CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You got the mural job, that's amazing news =D
THANK YOU!!! i've haven't quite done anythin like this before BUT i have enough experience from other projects to where it's not a super super daunting thing. like yeah it's Big and that'll have it's challenges but i'm excited !! :>
i don't know if i can show my proposal sketch off else i'd put it here but i will certainly show the finished mural off here once it's done >:3
#asks#clubsheartsspades#it also helps that i will be paid. several thousand dollars for this job. now part of that is to cover supplies bc it's. FUcking Big but#definitely the biggest job i have had so far size and paycheck wise dhglkdhfgl#i wouldn't call it weird exactly but i'm at an interesting place in my career as an artist bc i feel as if i should have found a specialty#by now. and by no means is it a bad thing that i haven't bc i love working on a huge variety of projects and i learn a lot from all of them#but for me it's like#i'm a freelance illustrator. i'm an art teacher. i do public art. i run an online shop. i do comics in my free time. every now and again i#exhibit in physical galleries#i do digital art but i'm also a traditional artist#'mintt why are you like this' i'm insane and i don't realize it until i write out everything i do like. oh. huh.#i don't mind doing any and all of that it's fun and there is an inherent cohesion to my work regardless bc i made it#but a lot of the artists i follow. especially the handful of professional artists i know irl do like. one or two of those things bc that's#their specialty. and idk if i have that career specialty yet. i Certainly have my specialties irt subjects#i think there's something to be said though about me seeking out more local opportunities than anything bc i don't feel like i quite have#the portfolio yet to be really noticed when applying for Big Things out of state and whatnot#at least with my more traditional work digital stuff is different#i am thoroughly rambling now sdhgklhflg

Please take a look, follow me on ko-fi for more updates, and please share! This is the first time any of this is available to buy outside of very very limited in person sales.

Hello 👋 how are you? I love your page and you feel like a comfort person. Thank you. I wanted to ask if you have some ideas regarding jobs and finance for those who don't have full time jobs. Do you have any recommendations for jobs that you can do online and earn passively? Thank you ♥
Hi love! Thank you so much. Glad to hear you enjoy my page and its content <3
Some contract/freelance jobs I would recommend to increase your (potential) passive income include:
Sell items online like Poshmark/Depop, eBay, etc.
Purchase & flip domains
Purchase/resell clothing, accessories, and other trending items
Rent out items or owned spaces (in your home, parking spaces, classes you've purchased from a membership, etc.)
Create a social channel (YouTube/TikTok) or blog with ads
Write an e-book/a course/self-published book
Affiliate marketing
Sell photo presets/templates/photography/art online
Investing in a high-yield savings account (/CD) or dividend stocks
Hope this helps xx

"was there a reason you didn't cancel this" honestly I thought I had so no there wasn't a reason but also if clients are going to have Your personal number and reach out to You about canceling (when they Should be reaching out via email per our cancelation policy) then You should be canceling the appt anyway imo. all the other trainers cancel their appointments AND add their appointments to the system 🤪
#noah.txt#also I do realize my annoyance is unwarranted but also I'm sosososo tired of this job#she's thinking about closing down for a month for renos and she's not going to pay anyone for that month#and she's not sure if she's going to set it up where we can file unemployment or if she's going to#make us be freelancers under the company name#also she booked an appt but didn't put it in the system and didnt Tell Me and someone put in a booking request for that day/time#and it's frustrating b/c the whole reason she wanted clients to be able to book via the online portal is to#make my job easier/more automated but it's not easier when I'm having to email 5 clients because she cant be fucked to learn the system#then I'm talking to a coworker about how my doctor said I need to get my stress down#and she has the AUDACITY to ask me if she's contributing to the stress#like... yeah you're like the primary stressor in my life because I got hired for an hourly position 2 years ago#yet you treat me like I'm a salary employee who is supposed to be on call#and yeah it's frustrating and stressful to feel like I can never fully relax b/c you might need something#and it's even more frustrating when the things she needs she'll call me about. I won't answer b/c I'm busy#then I'll call her back and she'll be like ''oh I looked for it after I got voicemail''#okay so you don't THINK to do a little investigating before calling me during my time off?#very funny to me that I've been in a therapy session talking about her and she will call me (I do not answer)#my job was not and is not to be a personal assistant yet that is the position I've been forced into#and quite frankly I do not get paid enough to deal with being a personal assistant to#an immature people pleasing 34 year old woman who lacks basic empathy and doesn't give a shit about her employees#like I wanted to like her! I want to like her! she's gay and Jewish! but she also stinks of white rich kid privilege#also she's having a baby with her wife and this is a baby she actively does not want and a baby they're having to fix their marriage#which is a very tough thing for me to watch from the sidelines#she also is always picking apart peoples appearances and shes also told me she would probably leave her wife if she grew her hair out#anyway there's a lot more on a personal and professional level but my break is over

Two Ways you can Charge your Clients for your Work
How to Bill your Client for your Work
When you're a new freelancer, one of the most challenging decisions is setting your rates, whether you charge clients per hour or per project. But how does that work, and how will you do that? Let's look at these options below and check if it helps you with your problem.
Charging per hour
Charging per hour means you will have a fixed, regular wage for the hours your client requires you to perform. The beauty of charging per hour is that it can help you develop your pricing strategy once you're already an intermediate and freelancing expert. Once your experience in freelancing increases, your charge rate per hour will also increase.
On the other hand, if you perform the work quickly and competently, you will get paid less when you charge per hour. The disadvantage is that when you become quicker and better as you go along, you'll not be paid well the better you become.
Charging per project
Charging per project works better on many levels. After all, you can charge more and keep the client happy because you're providing excellent value.
Clients hire freelancers because they always think they can accomplish the task in less time to complete thE they can achieve. So, give them a total price for the entire project (incorporating time spent on the task plus all the extras like email, phone correspondence, etc.). You will deliver the accomplished job the way you and your client stipulated.
One good side is that timeframe will not be a requirement because only you know how long the project will take you to finish. Remember that you'll be faster and better the longer you're a VA, so tasks won't take long to accomplish.
Setting your rates
Setting your rates depends on your expertise. When you're new and don't know how to charge clients, consulting experts is one of the best options. But, if you need to give your rate right away, consider the following factors:
• Do you think you're good at what you do?
• Have you worked hard to gain your skills and experience?
• Do you think your skills are valuable in term saving or making people money or giving more time?
Are a lot of other VAS offering this service, or are you a specialist in this area?
Then, think of your worth and charge.
You are a modern business-minded individual and have skills. Additionally, you are trained to fulfill tasks as a freelancer. Position yourself well, and the client will realize your worth; don't settle for less to get hired. But, you can grab projects offering lower costs to have experience with the tasks. Just make sure that the project is worth the effort.
