“bill?, he heard a shaky voice calling out to him. your voice. filled with anxiety and some odd sense of uncertainty, which was the opposite to the usual calm tone. he could always feel the emotions coming off your tongue. this was new to him, however; he’d never seen you in a state of distress before.

“hmm?”

"what happens after i die?", you said, turning your back against your companion. you never did that before, he noted quickly and wordlessly.

you felt his gaze on your back. and then, there was silence engulfing the two of you. it lasted maybe minutes, maybe hours, maybe seconds. it's hard to tell time in the mindscape. all you knew was that you did not enjoy the silence at all. bill cipher wasn't the type to stay silent for long, and you knew that; it was probably the reason why you regretted letting any sound leave your lips.

bill was always quick to make any kind of remark. be it something teasing, embarrassing, outrageous; it took him seconds to utter any of the above. that’s why this silence felt wrong. his eye was probably close to burning holes into your back and still, no sound escaped him. this situation didn’t help to ease your mind at all; if anything, maybe the monstrosities that await you after your demise are too complicated to explain? or, perhaps, the bare sight of them so frightening that he doesn’t want to mention it to you?

it's been troubling you for a while; the bare thought of death. you're just a human, just a small, insignificant being in the whole wide universe. you don’t hold much significance, you fear, being just one in a billions. a creature with some brains and some consciousness, but not clever and aware enough to accept and deal with spiritual stuff. your triangular companion introduced you to a magnificent world, broadened your understanding of life but still; it was painful to live without a sense of meaning and understanding what you are really here for. there are so many different species, it’s normal to feel so insignificant, right?

can you find meaning in no meaning? is there any bigger purpose for you or anyone else? you’ve been tormenting yourself with these thoughts for a while now, and if it weren’t for a firm touch on your shoulder and a soft voice reaching your ears, you would be able to stop those nihilistic thoughts from constantly appearing.

“y/n? brat, you there?”, bill asked, gaining your attention back; you faced him again. apparently, he’s been talking to you while you got lost inside your own mind. you two made a vow preventing him from invading your privacy by exploring your cerebrum. he gladly agreed, what surprised you, but apparently he respects you at least to some extent. “you asked a question, i answered. it’s time for you to answer mine, too. we’re playing it fair over here,” he humorously added, though his enthusiasm quickly faded, noticing the lack of your own. there was something definitely going on with you, and he almost regretted agreeing to leave your mind alone. checking what’s wrong by himself would be easier and faster, he thought.

“come again, please? and please repeat your question, too. sorry, i can’t focus on anything lately,” you muttered, making bill whine something quietly; nonetheless, he answered again. “i said, what’s with the sudden question? it’s pretty unlikely for you to ask me about any ‘serious’ stuff,” he said, watching you intensely, intently. as if he tried to find the answer somewhere in your eyes. as if he would plunge it right out of you, so it wouldn’t bother you anymore.

“and the answer? can you say it again, bill? i didn’t mean to ignore you, i swear,” you said, raising his concerns; you’re too desperate for that answer. that fact alone tells him that you’ve been plagued with whatever this… thing was bringing you. “nah, you answer my question first. so?”, he asked, yet again. awaiting your response like his life depended on it, focusing all his attention to you; not like anything else occupied his mind during his moments with you.

“i, um… i haven’t been doing that well recently and i guess it has reflected on my views. i mean, it would be odd to expect anything else,” you chuckle, confusing bill a bit. “there’s just so many humans. so many other creatures exist over there. i can’t help but feel, uh, insignificant?”, and when those words leave your lips, bill wishes nothing more than to show you that none other being can compare to you.

“i’m just a human and they don’t live that long. measly one hundred years at best. and there’s such a giant world over there,” you exhale, and your companion is sure your voice is getting quieter. “and thinking about this made me stumble into the rabbit hole. i don’t have enough time to see everything this universe has to offer, so i started wondering about what awaits me; it’s not, um, unreasonable, you know. i’m just scared of whatever will greet me once i meet my demise,” you summarised.

“so, bill? what’s your answer?”, you said, anxiously; suddenly you feel a bit too aware of the words that just left your figure, but you can’t do anything about that now. what’s done is done, and you can’t turn back time. letting it all out helped you a bit, though; maybe it’s that odd feeling of comfort after sharing something intimate with the closest person.

there’s a moment of silence. you can hear him inhale deeply; not because he really needed that much air, of course not. he’s thinking; should he push you again? there’s no way he’s certain of his words effect on you, and he certainly doesn’t want to make it worse. but he cannot just leave this matter without trying, so he decides to gamble, hoping for the best outcome to happen; hoping that he could bring you the comfort he so desperately wants you to feel.

“ask me once again, now. ask me about the thing that plagues you, and i shall answer,” he said, quietly. his gaze all over your figure; as if he was trying to envelop you with his form. as if that would shield you from your own, prone to self-destruction mind.

