Something small and scaled. Tark: "A snake?" Tark asks in Draconic. DM: Her eyes kind of cut to you and she bares her teeth in what you seen Kaltauga do as a smile but it's still unsettling. Tark (OOC): Yeah. FD: [in Dracoinc] A snake, yes. A lying little snake. DM: Inside the carriage, for those who are still inside, you do see that Vanessa is listening to what's going on outside and you see her start to sink down a little bit into the seat. Tark (OOC): Oh ya'll better hide her. Oh, they could probably smell her though. Oh. Okay. Eudora: Hmm. Marigold (OOC): Are they talking in Draconic? Hunt (OOC): Yeah. little drabble about ellie and reader as the lady and the tramp (we all know who is the tramp)

"c'mon" ellie says, a greasy fry resting between her lips "get the fry"

you frown your eyebrows, but direct your hand towards ellie's lips anyways. she moves before you could grab the fry in her mouth "not like that"

"with your mouth" she continues. you look at her, your hands leaving the keyboard of your computer

"what?"

"get it" ellie moves the fry between her lips, making faces to encourage you to do as she wants "c'mon"

"we aren't in the lady and the tramp ellie" you say, rolling your eyes and turning your attention back to the computer, resuming your task.

the light in your dorm is dim, you can hear people coming and going down the hall, talking about exams and subjects, complaining about teachers and longing for vacations.

"i know" ellie says, swallowing the potato and spinning around in the swivel chair "perhaps, they ate spaghetti, not fryes"

you smile slightly at the clarification. ellie had come to your dorm about 20 minutes ago, complaining about how hard her last assignment was and how her professor hated her, emphasizing the fact that she was sure it was because of that one time she fought with him in the middle of a debate. and with a tapper of fryes under her arm.

"i stole them from the kitchen" she told you when you asked, her lips in a pout and her eyebrows furrowed.

"cmon, get it" she repeated, placing another chip in her mouth "just for fun. i'll give you 20 bucks."

you looked back at her. you considered it for a moment, knowing that ellie wouldn't stop bugging you until you did, and you really needed to finish this assignment in time for your exam.

And something about being so close to her mouth made your stomach tingle.

"okay" you say, giving in to those puppy dog eyes "you are so weird".

she smiles "i know"

"I only do it for that 20 bucks" you reply, pulling your chair closer to ellie. but you knew that ellie didn't have 20 dollars. not even 5.

ellie rolls her eyes and nods, inviting you to proceed.

you try to think about how this is not normal behavior between friends as you move towards her mouth and feel the air from her breath against your face. the fry separates you and her by about 8 centimeters, so there is a bit of space between your faces, though not enough to avoid a nervous twitch in your stomach.

as your lips are about to grab the greasy chip, ellie pulls back, preventing you from catching it "ellie!" you exclaim, watching as ellie laughs uproariously.

"sorry, sorry!" she says, feeling your hand push her and almost knock her off the swivel chair "i had to do it. i'm sorry. now i'm serious."

when ellie gets back into her normal position, you move yourself to get close to her face again, trying to avoid the way ellie's eyes are staring at you with utmost attention, piercing your pores.

as your teeth are about to hunt for the food, ellie is quick and puts the whole chip in her mouth, causing you to stumble and end up with your lips on hers.

you feel ellie's salty lips against yours, greasy and warm. she rushes to rest her hand on your jaw, preventing you from pulling away from her but still giving you the chance to do so if that's what you want.

but you don't.

you reciprocate her kiss, which is not a kiss as such, as your lips only remain against each other for a few seconds, without moving, before they separate.

things are silent for a few seconds. you lick your lips, feeling the taste that ellie left you.

"we could agree that this is the modern version of lady and the tramp" ellie says, a playful tone tinges her voice and you can't help but giggle, feeling a warmth come over your cheeks.

"you idiot" you reply

ellie laughs and places another fry in her mouth "you didn't get it. try again".

you smile and move in again. the game goes on for five more rounds, five rounds where you fail to catch the fry and five rounds where you end up kissing ellie.

𓂀 Sam met you on a hunt, initially wary because, well... witches usually weren't on the "good" list. But you were different, no deals, no dark rituals, just raw, untamed power you didn't fully understand yet. And that intrigued him.

𓂀 At first, he didn't know what to make of you. You weren't evil, but you also weren't entirely in control of yourself either. There were moments when your magic flared up without warning, lights flickering when you were frustrated, books flying off shelves when you were startled. It was unpredictable, but never malicious.

𓂀 He saw how much you hated not being able to control it. You'd spent your whole life trying to suppress it, convinced that if you let it out, you'd turn into something dangerous. Sam understood that better than you realized.

𓂀 He would be the one to convince you that your magic wasn't something to be afraid of. That just because some witches went dark didn't mean you would. "Powers don't make you a monster," he'd say, voice soft but firm. "It's what you do with it."

𓂀 Sam would help you. He's always been drawn to knowledge, to understanding things most people would fear. So he'd research, stay up late reading through old books, looking for ways to help you control your power. He wanted you to feel safe in your own skin.

𓂀 He's insanely protective, even if he won't always admit it. He knows what hunters would do if they found out what you were. How they'd look at you like you were just another thing to be taken down. And that thought alone makes his blood boil.

𓂀 The first time you lost control in front of him,  really lost control he didn't flinch. Didn't run. Just stayed. He stepped closer, let you shake in his arms as you whispered, "I didn't mean to." And he just held you tighter, saying, "I know. I know you didn't."

𓂀 Sometimes, he wonders if your powers are connected to his visions. If maybe fate pulled you two together because you understand each other in ways no one else could. You both know what it's like to have something inside you that feels bigger than yourself. Something terrifying and powerful and impossible to ignore.

𓂀 Dean was... less than thrilled at first. He trusted Sam's judgment, sure, but a witch? He kept a close eye on you for a while, waiting for a reason to call it a bad idea. But when he saw how human you were, how you patched Sam up after hunts, how you made sure he ate, how you looked at him like he wasn't just some weapon to be used, Dean got it.

𓂀 You and Sam have this unspoken understanding. You don't need to explain the weight of your fears, the guilt, the constant worry that one day, your powers will make you something you don't want to be. He gets it. And when the nightmares come, when the self-doubt creeps in, he's there. Always.

𓂀 If your magic ever reacted to your emotions around him, like if a burst of power sent a shock through the air when he kissed you for the first time, he'd just grin, that soft, boyish smile that made your knees weak. "Guess that means you like me, huh?"

𓂀 But deep down, he marvels at you. At the fact that despite everything, you choose to be good. You choose to fight beside him, even when the world has given you every reason not to.

Ghostflower Headcanons

As romantic gestures, Miles loves setting up these elaborate (if a little overkill) activities for Gwen to do, whether it's a special occasion or just. whenever feels like it. They're always these elaborate treasure hunts that he'll set up for her to complete. Like for Valentine's Day--Gwen never stirs in her sleep, so he'll surround her sleeping form with lilacs and peonies all around on the bed so she can wake up basking in their scent. Then this gesture will be somehow tooled as the first clue in this elaborate scavenger hunt across several dimensions, each stop being a cute little romantic gesture like a lovely written note or souvenirs from their times together. He'll have like, puzzles that require playing music or reading scores to move forward in the hunt. And Gwen LOVES them. She likes adventures and the ones Miles orchestrates for her always involve her having to use her many talents. She kinda sees Miles' games as a sweet, fun way of staying sharp. ^_^

Miles will mindlessly rub his face against Gwen's cheek whenever when he greets her or bids her farewell after a long day. A lot of people find it a little strange lol, but know better than to judge Miles in front of Gwen. 

Ghostflower's petnames....so Miles sucks at pet names. He can't think of any good ones besides whatever he's heard his Mami say to Jeff (so just the usual "mi amor.") Mamita works for her too. But aside from that, all the typical English pet names (so like "honey," "sweetie," etc) just feel weird coming off his tongue, he thinks they're cringe and he hates saying them XD. Besides there's just something about how much he loves saying Gwen's name. He loves her name. It's like music to him. And every new time he says it makes his heart flutter more than the last. Gwen's pet names for Miles on the other hand are very... eherm...varied. Like she does use all the typical English pet names, but she'll also randomly spout some very creative names that have to do with situations they're in or objects she just saw or smth, I hope I'm explaining this right 😭 So for example, "my weighted blanket" (if they were just sleeping), or "cupcake brain," "coffee bean," "my bespeckled cheekster" or some other stupid thing she randomly comes up with on the spot XD. 

