At risk of starting Discourse, I actually do read Laios as asexual or grey-A and leaning towards agender. (Am I projecting myself on him? Hell yeah.)

He absolutely knows what sex is, he's no innocent lost lamb. He probably has some degree of sex drive, and a theoretical understanding what's typically considered sexually attractive - though he can miss the nuances and prejudices which effect those opinions, or why people express them. (See his matter of fact assertion that the Orc leader's wives had many attractive traits, and his hasty scramble when he realizes he's implied he was attracted to them.) He understands sex is a driving motive for many creatures and people.

I don't know if he's had sex in the past, mainly because I'm not sure he'd care enough to seek it out and he'd probably not realize someone was hitting on him until afterwards. If he did, he probably enjoyed it, and then mentally filed it on his list of fun things to do when he has time, fundamentally unchanged for having lost his virginity.

Similarly, he enjoys many of the physical aspects of maleness - the larger build and greater physical strength compared to women of his race, and how it enables him to protect his party more effectively. The social effects of maleness are a mixed bag at times, but he does appreciate that he's not expected to be as socially astute as woman are. He doesn't suffer from being amab.

But if he woke up looking like he was Falin's twin sister and he never had sex again, he'd be completely fine. Sex can be fun, but monsters are more interesting. Gender, too, is ultimately another one of those weird arbitrary social rules. He doesn't care, there's way more interesting things going on in the dungeon.

As a human, Vee sees herself as an ambitious cis woman in a rich men's world and weaponizes femininity to her advantage while cursing the glass ceiling. She loves being a woman as much as she hates it and often wishes she was born male, fantasizes about how her life would be if she was a man, stares at men's clothes with longing... (🥚)

As a demon, he is reborn in a body that makes it easy to pass as a man: he can use a binder and change a few settings to make his voice deeper. He tells himself that "playing pretend" is simply the logical thing to do to protect himself and ascend to power (nevermind that there are several female Overlords. Yep, he's in denial)

Over the years, he slowly comes to terms with the fact that he enjoys being perceived as masculine in a way that has nothing to do with social status. Vox the businessman isn't just a persona, a performance, it's a real identity that brings him joy and makes him feel good about himself.

He finally figured it out! He was a trans man all along! He decides to fully transition, and it feels great, for a while. Gender euphoria, baby.

And yet... As much as he loves being a man, some days, he misses being called a lady and wearing dresses. Isn't that just ironic? Suddenly, the longing is back. He feels just like he used to when he was human, only this time the genders are reversed.

He starts second-guessing himself, frustrated and anxious, and his internalized misogyny and old-timey perception of gender roles are NOT helping him process the situation at all. He starts overperforming masculinity to try and compensate for his doubts. Was he just faking masculinity so well that he fell for his own lie?? That can't be true. He loves being a man. He just... she, she just wishes she could sometimes be perceived as a woman, too. (and no, he can't settle for something in the middle or outside of the binary: it has to be one extreme or the other, like a binary signal of 0 or 1)

Thankfully for Vee, she's got an incredible adaptable biomechanical body. Once she finally figures out that she can be a woman one day and a man the next (because she can do whatever she wants, forever), and that her fem gender expression doesn't invalidate his masculinity in any way, she gets SO MANY upgrades <3

tl;dr: "cis" woman with strong gender envy and internalized misogyny -> "cis" demon "pretending" to be a man -> gender crisis -> transgender man?? -> wait a second -> gender crisis #2 -> bigender Vox <3

Okay I'm not usually one to be rude but genuinely, I am BEGGING this fucking fandom to stop using entirely or primarily he/him for Seven Red Suns.

It's always he/him! Literally at least a quarter of this fandom seems to he/him them and masculinize them constantly. What gets me here is that it's never like, they/he/she and nonbinary, or they/them + neopronouns and agender, or something like that where you're just adding onto stuff while still respecting their canon gender and pronouns, gender and pronoun headcanons that aren't just the canonical nonbinary they/them are like, ALWAYS he/him or he/they and masc aligned. When people do that CONSTANTLY it's not just something you can ignore either. Because people are just constantly misgendering them.

