old dear poor Crumb. at least Mitternacht is kinda supportive??? was that being supportive??? im sure she's sympathetic at least maybe the other gods too? you think Crumb will adjust? or try to swap back to their old self in 33yrs?

It was! Miss Mitternacht was surprised, but very supportive of her new little godpoke who helped return her king in any form they take- She's very much trying to comfort them.

All the gods actually try to help Crumbs adjust- after all, supporting them feels only fair after thrusting the responsibility of the world onto a random person who showed up at the right time.

I like to think they become friends :). Crumbs the godpoke cannot fix their form by just going through the rift, They aren't a god, so if they went through the rift they'd just end up ascending. If they tried ascending and then immediately stopped being a god as an attempt to regain their original form they would find themselves even more changed by the rift, similar to how Hector has residual traits.

Speaking of Hector....

He's not quite sure why Crumbs hasn't made an attempt on his now mortal life, but he's trying to comfort them too; though he really doesn't think he has the right to, really.
