My inconsequential pet peeve with the dragon age fandom is the erasure of male Lavellan and the assumption all Lavellans romanced Solas. And that's the devs' fault cause like Solas should be a bi option or AT LEAST discuss the vallasin (i am not looking up how to spell that) thing with male Lavellans also. I'm talking about gays at 2 am again, what a shocker.

Anyways, a few days ago i talked to a friend about how Taranza has a type and stuff as a silly joke, but then it went deeper and we went on and on about it for a bit.

Bottom line was that if we saw them in more "canon personalities" big quotations on that; their relationship would be sooo fucking funny?.

To me at the end of the day Taranza is a hopeless romantic who's hurting and is desperately seeking someone to fill the void that Sectonia left in NOT a healthy way. So he would gravitate towards Magolor since he's similar in a few things with the late queen.

And what would Magolor do? He would feed into it; he does love attention and recognition, plus wowie! His own minion, so cool!. Although after a while he gets kinda tired of it, is not fun anymore having someone hovering around you all the time just telling you what you want to hear, but also Taranza is one of the few people who willingly sticks next to him.

It becomes a back and forth that is quite interesting to see and how they try to navigate their weird ass situationship.

And their own internal problems, are the catalysts for this going on and getting bad, but they can't keep each other out of their lives. Both have become quite attached, that's why they keep coming back to the other.

They do unintentionally help and heal each other, Taranza realizing he's stuck with these unresolved feelings and having the courage to finally start the path to heal, and subsequently helping Magolor realize that maybe he doesn't really want to just own and control everything he sees.

At the end of the day Magolor is quite hard to decipher as a character; which is good! But we do have a lot of proof that what he desires the most is friendship and to be perceived, but he has never had that before and subsequently his copying method, to an extent, is to try and force the things he wants, bia manipulating or trying to take over the fucking galaxy.

It would also be really fun to see how Taranza takes at face value everything Magolor says to him, lie or not, because he has pink tainted glasses. Totally not gonna backfire at some point but oh well.

I don't know, I'm very normal about these two and Kirby stuff in general as you can see ✌️.

I don't really have an established date for that cuz sometimes I'm like man they'd be really cute during y0 and then other times I set it between post y0 and the beginning of y1. The latest they would start me thinks is some months after the events of y1 but in general it sorta depends on how I'm feeling and what silly scenarios play in my head

if we're talking y0: I like to think Kiryu has to go to Sotenbori for some reason, be it business or he's there with Nishiki for some partying. he sees Majima at the Grand being depressed and is like "damn girl those bags under your eyes makes my dick go *boing sound effect*" and asks him out 🥺 Kiryu gets rejected immediately cuz Majima's in this cycle of 'I deserve nothing but pain and suffering' but Kiryu can't read the room so he is persistently showing up at the Grand despite Majima very obviously wanting to kick his ass. eventually he relents and goes on cute™ dates with Kiryu and realizes oof maybe human intimacy be kinda gucci

if between y0 and y1: Majima's fresh in his mad dog era starting shit with people just to be annoying and Kiryu's one of his targets mainly due to the events of y0. he's kinda like "lol this goober really did some important plot stuff, huh?" and his curiosity gets the better of him because Kiryu is an enigma who eats bugs and Majima cannot suppress his need to get some sense of understanding on this weirdo. in this timeline, it's more one-sided affection from Majima that comes in the form of stabbing while Kiryu is desperately trying to fight the gay allegations and failing. eventually he caves but it's a sorta unofficial, on and off thing that Kiryu doesn't really know how to evaluate for himself. Majima doesn't really care what they are since he's high on life atm and has a cute dude with big boobs on his arm

if during y1: literally just everything Majima Everywhere. Goromi. GOROMI 😩💦 Kiryu is all: I LIKE PUSSY but everyone's like okay big man then why's Majima pole dancing for you huh. the two braincells he has start to click and he realizes maybe Majima wants to hold hands or something unthinkable like that. ngl I like to think Kiryu's thing for Yumi is like a demisexual bi thing where he's like, I do love her but she don't zap my brain quite like the bowlcut freak who knows how to punch me real good and it becomes sorta his personal introspective journey during this time. Majima is also floating in the space of am I doing this for his benefit cuz "training" or am I falling for this dork. he's pretty sad about it cuz of the Saejima reminder vibes but eventually Kiryu falls into his own person that Majima really meshes with and the two of them struggle to actually voice how they feel all the while their pants are down in some dirty alley

if after y1: (going to insert shit from a fic I'm working on) Kiryu's absolutely devastated with what happened in the Millennium Tower + now having to take care of Haruka that he's shut himself off from everyone and everything other than doing the bare minimum to live. in comes Majima being a menace like yo you can't like, let a child parent herself you gotta get outta this slump and Kiryu's all fuck you stop breaking into my house. so it's a long pain in the ass process to help Kiryu deal with his grief while Majima keeps unintentionally making googoo eyes at him and both of them are like boy I sure hope this doesn't awaken anything within me. there's also a lotta dadjima stuff going on and Kiryu's like wowie zowie so you do have a heart and Majima's like no way loser while being just 😳👉👈

There probably to versions of this so

gantlos version first because I like to think The person who'd confess is more likely to be gantlos

Ogrons reactions wouldn he well shocked obviously but I imagine ogron would be very confused because would have never predicted gantlos of all people to have some kind for romantic feelings for him (oblivouse ass)

I imagine ogron wouldn't know how to respond at first maybe asking gantlos to repeat what he just said before trying to proceeds all that and try to cover it up with a littl chuckle when in reality this man is confused as hell one thing for sure

I can imagine that it probably would take a small while before this confession would lead to anywhere mostly because I like to think ogron like I said is essential confused as fuck

But after all that confusion he's probably would wouldn't have a proper respond but I can ismgine that he's says something among the line of "I never thought you'd have these kinds of feelings for me" or smth

I'd also like to thing that the reaosk why ogorn could have never predicted gantlos to even hint of being romantically interested in him is because he generally doesn't think much about romance

Ogrons version is probably the most UNLIKELY vit if it was than that would mean that wowie congratulations ogorn you finally realized your gay and you love gantlos and I imagine the confession was sorta a bit of a mess or ogrons attempt to still stay professional during his confession similar to gantlos I iamgien the confession was a sorta in the moment thing and it was ogron just addressing the feelings he's realizing he was now developing

Actually for me it generally doesn't matter who confesses first because I doubt there confession will change much outside of just shedding light and showing how aware they are of there romantic feelings for one another but I do imagine gantlos and ogorn now just having a talk about it now that BOTH of them understand they like each other and when the topic of dating comes up its either they actually do agreed to become boyfriends they probably wouldn't tell anyone and just let them find out them selves cus cus for them actions speak louder than words

SO I HAVE BEEN TOLD I SHOULD BE WRITING ORIGINAL FICTION and a part of me wants to, but I’m a delicate flower and I also am a lot better working within the confines of worlds not created by me because when I don’t have the safety rails of adhering to things that are reasonable in canon, I just go ITS MY WORLD I CAN MAKE THE RULES. I don’t have a lot of restraint when I’m the one fully in control. I just love playing in sandboxes more than I love crafting original stuff. You can say so much more when you’re only worried about keeping things consistently within the realms of the canon.