Gwen is big spoon but Miles will jump off a bridge if Hobie finds out

Lol in fact, a lot of how Gwen treats Miles (fluffy pet names, cuddling him) is stuff Miles never wants Hobie to see XD. So picture Miles melting into Gwen on the couch while she runs fingers through his hair, then Hobie walks in and Miles flings himself right out of Gwen's arms, sitting up straight and clearing his throat, "aherm, wh-whassup' man." And like, Hobie probably wouldn't even give a dang XD. But Miles feels the need to keep up this... intimidating "not some feeble gumdrop" reputation around certain spiders like Hobie, Miguel, and now Peter B, etc.

Gwen hates the heat, she always has to have the AC on or at least a fan in front of her. Sometimes both. But Miles is very sensitive to the cold. So this becomes a dilemma when they're in the same room. Then it breaks out into a back and forth "no it's okay, I can turn it off/No it's okay! I can just put on a jacket!" Eventually they'll reach a compromise: Gwen can have the AC, but she has to cuddle Miles close so he can keep warm. 

Miles likes to paint or draw on Gwen a LOT. Like it basically becomes the norm Gwen's their friends and family to see her walking around with what appears to be temporary "tattoos." Sometimes there'll be "Miles x Gwen" in graffiti-styled lettering on her shoulder, or little spider-man chibis with little speech bubbles, or a jumble of illustrations of places they've been to, lyrics from songs he likes, and just colorful geometry painted all around her arm like a tattoo sleeve, or sunflowers on her cheeks, or just random lines and shapes here and there on her knuckles, arms or jawline. Miles will paint on her whenever he has the chance, whether she's in conversation with a completely different person, or she's doing work, writing, eating-anything. She always lets him, she loves it. And when they're alone and he's drawing on her, they'll sit in a comfortable silence the whole time, it's very...entrancing for Gwen when they're alone in a quiet room and he's hardly making any noise while she feels markers and paintbrushes dancing across her skin.

Sonic Movie 3: It's Not About Shadow

I am probably going to catch hate anons for this, but I've promised a few different people that I'll post one. So, here's your spoiler warning for Sonic Movie 3, and also a warning that this is going to be Long.

Getting my personal feelings about this movie out of the way first- it feels like a dramatized AU someone wrote. It had fun moments, and it had scenes that were done very well! But even if I take a look at the movie from that perspective, ignoring the canon from the game it supposedly drew so much inspiration from, ignoring the games that came after and Shadow's canonical lore, the movie has plot holes in its own canon. My personal views are that the movie did Shadow's entire story and supporting cast wrong. The only good part about it was Maria's innocence, and even she had her story nuked. I'll get into that later.

Let's start where the movie does, with comparing Sonic and Shadow. Sonic states that he doesn't know where he'd be without his family, and the movie cuts to Shadow waking up from stasis. This is a part that I both really liked and at the same time feel iffy about.

The cinematic choice of doing a flashback to Maria playing the baseline of Live & Learn as Shadow wakes up was perfect. The song's message about learning from what happened and living on anyway was essential to Shadow's character arc in Sonic Adventure 2, essential to closing out a story in which a character that is always hunting the truth realizes that what he thought was the truth was actually a lie. The Sonic Adventure games' final boss themes, both Open Your Heart and Live & Learn felt like they were messages from Sonic to the respective characters of Chaos and Shadow. Chaos opened his heart and it was alright. Shadow may never find his way, but he lives and he learns.

At the same time, Sonic isn't that kind of character. He's a kind person that never opted for revenge until it was his only choice in the world, and even then he would never take that route. The movie addressed this in the end, but it drew a dynamic that just... isn't there. The comics, whether it was Archie's Sonic the Hedgehog both before the Sega Genesis Wave and after, or if it's IDW's Sonic the Hedgehog comics, have had multiple instances where other characters press Sonic to kill Eggman. They bring up the traumas he's gone through and the crimes Eggman has done, the fact that Eggman killed people- and Sonic always, without fail, says that there has to be another way. Not just Eggman, either- Sonic does this for everyone. Emerl. Shadow. Merlina. Silver. Metal Sonic. It's been beaten into our heads time and time again that Sonic doesn't take revenge.

Shadow escapes from Prison Island, and here's another beat that I actually really liked about the movie. Shadow moves like a speed skater. I've had my issues with the updated way Shadow skates and how cartoony it is, and usually when I play the other games I preferentially look for mods that make Shadow skate like he did in SA2 because the little scoot scoot is so silly. SA2's animation looked fluid and natural in comparison.

Skipping ahead a little bit, another beat that was on-point for Shadow's characterization was when Sonic's team and Shadow meet for the first time. Shadow doesn't attack until he is pushed. That's not who he is. He just wants to be left alone and to process for a minute.

That is accurate. Without a driving force (Maria's promise, Rouge hunting for treasure, Eggman messing around with Emerl, the Black Arms invasion), Shadow spent his first few games just trying to process. We like to make fun of him and call it brooding, but when he's standing there with his arms crossed he's thinking. When Shadow gets a moment of peace- on board the ARK after saving Rouge, on the ship up to the ARK with Sonic- Shadow is going through the information in his mind and trying to make sense of it. He won't take an attack lying down, but he isn't going to just beat someone up for standing there.

And that's where Sonic Movie 3 stops feeling like it cares about Shadow as a character or his dynamic with Sonic. To explain that, I have to talk about Gerald Robotnik and Maria.

Stepping back for a moment, I spoke with someone who did not know the "deep" lore or anything really about the characters' backstory. They loved the movie and said it was enjoyable, and I agree that it was enjoyable. There were a lot of funny ha ha moments and witty lines. They also said that they agreed with my complains, but it didn't affect them as much because they weren't a die-hard Sonic fan.

I have a problem with that statement.

I try to avoid using the term "ableist" as much as possible, since I am not physically disabled and have no claims outside of mental health problems, but the simple truth is that the movie erased Maria's illness. Maria Robotnik was terminally ill. That's why Shadow was created in the first place. He wasn't a government project or an alien from space, he was something created as a medical cure.

This isn't something small in part for Shadow's backstory, it's a major point to his character. It's as major a part for Shadow as it is for Amy to admire Sonic, or for Knuckles to protect the Master Emerald. It's part of the entire plot of Sonic Adventure 2. Shadow would do anything for Maria, and her dying wish is his driving force in the subsequent games. He fully believes that the reason he has to destroy the planet is because Maria wished it. The only reason he stops the ARK from crashing into the planet is because the truth is that Maria didn't wish for that.

Sonic Movie 3 erases that critical aspect of Maria, of her being so kind that she would sacrifice herself for the sake of the very thing that was supposed to save her. It erases her disability. And it erases her dying wish. She just dies.

(By the way, you can find most of this out from the Wiki pages. I don't feel like this is about me being a die-hard Sonic fan so much as it is that the creators of the movie made a conscious choice to remove these critical aspects in favor of Ivo's story. You could argue that Sonic has also had many, many different versions of his backstory, including the one that movieverse has, but I will also reply to you that not in the universe in which Sonic was a ghostly force of good erased the presence of someone's disability.)

The lack of Maria's wish would normally be interesting to me, since Shadow now would have no direction to go off of, but the distinct shift in Gerald's character and the alteration of Shadow's backstory had me struggling throughout the movie. There's nothing of Gerald's original character present. The only similarities between Gerald Robotnik from the games and the Gerald Robotnik in the movie are the name and the fact that he was a scientist.

I know, Ivo is also very different from game Ivo. Like Sonic, we've had many different iterations of Eggman. The old Eggman from SaTAM and Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog was called Julian Robotnik, or even just "Doctor Robotnik." There was even a period in the old Archie comics where Eggman died (issue #50) and had to be replaced with a Julian from another universe for the sake of balance. A lot of the changes over the years were due to either lawsuits (thanks, Penders) or continuity problems, but the comics generally tried to follow the game canon.

