BU T before you two can do anything, you realize something…

Your neighbor is most likely definitely gonna call the police after having just apparently witnessed a whole ass spousal murder. However, instead of panicking, you see this as another fun opportunity to make it seem like nothing happened and your neighbor just cried wolf.

Within minutes, beetlejuice has himself looking good as new and you’ve cleaned up any mess left behind, and then there’s a knock on the door.

Your neighbor is insisting that they saw you gruesomely murder your husband right in front of their eyes,

“You mean my husband who’s right there?” you ask, jutting a thumb back at Lawrence, who walks up behind you and puts a hand on your shoulder, making the lady seem more and more crazy. The best part is how you two seem like a perfectly happy couple, and would never have such a bad fight over something so petty.

The cops investigate your home for a bit but ultimately decide there’s nothing, apologize for bothering you, and leave. You and Beetlejuice are standing in your doorway, him with an arm around your waist, and wait until your neighbor looks back at you to give them a no one will ever believe you smile before going back inside.

“Wanna know what the best part of that was?”

“What, that you just ruined my neighbor’s day?” you inquired as you got yourself a celebratory drink from the fridge. And possibly their mental heath.

“Well yeah but also, you called me your husband and didn’t back down.”

You pause for a moment as it fully sinks in. “Yeah.. I did.”

couple goals achieved: gaslighting your entire neighborhood

Beej getting y/n to go in on a prank for the next person to knock on their door

Tw murder, but it's a prank

"Okay babes, heres the plan, I want you to 'kill' me"

Beej explains the plan, and reminds you he's dead so dont hold back

It starts out with you inviting an overly nosey neighbor inside

You and beetlejuice, who was now looking more human and clean, stage a fight over something stupid, ending with you storming off to the kitchen

Beej trys to smooth over what happened and continues to converse with your neighbor

You come out from the kitchen with a hand behind your back, to quietly make you way back to beetlejuice, standing by his side, he places a hand on your shoulder

"See baby, you just needed to cool down, I know you HATE being wrong-"

You quickly swing the cleaver you had behind your back directly into the demon's gut, your neighbor screeches in terror, as beetlejuice begins to cough up what looks like blood before dropping to his knees.

Your neighbor was quick to leave while you were preoccupied with slashing at the demon's belly.

When you finally herd the slam of the front door, beetlejuice burst out laughing.

"Babes you were perfect, a perfect little murderer"

You smile and snort out a laugh "really?"

Beetlejuice pulls you into a side hug, after pulling the cleaver from his stomach "babes, I kid you not, you're little show, gave me a hard on"

"Oh go on" you wave clearly embarrassed with his praise

"How about you take this bloody corpse for a nice long ride~"

2024 kicked my ass supremely but at least i got to reconnect with the beetlejuice franchise, which pulled me out of a very bad place 🪲 so this one goes out to them. thank you for saving me and all that sappy shit

I drew this as a print to get signed by Alex Brightman, who plays Beetlejuice on Broadway, Adam and Sir Pentious in Hazbin, and Fizzarolli in Helluva Boss, for when I meet him at Twin Cities Con! I'm super excited to meet him.

This is also sort of a redraw of a similar piece I did almost a year ago with Fizz and Sir Pen in Beetlejuice outfits :)