This isn't even mentioning how despite having no canon genders, Chasing Wind/Grey Wind and Unparalleled Innocence are pretty often just stuck with binary genders... especially the latter who's most commonly just "she/her girl" to people. Now mind you there's nothing really wrong with this since they don't have established genders, but idk, like, man is it tiring to see that a lot of this fandom is just... either weird about nonbinary gender or just not really varied in common interpretations, between this and especially people just straight up misgendering Suns.

Genuinely I can't stand the "Suns being written as a he/him using boy" thing though. I'm so tired of nonbinary characters being forced into a binary box to be made more palatable or for shipping. Yeah that's right, I'm saying it; a lot of Suns being masculinized comes from the fact that their two most common monogamous ships and most common polyship are with guys and people are weird about MLM or MLM presenting ships. Not everything has to be yaoi guys I am begging you, a ship can be just as fun when one party is nonbinary. Literally begging. It doesn't need to be all masc aligned characters to be good. Please just be normal.

Me needs to talk about my original character for "Be Kind, My Neighbor", Mousey... 🐭🥔

Time to elaborate under the cut! :-)

Here they are, this is Mousey!!

Who's Mousey...?

First of all, I want to mention, despite Mousey having most of my personality traits and me pairing them with Rarold (which is my F/O), they are not a self-insert. They're their own thing! They're an oc, not a sona... ^_^

It is through them I show my love for the corn man, so, naturally they mean a lot to me for that fact alone but they are way more than this... I created them all the way back in September 2022 and they are my favorite original character of mine ever! :-)

Now, let's truly talk about the Mouser!!!

Mousey is a 46-years-old potato farmer using they/them pronouns. (They're agender) They were born and raised in Belgium, but moved to the United States in 1952, in the small town of Baths. This is when they met Rarold, their neighbor, who became their rival the same year when they both participated in an agriculture competition. (Mousey won)

They are a very outgoing person, always smiling and extroverted. Always radiating a positive energy. Anyone in Baths appreciates them. Anyone but... Rarold. Or does he...? Rarold has always been mad at Mousey for beating him up at the agriculture competition for two entire decades... but deep down they're the only human being he tolerates in town. (He just won't admit it)

Physically, Mousey has a whiskers shaped mustach and long hair they always tie up in pigtails. They've been wearing the same overalls for years... This latter is missing a suspender and had a hole (that has been fixed). They always have with them their trusty shovel, which has been their best tool for decades.

They're very expressive as a person (as you can see on their reference sheet).

Their voice is deep, and they have a strong French-Belgian accent.

A few fun facts...:

Their birthday is August 19th.

They are bisexual.

They are autistic and have adhd.

Their first name, Mouserel, was completely made up... I wanted a first name for them with "Mouse" in it.

Their last name “Beltopo” basically means “Beautiful Mouse” in Italian; combining “Bellissimo” (Beautiful) and “Topo” (Mouse).

Their height is 5'3. (161 centimeters)

Puns are their favorite kind of jokes.

Their relationship with Rarold:

Rarold and Mousey's dynamic is something you could call "Rivals to Lovers Slowest Burn Ever Known To Mankind" see... I do like continuity. And well, Rarold was canonically married. (As unbelievable as it sounds) So, of course, I didn't make Mousey and him dating from the start.

The both of them met in 1952, and for two decades long, they've been rivals. Out of jealousy for always losing to them at the agriculture competition, Rarold was acting grumpy towards Mousey and rolling his eyes anytime they were doing anything. “Such an annoyance...!”, he thought. And he had a nickname for them: “Pipsqueak”. He called them that to make fun of them... but Mousey appreciated this nickname quite a lot.

This all changed in 1973, around the time Kevin went missing. Mousey noticed how grumpy Rarold was... Well, he was grumpier than usual. In September of the same year, when he came back from Chopo's, he cursed everyone in his field for being so mean to his little angel cat. Mousey heard that, and, naturally, asked him what was wrong. He did not reply at first but they insisted and he said what happened.

They felt very sorry for him, saying how everyone was unfair to him and how they were despicable for making fun of a lost pet like that. Rarold, at this very moment, felt appreciated and cared for. He even blushed a little bit. It was nice to have someone that cared for you.