But, again, the movie's directors were trying to follow Sonic Adventure 2, so we have to take a deeper look at who Gerald was. And Gerald wasn't kooky from the get-go, nor was he kooky when he was hell-bent on revenge.

Gerald Robotnik wanted to help mankind. He was one of the greatest scientists known, which was why he was asked to lead Project Shadow, a project to discover means to immortality. He wanted to use this as an opportunity to cure Maria. His first attempt produced the Biolizard. He managed to make Shadow after the intervention of Black Doom offering his own DNA. He realized his mistake and recorded a video of himself to eventually help Shadow when the Black Arms came back, but he was always trying to help mankind. He even gave Shadow a "heart" and a "soul" modeled after Maria's in hopes that Shadow would never become a tool for mass destruction. It was Maria's death that changed his personality from a kind old man to bitter and vengeful. He even says in his diary that losing control of his mind scared him.

Movie Gerald is just Movie Ivo, but older. He's insane from the get-go. The man is shallow and emotionally manipulative, playing as a kind of Deadpool-like character as the actor makes blatant references to the fourth wall. We get no explanation of his relationship with Maria other than he "brings her everywhere" and him telling Ivo that he is "no Maria." The subtleties of how he went insane are lost and his brilliancy in creating life is thrown to the wind in favor of the script just telling us that he's smart and that he supposedly loved Maria so much he wants to destroy the world.

There's no Space Colony ARK- that Gerald designed- with the Eclipse Cannon that was designed to destroy the Black Comet. There's no Black Arms or illness at all in the movie- Shadow is just a creature from a "black comet" and the term "the Ultimate Lifeform" is just a throwaway comment. Gerald's devotion and brilliancy is undermined in favor of cheap jokes and a frankly really strange montage between an actor and himself.

Once again, Maria's character- and Shadow's backstory- are reduced. We get more time going into Ivo's feelings than we do about any of the nuance that was in the original work.

Which leads me to the title of this rant: Sonic Movie 3 was not about Shadow the Hedgehog, it was about Ivo Robotnik.

We've been watching Ivo's journey from movie 1. Ivo is working for the government as a brilliant man, but everyone else sees him as a "dumpster fire." He's crazy, he's got no respect for others, and he has a sidekick that he doesn't really treat as a person but still somehow has a very sexually tense relationship with.

(I don't care what you say, nobody straight pins themself to a wall with a gasp like Stone does.)

Ivo outright states that he got bullied in school. Nobody likes him, so he lashes out at the world. With no one to talk to at the end of the movie, he starts descending into madness, where he's at with movie 2. Neato, they gave his mustache a backstory. He's back purely for revenge in movie 2, because he's lost his home and his position now too. We start movie 3 with Ivo's paunch having backstory, because he's fallen into a depressive state. He has no money, no power, no fame, and all of one person that hasn't left his side, and on top of that, the cause of his downfall shows up in the one place he can stay, which has to have caused him no end of emotional rollercoasters.

The movie then leads us on a story beat for Ivo. Someone wants his technology, someone thinks it's useful. (Hang in there, Stone.) It's been stated multiple times over the past few movies that Ivo has no family, which makes the appearance of his grandfather a pretty poignant moment for him.

Or. It would be. If it wasn't so weirdly done. I know, I know, I'm harping on a movie made for kids. But they could have made it fun while keeping the intricacies, and for all the hype, I personally was disappointed.

Again, this removes a lot of Eggman's canon dynamics with his family. In Sonic Frontiers, Eggman's diary entries talk about how he felt about his grandfather and how he never knew his cousin Maria. Sonic Adventure 2's Eggman states that he used to look up to his grandfather, and his plan for the ARK and Project Shadow just made Gerald look even more brilliant to Eggman. He is canonically attention-starved from his own family.

After a montage of Ivo finally having a grandfather, someone who needs his genius and thinks he is smart, we see a story beat about a neglected person realizing their true friend was right beside them all along. Stone doesn't give up on him the entire movie even though Ivo throws him aside because his grandfather could do him no wrong. Then at the end he realizes how insane Gerald is, that he doesn't want the planet destroyed- which is canon to SA2- and chooses to save it, even if it costs him his life.

This is more set up than the entirety of Shadow's story. The actor's dynamic with himself is focused on quite a bit, and with the additional phenomenal sad puppy eyes of Agent Stone's actor we have the kicked aside supporting cast we need. Of all the character "deaths" in the movie, Ivo is also the only one mourned for.

I'm bitter about that. But my personal feelings are another rant.

This is why Sonic Movie 3 is not an adaptation of Sonic Adventure 2. It is not a story about Shadow, or a way to set him up as a man-made powerhouse to contrast against Sonic's force of nature. It's a story about the Ivo Robotnik of the movieverse and his emotional journey with family.

There's so much more I want to say. I want to complain about how they only used Live & Learn for about five seconds, about how the stars twinkled on the moon, about Shadow not being mourned at the end despite the unskippable cutscene after the Finalhazard fight in SA2, about Tails the sweet 8 year old child cheering as an old man gets launched into what's basically a nuclear reactor-

But that's another rant, and if you've made it this far you're probably tired of reading for the minute. I'm doing my best not to bash the movie as it is.

All in all, I am glad I went to see it. But it is not Sonic Adventure 2. And I'm currently coping by envisioning it as a dramatized AU.

So she left, but I don't think she's going to leave Daryl behind just like that. He's all she has, and Daryl's "friendship" is the only stability she's ever known. I believe their it will happen gradually , probably starting during their time on the farm. In the first days, she and Daryl are both busy looking for Sophia—there's no time for buddies talks, and things don't seem to have changed between them. But as the days pass, she can't help but notice how much finding Sophia means to him, and she just doesn’t understand it. From her perspective, that girl is probably dead, and Daryl is risking his life for nothing. Yet, she keeps her thoughts to herself bc she knows better than arguing with him.

Their first real argument happens when Andrea mistakenly shoots him. She's furious—Daryl could have been killed, and it feels like no one else truly cares. She was the only one who went out looking for him, she is the only one who gives a damn about him. She confronts him and they end up yelling at each other, both too stubborn to back down.

Things don’t change much, she's still keeping her distance from everyone and Daryl is still trying to prove himself worth it, until Sophia is found, already turned into a walker in the barn. The entire situation leaves Daryl angry and disillusioned with everyone, with himself. He retreats to what he knows—her—but it no longer feels the same. There’s a discomfort, a sense that Daryl no longer belongs by her side, maybe he never did, and it bothers her.

Their distance grows when Daryl starts to bond with Carol. Is she jealous? YES ABSOLUTELY, but not in a possessive way—more in the sense that Carol is actually good for him unlike her, and he seems happier around these people, more like his true self the boy Merle had made fun of for being"too soft". As his connections with the group strengthen, the gap between them widens—though it's more that she distances herself from him than the other way around but she can't see it that way because in her head Daryl walked away first.

After the farm burns down, when they’re camping with the group, she overhears Carol asking Daryl to leave with her and separate from the group. For a moment, she wants to say something, because who is she to think she can just take Daryl away like he's some lucky charm? But Daryl’s refusal to leave stops her, though the feeling stays with her making her feeling of dislike for those people deepen, they were all so willing to leave, to give up, weak bunch of pussies. They knew nothing of loyalty. Not like her and Daryl did.

Idk about her time at the prison, she would probably just cooperate with what has to be done and then mind her business. Her and Daryl would have a lot more time together outside, hunting or scavenging. She finally was able to hear him talk about the group, didn't male things right because the more he talked the bigger the differences she found in the way they saw the world. Daryl was trying to hold back someone that was already at the door.

Ultimately, I think she would leave after Merle’s death. She realizes that if Daryl is happy and has chosen to stay with these people, she wouldn’t be the one to take away his chance of having a family, not after Merle had given his life away trying to make things right for his brother.

In some ways RT Sonic can be scarier than ToC Shadow-though that hedgehog is definitely terrifying! I still remember feeling scared for Sonic as I read the first couple of chapters, even though I know he'd be alright. However, what makes RT Sonic terrifying isn't by being a twisted and brutal pirate, nor is it by being bloodthirsty or cruel, because he's not a malicious, brutal and bloodthirsty pirate. It's the fact that you don't ever expect him to be so fierce and angry. And when he is, you know somebody messed up.

