Beetlejuice held out yet ANOTHER bandage to you, grumbling slightly. His hair was a mid of red and purple. Why was he feeling this way? Was he frustrated? At himself maybe? At you? Who knew. Beetlejuice summoned a towel and went to clean some blood off of your face, using a thumb to wipe away some of your tears.

Now he found himself slumped on gaming chair , staring blankly at his pc monitor. The day's events played back in his mind: the rides, the small talk, the countless faces, all so unaware of the camera watching their every move. Each ride was another chance to leave a mark. But did it even matter? He scrolled through his phone, refreshing his social media feed over and over. The notifications were barely trickling in, just a few likes here and there. The big break, the viral moment he craved—it still hadn’t come.

The city’s hum outside his window was almost mocking him, reminding him of all the people living lives way more interesting than his own. He was supposed to be more than this, wasn't he? More than just some ride-share driver. More than just a nobody. Kurt sighed, eyes flicking back to the screen. Another influencer’s video with thousands of views. Lydia doesn’t give much of a reaction to any of the things thrown at her, sitting on the roof, not moving or even flinching, in the same place she first met the demon a few years ago.

She looks different from when he last saw her, still in the same dreary black attire but her hair has grown out from the black bob it once was, blonde strands resting up against her waist is what he notices first, he briefly wonders if she dyed it again, after all this is the first time he’s seen the goth girl with any light to her.

The spider he threw at her crawls onto her finger.

Annoyed by her lack of reaction, Beetlejuice walks over and snatches up the bug, crushing it between his fingers.

That action sets the blonde off.