“what happens after i die?”, you muttered, quietly, your lips shaking. bill’s eye-expressions changed to the one of pity and comfort. this time, yet again, the silence is all around you, heavy and hard to swallow; but you can see that’s not the uneasy silence anymore. he’s choosing his words carefully. bill is thinking about his answer; he won’t tell you anything close to inaccurate or inexact, no. he will take his time to provide you with the best answer for you. the one you can digest lightly and the one that will ease your concerns.

“it feels the same as before you were born. remember? that wasn’t so bad,” he said, intertwining your fingers with his own. and just like that, the two of you sat beside each other in your mindscape, watching stars blinking, fading and glowing even more. they will all perish one day too, you thought. in the end, the temporariness of it all makes it quite a beautiful, tragic experience.

“…yeah, i guess so,” you said, moving closer to bill, with your mind now at ease. since it’s all gonna end one day and you can’t do anything about it, it’s better to use your one and only chance at life doing something you really want.

“besides, it’s not like i’d let you just pass away and wander in whatever space you’d end up in. you’re staying with me, like it or not!”, bill cheerfully said, brightening the mood with his usual behaviour. well, it’s certainly worth the possible tragedy; allowing yourself to feel happiness that will pass inevitably and facing the uncertainty of yet world beyond your own feels terrifying, but you guess that as long as you have bill, nothing can really frighten you; you’ve got the universe’s biggest menace on your side, after all.

helloo ! ive been wanting to ask if you have any specific tips or things to focus on while writing characters with DID ! im not a system myself but psychology in general has been a topic that ive always been interested in and want to depict it to the best of my ability + i love your art and wish you the best ^^

Good question!

Writing about DID/OSDD is incredibly difficult- even I a system probably couldn’t do it, but I can give you some advice regardless. Obviously saying “research” is expected, but finding good research on it is hard. As always I recommend as a starter for understanding the fundamentals of the disorder : “The Haunted Self: Structural Dissociation and Treatment of Chronic Traumatization” just look that up and I’m sure you can find it on the internet archive or docdriod. As a rule of thumb don’t trust system tiktok, tumblr, carrds, or any personal account to get the majority of your information from just because there’s an incredible amount of misinformation (of course there’s plenty others on there who probably know what they are talking about, but I’d always recommend using credible peer reviewed sources.)

With the research disclaimer thing out of the way here’s a few points:

-It’s a trauma based disorder, everything is structured around trauma. Not just a singular trauma but repeated emotional, physical, and typically sexual trauma that is experienced under the age of 10 (You don’t need all three, just a lot of systems experience a mix of trauma) To write DID/OSDD right you should be able to write child traumatization accurately and be comfortable with writing it.

-There is a vast amount of different experiences with DID/OSDD. There are varying levels of amnesia, alter presentations, system structures etc. not all systems use plural terms, have names for alters, or have much personality differentiation between alters. The experience of a Osdd1a system will be different to a DID system, so you’d probably want to look into the specifics of those differences and stick to one type of system.

-Try to avoid misconceptions and DID tropes in media. The most obvious one I can think of is “the evil alter” trope, there’s quite a lot of demonization of the disorder so you have to be critical when viewing media depicting it (fuck the split movie).

-unless it’s apart of a character arc avoid the uncritical idea that alters are just their source. it’s healthy for them to branch out and expand from their baseline purpose and identity.

As for things I’d like to see in DID/OSDD rep it’d be:

-representing extreme denial

-loss of time

-source separation would be cool

-fusion and dormancy being mentioned

A lot of media hyper focuses on Alters when that is only one aspect of system hood. I think I’d be cool to look at the other symptoms.

But overall, it would be a really hard task to write a system especially without being one. I’m not saying it’s impossible but it’s easy to fall into misrepresentation even if it’s well meaning (it’s easy to do that even if a person is a system, that’s why I’m too scared to write it) If you are going to do it, do a very thorough amount of research before you develop an idea of a character. I know I sound really upset at the idea, I’m not I do really like the idea of representation- but DID/OSDD is such a stigmatized disorder that you have to be so so so careful not to add onto the stigma. I do believe it’s possible to do it right though! I wish you luck and thank you for the compliment.

USES This medication is used to treat mood-related disorders ranging from depression to chronic loneliness and anxiety. It has also been proven effective in treatment of Compulsive Demonic Behavioural Disorder (CDBD) and Post Fall Stress Disorder (PFSD). The medication results in an overall improvement in mood (see Side Effects), morals, and lifestyle choices. This medication is sometimes described as a 'miracle-worker'. It is advisable to ensure that the correct dosage is taken at regular intervals. The doctor/God/Forces That Be may prescribe a lower dose at the start, gradually increasing frequency and amount over the course of millennia.

