I made a new token pack!
This pack is a collection started out as a handfull of tokens I made for a home campaign of Troika!. It expanded into some more and since then I have used some of these for Lancer too.
In the pack are included:
30 illustrated tokens of robot knights and other beings (but all robotic in nature), all tokens infront of a hex, square and circle backdrop.
Its pwyw on itch so pick it up if you feel like it!

Orc Tavern
This Orc Tavern may look intimidating from the outside, but it is merely a tourist trap run by two entrepreneurial half-orcs.
This tavern simulates everything that happens in a real Orc mess hall, but makes sure that no one is cooked, stabbed, or eaten.
Download this map for free here.
This map is part of my Dwarven, Elven, and Orc Taverns pack.

Dead God
Where do gods go when they die? A complex question with deep philosophical and theological implications, but in your setting of choice, perhaps one with a very simple answer. It could be a place, out of time and space, where decaying deific forms wither and rot, forgotten by all and no longer sustained by the power of belief. What manner of treasure, knowledge, or power might be found within such a long dead husk, and what bizarre and alien creatures might make their lair within one? That’s for you to decide, as you dazzle your players with these three maps, all animated, featuring an external and internal view of a massive humanoid carcass floating in a sea of stars. A giant, a god, or maybe just a regular-sized corpse visited by really tiny PCs?! A Fantastic Voyage into Innerspace awaits!

So I had the first official playtest of the UNSC ttrpg yesterday! Here's a couple screenshots from the sesh, wanted to just recount a couple things.
First, when you drop to 0HP, you roll on a Wounds table. The higher the number you roll, the worse your injury is, going from good, to bad, to worse, to instant death. You can keep fighting at 0HP, but every time you take damage, you roll again on that table, adding +1 on the result. The wounds are all varied enough, and realistically stack horrifically together so that you have the potential to really be a dead man walking after a couple rough rolls on it, but one of our players rolled not once, not twice, but five times on the table that night (between his own character and an npc squaddie) and managed to, each time, between different modifiers, roll "being concussed" FOUR TIMES. So, I'll have to make some rules for repeat offenders on the list. Something like temporarily removing 1 point from your strength, or tech, or something like that, because I'm not sure how one would stack multiple concussions, lol
You can kind of see one of the firefights play out in the second screenshot- Echo Squad engages a grunt fireteam in the streets, caught between a rock and a hard place with the Jackal Snipers. Damages and weapons felt good- which is important, given the universe it's set in- but you know, three skirmishes is hardly enough evidence. They'll get to the AA gun next time, so hoping to have more data, but by and large, the weapons feel good, the zone-to-zone movement feels solid, and each unit having a universal 2 AP (Action Points) to spend doing things during their turn helped easily communicate what could and couldn't be done. No bonus actions, reactions, whatever. If you have AP left, you can almost certainly do a thing.
Hope it's a fun preview, and hoping to share even more soon! Especially a more complete breakdown once they're finished with the scenario!

Phyrexia encounter #004 Path to the Norn's Palace
The Fair Basilica, a white-aligned sphere built in the image of Elesh Norn, decorated with statues and monuments to her. It contains Norn's throne room, though she now resides in the plane's second layer and designates the unification of the plane to Atraxa in her stead. Though no light from the plane's suns can reach this layer, its structures generate their light; the layer's walls, composed of ossified Phyrexian corpses of those Norn deemed perfect, glow white, while crimson capillaries etched into its marble-esque floor glow blood-red.

Coastal Harbor | Nestled behind sturdy walls of stone and brick, the harbor stands as a bastion of safety, shielding the townsfolk's ships from the wrath of the tempestuous sea. A bustling port of call for fishermen and adventurers alike, it offers a sanctuary to both those setting sail to uncharted realms and those returning with bountiful catches from the deep waters. Within this fortified haven, tales of bravery, camaraderie, and untold wonders are woven, beckoning all to find solace upon its welcoming shores or to embark on daring quests beyond the horizon.
30x40 | 100 ppi | 70 & 140 ppi versions available for free download on my Patreon or see what other maps I have to offer.

I finally wrangled FoundryVTT and got most of my player's characters imported, except for the new hires. Session zero report coming soon (maybe) to a tumblr page (mine) near you. Also, when you drag a mech north with this module, it looks like the pan flag.

