Gaybian Lesboy
A flag for individuals who identify as both gaybians and lesboys
I may remake this flag later. I don't really like how it looks but I need to think how to change it first

you know, it makes sense to talk about when older queer people living as themselves inspires younger queers to do the same, but i don't think we talk enough about how the bravery of young queers can inspire and help older queers, too. like, actually seeing younger trans men who don't bind and wear dresses makeup and keep their hair long has inspired me to feel more comfortable being a feminine trans man.
actually, seeing young queers who use neopronouns helped me feel more comfortable in using pronouns i genuinely like as opposed to pronouns i feel obligated to use for everyone else's comfort. actually, seeing young queers who identify as things like gaybians, fagdykes, lesboys, girlfags, and other "contradictory" labels made me feel more confident in being those things, too. there is something to be said about the bravery of people who are just learning how to express themselves fully.
i think we can all take pages from each others' books. we all have something to learn from and teach each other. of course older queers being there for the younger generations is important, but older queers have a lot to learn from younger generations, too.

Something i really hate about gen Z queers is that they’re more worried about what a queer person can or can’t do, than whether or not that person is happy
“Can a genderfluid person identify as lesbian even when they’re male? Can you identify as bi and gay? Are abrosexuals valid?” And the response is always people giving super specific explanations on who can/can’t identify as xyz, what is/isn’t “valid”, like if you don’t follow a list of rules to be a “good queer” you deserve to be treated like shit. I rarely see someone saying “If this is how they feel and they’re happy, then good for them” and when i do, it’s almost never a younger queer saying it
The whole point of fighting for lgbt rights is letting people be themselves without being shamed for not fitting in the cis/straight boxes, not turning lgbt identities into new strict boxes and shitting on anyone who enters the “wrong box”. People aren’t categories, they’re people
TLDR:
Tumblr media
Edit: the image is a joke + i’m not saying you’re a horrible person just because you used to act like that when you were 12, but i do think people who harass someone because of their identity are horrible people + i shouldn’t have said just gen z queers because there are grown ass adults pushing 30 who act like that. And the image is a joke
edit 2, last thing that i should have clarified but forgor: I am gen z and i’m talking about my personal experience. I’m not like, a 35 year old talking shit about kids, i am gen z and i rarely feel 100% safe around queer people my age. I’ve met people irl who were assholes at 14, and then years later they’re adults and still act the exact same way
I know there are 30, 40, etc year olds who act like that, but in my experience this kind of behavior is more common and normalized among gen z, not just online but also irl

sorry but being autistic and "not understanding conflicting labels" is NOT an excuse to put queer labels on your dni. Saying "lesboys dni" is just as bad as saying "trans men dni" or "lesbians dni". You can't pick and chose which queer people you do and don't accept. You either accept us all or accept no one. We are a community. Don't use autism to excuse transphobic and lesbophobic behavior.

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH ALL OF YOU. this includes the transtrenders, and the xenogender people, even, especially, if you hoard labels and have 70 different neopronouns you use, and mspec lesbians and mspec gays, and the lesboys, the gaybians, and the turigirls, and the afab transfems and amab transmascs, yes even the perisex ones, and the aros and aces and apls and other atertiaries who are disgusted and loveless, and the alloaros who are very positive with sexuality, and the cishet aro/ace/etc men and women, and the intersex people who have consistently been ignored by the wider and broader queer community for having complicated experiences with gender and sexuality, and the transmasculine people and the trans men who have to deal with being told that oppression against them doesn't exist, and the transfeminine people and trans women who are told their existence is inherently sexual, and the transneutral people who are always forgotten about in conversations and treated as less trans, and the transhet people who are told they're not queer enough, the queer poc who are constantly ignored and pushed down for their existence, and the queer elders who have to hear younger queers demonize decades old identities in the name of discourse, and everyone else i didn't mention. you deserve to have a good pride month too.
exclusionists, transmedicalists and similar who clown on this post will be publicly shamed. <3

stop assuming you can deconstruct gender without deconstructing sexuality when its all just people trying to communicate complex identities with limited vocabulary
aka if you can accept gender is a social construct of labels so bigender girlboys make sense, you should be able to accept lesboys

hey daily reminder that if you say “but multigender people aren’t actually men!” in your argument against mspec lesbians / lesboys that is, infact transphobic. if you don’t deny whatever womanhood that person may have or lack there of gender that person may have why would you deny their manhood? you cannot bend other peoples gender identities just to fit YOUR beliefs. It’s their identity not yours.
-sincerely, a multigender lesboy

[Image ID: An image of a black man wearing a black shirt and baseball cap, on a balcony overlooking a lawn, with another balcony noticeable on the man's right. At the top of the image is a lot of text. First is white text stating "I bring a sort of". The second is white text over a black background, clearly covering previous text, stating: 'none of this really matters, Labels are something we use to describe an aspect of our identity with, not rules we set on ourselves and others. We love who we love, and we express ourselves how we want. Labels don't have set rules or definitions as just like everything else doesn't. It is all constantly changing. Describe your love how you want, describe your gender how you want, It's your life." The third white text states "Vibe to the Community that queer exclusionist don't really like." The words "Community" and "queer exclusionist" also cover a black background, clearly covering up previous text. End Image ID.]
