Some of my skills:

My main profitable skills that I can balance with college rn include:

[1] 2d vtuber drawing, rigging, tracking. I can draw the model, rig the model, and make the model move with your camera.

Commissions: John Doe reads over my commission terms and sample models/art, and then tells me what they want. As I've done some personal models before, I'm thinking about starting off at 5-10$ with 1 commission slot, then raising the price with each satisfied customer.

Raffle: I make a model based on what Vehlur Project character the @lets-make-a-thing community votes for. John Doe pays for a ticket to be inserted into a raffle, then I pull a random ticket from a hat and if I pull the ticket matching John Doe's ticket, then they win the Vtuber model. Will need to do some legal research for this to make sure everything is allowed.

Alternative Raffle: Auctioning a model. Will need to do some legal research for this to make sure everything is allowed.

Sell Pre-made: I make models from Vehlur characters in advance and sell them. This approach depends on the demand of a character or what people want.

[2] Japanese translation for [CC] or subtitling (N5/N4 level).

I don't have the money to take a real JLPT test, but I took a practice N5 test online and got 100%. My gaijin JP professor who lived, worked, and married in Japan, also said I'm definitely above N5, so I take his word for it. I have no idea where I would go to make money with this skill. Maybe Fiverr?

[3] Face drawings. I can draw people's faces quickly with pencil.

Probably would be a street art type thing. Payment would probably be Cashapp. Warning: I am by no means a professional artist... yet.

Unfortunately 2 years ago, I made the mistake of asking for feedback on Reddit by posting in-progress vtuber works, and was clowned on for it. Despite rigging and tracking models for about 3 years now, others would probably describe me as a beginner hobbyist, and I would not consider myself professional yet either. In other words, I would rather your expectations be at the floor so that I can surpass them.

Anyhow, I see major improvement with every practice model I make, and if you are here for it, would love to share my progress and work with you all. What would be posted here would, of course, be related to the Vehlur project, since this is the @lets-make-a-thing account.

Sell items online like Poshmark/Depop, eBay, etc.

Purchase & flip domains

Purchase/resell clothing, accessories, and other trending items

Rent out items or owned spaces (in your home, parking spaces, classes you've purchased from a membership, etc.)

Create a social channel (YouTube/TikTok) or blog with ads

Write an e-book/a course/self-published book

Affiliate marketing

Sell photo presets/templates/photography/art online

Investing in a high-yield savings account (/CD) or dividend stocks