You ever heard of the expression "Fear the wrath or anger of a gentle/kind man." That's because their temper can be wild and uncontrollable when provoked. Sonic is kind and gentle, but the minute you say something awful or do something terrible to him or one of his pack, you'd better run and hide and pray he doesn't smell you out!

And the fear you or the characters may feel when they see him like this. It is partly because they can't help but feel scared of him when he's like this, but... They're more afraid FOR him than of him.

A Heartwarming Speech:

A very exhausted blue hedgehog says his piece at the end of their first journey.

Sonic: (looking around at the people on his ship): "I love you guys." (Looks at his crew as he's saying this) "I really do." (Looks at Tom and Maddie before turning to Shadow). "And I love you Shadow. (He presses his forehead against Shadow's who! Reciprocates the gesture.) "I love you so much."

(Then he turns to Shadow's crew) "I know I left a very sour impression on you guys when we first met, but I'm glad Shadow has you people watching out for him... (Proceeds to wag a shaky finger at them) "And I know that after I get to know you guys a little bit better, I would have learned to love you too... Especially you."

(Points at Leven) "I don't what it is about you... But you have a very sweet face." (Proceeds to pass out from exhaustion. Shadow is still holding him up though).

(Shadow's crew just stare, looking both incredibly perplexed and oddly touched. Meanwhile Leven has a paw over his face as he tries to hide his blush).

Gray: "I'm confused Cap... Aren't we supposed to be hating this guy?"

Shadow: "Don't bother Gray, you'd be fighting a losing battle."

Heritage of the Werewolf:

Maybe you could do a scene similar to the "Heritage of the Wolf" scene from the 1995 animated film "Balto." In which Sonic finally accepts himself for who he is.

A Twisted Pirate..?

Twisted is probably the wrong word. Sonic isn't twisted in the sense that he enjoys playing sick games or testing people. But... Sometimes he'll say or do something that will make you question his sanity. Some remarks are light-hearted and funny... Others can be concerning.

Example:

1)Knuckles: "What do you think would happen after you kidnapped him?"

Sonic: Borrowed Knuckles! Borrowed! You know when you take something or someone with the intention of giving them back!!!

2)Sonic: "I'm just saying if you're gonna take a guy against his will, you might as well be polite to him."

Knuckles: "...You're insane right?"

Sonic:"I'm just saying basic manners don't hurt."

Knuckles: (facepalm) "Oh my sweet Chaos..."

3)(After Shadow and Sonic make their deal )

Shadow: "Just so you know when this is over and done with I am coming after you personally Hedgehog! I'll see to it that you're swinging by a noose." 😡😡😤😤

Sonic: Perfect! Let's go!" 😄😄😁😁

Shadow: 😕😕😳😳 ... Wtf..?

A Captain and his Queen:

ToC Shadow and Rouge: The two argue and bicker occasionally and can have moments where they are antagonistic (though that's really Shadow's fault because of his attitude) and yes, she'll take advantage of the favors he owes her to get what she wants. However they do genuinely care for each other. When Rouge teases him, its without malice and it's all in good fun. And when Shadow learned that The Black Arms had found her and had attempted to hurt her, he agrees to take Sonic and go hunting for The Chaos Emeralds.

RT Sonic and Maddie Wachowski: Their relationship would be like how it is in the films. Sonic would view her as a surrogate mother figure though he wouldn't admit it out loud out of fear that he's betraying his mother's memory. (But Maddie knows this because she's got the intuition). Sonic is very protective of her and even in moments where he might snap at her out of frustration he would immediately apologize to her.

I think she'd also try her best in keeping him grounded. Make sure he doesn't go overboard.

Maddie: "Remember Sonic, you got to let him come to you first."

Sonic: "Okay I can do that."

Maddie: "And don't go overcorrecting your mistakes."

Sonic: "What!? Since when do I do that."

Maddie: "Remember when_____ happened? And you felt so bad you made me cake?

Sonic: "What was wrong with the cake?"

Maddie: "I didn't need a giant eight-layered cake Sonic!"

Sonic: "You deserved all eight layers!"

Maybe Tom could be an Animagus. A dog would appropriate I think. Either a golden retriever or a German shepherd.

There's a headcannon in some fanfiction about Shadow loving art and he sometimes draws and paints as a hobby. He could still do that but also maybe Thiosa has a book or journal of the creatures she's hunted with pictures she drew. Like what Arthur Spiderwick did in "The Spiderwick Chronicles" or The Grimms from the show "Grimm." Maybe she was hoping to give that to Shadow one day so he'd be safe.

Okay, okay this is probably too much. You're gonna say "Sparks my friend this TOO MUCH, I can't do this to my character." But hear me out.

...What if Thiosa had an arc similar to Movie!Shadow's arc in "Sonic the Hedgehog 3." Thiosa lost a lot to evil creatures of the night and Black Doom almost broke her. Because of this, she never discriminated between which creatures were bad and which creatures were good.

...So... She hurts Sonic... And shoots him with a silver bullet..!

I know this is too much. Not to mention Shadow deserves to have a parent who would never manipulate or hurt him or someone he loves!

After witnessing Shadow's heartbreak, concern and doubt fills her mind and her heart, but she tries to convince herself that she did the right thing. Also someone could've manipulated her.

Despite fighting for his life, Sonic encourages Shadow to forgive and help Thiosa as he knows how broken she is and that she had been afraid when she shot him. Shadow however is resistant to this as he fears he's losing the one person who's helped him find peace since Maria.

Eventually Shadow and Thiosa make peace with each other (though Shadow still hasn't fully forgiven her). After everything is said and done and Sonic predictably recovers, he gives Thiosa his forgiveness which shocks the remorseful tenrec. Eventually she has to leave though she does promise to check in on Shadow now and then.

Sonic is still uncomfortable around her though he tries to push this away for Shadow's sake. Having had lost his own mother a long time ago, he wants Shadow to have a family. But Shadow simply says this:

"I have a family Sonic. I have Rouge, Omega, Leven, Grey, Scaro, and Jorah. And now I have you, your crew, and The Wachowski's. I am happy. Maybe one day I can fully forgive Thiosa. But right now your safety and comfort are my priorities."

And who knows... She may return one day.

my friend, at this point you should just start writing this as a story lol. You've added and theorized literal chapters of how you think Reverse Tides will go and I fear that it is more in-depth than I plan to make it. (again that's IF I write it)

Do not get me wrong I love your theories and ideas! But I don't want people to think that this is how the story is going to play out when it's going to very much differ from Turning Tides. It'll start the same but that's really the only thing that ties the two stories together.

Because it's super fun to try and think of how a roleswap will change the characters compared to the first story. But where's the fun in that when I can change the story and truly make it it's own thing. like for an example; Maria is going to be in the story a lot more than in Tides and in a very interesting way. (that's all you get no more spoilers XP)

I just want to premise that i enjoy your theories. but I also want to be transparent that some of this might be added or not. Thank you again for the wonderful theories.

I'm curious if the mother of Arlong's daughter is still alive... It's necessarily that I want her and her daughter to meet, but it is something I wonder about.... What was her life like before she met Arlong? Why did Arlong take an interest in her? If she's alive, what would she be doing now?

I like the mystery surrounding it, and part of me thinks it's better with the mystery surrounding it, perhaps with some hints, but I also have the very strong urge to ask.

I know I could just simply ask, and it is likely that I would get an answer (even if I don't, it's not something I'll ever get upset about). I'm also aware that I won't be the only one who's curious...

It's not that I condone the woman's act of abandoning her baby, but I understand (I'm not gonna agree nor disagree with her decision)

If she were to take her baby with her, she could have become a big target. Arlong could have hunted her down if she had taken the baby with her (probably could have done that regardless, but he was preoccupied with the baby). She could have been dragged back to her situation. It could have slowed down her escape, plus she would be carrying a reminder of what Arlong had put her through.

The extremely stressful circumstances she was in could have pushed her to things that she wouldn't have done in normal circumstances (Idk her)

She is still alive and has since gone back to her home country of Wano. Before her encounter with Arlong, she traveled solo and made a living for herself as a bandit. She was always a very feisty woman with a wicked streak a mile wide. She took advantage of the fact that people would underestimate her purely because she's a woman to get their guard down and then rob them blind. When she wasn't doing that, she could be a very fun and boisterous person.

