This is entirely conjecture and maybe even coincidence but I wanted to talk about the acting decisions in this scene, especially since the guild promotion between Pharazon and Sauron occurred off-screen.

Despite what the frame shows, Trystan Gravelle is actually similar* in height with Charlie Vickers. Pharazon is cowering in defense as Galadriel bullies his guards. Sauron's gaze also drops, looking down on Pharazon. He's imprisoned and yet, he is also controlling the scene. It feels like foreshadowing a certain religion and certain temple.

It's Sauron who tells Pharazon to stand down and let Galadriel go. Sauron offers info on her destination in exchange for a guild medallion. We know this because Galadriel deduces it.

Maybe we could have seen it on-screen but that could risk giving away the Sauron reveal. What's significant is that it's another example of Sauron seizing an unexpected opportunity at the expense of someone else (in this case, Galadriel) and uses it to his advantage immediately—get to a forge.

Pharazon readily gives him a medallion out of urgency but it also contradicts his speech at the start of the episode. So despite his promises to his supporters, he can also be tricked by Sauron.