A month later, in October 1973, there were a local Halloween Party in Baths. Mousey invited Rarold to go to the party with them. At first, he did not want to, saying how “childish” such an event was, and that everyone would make fun of him. Mousey though begged him, which made him grimace. “Ugh, fiiiiiine...” is what he said to them, reluctantly accepting the offer.

He was dressed in a potato costume and Mousey in a corn one... it was all Mousey's idea. To have costumes of each other's crops. Rarold felt... very ridiculous in such a costume. Though, Mousey insisted of how cute he was and how “delicious” he looked, which made him blush furiously. “Is Pipsqueak flirting with me...? ” he thought, blushing even more.

At some point, there were love songs playing, and people dancing. Mousey asked Rarold to slow dance with them... he hesitated but accepted. During the dance, Rarold felt butterflies in his stomach... Mousey, the Pipsqueak... was so cute at this very moment. It is when he realized how nice they always have been towards him. He looked them straight in the eyes and said; “Pipsqueak, I thiiiink I may like you...” Mousey's eyes widened but naturally they replied “I think I like you too, Rarie...”. They looked at each other and after a few seconds of pure, complete silence... they kissed each other. This is where their love story started... at a Halloween party and to the “Close To You" song by Carpenters... Love wins!!! 🌽🥔❤️💚

So much new things happened with them these past two years and I'm excited to see what I will create with them in 2025. Thanks if you've read everything in that post, means a lot to me. 💚

!! THIS BLOG IS AN OC RP BLOG !!

This blog is specifically about my bizzyboy OC for the game "Great God Grove", aka Cle! Whom I have posted about before, but it was - well more so a RANT about them, a very messy one too! So this post is to explain things a BIT better about Cle, and Myself (the owner of the account). A little get to know who is running this, boundaries, and again about the character this blog focuses on!

!! FIRST A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE OWNER !!

You may call me Jester, Necromancer, or by the name of any of my favourite characters if that ever comes to mind! I go by He/She/They prns, but also One/Ze neos, being just an agender fella out here! Felt like it's worth noting I have diagnosed ASD, but I'm also chronically ill >_< (Hashimoto Thyroiditis, it runs in my family,,) - I do my best to interact with others and keep going forward though! - Just pls be patient with me if you could, overall my social skills r a bit MESSY! Going by my boundaries now, I find my comfort with certain things fluctuating, but usually I remain uncomfortable with things that are suggestive or 18+, even the small mentions. - This is due to a bit of a private reasoning, but I've gone through stuff and just prefer to avoid it most often. - I've put it in my settings to hide such content from me though, so for those that occasionally post stuff like that, don't worry about it much, just avoid mentions of this stuff if possible when talking to me! Otherwise, I may be PRETTY anxious around the internet, people scary ,, but I do take myself as a fairly friendly person !! I was initially not planning on it, but I'll likely be rather active with posting Cle-related stuff :-). Please feel free to interact with me, especially other rp blogs if you wish!

!! NOW ABOUT THE STAR OF THE SHOW !!

AKA CLE!! Cle's on the younger side of the bizzyboys, having been part of the bizzyboys long enough to prove he's NOT fit for solving mysteries at least, but instead got a spot to cook food for the ones that are out there most often! - She's the one that you can come to for any snacks to get during your breaks, able to make delicious food, as long as he has the ingredients! Which is one of the ONLY reasons he could ever be seen outside the van or the bizzyboy modes of transport. Another time maybe you're lucky enough seeing Cle feel confident enough to solve "mysteries"!

Cle goes specifically by She/He pronouns, she's pretty indifferent to gender! Probably somewhere along the transfem case. - But he wouldn't confirm it, since he's focused on making sure everyone's fed at all costs. - But she does feel detached from being seen necessarily as a guy / any male-oriented things, but he also doesn't mind he/him pronouns. . . Yeah it's quite the confusing case of gender. Cle's known for her lack of bone, being - a bit of a push over compared to others unfortunately. She is rather self-less in a way, at most focusing on other people, feeding everyone, making sure everyone's happy, and making sure he doesn't accidentally insult someone somehow! . . In a way though, she is extremely friendly and at times talkative, if he finds herself comfortable enough around you. Which can be a rare case,, But coincidentally enough, this is the main reason Cle joined the bizzyboys, he did find that it was possible to at least feel a sense of belonging and community amidst them, which - Cle evidently looks for wherever she goes. He's a fella who wants to find a place to belong, a place where he'd feel happy no matter who she is around! - But it's hard to feel that way when he tends to avoid people that AREN'T the bizzyboys now-a-days.

