I think it would really benefit people to internalize that mental illnesses are often chronic and not acute. Some of us will never be able to jump the hurdle of managing illness, much less sustaining a sense of normalcy. Many of us will never "recover," will never manage symptoms, will never even come close to appearing normal - and this is for any condition, even the ones labeled as "simple" disorders or "easy-to-manage" disorders.

It isn't a failure if you cannot manage your symptoms. It isn't a moral failure, and you aren't an awful person. You are human. There's only so much you can do before recognizing that you cannot lift the world. Give yourself the space to be ill because, functionally, you are.

I cried when Jim stopped being a troll; when he was stripped of everything (literally!) and "rewarded" with a bunch of mental trauma (guilt, pangs of conscience, PTSD, etc.); without giving the viewer any good positive alternative.

And I cried again when I saw what they did to the ending of the franchise. It's monstrous. It's fucking unforgivable and it cheapens everything we've been through... so I just hope that when the wheel of this fucking sensara starts to turn back, my boy will finally become a troll (let's say the heroes will need such an advantage for the plot, and Jim will volunteer or something). And he finally gets some cool armor, even though he doesn't have the amulet anymore! His friends got weapons and gear anyway, so what's stopping Jim from getting it?

It reminds me a bit of that wonderful film The Last Samurai, actually. That nobility, that courage, that absolute clarity and spiritual purity that those fighters have, I think she had definitely come to that place by the end.

The choice to go, that second return to plunge in with Vhagar — that’s an absolute kamikaze mission. To me, that was when she felt very samurai. It was that last stand of the noble warrior. She could have just about escaped, and they could have maybe left everybody to deal with it. But she turns because she knows that’s what she has to do, morally and spiritually.

A bold, tough, and brilliant samurai woman, a mother, the epitome of feminine grace, leadership, strength, wisdom, courage, and temperance. Tough as a rock.

In Season 1 she was wearing quite a lot of frocks and it was only right at the end that she changed into her dragon-riding costume. And if she looks like an ass kicker, then I’m happy with that.

She's the equivalent of Rhaenyra's Lancelot. She's their best knight. And it's the honorable, warrior choice.

But as the series progresses, we see her transformation into a fearless warrior who is willing to do whatever it takes to protect her loved ones and claim what is rightfully theirs.

She truly believes that the end justifies the means, even if it means sacrificing her own humanity in the process.

I said to [showrunner] Ryan [Condal] at the end of last season, I really want Rhaenys to go samurai in the second season. She was in frocks and everybody was in their beautiful clothes all the time. I was just like, I want her to go full warrior.

She’s a soldier. Within that moment in [season one] episode nine, the moment she broke through ‘the glass ceiling,’ she identified herself as a warrior.

You are doing your best, and that is all anyone can ask of you, including yourself. You are doing enough, even when it doesn't feel like you are. Some days are just about making it to the next one, and that counts, too. Give yourself permission to rest, without guilt or shame. And remember, rest is part of the process, not a reward for success. Honor your progress, and celebrate your little wins, not just the big ones. Give yourself credit where it's due. Resting is not the same as quitting. Your best might not look like someone else's best, or even like your best did yesterday (or even just five minutes ago), and that's okay. Sometimes, you'll have to reimagine what "success" means, and that's okay.

How do u think hersey and Mac think about eachother?

Macaque doesn't like Hershey. The Mayor excuses it as irrational jealousy and yeah that's part of it. But I think it's more or less to do with the fact that Hershey is the embodiment of the contradicting life the Mayor exists in. She is the most blatant example of "the exception" to the Mayor's logic when they believe (or believed, depending where in the BAV timeline). In a way, Macaque finds it funny and acknowledges that Hershey's existence is technically a good thing, but he also doesn't like just how much more complex that makes the Mayor and how awful it is that he genuinely can't think of them as a two dimensional arsehole anymore. Hershey ruins his perspective. Then again he also doesn't like how Hershey takes priority when getting bed space, and he doesn't like how Hershey gets more pats and hugs and nuzzles from the Mayor than he does (but little does he know that it's completely his fault, because he in his simultaneous longing for and fear of intimacy has him wanting to be a clingy mf but he at the same time as soon as he gets cuddles he feels and succumbs to the urge to hiss and pull away if he isn't the one to initiate it).

Hershey likes this new furry creature that sometimes comes to her uncle's house. He's a bit mean because he'll just grab her by the sides and put her out of the kitchen sometimes, and sometimes he doesn't understand when she wants to jump into his lap when he's sitting on the couch. But her uncle seems to like him a lot and that must be the reason why he keeps showing up. She likes the programs he watches on the TV much more than the train documentaries her uncle likes to watch. The stuff the furry creature watches have more explosions and cars and more humans in them which is very cool. She also likes how sometimes the furry creature will join her on her walks outside of the house and she likes how he makes her Uncle smile and laugh. What she doesn't like though is how much black fur is left all over the place and it makes her uncle quite grumpy, which doesn't make sense because she also sheds lots of white fur but maybe the black fur just looks worse on the white bed sheets.