OVERDOSE While less dangerous than withdrawal symptoms, overdose may lead to lack of personal space, miscommunication, and decrease in mood stability. Increased irritability is also common. Use with caution.

My friend I not only play Fallout 4, play Fallout 4 a lot, but in fact play Fallout 4 to the point that thinking about this game keeps me up at night and has increasingly over time become something that has significant bearing on my real-world activities in a way that baffles and confounds. (It in fact is very beneficial to me that you, my treasured and beloved tumblr mutual, remembers me as notably being a person who cares about Fallout 4 completely unprompted.)

Anyways, here are a few mods that I tend to use most often:

Everyone's Best Friend (Dogmeat and Companion At Same Time - No Console - No Hack) at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community

This is the one mod I use basically above all else, which is silly given how simple it is. Basically it just lets you have Dogmeat and another companion travel with you simultaneously, so you never have to choose between having your doggy and like, getting important relationship-building story bits and commentary on events. Also useful since it can make combat a little easier since Dogmeat also helps in fights.

Important NPC Essential Edition at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community

I hate how I can meet a funny little NPC that I like a lot, assign them to a settlement, and then they get killed in some random mutant raid or whatever. This mod keeps that from happening! A win for funny little NPCs.

True Storms - Wasteland Edition (Thunder-Rain-Weather Redone) at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community

This one adds cooler, more intense weather events that feel a little more immersive than vanilla edition. Definitely good for truly terrifying rad-storm experiences.

GRASSLANDS - A Fallout 4 Grass Overhaul at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community

Grass! I kinda don't like how dead all the plants are since 200+ years post-apocalypse is more than enough time for greenery to return. This mod helps everything feel a bit more alive and so that it's not like the bombs just dropped like 20 years ago or something.

The Eyes Of Beauty Fallout Edition at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community

This one is great for generally cooler eye options for normal colors, plus every insane color variation you can imagine. Fun for unique character design purposes!

How Convenient at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community

This one gives you a set powerful weapons straight out of the Vault that normally you wouldn't be able to find until much later. I've found it most useful for repeat playthroughs where I don't want to take extra time away from whatever I'm trying to do and grind early-game stuff, and want to just be able to power through a little faster.

Dismiss Porter Gage To Any Settlement at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community

If you have the Nuka-World DLC, the companion from there can only typically be dismissed to settlements in the DLC map, which is annoying if you're frequently swapping companions like I tend to. This way you can dismiss him to the same central settlement as other companions if you want to do this too.

Danse GTFO Power Armor at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community

Normally you can't ask Danse to take his power armor on and off like you can do with other companions, and this quality-of-life mod allows that if you need to go somewhere and you don't want him clomping in a giant metal suit behind you.

Adds lightsabers as craftable weapons. Not really lore compliant, but fighting in power armor with a lightsaber is sick as hell so who cares.

There are a few more I know of that are more intense story and quest-addition mods, but if you're just playing the game for the first time, they're probably best added later.

Everything about her breaks my heart. She’s a goddess in a disfunctional family who doesn’t understand mortal ways.

Also, her dad is the most toxic dude alive.

I mean, there’s this one line that people portray in so many ways, but you watch how Zeus interacts with her and recall the fact that he literally didn’t want her to live when she was conceived- he is SUCH a bully and her respect only stems from him being ‘king of the gods’.

None of the gods step in during God Games. At no point does anyone go “dad you can’t threaten your daughter because she did exactly what you asked her to do”. Not even ARES.

He’s the one who says, mortified, “is she dead?” So he didn’t WANT that turn of events. He cares about her and her state of being.

She’s the only one willing to challenge Zeus and he literally says, “you won, I don’t care, I’m going to heavily punish you because I’m unhappy that you said a true statement I didn’t like”

I've no respect for bullies, those who impose their will I've seen plenty enough to truly understand this kind of filth

Literally her entire life- no one’s been on her side! NO WONDER she doesn’t want to take Ody’s offer of friendship. Clearly no one has ever really given her trust or empathy that she can lean on.

They were in two different spectrums and that’s why they clashed.

Time skip: the way that Athena talks to Telemachus says that she’s been stewing in regret because she KNOWS they were good friends and she didn’t want to admit it to herself. She understands why they clashed and now she doesn’t know what to do about it.

So this kid is like “I think you should help him even if he hates you. If he won’t accept your friendship then I’ll be here waiting.”

AND THAT’S LITERALLY EXACTLY WHAT SHE NEEDED TO HEAR?

I’m a sucker for ‘doing everything for the people you care about but platonically’ and Athena is the PICTURE of ‘oh wait I would platonically die for my friend’ and like?? That’s beautiful??? 😭

My only qualm with EPIC is the way that the Ithaca Saga handled Athena because you cannot convince me that it did not do her dirty. I have read and scrolled and chewed on all the arguments.