A bit of a fun fact galore! Cle's got a tiny bit of a crush on Cobigail, why? - Well I like Cobigail and I want to self project even a tiny bit, pretty corn goddess what can I say? - Also the entire Milldread thing about community and all is something that speaks to Cle! He's an odd case. - But by most part in what content I make of Cle, her love will be unrequited </3 No true fulfilled yuri for him. He often avoids mystery solving and all that, that's pretty obvious, her main job is to make food for those that order some! - Like that 56 empanadas someone once ordered. . . jeez. Cle's hair is much poofier than others, curling and all that! Mostly because he simply. . . doesn't take care of it. She forgets to straighten it often times. You probably shouldn't ask how long it's been though. They only LOOK on the verge of tears to be fair, even if they probably are at times. Don't yell at them you shouldn't test this.

i am not normal about these characters: shadow the hedgehog

shadow is special to me. he was the first character i was ever abnormal about. so today you all get to share in my abnormalness

now, if you’ve seen my previous iannatc posts, obviously we’re gonna get neurodivergent headcanons out of the way first. autism and ptsd. i don’t think i need to elaborate on the ptsd. shadow is hypersensitive, is hyperempathetic, has special interests, avoids eye contact, doesn’t understand social conventions, and has alexithymia.

ofc this motherfucker is hyperempathetic. he was created to be a companion for maria as well as to cure her. but he was also created to be a weapon, so he would have heightened senses as well. he gets overstimulated really easily when he’s not in a fight.

he has special interests in medicine/diseases/healthcare in general, motorcycles and bugs. i saw a comic where a bug got onto the ark and now i just think shadow really likes bugs and thinks they’re neat. i’ve explained that he knows medical stuff in a different post

shadow was raised on the ark. of course his ass doesn’t understand social conventions.

my guy does NOT understand his own emotions

shadow has a few different fears, mostly stemming from trauma. he’s especially afraid of heights (acrophobia), tight spaces (claustrophobia) and needles (trypanophobia). needles (and really any medical things) are made 10x worse when he doesn’t have any agency in the situation.

bc of the medical trauma, he strongly prefers colored/patterned bandages bc they feel less clinical/institutional.

he loves physical contact. he is a hugger. he requires kindness and affection. his love language is physical closeness. he does not want anyone to know about this. sometimes rouge will carry him around and he’ll pretend to hate it but he secretly really enjoys it.

shadow is agender (any pronouns, he/him used here for consistency). he learned about trans people and thought “how can anyone feel like a man or a woman?” he then went into a spiral about it (bc of self worth/dehumanization issues) until rouge told him to look up the term agender. this happened with him being aroace as well, except replace rouge with sonic, who is also aroace. sometimes i throw aplatonic into the mix for extra fun.

shadow does not officially work for gun. in fact, he actually got rouge to help him file a lawsuit for all the bullshit they put him through. they settled out of court, and now shadow gets a monthly sum of money from gun. he joins rouge and omega on missions though (rouge works for gun as an alternative to prison, omega wants to blow shit up), and he’s also more competent than any of the medical team, so he’s unofficially in charge of them. he and abe are currently working shit out with the government to get shadow an official medical license.

he lives with rouge and omega. they’re a weird little fucked up found family 💕

shadow is susceptible to hyperthermia/heat stroke. thick black fur gets hot in the summer, plus he’s used to the colder temperatures on the ark/in cryostasis.

shadow will always go see the northern lights if he has any opportunity to. he got to experience them on the ark with maria (yes, you CAN see the northern lights from space) and they both wanted to see what the lights were like on earth. they’re more beautiful than shadow ever could have imagined. he named his chao aurora btw.

