely heartfelt story of parenthood, when least expected born from tragedy.

The Wild Robot is nothing short among some of Dreamworks’ best quality. Lightning in a bottle captured here with any effective elements one could possibly imagine.

Roz & Brightbill’s chemistry slaughtered my emotions a good several times, making me shed tears.

Don’t miss out on seeing it in theaters! Animation of this caliber should be seen on the biggest screen possible.

i LOVE the recurring theme of luffy entrusting his straw hat to nami, it's such a beautiful action that shows how much he cares and trusts her, and it all started from orange town where Nami was the one to understand how important the hat is to him and offered to fix it for him

I finally watched Interior Chinatown (i binged the whole thing in a day). Holy shit that show. It is one of the best shows I have seen in a long time. It was funny and emotional and satirical and everything that a show should be. I can't explain just how much that show affected me, but I can honestly say I don't think there will ever be another show that will make me feel so heavy and giddy like this. I need whatever they put in this show injected into my fucking veins.

Using a cop show as the backdrop and kind of framework for what is actually something about a "side character" is fucking genius. The restarting of scenes when Willis isn't confident in his choices yet and just accepts being in the background turning into glitches once he finally decides to do whatever he needs to do and not give up are just *chefs kiss. The distance that grows between him and his family as he devotes all his time to his investigation without asking for help or telling anyone anything feels way too real and it's perfect. Turner slowly starting to realize something is up and having more existential crises is so well paced and feels so real. Green barely noticing anything other than her partner being odd because she has blinders on and doesn't care about anything but the job she loves and then finally just wanting to do the right thing instead of just keeping her dream job feels so rewarding. I cannot express how magically real this show feels. I love it.

Absolutely 10/10 will be recommending to everyone I know. This is one of those things I will forever wish I could experience for the first time again.

I’m gonna be so for real right now I really genuinely think my favorite brand of “ship” has always been & will always be the kind that’s always building & never stops because it’s not like they could ever be endgame but it’s also not like they could ever stop caring. Like. I can think of many tv shows even just off the top of my head that lost any & all appeal once my otp got together. Like the best relationships in fiction are always gonna be in a constant state of friendship slash “hey was that romantic?” slash drama or discord & conflict slash “platonic love isn’t a downgrade” slash “buuuuuut…. Still. maybe just maybe it is romantic after all” slash “if they ever actually become a couple & get happy & stable I’ll be immediately bored I don’t even exactly want that also it’s so unrealistic & would never happen” like. Give me that insanity before giving me a stable romance any day of the week babey

really also wendy's "good ending" centering around a beautiful (presumably terrible as usual) Family(tm) Meal is sure like, an expression of that idea that it's beautiful & not terrible of Superiors to just pay any kind of attention to their Inferiors....wendy gets to have family dinner As Deserved because these are Her Kids who have gotta show up when she feels like it's family dinner time, not even a question that they wouldn't. and despite that, even as the "good" parent of the two, wendy's attention to her children is of the "minimal maintenance / occasional Exceptional demand" kind, it sure Is that "good" that wendy chooses to do any of that ever, or to be like okay we're having this family meal now with me because i want that. like it was Good that chuck sr. wants to do whatever he does to his son because, right there, that's His Kid, so. family as a hierarchy is definitely beautiful, why not psuedo marriages like when some epic guy with true claims to being a Real Man is like yeah sure i guess i want to have this woman, therein lies perhaps some beautiful redemption for that man if this woman is magnanimous & not like too inadequate or selfish as to not motivate him to Better himself, or not Try to do so. wendy sure won't break with axe fully ever no matter what, which would've been selfish of her (had to be a reason she didn't go to superhell with him that Didn't damage his ego, as is apparently always the case in turning down any winner around here. Taken For Granted you will of course grant them access to whatever they want, like dragging you along on their banishment when like, has this guy talked to his ex wife about his kids before doing this? who knows. or that one kid he projected on? well that doesn't count, nice of you to do the Performance of being unconditional support man, but no problem if you forget he exists. that's not Your Kid in any way that's supposed to play into your power like Your Family (ft. kids you own))