That. Beautiful. Goddess. Went. Above. And. Beyond. To. Mend. Her. Mistake and he outright denied her friendship.

That was not a “oh yeah we can be friends later” very well.

That’s a voice cracking, heartbroken: “I took a thunderbolt for you and you don’t want me in your life” very well. LIKE.

Yes. Oddy went through a lot. No denying that.

But he called out for HER. After everything, he called out for HER HELP. Showed a belief in her. Counted on her to save him

AND SHE DID WHAT HE NEEDED. TOOK A THUNDERBOLT. BEGGED ON HER KNEES WHILE SUFFERING AND IN AGONY.

She’s literally saying she messed up. She wants to mend their relationship. She wants to do better for him.

He could have said, “I’m not a man who does empathy anymore but we can try” instead of “I have other plans, gonna have to miss this friendship train” because that is an awful diss. Straight painful.

This amazing song did her so dirty and I will never get over it.

Thank goodness for Telemachus. She’ll needs his optimism and joy and willing friendship after the sting from that bite.

nice to meet you! well, i don't think i’m an interesting person to answer questions on tumblr because i don't usually find my thoughts relevant to someone, but i want to start with something that my dear friend @sgiandubh said about it. explains very well what happens to s:

i don't judge anyone. i wont jugde s or c or anyone. i didn't come to this world for this. i really can't do it. while there are some people who i don't know how they go to sleep at night and don't feel bad about doing what they do. i think it’s so strange that with a dream and a gift, so many bad things come along with. it's really sad imagine that you had the dream of working with what you love, developed your gift until it became recognized, worked really hard, achieved your career and at the same time so many bad things happen: your life, your certainties, your character... people try to take that away from you, questioning all of this. they point the finger and don't imagine what this can do to your mental health, how much it hurts or doesn't hurt, how much it hurts the people around you and your family.

it's a fact that sometimes he does things that are not right in our eyes: yes, he just looks like a beautiful angel without sins and mistakes. he just seems like it, but he isn't. he makes mistakes every day, he sins, he is made of flesh and blood (as some seem to forget and think they have the right to judge him as they wish). and yes: some things that i have read before, that i read now and that i will read about him are simply not justified and never will be. there is no justification for attacks. i say and repeat. hello people! I was just coming to announce that please forget about the whole issue that happened on Twitter, in general because I am no longer that person and I stopped being that person when trying to improve, for some reason I switched to Tumblr.

An issue that has nothing to do with it is that I am also a minor, so at the time of creating all that I didn't see the weight, I saw them with people my age and it's just like, I don't know, huh, I didn't care tremendously, that without seeing the fact that older people could see that content and not only that but it is also wrong to make that type of content whether or not you are a minor.

This is not said for the purpose of being forgiven, only done so that you know the type of person I was before and that you are free to stop following me, I just want you to not follow someone who had the mega funa

no warnings, just cuteness

It happens quite often that Nagi falls asleep in one place and wakes up somewhere else. He could swear he just barely let his eyes rest shut at the restaurant, wasn’t even planning on taking a nap, but now he’s blinking himself awake in an only slightly familiar room.

Sitting up, Nagi rubs bleary eyes with the palms of his hands then glances around. Yeah, he knows this apartment, knows it’s yours, and feels his sleepy heart start to beat just a little harder at the thought.

Where are you? And where’s Reo? Surely he’s gotta be somewhere nearby, wouldn’t just dump Nagi at his crush’s house like some kind of stupid wingman.

Actually, yes he would. Reo’s whole thing is keeping Nagi happy, so yeah, he absolutely would do something like this on purpose.

“Oh, hey, you’re awake,” he hears you say as you glide into your living room. “There’s some soup on the stove if you want some. It’s raining outside so I thought something warm would be nice.”

Right. The rain. Nagi remember it tapping on the window of the café. That’s what made him shut his eyes. He can still hear it now, pattering against your apartment building, and almost immediately he feels drowsy again.

“Thanks,” Nagi mumbles. “S’Reo here?”

You shake your head. “He went to play soccer with some friends.”

“But… rain.”

You shrug your shoulders where you now sit perched on the arm of the couch. “He seemed especially excited about that. Said mud makes it more fun.”

Nagi wrinkles his nose. No wonder Reo left him behind. He knew there was no way he would have been able to convince Nagi to play with him.

“He should be done soon. It’s getting pretty late,” you hum. Nagi checks his phone and finds a message from Reo—a selfie—of his friend splattered with mud and the caption ‘no idea what you’re missing!’. He also sees that it’s nearly ten o’clock.

“Dang. Guess I should head home then.”

“You don’t have to,” you say quickly, and when Nagi looks at you, he sees a hopeful glimmer in your eyes. “I mean, I don’t mind the company. Plus, it’s so gross outside. Just… stay the night.”