sonic and shadow secretly get along, and even have movie nights together. in front of other people (or a camera) they’ll always fight, but they do actually enjoy each other’s company. tails and rouge see right through their facades. shadow also only pretends to have beef with tails when sonic is around. otherwise, he gets along with both just fine.

shadow has no preferred music genre. he likes anything from taylor swift to death metal. sonic got him into crush 40 tho lmao (see iannatc sonic edition)

shadow is a keanu stan. he watched the one spongebob movie solely bc he was told keanu was in it. his favorite franchise of all time is john wick. if he knew keanu voiced him in the scu he’d explode.

shadow thinks die hard is a christmas movie. (he is correct.)

This is a bit of add on lore from Athena's bio. If you look at the "Notable Past" bit of it you'll first see this:

Basically her mother is still Metis in this, her father is unknown, however when she was a couple months old Metis got pregnant again. Of course, like this says when she was around 10-11 months old Metis had the baby.

Sadly Metis did not survive, this led to Athena having to be put in foster care up until she was around 10-12ish. Metis's kid however survived, and before I reveal his name I kinda have to state something.(Skip if you want)

So in this I am taking creative liberties I am picking and choosing which myths to try and reuse in this. I did this especially with Eros instead of making him Aphrodite's kid I instead made him her younger brother.

Anyways, her brother was name Ericthonius(yep...) he basically look like a copy and paste of Athena, but male and with Metis's eyes and personality. He is a junior in highschool at the moment, and is planning on skipping senior year.

He's Agender and Gay/Aro, he was born half-blind making him suprisingly good at archery(I will explain why later if you want) He also may not look like it to the first glance, but is very much a party animal. Although he's only 17 he lives in Metis's old house on his own, and has a part-time job.

He's hooked up on multiple(a lot of) ocassions for the fun/thrill of it, never staying after long enough to have an actual conversation. He is an A+ student, and has been given a scholarship for how well he does in archery and how great of a student he is.

actually not to keep talking abt a topic hours later but i want to build off of one of my tags on that ultrakill post i rb'd last night [and im ONLY going to expand on one of my points, i will not be bringing up any other arguments in this post]

people love love love to say stuff like "pronouns =/= gender" [correct] and that you dont NEED to have specific pronouns such as he/him or she/her to be gay or lesbian [also correct], and while these two are great points that i agree with, it seems that these peoples support for this only goes as far as they/them users.

the absolute SECOND that a characters gender expression is canonically different from a "classic nonbinary" expression, its suddenly "up in the air" and "for your interpritation." and why is that?

specifically in the case of v1 and v2 from ultrakill; two canonically genderless/genderqueer/agender/nonbinray/what have you characters. v1 is VERY commonly seen as masc, and v2 is very commonly seen as fem.

v1 and v2 are also commonly headcannoned as gay and lesbian, respectively. theyre commonly shipped with characters seen as masc and fem. do you see what connections im beginning to see?

like it or not, by disregarding the canonical gender expression [or lacktherof] for these two, in order to fit them both into simple, binary, gendered boxes to also fit your specific sexuality headcanon - is in fact, an act of erasure! it comes off as INCREDIBLY iffy to fit nonbinary characters into a "masc nonbinary" and "fem nonbinary" binary.

and the fact is, i see people less often use other pronouns than it/its for these two for headcanon purposes or for fun or for projection, and more for SHIPPING purposes. there is a MASSIVE difference between adding onto a characters canonical pronouns for your own enjoyment and preference, and COMPLETELY changing them because you want a certain ship to be more gay, or whatever. an it/its user can be gay! it can also be a lesbian! it using it/its doesnt make it any less gay or any less of a lesbian, and it definitely doesnt make it any less nonbinary/genderqueer!

idk its just like. the machines in ultrakill [and most importantly v1 as the player character] being exclusively referred to as it/its is a major part of them and who they are. it is how they all express their gender CANONICALLY in the game. there are no other refferals no other pronouns, nothing. by disregarding this fact SO quickly, along with often only being for shipping reasons, you are showing that you Do Not Care for what the canon text is trying to tell you about the machines. im sorry but thats how it reads to me.

genuinely people love nonbinary characters until theyre the "wrong kind" of nonbinary, and all of a sudden jump through as many hoops as they physically can to disregard anything to do with that.