She met Arlong because she was trying to rob him. Despite how visibly put off he was by her mere presence, she persisted and continued trying to get him to loosen up enough that she could swipe his wallet and dip.

Arlong, meanwhile, was having an internal crisis. Her personality type is extremely attractive to him, but she's a human and he absolutely hates that he's experiencing attraction towards her. Then she did actually succeed in stealing his wallet and he was seething over how hot he thought that was.

They happen to run into each other again after that, and Arlong says fuck it and tries to shoot his shot with her. Maybe he'll be able to get over the whole human thing eventually. But, she rejects him. She wasn't looking for a relationship at the time and just wasn't feeling any sort of attraction toward him.

Arlong lost his shit. How dare this human think that she's too good for him? She should be grateful that a fishman like him would even think about being with her. He follows and abducts her shortly after that and then proceeds to keep her captive for almost a year before she escapes.

Presently, she's gone back to old roots. She's still a bandit, but she just bounces around Wano instead of all over the Grand Line like she used to. Every time she saw so much as a ripple in the water when she was going back home, she thought that Arlong was about to lunge out and take her again. She hates being around large bodies of water and avoids them like a plague. She's also part of a group of bandits now. After what happened, she can see the value of traveling in numbers. Maybe she never would have been taken away if she hadn't been alone and therefore an easier target.

She's a lot more withdrawn and quiet after everything that happened. She never quite got back her old personality.

What she had done with Umi didn't fully sink in until she was long gone. Her mind had been in survival mode for around a year by that point, and then giving birth to a baby she didn't even realize she was carrying left her in a very dazed, trance-like state. She was in shock and wasn't processing anything beyond getting away from Arlong.

In hindsight, she does feel a bit of remorse over essentially using a baby as a diversion so she could escape. She knows that she never would have been able to go through with raising her, but she does regret not trying to at least get her to an orphanage so she wouldn't have been left to Arlong.

Years later when Umi is making a life for herself with the Straw Hats, her mother sees a wanted poster of her and is able to recognize her. After the initial discomfort of seeing such a grim reminder, there is a tingle of pride. She's happy for Umi that she didn't turn out like Arlong, doubly so once she realizes that she even assisted in his defeat. She still has no intention of getting in touch, but it is some weight off her mind to know that Umi is doing well. If they ever did happen to cross paths, her mother wouldn't let on to who she is.

"we are going to have to call her Dean" Sam says as he's looking through all the books they currently had to try to help their current situation in any way they could.

Dean glares at him from across the table in the main room and shakes his head. "No absolutely not"

Sam just shakes his head at his brothers stubbornness and goes back to reading the book he was currently on. But even after hours of doing research his own eyes had started to hurt so he decided to take a break. "I'm not getting anything. There's nothing we might have to Dean. I know we don't trust her but its not the worst idea we have ever done"

The oldest brother sighs and stands up grabbing himself a drink. "Damnit. You know she's just going to come here and cause trouble right? Remember what happened last time she was around us?"

Both the brothers recall exactly what had happened last time Rowena was around the four of you. Rowena had been giving you looks from across the room and eventually that turned into you coming over and flirting with her. Having no shame in your game what so ever.

You were one of their best friends growing up as you were also raised in the hunting business. This resulted in you guys being around each other a lot but also away so as the years went on Dean had taught you how to flirt and pick of women or men. While you and Sam had flirted a lot throughout the years he fell in love with Jess and nothing ever happened between the two of you which the both of you were fine with you two were close friends.

However they both had grown protective over you and so seeing you flirting with the enemy was a BIG no for them. "Okay so maybe we just keep them two separate from each other" Dean says and Sam nods.

Its to late though because you had heard the last sentence as you walked downstairs. You were about to pick up some groceries when you overheard them talking. "Who are you keeping separate from each other?"

Dean takes a drink out of his glass leaving it up to his brother to take over. "We are having a few people come by to help us with this case since none of us have been able to figure anything to solve it and two of them don't like each other"

Now did you believe what Sam was saying. No. His voice was coming off very matter of fact and when he is speaking truth he doesn't have to seem so convincing. However you choose to ignore it and just nod. "Okay well you two have fun with these friends of yours. I'm going to the store anything you guys want while I'm there?"

You grab a jacket of yours and put it on since its been cold recently with the Christmas weather around the corner. Before you walk out the door you hear the both of them yell out what they want. "Pie, Fruits and vegetables"

"okay if I'm not back after an hour I'm dead" They both glare at you when you say that causing you to laugh and walk out.

As soon as they hear your car start and pull out the drive way is when Sam pulls out his phone. "I cant believe we are actually asking her for help" Dean grumbles like a child and Sam rolls his eyes as he presses the contact and it rings.

"hello boys" Rowena's voice comes through the speaker. "screw something up already?" She teased but was completely serious. Which resulted in Dean speaking "No we haven't. But Sam here thinks we need your help"

Dean not having much manners doesn't hide the fact he is unhappy with this arrangement. So Sam speaks "Rowena we need your help. Will you help us we cant find anything in the books or we wouldn't have called"

There is silence through the other end for a moment before she speaks. "well I hate to be one of these people but what's in it for me?"

The brothers look at each other for a moment "world peace should be good enough of a reward"

She laughs "oh please where is the fun in that. I guess we will just have to figure something out then hm." There's a pause for a moment "is the pretty boy there?"

They can hear the smile forming on her face and they sigh as Sam speaks "He went out. You might miss him if you don't come over now"

A beep is the only thing they here in response. They think she had chosen not to but when footsteps are heard across the wood floor they see her. Her red hair curled and falling down her shoulders nicely. She had also put on a nice outfit and they knew exactly who she was trying to impress.

Dean walks up to her glaring at her. "listen if you even think about flirting with him or even Looking at him with those eyes of yours ill kill you"

She smirks and places her hand on his shoulder. "oh Dean I'm not intimidated by you. I'm here to help you show me what you need me to do"

Sam brings her to all the things they had been researching and she nods and they get ingredients all out before she begins to slowly use her witchcraft. Making sure to do this correctly.

About an hour goes by and she's still there and you walk in through the door. "okay boys I've got everything for Sam's healthy smoothies cause he's a freak and Deans pie"

You look up and see the both of them looking at you "what?"

"Well took you long enough. I was beginning to think I would have to stall for even longer" You turn your head to look at Rowena and a small smile forms on your lips. "hello gorgeous sorry for keeping you waiting"

Sam grabs the bags from you and puts things away but not before telling the both of you to stop flirting. "well Sam if you and Dean don't want to watch us flirt I suggest you both remove yourselves from the room"

This causes the both of them to roll their eyes and they both leave and go to the kitchen. They knew that you liked her but you also wouldn't let her screw anything up for them. So as soon as they left the room you walk behind Rowena and look at what she's doing. "what are you doing with all these ingredients?"

She rests against you a little as if her body couldn't help but gravitate towards yours. "well watch and ill teach you a little something" A smile forms on your face as you place your chin on her shoulder lightly. "yes ma'am you have my full attention"

You could have sworn you seen her cheeks turn red but she chose to not draw attention to it. She began to show you slowly how to do simple things. She left out some of the steps because she didn't need you to know everything. If you wanted to learn how to do witchcraft she would teach you simple things first.

As she explained some of the steps to you. You listened to her words and after a while you were wondering why the boys weren't in here yet but you had a good idea of who is stopping them from being able to and she's right here with you.

Even when you knew she was trying to focus on the task at hand you couldn't help but want to get a reaction from her so you began to kiss her shoulder and to her neck and as you did you felt her relax and try to continue to work.

However when you got to her collarbone she leaned back and brought her hand to turn your face to look at her. "As much as this is amazing. I've got to finish this and what if Sam and Dean see you kissing me like this?"

Your response was shrugging your shoulders. "well they wouldn't be able to say anything. If i want you im gonna be with you" This results in her placing a quick kiss to your lips. Then you speak again "plus Sam was into a demon at one point in time and we are all pretty sure Dean had a thing for a vampire named Benny and now hes with an angel so"

She laughs and nods "okay well then you still need to back up so i can focus on this and not you" You nod and back away and go to the kitchen and let the both of them out.