His heart picks up its pace again, reminding Nagi of the way he always has to push himself during soccer matches. Just a little harder, a little faster, it’ll be worth it. The goal is in sight.

Is it with you, though? Is tonight a pivotal point between you and Nagi? There’s been what he thinks might be flirting—sly glances, badly hidden smiles, cute giggles—but it could all just be normal friendly behavior. Reo has tried to tell him time and time again that ‘bro, she has a thing for you, just make a move!’ but Nagi has never been the proactive type, and honestly he’s just kind of scared to ruin anything. What he has with you now is good. It’s easy. It’s low maintenance friendship.

But like… he also wouldn’t mind being able to hold your hand and kiss the tip of your nose so… a sleepover, huh?

He wonders what it’ll entail. As he slurps the warm, homey soup, a million cliché possibilities run through his mind.

Movies? Boring. Pillow fights? Exhausting. Are you about to give him a makeover? Wasteful. Makeup is expensive.

No. It turns out sleepovers are way more fun now than Nagi remembers. Or they are with you.

Instead of rom-coms and eyeshadow, he spends his night with you wrapped in a fuzzy blanket, the weight of you against his chest soothing him in and out of sleep. It’s definitely something he could get used to. Even if in the future you do decide to test out shades of blush on him or chuck pillows at his head, Nagi doesn’t think he’ll care as long as the night still ends up like this.

# discord: i find this the best for myself, personally, it works great for both long-form descriptive threads as well as script style shenanigans. i roleplay via personal one-on-one servers using tupper bots (not necessary btw if you don't use tuppers), normally, but with my friends, i am willing to roleplay via their musing servers and any common roleplaying servers we're in. however, i don't think i feel comfortable sharing my discord with people i barely know just yet, so if we meet on tumblr, we'll be roleplaying via tumblr.

· WRITING STYLE: i can do both descriptive and script, although i usually prefer the former for proper threads and the latter for crack roleplays, but i can do descriptive script too. and just so we're on the same page:

· TO MY ROLEPLAY PARTNERS: i will never require my roleplay partners to match my length, reply punctually, or stick to threads unwillingly: the point of roleplaying is to have fun, and i want my roleplay partners to feel comfortable and thrive.

· BASIC ETIQUETTE APPLIES: mutual respect and decency are always appreciated; harassment, plagiarism, bigotry of any form, etc. are not.

· SHIPPING: my muses are generally multi-ship and open for shipping unless stated otherwise. with that being said, i prefer to take things slowly and prioritise irp chemistry as i find it awkward to write pre-established romances no matter what. if our muses cannot vibe as friends, then they are not suitable to be lovers. romantic shipping is not of extreme priority to me, and i do not write smut, ever.

· PORTRAYALS: it depends on the characters, but normally, although i try to stay true to the canon sources, i will classify my canon portrayals as canon-divergent since i tend to cherry pick bits of canon i like, explore themes or ideas i find interesting, and infuse my headcanons into writings; my focus is to have fun and keep things fresh. my characters, both canon and originals, are also prone to retcons for those reasons stated.

Hello. This might seem like a silly question but it's on my mind. What's the deal with the whole "we're talking on a mobile but let's show the characters in the same room" thing. The first time I saw I think it was Gen Y with Mark and Kit even before the whole separation thing. Then it appeared in MSP. And now in A Boss and a babe. And I'm sure I've seen it somewhere else but I can't recall now. To be honest I don't know if I like it or I hate it but for some reason it's nagging at me that it seemed like it came out if nowhere. Again sorry if it's a silly thing .

I'm going to make an educated guess.

Looking at the timeline, this didn't come out of nowhere, but came out of necessity - a pandemic!

Gameboys - Gav x Cairo

There was a two-year+ period where many of the globe couldn't touch their loved one. The only way to "see" some family was through calls, so I think directors are making a conscious choice to show people in the same space after many years of that not being a realistic possibility.

I'm sure this technique has been used before 2019, but I think it's more of a sentimental choice to reinforce the narrative - people want to be around their loved ones. Technology is great, but it doesn't replace the feel of people sharing the same space and after having to deal with that for the past few years, we want to see people sharing the same space even if they aren't.

I, personally, like it. In HIStory 5: Love in the Future, Hai Yi was in mandatory quarantine when he spoke to Johnny on the phone, and they had several scenes on the phone where they would appear in the same room, yet when Johnny finally saw Hai Yi in person, he was left in awe.

Both were instantly attracted to each other, and it was believable because even though they were just talking on the phone, we saw them interacting.