Have been sick these past few days, but being unable to work is depressing so I tried to kill time by making scenes in Foundry for Fabula Ultima. I think the results are turning good so here's a breakdown (as well as links for the ressources and modules used) for people who would be interested. The basis is generaly 2 to 4 tiles to represent the background, as well as a tile used as a roof tile for the character portraits.
The sort of character portraits menu is made of different interface items from Fire Emblem Three Houses. The portraits themselves are easily swappable placeholders, these ones are from Final Fantasy War of the Visions. Each portrait has an invisible tile which opens a corresponding character sheet using Monk's active tile trigger.
The backgrounds come from Fire Emblem Heroes. They all come already separated in several layers, and surprisingly most of them loop perfectly when it comes to overlays (such as dust or smoke) and underlays (ie. clouds, skies). They're an incredible ressource for Fabula Ultima combat screens! To have the skies and overlay move, I used Ripper's Tile Scroll module. It's super easy to use. If you have several overlays (like in the factory scene), placing the moving one between the immobile ones had a sense of depth to the scene with very little effort.
For the rain and the snow, it's simply using ghost'FXMaster module. The FEH backgrounds also have a few panels of snow, cherry blossom petals, flowers, motes of light, etc... I don't think they'll look as good, but some of them can have their use. In a volcanic environment, having motes of fiery lights constantly raising from the bottom of the screen to the top using tile scroll could work to denote heat.
As for the tokens, I simply used the ones made for the quickstart by Tiny-Overlord. Flying Minotaur's portrait maker is also an incredible ressource for this kind of setup. As the name states, it can even be used to make portraits and not just token, so you could make your NPCs with it too.
Have fun saving the world, adventurers!

I've seen you posting about what I think is a DnD campaign, and I'm wondering what software the screenshots are from?
It is a DnD campaign, even if an odd one!!
We use FoundryVTT, which is an absolute godsend. It's a Virtual TableTop (like roll20), with a few differences:
It's single payment. $50, but it goes on sale, and it's very lenient with the license (one person gets it, the whole group can use it to DM as they'd wish! they don't really care)
No subscriptions or extra payments after that. You get the entire software with all of its utilities for that.
It's self-hosted (think like Minecraft servers) but it's easy to set up and it's wonderful since you don't need to worry about storage
It comes with just all sort of functionalities out of the box and it's far much more fleshed out than roll20. There's a lot of integrated TTRPG systems in it already (including 5e, Pf2e, Blades in the Dark, Call of Cthulhu, etc), which update constantly
The software itself is also actively updated and they add more functionalities constantly- It's already VERY good, but they keep expanding it!
A very important one, but it allows modding and has a very active modding community, so if there's a functionality the base software doesn't have, chances are that someone already did it. for example, the healthbar or the turn markers are mods
Honestly the devs are pretty cool too and I appreciate the work they do
For some of the cool functionalities it has that I really use (most of which roll20 doesn't have)
It's just really well optimized and they actively work on optimizing it further with every update!
This one is very important to me, but it allows animations natively, which I use quite a bit for animated tokens. There's people who have done animated spell effects and such too. It supports webm, which are much better than gifs
Overall a LOT of visual customization. You can set lights in the scene with lots of animation, filters, there's a mod to add weather and particle effects, you can have forehead tiles (basically stuff that is over the character), etc.
The sheet and inventory management system is so much better than roll20! you can drag and drop features, classes, spells, all that sort of stuff. Pf2e's module is particularly well done and you can just drag about everything and get a sheet ready in no time
it has a delightful vision system with integrated walls, fog of war and so on (yknow, that thing that roll20 has behind a paywall, but better)
integrated rulers and templates too!
and of course just endless customization with mods
a really nice system for journals, player notes, handouts, etc
fairly specific but you can make both lootable chests and interactive shops for your players with a mod and I LOVE that
I could fawn ALL day about how much I love this software. I ran my campaign in roll20 for two years and the amount of wrestling I had to do with it was infuriating! I really recommend FVTT to pretty much anyone. It can be a bit overwhelming at first since it's a bit harder (given how much functionality it has), but once you get used to it, it's hard to go back to other stuff tbh

Edge of the World
It’s the edge of the world as we know it, and I feel…worried? Sure, if you believe “scholars” and “scientists”, there is no such thing as world’s edge, but these maps are proof to the contrary. This then begs the question: what’s on the other side? It could of course be more sky, filled with lovely clouds and an endless drop into the wild blue yonder, but it could also be a sea of smoke and ash into which flows a river of lava, or some dark eldritch void from which cyclopean tentacles reach out to seize the unwary! Get your hands on these three, fully animated variants now and test how long your players can keep living on the edge!
