Come on you guys! This is an amazing project and even five dollars can make a difference! There’s a lot of Starkid members (Tin Can Brothers is basically Team Starkid in LA after all) and so many more epic people. Check out their kickstarter and think about backing!

The Tin Can Brothers the awesome dudes who brought us Spies are Forever (the musical), Flop stoppers, The Solve it squad returns  as well as many other comedy shows and sketches have released a new project on @kickstarter by the name of The Wayward Guide.
Now I am super excited for this to get funded and I’ll tell you why. It’s a web series focused around a podcast host that discovers a deep mystery in a small mining town. It promises plot twists, adventure, werewolves, murder, badass ladies,  werewolves, mystery, deception and of course werewolves. But that’s not all it will also have a number of podcasts to run with the series from the main characters perspective. Which is super awesome and creative.
Now I don’t often ask for much but PLEASE consider backing this project it looks amazing from the teaser and I would love to experience the whole show.
Back The Wayward Guide and I’ll love you forever

Goin Back to Hogwarts
My Dear Friends,
I have some very exciting news… I’M GOIN BACK TO HOGWARTS!
I have been admitted to the University of Michigan Law School class of ‘19! At the end of May I will be heading to Ann Arbor to begin law school, and hopefully become an Entertainment Attorney.
This was a big decision for me, as I love acting and living and working in Los Angeles, but in the end I decided I wanted to take on a new role within the entertainment industry.
The best part is all of my friends, family, and my amazing girlfriend Tessa Netting, have supported me 110% on this really exciting new adventure.
So I want to say THANK  YOU to them and all of you for your endless love and encouragement!
Please know I’m not going anywhere- you can still find me on Twitter & Snapchat and I will probably still do comedy from time to time.
You can definitely see me at GEEKY CON this summer, and I will be around for StarKid events as much as I possibly can.
I love all of you Pandas. Thanks for going with me on this crazy cool new journey.
-Joe Moses

Here are all 12 pieces from my E! News exclusive illustration series!!!
I’m super happy with how each piece turned out and that each character has managed to stay themselves despite being thrown into new surroundings and costumes. (My inner feminist wouldn’t allow Merida or Mulan to have their weapons taken away lol) Pocahontas still loves animals, Cinderella is still dressing tiny creatures, Tiana is cooking, and Belle fell asleep reading! I hope you enjoy the princesses you know and love, with a twist!
Check out my page for process work and phone backgrounds!

“That is so humbling and surreal, it’s an amazing experience. I love it. I’m lucky they put me in such a badass costume and makeup. It’s funny, we did a whole day of tests with that makeup. We were like, “Should we do this? Should we do tears? Should we do the bindi?”

Elsie Fest is taking over Pier 97 this fall. Come hear the music play as Darren Criss, Aaron Tveit, Starkid, Lea Salonga, and more take the stage!
Described as a “Coachella for Broadway fans” Darren Criss’ latest project will take some of the Great White Way’s greatest stars and bring them together for a 7-hour outdoor music festival this fall. On September 27, from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., the first-ever Broadway music festival, named Elsie Fest, will take place at Pier 97 on the West Side Highway at 57th Street.
According the official description the performances will include songs from both stage and screen and each performer will sing for a 30 minute set. In between sets the famed Marie’s Crisis piano bar will be on hand to guide the crowd through impromptu sing-alongs while they peruse various food trucks. The event will also be donating a portion of the proceeds to BroadwayCares: Equity Fights Aids.
The line up is an impressive combination of Broadway veterans and musical theater performers. Headlining the festival will be your soon-to-be Danny Zuko, Aaron Tveit (Next to Normal, Catch Me if You Can, Les Misérables (feature film)), Lea Salonga (Mulan, Aladdin) and Laura Osnes (Cinderella (Broadway), Bonnie & Clyde, Anything Goes).
A Starkid reunion will also take place as part of the festivities. Criss will likely join the assemble for a few numbers. No word yet on who from the group is scheduled to make an appearance.
Many, many more stars and guest appearances are expected, but you can count on an appearance from Leslie Odom Jr., star of the runaway hit Hamilton.
Curious about the name? Check out this performance from Cabaret as Liza Minnelli (Sally Bowles) recalls a girlfriend named Elsie who led a life of questionable choices, but left Sally with this message, “What good is sitting alone in your room? Come here the music play!”
Tickets go on sale Friday, August 21 at 10:00 a.m. ET and range from general admission priced at $50 to VIP at $250.
Visit Elsiefest.com for more information.

An apology...
... for our lack of posting here lately.
This blog is run by three students and we have just been crazy busy. We have been looking for people to help us run this blog, but without success. And we’re sorry for that. We don’t feel like giving this street team blog (or the facebook group, or our starkidbelgium tumblr blog or anything else) up, but if you feel like joining in to help, feel welcome! And sorry again.

I guess we’ll be seeing more of Joey Richter soon!