Another educated guess is these shows are telling us that meeting and talking through the use of technology doesn't dilute the connection between the two people, but makes it stronger. The physical aspect is pushed aside and the emotional connection is front-and-center. King in Bed Friend is showing Uea that he doesn't just want his body, but he wants his presence. Mork in Fish Upon the Sky wanted Pi to know that he had always valued him as a person regardless of how Pi felt about himself. In Hello Stranger, Xavier and Mico would have NEVER gotten to know each other the way they did without the help of technology. Who knows how @dribs-and-drabbles and I would interact in real life, but in these tags, I'm trying my damndest to get in an ethical non-monogamous situationship, and know that my mama didn't raise no quitter.

TLDR: Technology brings people together, and putting them in the same room reinforces that.

Title: Cuteness Member - Sorara (Piyo)

Now this one, I would say an "unofficial" Sanrio character of sorts? But rather, a part character from the Sanrio's Anime TV show called "Onegai, My Melody!" (My Melody, please!") series ❤️🐇🎵. And I know, what you thinking? Yes, I remember watching "Onegai, My Melody!" before back when I was from Elementary to early High School days, both Eng sub, dub, and even Tagalog dub (no doubt for the latter). And that's why, I draw the space prince "Sorara" 🌌🤴⭐, who turns into cute chubby chicken 🐥⭐ for some reason (which, I called him "Piyo" sometimes as an alternate identity) enrolls to the "Cuteness Defender Academy", with his first "Cuteness Mecha Armor" with two different types, the armored "ZZ" (pronounced "Double Zeta" as an official) and the armored "Full Armor ZZ". 🤖😁

ZZ Piyo (Sorara)Based on: MSZ-010 ZZ Gundam [CLICK ME!]

Armaments:

Double Beam Rifle • The primary ranged weapon of the ZZ is a double beam rifle, which was based upon the prototype twin mega beam gun used by the armored Rick Dias II. This weapon possesses two barrels and on its rear half. As with all of the armored ZZ's beam weapons the double beam rifle possesses an unusually high power rating, with the beams from each individual barrel having a power rating of 10.6 MW for a combined total of 21.2 MW.

High Mega Cannon • Mounted in the center of the ZZ's head is a high mega cannon. This particle beam weapon has a power rating of 50 MW, making it the most powerful beam weapon used by a "CMA" suit during the war years, as well as one of the most powerful weapon mounted on a "CMA" suits ever. The power of the high mega cannon's beam can seriously damage a "CMA" suit with even a glancing hit, and as shown when used against powerful enemies, it can completely destroy a standard "CMA" suit shield making it impossible to block the beam. However despite being a powerful weapon, its power is also a weakness as the ZZ's fusion reactor is unable to handle repeated usage of the high mega cannon. The high mega cannon is operable in normal mode only.

Hyper Beam Saber • The ZZ mounts in backpack recharge racks a pair of hyper beam sabers. The hilts of these beam sabers are easily three times greater the size of other beam sabers, and are capable of emitting a much longer and more powerful saber that can easily cut through several "CMA" suits in a single swing.

Missile Launchers • The ZZ mounts a pair of missile launchers on its backpack in normal mode and on its main torso body. Each missile launcher possesses 21-tubes that are loaded with AMA-13S small missiles.

Shields • The ZZ mounts a pair of shields on its forearms. Unlike previous "CMA" suits the shields are not optional equipment that can be removed, but are actually built into the "CMA" suit's arms. The shields serve the purpose of protecting the ZZ from attacks that it cannot dodge.

Special Equipment & Features:

Bio-Sensor • A technological variant of the psycommu system developed by Anaheim Electronics. Although its full capabilities are unknown, its primary purpose was to allow a Newtype member to more easily interface with his/her "CMA" suit via mental commands. The bio-sensor could also have a rather surprising side effect when a Newtype member was mentally and emotionally focused enough (usually when angry or upset) to cause the bio-sensor to amplify the power, speed and strength of the "CMA" suit for a short period of time.

Ballute System • A balloon-like device used to slow the descent of "CMA" suits and ships during atmospheric entry, preventing them from burning up. However, while the Ballute protects against atmospheric heat, it is still vulnerable to beam or projectile weapon fire. If the ballet is damaged during entry, the attached mobile suit or ship will be exposed to extreme heat and plunge into the atmosphere blowing up the "CMA" suit or ship.

Armaments:

Missile Launchers • The Full Armor package gives the Enhanced ZZ a series of missile launchers mounted all over its body. This enables the Full Armor ZZ to bombard targets in combat. Spraying missiles were also mounted on the Full Armor ZZ, mainly for distraction purposes and countering I-Fields.

Large Hyper Mega Cannon • A new addition to the Full Armor package, the Hyper Mega Cannon is a powerful upgrade to the original ZZ's powerful (but energy draining) High Mega Cannon.

Special Equipment & Features:

• Bio-Sensor • Ejectable armor components • Double Beam Rifle • Large Hyper Mega Cannon

I like several things about your art & lore so a simple note doesn't do it justice i feel, i just hope tumblr formates it somewhat okay via ask lol. 1. How absolute soft and round you draw, you hardly see any edges or hard corners and i am at this point fully convinced you do this on purpose, even when it comes to Vyrm's sidespikes or any claws.

