Put this down as a weird reason for hope, but I think people really underestimate the utility and value of sometimes fucking things up.
An example: When I was younger, I in some ways majorly fucked up a situation with a friend, when I was trying to be there for him, but I was in over my head. It ended the friendship. But you know what, that fuckup saved so much of my mental health, because that friendship was really manipulative and bad for me, and I needed out.
Sometimes fucking up is the only way out of a bad situation. Sometimes all you can do is hit your limits, and come what may. Mentally, physically, socially, sensorily, fatigue-ily, whatever it may be.
We can't just do it all - and sometimes fucking up is the only way we know where that line is.
Imperfection isn't always a flaw - sometimes it's a feature.
Anyway, try to not be so hard on yourself for your failures. You never know what they might have saved you from.
Sometimes failure is your body's or your self's only way of asserting its needs. So have some extra self-compassion today.

How Trump Killed Every Business He Touched
Trump’s entire candidacy is based on a lie.
TRUMP: I’m really a good businessman. I’m so good at business.
Not true. Trump is a business failure. Almost every business he’s touched, he’s driven into the ground.
RUBIO: You ever heard of Trump Steaks?
TRUMP: Trump Steaks are the greatest steaks, and I mean that in every sense of the word!
RUBIO: You ever heard of Trump Vodka?
TRUMP: It’s a smooth vodka. It’s a great-tasting vodka.
RUBIO: All of these companies that he’s ruined!
It’s true! Trump had a failed board game…
TRUMP: My new game is Trump the Game.
…a failed bicycle race called the “Tour de Trump”…
TRUMP: I think this is an event that can be tremendous in the future. And it can really rival the Tour de France.
…a failed football team.
TRUMP: It’s gonna stay strong. It’s gonna stay strong for a long time.
Trump decided it was a good idea to start a mortgage company in 2006.
TRUMP: It’s a great time to start a mortgage company.
That failed in less than two years. Let’s see, what else was there?
JOHN OLIVER: Trump Magazine, which folded, Trump World Magazine, which also folded…
ROMNEY: Whatever happened to Trump Airlines?
Oh! That was a good one! One of his planes had a crash landing within the first two months, which he insisted was “the most beautiful landing you’ve ever seen.” The business failed within three years.
Trump has even managed to bankrupt multiple casinos. How do you lose money running a casino?
There’s an old joke that the easiest way to make a small fortune is to start with a large one. And that’s exactly what Trump did. Multiple analyses show that if Trump had simply invested his multi-million-dollar inheritance in an index fund and didn’t touch it, he’d be a lot richer than he is now. Think about that. His entire life’s work has been less successful than if he’d done nothing.
And when he was president, Trump ran the country like he ran his failed businesses. He added $8.4 trillion to the national debt — largely through his tax cuts for the rich and big corporations.
Trump has managed to survive every one of his business failures by leaving other people on the hook — leaving workers unpaid and shafting his investors.
The whole idea that Trump is good at business was a carefully-crafted illusion — concocted for a reality TV show. And like a lot of reality TV shows, we’ve come to learn it was all show, and no reality.
The only business Trump has been successful at is conning people. Now he’s trying to do it again. Don’t fall for it.

“Well, you know, the only one that was killed was a beautiful young lady named Ashli Babbitt … shot for no reason whatsoever.” —Donald Trump this week
Just before Christmas, when most of the Leftmedia talkingheads and scribes were bloviating about the possibility that Donald Trump would issue pardons to nonviolent January 6 protesters, Joe Biden issued a record list of 65 pardons and 1,634 clemencies for some very violent criminals.
Biden has now pardoned or granted clemency to more than 8,000 criminals, far more than any president in U.S. history. For context, Trump issued a total of 237 pardons and clemencies in his first term. Biden’s pardons came on the heels of his disgraceful pardon of Hunter Biden, despite his assurances that he would never do so. Of course, Biden will be most remembered for his endless list of lies over the course of his entire life on the taxpayer dole.
The big pardon and clemency giveaway was much like his last-minute presidential medals extravaganza. He awarded trophies mostly to his disreputable political benefactors.
So, what will Trump do with the convictions of nonviolent January 6, 2021, protesters in Washington? More than 1,400 people were charged with federal crimes associated with that protest, most with nonviolent offenses like trespassing. Over 900 people have been convicted. Amid tens of thousands of rally participants outside on the Capitol grounds, there were an estimated 50-75 offenders who committed violence or damaged the Capitol building.

People usually fail when they are on the verge of success. So give as much care to the end as to the beginning; then there will be no failure.

SHORT PSA (TW: SH, SUI)
Many get these mixed up. Su1c1de, and Se1f H4rm. "Se1f H4rm is used to try and manage distress. Whereas, su1c1de attempts to stop distress." There is a huge difference between these two Nevertheless, neither are easy to deal with, or less important than the other. Many people who struggle with NSSIB (non-su1cidal self injurious behavior) choose this over su1c1de due to: 1: The desire to live (or fear of death and what comes after) 2:Communication (some hide their scars, while some show them to try and indicate what they are feeling, because of how hard it is to put into words) 3: Coping mechanism (No matter how bad it may be, the individual may be looking for a sense of control) People struggling with su1c1de ideations may: 1: Want the pain to stop, and are not able to see the road ahead, like something is blocking the view 2: Not know a way to communicate 3: Are stuck in the moment, and feel as if it'll never get better and they have no hope Please understand that, if someone you know is struggling with this, it can be difficult for them if you don't approach it correctly. It's important to deal with the situation at hand calmly, and let them know that you are there for them. Source of quote: Psych2Go

"Momma's boy?"
What is this, the 1932?
You know, it would really help if the hate mail came with some kind of indication of who the person is or what the hell they're talking about, because this? This, as the kids say, "ain't it, fam."
This is tumblr, you've got bad reading comprehension, and you're angry at someone else over it?
Tumblr media
I've been insulted and threatened by real pros over the years. Actually cruel, insightful, deeply cutting stuff (more than once literally) from everyone from family members to men of the cloth.
You've got some basic curse words and homophobic insults, but nothing remarkable.
Well, I lie.
Tumblr media
This one was remarkable.

It is unfortunate that Joe Biden turned out as bad as he did. He's rotten to the core.
A true statesman, someone that loves this country more than himself, would have conducted himself on a much higher level over the past 4 years. An open border never would have happened, woke special interest groups would have not been placed first, and a path to return America to its traditions and principles would have been taken.
Biden is a miserable human being. He is unhappy, vengeful and lashes out at everyone. He is a coddled, overindulgent little boy.
If Biden was any kind of leader, he would insert himself into the lawfare that is going on against President Elect Trump and exert the power of the executive office to have them all go away.
