a type of angler fish called the black seadevil was spotted alive near the surface for the first time. There are a lot of speculations as to why she has come up this close to the surface, one of them being that she swam all the way up by herself. And this makes me unwell so I made it into art.

considering how i've made shadow people work in concept (when someone is turned into one based on if they were originally human, they'll become based on a sorta creature that represented their personality, how they act, or in one case based on how they were injured so poorly. Example; Shop is a ferret due to how he was previously in life. A conman of sorts who ended up at the warehouse for likely hiding out from enemies or the law reasons)

which brings up a very interesting idea regarding *Scarlette*, who became a moth

If she heard how the shadow people ended up looking like their specifics, she would be surprised she isn't a dog or cockroach

Moth she was inspired by was one that explicitly didn't give her benefits in attacking anything. It gave her the ability to scare others off, appear larger than herself to drive away anyone that could hurt her

Meanwhile I picture if she were a dog it would moreso be adding to how she sees herself, "merely a tool crafted to be vicious by the hands that trained her, listening to commands and being obedient to a master"

Meanwhile. The moth mode is something kinder, more defensive, because she doesn't want to hurt anyone, because she wants to scare them off before they can hurt her. It says "If I'm bigger and scarier than you, you can't hurt me"

A cockroach feels like it'd be adhering to a refusal to die personality too, like, those things are pretty resilient? Meanwhile moths, in some cases, are very delicate and have a short lifespan, if I remember right some males at least are born without mouths so can only survive 2 weeks before starving to death .

They can also frequently die from running into flames. In an attempt to follow the moon they can end up finding themselves running into light bulbs and burning to death if I remember right

Either way, a moth is less resilient than a cockroach, and far less violent than a trained attack dog. And far more likely to burn out and die on its own from what it seems like? Correct me if I'm wrong about any of my animal facts and symbolisms and all but like.

In the end. Scarlette is a gentle person who deeply doesn't WANT to hurt anyone, instead hoping to scare off the predators before they can hurt her. And she will run into that light in an attempt to protect who she loves burning out and getting injured for her cause

THERE IS. a website. that takes 3D models with seams and pulls it apart to make a plushie pattern and informs you where things need to be edited or darts added for the best effect. and then it lets you scale it and print off your pattern. and I want to lose my MIND because I've lost steam halfway through so many plushie patterns in the mind numbing in betweens of unwrapping, copying all of the meshes down as pieces, transferring those, testing them, then finding obvious tweaks... like... this would eradicate 99% of my trial and error workflow for 3D models to plushies & MAYBE ILL FINALLY FINISH SCREAMTAIL...