2. Being able to make all characters easy to recognize yet give each your spin, even if one were to fully color any character in your art black, you can still say whats going on and who is who. 3. Expand on "blank slates", while we got all these Lore tablets by PK, we hardly know him as official, public text written as the King do not tell how he was in Person, and I for myself have adopted a few things as my HC on how your Vyrm acts in that regard, even more with his relationship with WL. Same goes for Grimm, the aspect of an eternal, ageless god seeking a quiet life after tasting all the world had to offer is very, very nice.

4. Not restricting yourself to what the game shows us, that might be just Take 2. but i feel like this should be mentioned as well, you dont just say "everyone is a bug" you go with reptiles, mammals, bugs, birds, literally everything imagineable to fit your vision of characters, especially your design of Lurien shows that being both bug & bird inspired. 5. Also Dinosaurs. Your Baryonix picture is still one of my faves, not just because Baryonix have become one of my fave dinos thanks to ARK: Survival Evolved but in general, still close to one of the more accurate renders we have while also adding your own charm, love the light blue "crest" (not sure how to call it) you added on the head especially, not just stylish but a possible feature to attract mates. You make dinosaurs look soft but not forget they were dangerous beasts.

Oh gosh this is a long one, I really appreciate this! I'll try responding to each one.

1. It is on purpose, yes! Funnily enough, it's a complete contrast to my old artstyle from over a year ago. Using Vyrm's side spikes as an example, they used to be almost perfect sharp triangles. These days I try to make the shapes in my art very round and soft, so I'm really glad this is something you like!

2. Thank you, I'm glad you think so! It's something I've been a little conflicted about sometimes. On one hand, I worry that I changed them so much they might not register as the characters they're based on. On the other, I want to draw them like this, that personal touch helps me connect to them on a much closer level, and considering Grimm and Vyrm in particular are my comfort characters, I'm trying to get rid of that doubt so I can fully embrace it. Hearing that they're still recognizable really does help!

3. Ahh I'm so happy to hear you adapted some of my interpretations into your own headcanons! It's really flattering to know that my silly rambles might have impacted how others view the original counterparts/their own interpretations.

4. Thank you! I'd just be repeating what I said in the second one, but again, it's very reassuring that people are open to my interpretations!

5. Ooooh I didn't expect this one hahaha. I'm glad you liked it! Redesigning the Jurassic World Baryonyx used to be one of my favorite things, I'm not the biggest fan of the movie design and I always found it fun to tweak it in subtle (and less subtle) ways to make it work better as the animal it's supposed to represent. And yes, I believe crest is the correct term here, it's something the movie design didn't include but I think it gives Baryonyx a lot of personality.

Okay, ah, so this has been a very controversial topic for the fandom cause a lot of peeps would misinterpret or make assumptions towards an author's intetions

So I kinda bummed out, kinda felt sad and stuck wether I should continue this idea as my artist trademark cause I had so much to share! But everytime I try to post something different and by the term different, a different approach of the fandom

First and foremost, I can do nsfw (gorey bloody, violence name it! My art just doesn't stop there) I told this on my Coraline x Wybie question

Especially on terms of adult, mature stuff, yes, I can do that too

BUT!

AS FOR THIS FANDOM THOUGH-

I had noticed from my past art that even by just a little kissing and showing a little bit of skin makes them go "WHAT?! EW THEY'RE KIDS!" or they would directly accuse the creator harsh words such as a (ped@phile) because of it 😑

And I had these burn out phases and very unmotivated, the fact of not wanting to cause any trouble, I just drew what everyone is comfortable with

I gotten tired about it now.

True, that's what media had known these characters for, because they were introduced as kids

But they're missing the point from MY perspective

I was focusing on their lives as an adult, I wanna see em being chaotic bunch of adults with a lil tint of comedy, spicy, fluff, romance as well!

These people grew older, what do you want them to be? Still at their 12-11 mindest on an adult body? Of course I had to adjust that, they're 24+ on my headcanons for pete sake.

I just wanna say this so that people that followed me here on tumblr had the chance to judge and leave or still join me from expanding all the possibles of this headcanons and my art

Especially I don't know what was going on inside everyone's mind

I don't draw characters for the sole purpose of them just to see them in a nsfw especially without any reason

I only draw one because of a certain situation, like flirting and such

(But come on, do you think I had the gut to draw them just for that purpose?🤣) I had limits too!

Hello! I finally finished the podcast episode and I really agreed with Grey's point about how the character writing for season 2 is so much worse than bad writing on something like supernatural. Because as someone who is also into bad episodic tv shows the expectations are completely different. Even if a character does something ooc or terrible it could add to the complexity of their character or it can even be completely disregarded or retconned but in a serialized show where you only have six episodes and the whole show functions as a single narrative it just doesn't work. 

