Hello. I haven't posted in a while bc my priorities have been elsewhere but today it's two weeks until my exams... I'm doing alright though. I've been studying this shit for five years now. I can do this.

Many study bloggers and alpha mentality students wake up at ungodly hours to study, workout or meditate and get ready for 😤🤘the grind🤘😤

I also wake up at an ungodly hour. 5 am to be precise and I wish I could tell you that I am in any way productive in the morning but the only reason im awake at that time is so I can scroll on my phone in my warm blankets while drinking coffee for an hour to slowly wake up and have some time for myself🦧

I love my internship I’ve already learned so much there and I was able to experience so many interesting things but by the time im home from work I barely make it until 9pm before I go to sleep absolutely exhausted. The second I get home im cooking food, I clean the house a bit and try to do something relaxing but mostly I just try to stay awake for a bit so I can fall asleep at a reasonable hour💀 waking up at 5am instead of 6am gives me one hour just for myself and my needs and it’s my favourite part of the day

the second round of retake exams starts tomorrow. i'm anxious to the bone and i'm not. there's a mandatory internship in the faculty's legal clinic this semester though, excited to at least showcase some practical skills.

no idea what's going on with my job, but i'm trying to work, see how it'll work out.

it was, in fact, not late to get in touch with some classmates that look like fun. we've been going out and around.

i visibly have everything i'd practically prayed for a couple of months ago, yet it's even more chaotic. i'd rather have the chaos.

hi studyblr! i've been lurking on studyblr for a year or two but i finally decided that with my increasing courseload and my struggle to keep myself accountable, i should make my own account, so here i am!

i go by lizhi, 荔枝 or lychee, any pronouns, mixed race (chinese, irish & german) american living in california. i'm graduating high school in 2025 and as of updating (july 2024), i'm a rising senior. i plan to major in psychology and either continue to pursue it for a master's degree or go into law school!

i’m currently wrapping up my second year of my undergraduate degree in history, specialising in law and history ! i’m also doing a minor in indigenous studies

i speak english and french and enjoy learning bits and pieces of different languages for fun. i can hold a conversation in spanish and italian, say ‘i’m so tired i could die’ in mandarin and hope to pick up bits of german, arabic and croatian in the future.

Introductory Post

Hi everyone!

I assume this is the right way to start a Studyblr, so I will introduce myself :)

My name is Irina - the slavic version of the names Irene and Erin that are medium-rare known in the west world. I’m a 23 y.o. uni-student at the beginning of my Master-adventure, namely, I was enrolled in the study program in April 2021.

Basics about me:

- I’m studying International Development for Master’s - I had my Bachelor degree in Art History but would never do it for Master’s - strated the second Bachelor degree in Chemical & Process Engineering one year ago but had to temporary drop it bacause I have to work for living

my second semester is starting from 8th, so currently I'm✨ chillin ✨ (aka sleeping all day)

i recently thrifted a cute shirt hehe.

I'm also learning German rn, as we have a language elective in 2nd year. I tried to learn French but German seems wayyyy easier. German isn't "harsh" at all lmao, it's such a cute language, they have words for everything. adorable, 10/10.

It looks like this is my instruction post to the #studyblrcommunity ...

As you may have read in my bio, I‘m 23 y/o, working fulltime as a legal secretary (head of the office) in a medium-sized law firm and started to study law in parttime.

~ So, I‘m basically Rachel Zane in real life ~

And yes, it‘s quite tough and sometimes very difficult, but it is definitely possible!

Also I‘m from Germany, but trying to improve my english and just wanted to reach out to more people than “just” the german studycommunity. So please be patient with my english I’m really trying my best!

During my apprenticeship I discovered my love for “the law“ and the fire kept on burning during the last three years while I redid my A-Levels (which you need to study law at a german university) and started to work again in the law firm, where everything started. This year in April I started to study law at the university and the first semester was one of the difficult times, like ever. We had so much work to do in the law firm and also I‘ve became head of the office. So this was one reason why my first semester hasn‘t started how it should have started... and then came “CORONA“... At the university everything had to be reorganised. So our “Freshers“-Events were all canceled and some of them were did online. Till this day I‘ve never even met some of my study colleuages. Also the online courses/lessons didn‘t worked well and therefore I decided to reshedule my courses to the next upcoming winter semester and to do an complete based first start with my law studies.

I love restarts and I don‘t think that the last semester was a failure. I‘ve learned so much about myself and what I have to change to become a sucessfull student. Now I can start even better and more powerfull.

Currently I’m planning the new year with my new ‘Leuchtturm’ and try to plan my meals for the upcoming next week (I really love cooking books, btw). Also coffee and sugar keeps me going when nothing else is able to.

Just for your information: I have my own flat and so household chores, cooking, dealing with insurances, and so on, are also part of my daily life, and I sure will share some of my personal “Hacks“ for those of you who maybe move out of their home, to start their university life.

I‘m so looking forward to share my daily life as a enthusiastic little law student and to communicate with other studyblrs all around the world!

hi guys! i am alya, 23 and a law student from india. techincally i am not new to scene but i decided to fully immerse myself into this vibrant community to keep myself productive and maybe make like minded friends. :)

i am in lawschool and currently am in my 4th year or 7th semester. i have opted for two of my favorite law fields as my honours so let’s see how that works out.