When the three of you walk back to the room Rowena is finished with her work and walks over and hands it to Dean. "here now I believe you said there was something in it for me"

"what do you want and don't say what I think you are" He tries to sound stern but when she looks at you he sighs and Sam crosses his arms. "it might be a little to late for your opinions boys"

They give her a questioning look as she walks over to you and pulls you into a kiss and your hands go to her waist leaning into it and before you could stop her she magically takes her back to her home and then un connects your lips

The night is filled with her teaching you a little about witchcraft then movies and dinner. You knew she would let you leave at any time but tonight it was the last thing you wanted to do.

The boys back at the bunker both look at each other and try to grab onto you so you didn't go with her but they were to late. They weren't really worried about her keeping you hostage because even if they hated the fact...they knew she really did like you.

"oh come on!" Dean yells and Sam just laughs a little

Wolf Jackson the movie star:

◦ Has MAJOR former theatre kid vibes, like he totally had a Hamilton phase and watched Cats ATLEAST once just to make fun of it, but he ended up secretly kinda liking the songs from it.

◦ Wont admit to even HAVING a favourite superhero, but it’s totally Spider Noir

◦ Says he mains someone like Snake in smash, but he actually mains Isabelle, jigglepuff, or The duck hunt dog and he somehow wins EVERY TIME HE PLAYS SMASH because he’s good at spam pressing buttons.

◦ Good at claw machines for some reason. A strange hidden talent, but he probs brags about it every chance he gets (which isn’t often but still)

◦ Everyone thinks/assumes he’s straight and probs bangin his secretary/the girl who brings him coffee (idk if she’s actually his secretary) but then he’ll casually insert “my boyfriend” or “this guy I’m seeing” into a conversation and the whole room is shocked.

◦ Knuckle cracker.

◦ When he’s sad infront of other people he hides his emotions and says he’s fine, but when he’s sad at home alone, he curls up with a bunch of blankets and binge watches all the movies he stared in when he was alive. Only his secretary(?) knows this.

in the hot for teacher verse do you have a desc doc for what you think the rat grinders look all human? :)

i don't have a specific doc for it because the first chapter was truly just vibes and i didn't expect to be writing more about them, but i do have some ideas in mind! the humanoids are pretty generally the same so for fun i'll give you some facts about all of them in the verse as well! putting this under the cut because it got quite long.

oisin: i was originally picturing him as black w locs, skinny teen who beefed up over the previous summer (lowkey wendell from nsbu before wendell existed) but i was mulling it over earlier and i actually really love the idea of samoan oisin?? he comes back from visiting his family over the summer and has gained so much muscle and fat and got some pe'a and everyone thinks he's so cool for it. he's got long hair that is usually up in a bun. probably also shoots up to 6'2, 6'3".

he's into manga. people who don't know him think he's really intimidating but he's the sweetest guy ever. ivy brings out the bitch in him lbr but for the most part he's just a really buff nerd. am i just describing ify nwadiwe. i swear it's not intentional.

ivy: i don't have a specific race for her but described her in got it bad as olive-skinned, brown hair with blonde highlights. i think she gets the chunky bleach highlights that were popular in like 2020-21. oisin is definitely the tallest of all of them, lucy the tallest of the girls, but ivy's probably second/third-tallest at around 5'8, 5'9.

she runs an anonymous aguefort confessions blog and has a viral tiktok account that mainly went viral as a result of the jace (and porter) videos. jace always says she's gotta quit with the gossip but will still ask her about it he's the worst enabler. she does archery and rides horses at aguefort! she transferred in middle school and everyone was very intrigued by her because she's british. they kept asking her if she's met the queen. she just started saying yes eventually.

lucy: since i made porter a white southern guy lucy is also white and southern by default. i think that she doesn't have the accent her uncle has because her dad married a new englander, so instead she's got this southern/new england mix that leaves her pronouncing certain words very oddly. she still has vitiligo--instead of gray hair she's got light brown with patches of white, and maybe a port wine stain on her face. she's about 5'11" - both of her parents are very tall so she inherited her height from them.

she got bullied pretty badly in elementary school and middle school. she is very sensitive and cries with basically every emotion so it can be hard to determine why she's actually crying if it's not obvious. she's not good at standing up for herself but her friends will hunt a bitch down for her. she will cry if you kill a bug instead of letting it outside. grew up knowing porter's best friend jace bc he gets brought to all the family events and was very grateful when he didn't make anyone call him mr stardiamond when they started his class because that would've been a weird switch to make.

mary ann: shortest one of the group at just around 5 feet. black, box braids with little charms on the ends, braces. her favorite outfit is overalls and her pink hoodie that she's been wearing for years on end because it's been washed so many times it's the perfect texture. between her height, her clothes, and being quiet and autistic, she gets infantilized a ton and she hates it so she will sometimes overcompensate by making dirty jokes at inappropriate times.

she's usually of the mindset that if someone isn't speaking directly to her or talking about something she's interested in she probably doesn't really need to join in the conversation. she was one of those toddlers who didn't speak until she could say a full sentence. she's the first girl on the football team--nobody thinks that she's gonna be any good but she's small enough that she just kind of darts between all the players and can hold her own more than people think.

buddy: truly just the same. sorry buddy i have nothing special for you. he's like 5'7". his grandpa runs the town's megachurch and he keeps trying to get everyone to come with him. he sort of latched onto their group but he genuinely is nice he's just also brainwashed so they haven't like actively tried to kick him out. i think that after spending enough time with them all he gets more chill especially because they call him out when he says something outright fucked up and he likes being friends with them so he wants to not offend them--it's just that he genuinely doesn't think he's saying anything wrong.

kipperlilly: also looks relatively the same but slightly taller, probably like 5'3". she and jace bond over having the same clothing organization app. she doesn't wear the prep-school kind of stuff she wears in canon but it's definitely still very clean, she probably irons everything. type a but not as much Like That.

jawbone realizes the conflict of interest when she starts talking about her anger issues and hating the others and actually has a parent teacher conference to recommend external therapy. can often be found with her journal after that. she and riz are in competition to see how many more ap credits they can gain than each other. rarely seen without lucy by her side. they have a homoerotic relationship for years because neither of them realize that they're more than girl best friends (and lucy's uncle porter always has his best friend everywhere, that's how adults are!)

ruben: i'm thinking he's maybe mixed, black and hispanic? he's got frizzy curls because he's much more invested in writing songs on his ukulele than paying attention to the right products for his curl pattern. he also has braces and mourns when his tooth gap closes because he can't whistle as well. 5'4".

he thinks it's the coolest thing to have his uncle work at the school and he and lucy bond over it even though he doesn't actually take his uncle henry's classes. he's part of the school band and plays in the orchestra for the theatre department - in addition to the ukulele he also plays acoustic guitar and piano.

6. which ship fans are the most annoying?

I'm just gonna come right out and say it: hardcore Andriel fans.

Wait! Don't come for me just yet.

Fandom is a place where we can all take these fantastic, fictional Barbie dolls and do with them what we will. It's a place where we can have fun and explore alternate interpretations of and twists on the source material. So, when I see someone who is Andriel-or-bust with the ship, I'm wary about what I say. Let Kevin hook up with Andrew pre-Neil. Let Neil and Jean kiss. Let them both fall in love or lust a hundred times over with a dozen different characters. I love Andriel as a ship, truly I do, but Nora has written their story. Sure, putting a spin on it is fun, but their canon status in the source material doesn't mean we can't have fun in our sandbox. Saying that Andrew and Neil are meant for one another and can never be with anyone else simply doesn't make sense.

It may be because I'm a veteran of internet fandom spaces, but I long for the days of 'ship and let ship.' 12. the unpopular character you actually like and why more people should like him

Riko Moriyama.

The narrative foil he poses to Neil in the series is utterly delicious. Is he a heinous little bastard who fueled his own destruction at every turn while also unforgivably harming those around him? Absolutely. And you know what? He's a damn good antagonist.