Do you guys think that this season would have worked better if it was more episodic? Like having a different mystery/flashback every episode slowly building to the big reveal at the end?

Also I don't know if you guys have discussed this on the podcast but was the writing process for this really rushed? Because so much of this season felt like a first draft where they wrote the conclusion first and tried to work backwards from there but even that doesn't make sense because the only real buildup to what Aziraphale does is in the first two minisodes?? It almost makes me want to look at his tumblr but thankfully I have enough self preservation skills to avoid that.

yeah agreed it is six 50-minute long episodes you cannot be inconsistent in there!!!

grey is a big fan of sitcom omens so i think he agrees that it'd be better if it was episodic!

for me, i'm not too sure because i think the mystery itself doesn't have legs. the final ep's Big Reveal to ME is that heaven is planning to redo the apocalypse Right Fucking Now, but crowley doesn't even react to that; she's just curious about why gabriel is anti-apocalypse. the Big Reveal based on what the narrative spends time on and has all the characters gasp about becomes the gabriel/beelzebub reveal, which 1. i don't think is the reason gabriel doesn't want the apocalypse?? he said "instead of armageddon, no armageddon" before they got close??? so what was that shit even 2. is barely even related to why gabriel got mindwiped 3. doesn't answer the "why did you come to my shop?" part of the mystery. and sure, maybe if i cared about b/g At All (sorry to everyone who does like how they were implemented in the show you're all still valid etc etc) and they actually Had 3D Personalities, the way the show clumsily tries to do "you thought it was about Something Terrible coming for everyone, but it was actually about love and being on your own side, and isn't that what a/c are all about?" (at least i THINK that's what they were trying to do?) would hit, but i don't and it doesn't

i've been thinking about what the strengths of s1 are, and i think they're 1. the dynamic between a/c and how very likable they both are 2. aziraphale's pre-ex-christian arc 3. keeping the plot and stakes present throughout 4. having multiple pov characters - even if some of them got tedious, i think the whole "i wish aziraphale and crowley cared about humans more so they seemed more invested in the saving the world angle" doesn't bring s1 down too much because we see the Them and anathema and remember that these are brave and kind ppl who have lives and those lives rlly are at stake

#1 remains in s2, except for some overly corny or self-referential moments. #2 tries to be here but, as you said, it's rlly only the two minisodes that play to it, and maybe the unexpectedness of it in s2e6 is purposeful, but i would have liked to see more! #3 is floppy, limp, flaccid, even. i'm prob just repeating things i've said in recordings already but muriel and heaven pose absolutely no threat! the "fight scenes" when hell finally storms the bookshop are filmed so badly that i never even considered being stressed! the book of life threat, which i thought was the whole motivation behind all of crowley's actions in s2, comes to fruition, and crowley doesn't give a single shit and it's just luck regarding the metatron's timing that saves aziraphale's existence. #4 doesn't happen, which is why we get maggie as thee worst-written character in gomens history. it's a mess!

when you said episodic + revealing pieces of the mystery, though, if i combine that with #4, something i think COULD be fun is a the afterparty s1-esque season. basically, each ep is from a different char's POV and they're all retelling how they experienced the last week using a genre that reflects how they think. the last ep would be gabriel's pov, and we could have a longer b/g flashback series that actually feels believable there and a better explanation of why he and beelzebub are against the apocalypse, OR gabriel is the second-to-last ep so that aziraphale can get ep1 and crowley can get ep6, wherein the final fifteen happens. i'm imagining aziraphale would omit the divorce but the background of his interview would weirdly look a lot like heaven, and then finally in ep6 we cut to sloppy-drunk carly rae jepsen-blasting divorcee anthony j. crowley who fills in that last piece (though you could also swap them around). the other POV-ers would be muriel, shax, and nina (or maggie if you insist). we'd lose "a companion to owls" and some time with our ethereal girlies, but i think it would be worth it.

i actually did not know much about the s2 writing process, but i just searched around and found this post (link) summarizing an interview/con in 2022, and tl;dr, it was rushed, and it sorta WAS written ending-first! neilman pitched the general plot without the ending in august 2019, then partnered with john finnemore and came up with the ending in december 2019, then started writing in summer 2020. filming happened in late 2021-early 2022, so the two of them had ~a year? meanwhile, there's a third draft of gomens s1e1 from 2015 floating around (link), AND a lot of it is straight from a book that 1. terry pratchett was involved in 2. the authors had been trying to adapt basically since 1990. i'm assuming s3 is going to be written on a timeline similar to s2, which is part of why i have low hopes for it, though, if neilman is to be believed, at least the idea for it has been developing for longer than the idea for s2?