3] no i am not saying you CANT listen to hakita and use different pronouns for the machines. at the end of the day hakitas word, regardless of if its in the game or not, is canon. im not your boss i cant tell you what to do. im not a fan of using he/him or she/her for Either v1 or v2 myself, but if it makes you happy, i literally cannot stop you. i hold no power over your decisions. i am once again saying, i am NOT tell you that you CANT do it.

just please. if your kneejerk reaction to being told "do what feels comfortable" about a characters pronouns, is to immediately assign the characters with it/its pronouns arbitrary masc/fem ones instead.. if that is your immediate kneejerk reaction, then PLEASE stop for a moment and consider why you feel that way specifically.

Freddys afab, and only goes by he/him with the animatronics. He didnt tell them he's male or anything. What happeend was they they were all talking to eachothet, getting to know eachother, when chica realized she forgot to ask his name. Meanwhile freddy had though he heard Fred, so he wss on his own little world and asked to the air ‘Fred?’ so they took that as his name and he hasnt ‘corrected them’. (This is my (loop’s) work around for those twins basicallly having the same name.) Hes called Freddy and not Fred bc Chica gives them all nicknanes , Freddy, Foxy, Goldy, instead of Fred, Fox, and Golden. ( Bonnie… you bastard you already fit…. cannot change his name to Bon without nuking Bons actual name). He hasn't thought about his sexuality because he thinks he's undatable, Dysphoria levels are very high, hes contantly ‘out of it’ in his own body. feels like hes just, piloting it, distant from himself and the now. whenever he does come back doen it feels awful fir a bilion reasons 👍 this makes it hard for him to identify the feelings he has about himself since its all so fuzzy and distant. hes not thinking about his sexuality, he doesn’t think anyone would really date him so, fuck if he knows! Unlike Bon she's normal about being lesbian, mostly because their dad thinks she "doesn't look like one" and because generally girls just get an easier pass to be mushy and close to eachother (eugh), goes by she/her Owynn is afab trans guy, demiromantic, ace and poly. Damn share some flags dude you are hogging them. i do not care for nurse doom

to start this blog off right, im going to immediately launch into my many issues with doom and how he is both delivered and perceived

with that said, here are my main and most thought on qualms

doom being paired with patients

whilst i believe pairing any patient with a staff member is creepy and gross, doom in particular is not only shipped with a plethora of them, but also finds his way into the main polyamorous quadruplet that makes up cometcare. this is troublesome for many, many reasons, but the main one that always springs to mind is this: the egregious power imbalance

think about it. would you really go out with your medical nurse? wouldnt that be odd? not to mention doom has hurt and tortured several of the patients he is currently in a relationship with in cometcare. i dont know about anyone else, but it would personally make me extremely uncomfortable to have anyone insinuate me and a person who abused me would make a great couple

dooms gender being changed for the express purpose of shipping

doom used to be a cis man. while there is nothing wrong with him being changed to agender, kc has gone on record saying that it was specifically so his gender could be compatible with caroline being a lesbian

from a perspective of "these are just kc's ocs!", this is ultimately something to shrug and maybe make a face over. however, from the perspective of sparklecare as a piece of media (which is very much is, regardless of what kc thinks) and as a story, it is upsetting. why make a man agender just to ship with a lesbian? a lesbian that he has hurt repeatedly, no less? its not a very fun situation

dooms extremely sudden character "development"

i say "development" in quotations because truly, there was none. one day kc decided squeak liked doom, and thus his deterioration began. squeak started drawing him much more friendly looking and decided that any of the things he had done in the past volumes (such as being toxicly masculine and (even unwillingly) misogynistic towards uni when taking away beary) suddenly didnt happen. doom is forced to do things like this yes, but he had no reason to act maliciously as he does in many of these situations before the sudden change. now he has been sanded down to his barest bones, leaving a sad and pathetic little guy who you Have to feel sorry for :( he has no say in the matter of what he does :( he would never hurt a fly :( yes he tortures people for a living BUT DONT LOOK AT THAT! look at how sad and lonely he is!! :(!!!