The way he makes fans angry, makes them hate him, makes them wish for a worse death than the one he got... That's the point. He's what Neil would have been if Mary hadn't stolen him. No, moreso, what he would have been if Nathan hadn't tried to sell him. I have very little doubt that Nathan would have murdered Mary somewhere in the timeline even if they'd never run. If Neil had been raised by Nathan alone (with additional influence from Lola), well... You'd get Riko.

Riko's shock value is entirely intentional on Nora's part, and she does an excellent job with him. I find him utterly fascinating. I want to put him under a microscope and study each one of his atoms to find out what makes him tic. The fact that he's so quickly dismissed by the fandom due to the actions which make him so compelling is, to me, an absolute shame. 25. common fandom complaint that you're sick of hearing

- He is the fastest of the group as his frame is built for speed. Top speed is 80km/h without rockets engaged

- He has wheelies in his feet and likes to scoot around on them

- He likes dinosaurs and likes finding fossils and wants to find a new dinosaur to name titan cameramansaurus

- Hubble likes to keep active and runs in the morning and evening parkour style for fun and also paces because zoomies

- He has the best vision up to 1000 meters but also sometimes zooms in too much

Medic

- She has no hobbies as she devoted everything to her studies and has finally realized that… so she is learning hobbies from others

- She likes to read trashy romance novels as she dreams of her maybe future partner

- Medic is super afraid of the ocean despite the fact she can’t drown

- she gets cold easily so she always is wearing her big puffy jacket

- she is a very neat and organized person and big on putting up weekly and daily agendas that she carefully makes to be colorful and bright like the outpost is a summer camp

Civic

- He has befriended the local wildlife and the buffalo have accepted him as one of their own

- Civic’s wardrobe is several pairs of the same outfit as he prefers comfort and likes what he likes

- He is the undisputed champion of rock paper scissors on base and has yet to be toppled

- Civic owns a modified forklift named « Bobby » that can move fast and has ac and cruise control. It is Civic’s darling

- Civic creates secret tunnels, bunkers, and hidden rooms in all his designs and hides them in blueprints. He gets a kick out of people discovering the additions and he fills them with prizes and treasure

Prattle and Tattle

- They hated each other when they first met but bonded over always being in trouble together

- Prattle can’t tie ties so Tattle made him a bow tie so he could be stylish in his own way

- Tattle has trouble with numbers and often waits on Prattle to do the math before saying anything

- Baseball is their favorite sport and they love to play

- The two want to retire and start a surf shop by the ocean and live a lazy life of beaches and wave. They have recruited Titan Cameraman to be the sand guardian, guardian of the sand whom Poseidon trembles before.

Fortissimo and Pianissimo

- They are incredibly mischievous and curious and have no sense of danger if something looks fun

- They keep a graveyard behind the outpost of all the accidental deaths that were probably their fault. They keep it neat and put flowers on the graves

- The twins are masters at opening doors and hacking, not by skill, but by brute, malware force.

- They like to play games and love being included in all activities. They always show up for everything and are willing to try new things

- They can detect agents and show a strong dislike for the admin. It has become a game for them to hunt agents if encountered. Why, is unclear. It is believed they just don’t like the color green…?

Tremolo

- Keeps multiple wallets in his jacket of all his adopted children to show to others. He knows every single one by heart and at least five embarrassing stories

- Tremolo has combined knives with various objects to create special weapons. The knife chancla is still his most emotionally damaging weapon

- He loves to to teach and take people under his wing. He has adopted the twins who adore him and he’s trying to adopt Prattle and Tattle. Any speaker he encounters there is an 90% of adoption

- Tremolo believes all his adopted family is immortal since he will never forget them

- Tremolo organizes sports teams on the outpost from basketball to baseball and football. Football is his favorite sport (real football, not that American one!)

Mr. Biggs

- He remembers everything about the Titan Speakerman but pretends to forget to not upset Tremolo

- He loves collecting stickers and fakes injuries so he can go to medical and get more from medical

- He doesn’t know or remember what a cat is and calls them every other animal

- Biggs has a habit of getting emotionally attached to objects and naming them but keeps forgetting the names

- Biggs has a tarantula that lives in his head that he doesn’t tell anyone about as he fears someone squashing her… he named her Fuzzy.

Paralipsis

- Has an incredible singing voice and is not afraid to show off at karaoke night

- Has many musicals memorized and if you start singing them, he will respond. Especially Les miserable as it is his personal favorite

- Paralipsis can use his screen to inflict high emotional distress on others. He has weaponized his moodiness and depression and uses it in tandem with words to get his way

- He actively chooses to be mean because he finds it entertaining and also because he hates being told what to do

- Paralipsis can perfectly mimic the Titan TVman voice and uses this talent to cuss out people who call the Outpost and act like they somehow contacted the tv base. Also leaves prank voicemail and phone messages

On your 80s Curse of Strahd campaign. Which character is the most drastically different from their canon counterpart, and what system did you use?

(ill save you the disappointment and rip the band-aid, im still fifth editions lil whipping Mspa Sprite, its easy and it serves the purposes of what i want from it.)

SO! a lot of the name characters have been mostly rewritten from what they were like from the original game-

Strahd: big lord of barovia. i wanted him to Feel Bored. the idea is that every time you play curse of strahd, strahd remembers it. every humiliating defeat, every overwhelming crushing victory, every time your character decided they could fix him- he has gone through it all in an ad-nauseam repeating loop that has slowly ripped him mind apart and then pieced it back together piece mail. to the point where in this specific loop, in which time has been allowed to advance to a point where it resembles 80s Americana- he welcomes the players eagerly, awaiting the hunt. death for him has become a welcomed sign for rest in a moment of true oblivion. he also became a rock star and completely shed the vestiges of nobility. resulting in the ongoing joke - "Strahd? The Rock Star?" whenever someone attempts to talk about strahd in a way that's a little to reverent.

which i mean... that's a lot of how draculas brides are depicted... anyways i gave the wives a overhall and give them all special power sets. volenta can create bugs, her body can be swapped with bug parts which is fun. ludmilla is a god damn Genius, and anestrasya is a silver screen starlet with memory based abilities. (as in she can swap things with aspects of how they were remembered and a bit more but that's a special tool for later). all three are also - oops, is that one of my players i see trying to sneak a fucking peak? Back to the fucking dungeon with you, go on, Get! -

Personality wise;

Volenta: i made her autistic. oh you need more? i hate the idea of her acting like a Harley quinn knock off, i am sure far better dms then me can Swing it but baby i am bad at disco and when i swing my hips, there are concerning noises~<3. so i toned down her personality. she is still Vary Intense but Vary Goal oriented. i gave her things that she hyper fixates on, i made her Obsessive, i made it so that when she has an emotional misunderstanding, it can be Deadly because i think thats a more fun character.

Anastrasya: oh baby the camera loves her no matter how many times she fake her death and changes her social security number. i made her the Excellent host, someone who can't help but to dazzle and please those around her. she trives when theirs someone around to make happy! All eyes on her if you Please. Notably one of the wives who finds drinking blood to be rather Fucking Nasty so she simply doesnt, she can, in fact she should, but she simply dosent.

Ludmilla: i think the pitfall of the most intelligent people is that they can See what is wrong but they are Screaming into a void. now, i think a intelligent persons pitfall in dungeons and dragons is that intelligence is a dumb stat. if you are Hot and Strong, you can get away with being a dumb sack'a bricks! and that's Deeply frustrating. is no one going to question how the laws of mass and energy are being Bent over and treated like the MC of a """Spicy""" Romance novel? no one gonna comment how mass conversion is getting treated simalierly? this world is a nightmare of rules and logic that refuse to fallow their own rules and logic and her own vast intelligence is stagnant because Who the fuck needs a brainiac when my Hot Fairy Soul keeper will let me burrow her nuke on the Weekend? after ireenas Vary Bad, Absolute Worst Date Ever with Russias david bowie- Ismarck and doru would lead a militia of barovias towns folk to kill the vampire of the castle, this would be known as the Cradle rebellion because it was led by idiot babies. doru before hand confessed her feelings to gertrude who jumped out of a 5 story buildings to join him (and run away from her psycho mother.). Now this is where it gets Really Silly. ismarck and doru make it down to the tombs of the castle where they and the rebellion get shit stomped by rahadin- Lmao skill diff- but Gertrude? in the charge, she got separated and wandered around the castle for so long that strahd ended up finding her. in which gertrude demanded his unconditional surrender. Strahd, baffled by what the fuck is going on because This just has never happened before, decided to appoint her as the barovian townships ambassador and has been keeping her prisoner until negotiations can begin. she belives that doru and ismarck are within the castle getting treated for wounds. They Are Not. doru has become a vampric vagabond after getting his blood lust supressed by the party and ismarck is dealing with the zombie apocalypse.