overall, i would not say doom is my favorite character. in fact, because of these issues, hes probably one of my least favorite ones. its extremely frustrating seeing kc course correct so hard to make characters squeak likes into "good guys" that they lose all sense of themselves along the way. if you ask me, doom should have stayed morally ambiguous. it is not only much more interesting, it is actually true to what his original role as a character was. i do unfortunately believe that because of cometcares existence, this role is forever lost and will never be found again, which is a shame

doom had the chance to be such a captivating and compelling character, but will forever be stifled for the sake of shipping and making sure any character kc likes is unmistakably "redeemable", no matter what the cost

now this is gonna seem like a big surprise to everyone, I Know, but i REALLY like normingus. i think about these two CONSTANTLY like something well and truly sinister has taken over my brain and reduced me down to a child slamming two barbies together like “theyre kissing theyre kissing” like its bad for me. god just like. the flavors of normingus you can have. the bitter rivals/enemies to reluctant friends to lovers pipeline is real and it lives in my heart. truly and honestly i think they are an untapped well of potential EVEN OUTSIDE OF JUST STRAIGHT UP SHIPPING THEM. i think their dynamics of being like two sides of the same coin when it comes to callum is super interesting, and theorizing on how they both could grow and change as people post ch3 is super fun to do bc like. they both have been given a second chance at life, how will they use it? also there’s the fact that mingus hires norm on and finally has a reliant employee other than tango. the kind of bond these two could forge even outside of a romantic sense is really cool and i wish more people touched on it!!!! tho of course i Do still rlly like them in a romantic context im ngl, and i Also wish people explored this dynamic more. but In General i think norm and mingus are an untapped well of potential!!!!!!!!!!! and i have literally TOO MANY fic ideas revolving them it’s actual insanity

A BROTP I have with said character:

mingus and tango have a dynamic that im EXTREMELY fond of, partially by my own doing. i think the like begrudging (on mingus’ end) friendship they have is so special. like tango is just an employee but he’s also been at mingus’ side for the longest time and is probably the one person she can trust to back her up if shit goes awry. but GOD FORBID if you ever told tango that he would start giggling and kicking his feet like fucking spongebob and you’d never hear the end of it. so mingus has to keep him at arms length even though i think she genuinely sees some parts of herself in him and wants to encourage him to thrive. in a suuuuuuper post canon world, when mingus eventually steps down as mayor, i think she fully endorses and encourages tango to run in her stead. a passing of the torch, in a way, and tango takes the endorsement VERY personally like i think he’d start bawling and hug her so tight and mingus would reluctantly return the embrace. god they’re just so silly you guys

A NOTP I have with said character:

i have yet to see a ship with mingus that has genuinely made me scratch my head so uh. nothing for here!

A random headcanon:

this is kind of random and i touch on it in tryt, but i think she collects knickknacks (specifically novelty snowglobes but also other things). i think her office in town hall is very deliberately kept very sterile and like. devoid of personal affectations because she is trying to maintain an Image there. but her house is a different fuckin story. i think callum probably started collecting novelty snowglobes and mingus just noticed how her house growing up was full of them, and eventually when her dad died and she was given the house back she just. continued callums collection. started bidding for super expensive ones on ebay and going out of her way to find antique stores with little knickknacks from her pawpaws time. i think it would be a kind of private joy for her, to have this ongoing collection of Things some of which connect her with her pawpaw, and something she would NEVER dare show another soul. that is, until she starts making friends and having people over and everyone can realize how much of an oddball she truly is <3

General Opinion over said character:

guys i really fucking like mingus. mingus is FASCINATING as a character like she takes herself so seriously and yet is So Ridiculous it’s really funny. and just her whole motivations and her perspective on life and her grandfather it all just makes me wanna tear at the walls and scream and cry. genuinely the first time i played through chapter 3, mingus’ monologue at the end brought tears to my eyes bc i resonated with her longing on such a level it like. it really put her into perspective for me. and since then i’ve just become more and more fond of her like ohhhhhhhhhhh i love her guys. i really do. mingus kingus forevar and evar