Gertrude is so god damn funny to me. in the book she just Left because she wants to bang strahd. thats absurd and hilarious. i love her. she deserves to be a part of every game of curse of strahd. her favorite books are howls moveing castle and shitty cheap monster romances. shes now in her own invented love triangle between her broken heroic knight boy friend and the dark mysterious vampiric master of the house.

ismarck is still white. i though it would be funnier to have him look like a surfer dude with a broadsword you can surf on. in another life he would be hanging ten and kissing dudes on the beach, shits so unfair man...

~My Thoughts on Wonderful Pretty Cure! - Episodes 41-45~

Episode 41 - Yuki On Stage!:

I don’t have much to say about this episode at all. It’s just more filler.

I did really like the theatre kids. They were really funny. And the story was pretty cute.

Yuki looked so beautiful in that dress. She really looked the part of the goddess she was playing. And it was pretty funny how Niko appearing was only talked about once, and never again. Typical Pretty Cure stuff.

Zakuro continues to disappoint me every time she appears. This time, she’s proven even more just how un-loyal she is to Gaon. And not only was it once again for a minor, but for a girl as well. I’m not saying that in a homophobic way. Just a “no one is safe” way.

It really sucks just how much filler is in this season…

Episode 42 - Everyone’s Wonderful Pets!:

Again, more filler. But this one was cute and entertaining, so I don’t mind.

Seeing Animal Town’s residents and their pets was so sweet. I also love how everyone reflects an animal as well. Like how Kanie’s like a crab(and owns them), and how the mayor’s like a bird. It’s just a fun detail.

I really wish we got more of a realistic interaction between human Yuki and Mayu’s father. He just accepts that she can turn human; not questioning anything. But I should really know by now that realistic parents are too much to ask for in Pretty Cure. They just go with anything, haha.

I’m getting more and more curious about if the show’s hinting at Torame being reformed. He just wants to play, and always has fun with the Pretty Cure. I hope he does switch sides. He really deserves better than Zakuro.

Episode 43 - Feelings Spun Together:

Realizing just how much Mayu has grown makes me feel so proud. She couldn’t even speak to people when we were first introduced to her. But now, she’s teaching her friends how to knit with no problems! I feel like a proud mother.

I fully expected this episode to be pure filler. But I was pleasantly surprised when we got some lore! Gaou and the human who wrote the journal were friends. Obviously, something must’ve happened to make him hate humans so much. My initial guess was that the man might’ve joined others in hunting the wolves down. But it didn’t make sense to me.

So my actual theory is that the other humans did something to the nice one to prevent him from defending the wolves. Gaou got mad that they’d do that to their own species. And since they also hunted his own, he started hating humans.

That’s my guess. We can find out if I’m right after around a month.

Lastly, we got some focus on Zakuro. It looks like she’s starting to question Gaou. I really didn’t expect that. I thought it would only be Torame who had a chance to be reformed. But the more the merrier, I guess!

Episode 44 - Lots of Happiness:

As someone with a pet who’s getting old, this episode hit me hard. The fact that I’ll eventually have to say goodbye to my sweet baby crosses my mind every day. This episode made me put myself in Otsuru’s shoes, and partly experience what that’ll be like.

I didn’t expect to see a pet death in Wonderful Pretty Cure. I knew it was a possibility, but I highly doubted it coming true due to this season’s happy and silly nature. So I praise the show for adding this. Saying goodbye to our pets is a harsh reality most don’t like to think about. But this episode makes us watch and experience the emotions that are happening on screen. It hurts, but I believe it’s a good thing.

The moment Fuku stood up to try and cheer Otsuru up made me cry harder than I already was. It really highlights how our pets see us as the most important things in their lives. All they want is to be happy with us. So even in her last moments, Fuku found a way to put a smile on Otsuru’s face.

I also loved that Torame paused the Gaogaon just to let Otsuru through. He really does care about animals, and he’s always proving it.

After watching this episode, I made sure to give my pets lots of love. And I suggest all of you to do the same, if you have one. Animals’ lifespans are so unfortunately short, so give them all the affection you can. Because time flies faster than we can imagine.

Episode 45 - Friends Forever:

I’ve known Torame wasn’t all bad for a while now. For the past few episodes, I was really hoping he’d be reformed. And he was, but not in the way I expected.

It made me so happy seeing him run and play with the others. That’s really all he wanted this whole time. So I’m glad he finally got to have proper fun.

I can’t believe I didn’t fully comprehend that Torame was already dead before. It only sunk in once he was purified. While I’m really sad to see his character go, I’m happy his spirit was finally put to rest. He was my favorite villain of this season, so I’m glad he got a happy ending.

Howls moving castle (I am looking at more the book but even THEN it's gonna change a LOT so there Might be a mix of both??) au with Idia as Howl and Prince Justine mix, Ortho as a sorta mix of Calcifer and Michael, "yuu"(I am placing my oc scarlette here) as Sophie but instead of an Old curse it's a monster curse (scarlette can become a monster in her regular Canon so I swapped some stuff around, monster idea is some sorta bird thing ironically enough considering what they gave movie Howl)

The reclusive wizard with several rumors circling about him, majority painting pictures of a terrifying ghastly man who'd no doubt steal your soul away and devour it or use it in potions and the like, all the while Idia Shroud is actually the runaway prince from the kingdom that's being searched for, with Ortho accompanying him to protect him but like. Also. He's worried about him and hoping maybe eventually he can make SOME friends, but that isn't too promising since Idias kinda purposefully driving people away....

Until a young woman gets cursed after bursting in to save a Neige LaBlanche from something the witch of the waste Vil tried to do (and the fact she barged in and saved Neige made him snap outta it and now hes horrified at what hes done), her running the fuck away in absentminded panic and when feeling a resignation to her fate, ends up finding the roaming castle, and kinda being allowed to break in by Ortho.

The deal, become Idia's friend and Ortho will do his best to help her with this curse that's turned her into a monster thing! Of course she can't say anything about the curse to anyone so she can't even tell someone else to get help...

Idia isn't too pleased about the unwanted guest which Ortho probably said she was staying here now much to idias confusion and horror, but also I feel like he would have an easier time talking to someone who doesn't necessarily look too human currently and ortho predicted this

Etc etc etc

First years should be friends of hers and should break into Idias castle to save her cuz they didn't know she forced herself into staying against idias will

Started thinking bout the book again so. Good ol au time...... not everything is fleshed out but I think it's fun

Idia leaves his castle once a month cuz ortho has him use it as a chance to touch grass SOMETIMES at least and he hates it

You know how in the book Howl essentially flirted with Sophie as his first appearance? Yeah well Scarlette accidentally spooked the poor fucker here actually apologized and ran off and Idia had to recover from short woman scare. This man has no game, he wouldn't gain Howl's playboy-isms

Unsure how Ortho fulfills roles here but I do feel the combo of calcifer and Michael is due to how Idia would NOT have more than his brother on his house + Ortho has limbs alongside being able to control the castle probably

I HAVE. NO IDEA ... HOW TO INCORPORATE HOWLS CURSE HERE... Vil is far more sympathetic than the witch and if anything I feel it's a book 5 overblot situation that left him cursing people and even then idk why IDIA would be on his radar, guess he doxxed him....

Book 6 reference of Rook using a spell to hunt down the monster Vil created tho to make vil and gang try to find her and the castle tho.... vil wants to find a way to remove the curse he placed on her by mistake out of remorse because even neige didn't deserve that as much as he hates him let alone the poor random

And how I'm incorporating Sophie being a powerful magic user? Scarlette being able to slowly over time control her curse, able to make the feathers and inhuman aspects disappear, eventually able to pop em out at will and such, much to everyone confusion how is she doing that. What the fuck
