Hickey going little after the lashing (or during, and it going unnoticed) and MacDonald discovering the state he's in and caring for him in that way too.. hushing him and holding him after his wounds are cared for, maybe letting him sleep in medbay and telling him a bedtime story

someone like Hickey I imagine would be usually very private about experiencing age regression (maybe Billy knows and supported him with it as his Mummy, but now they're broken up so that's not happening) but now MacDoland knows and is kind to him so it's not a terrible vulnerability to be hidden if he goes little when MacDonald checks how he's healing and tends to him

If I don't write this fic by the end of the month you have to hit me with a thousand exploding hammers.

On a more serious note, I think having something soft and gentle to turn to after the breakup would help a lot. AND ESPECIALLY after the lashing. When he's all sore and tired.

When he's really sleepy he might mumble Billy's name once or twice, but McDonald doesn't comment on it. He can guess what it's about. Instead he keeps rubbing that one spot on Hickey's back he lets him touch. And talking softly about his day, ordinary as it was...

Thinking on little hickey again..i think it takes a bit of time for him to fully trust alex & even then maybe a little wary still..but starting to give him affection in his own neil way.

I do think hes very physical touch (on his terms) with those he loves so he'll like kiss maccas cheek or cling on tight (not always at the best moments)

And asff idk like handing him croziers/irvings wallet.

It definitely takes him a while. It's all scary...

At first Neil might draw him a picture <3 or say he doesn't mind staying with Alex or that the food isn't too bad.

Later he gets a bit softer.. VwV He might lay down on top of Alex while he's sitting on the sofa, or try to hug him when he's in the middle of cooking (not as appreciated) But it still makes Macca happy :'3

Alex needs to be careful when affirming some of the ways Neil shows love though, so it doesn't get out of hand.. "yes, thank you for giving me Mr Crozier's wallet, but I think he'd be very mad at me if I kept it. Let's return it, okay?"

Actually, I'd say Heather. (Sol/Crozier parallels Anon i WILL get back to you)

Not only is Heather chill, but if Sol is feeling calm enough, they could hang out. Not sure what kind of overlap in activities they'd have, but the vibes would be awesome.

Also, favourite uncle alongside Blanky is Diggle, hands down. He loves Diggle. He's not like Blanky - he can't lift his mood up on any occasion - but he meets Frankie where he is and tunes into it and tries to make him feel better while not forcing him out of the mindset exactly.

Say Frankie is angry. Where Blanky would throw in a joke and make him smile, Diggle frowns along with him like "aw, that's not fair at all, Frankie, I see why you'd be mad about that. >:( before we get really really mad though, do you want some ice cream?"

sol having tommy a sit on top of him in the tub or pilks after theyve chugged juice and pressing on their stomach...heather may find them out but theyre already in the tub soo...& sol may have neglected to take off either of their clothes so they are soaked.

chas or neil going off with sol to play 'hose the puppy' (needs a bath for sure after that game)

They make some excuse like Sol getting spaghetti sauce all over his face and Tommy going to help him wash off.. sure, maybe he washes his face, yeah. But soon Heather begins counting minutes, suspecting something is up, when they take too long.

He's not... surprised, really. Glad they've chosen the tub over the bedroom floor, maybe.

Tommy's so happy to be spending quality time with Sol :} Even if the bathtub is crammed that way, his knees are uncomfortable, but it's still fun. And Sol is having fun too... win win! The wet clothes are an unfortunate addition... washing mashine is in the same room as the tub though, so it's fine 😊

Collins little diaper boy my beloved! Anon you’re cooking he would love to be swaddled in a warm blankie and a nice fresh diaper with a soft toy.

Blanky shows up for a meeting one day with Little Henry in tow and promptly sticks his fingers down the back of the boy’s trousers to make sure he’s dry. Francis says something along the lines of “we’ve another one in diapers now? The laundry will be endless” and Blanky swats him for making Collins blush and squirm and feel bad for not being able to keep himself dry.

Meanwhile Little is turning bright red and hoping no one notices his own bulky bottom and that Crozier doesn’t check his diaper in front of everyone.

Feel like Blanky would be pragmatic about the diapers, but not nearly as pragmatic as Crozier. If Ned let him, he'd be changing the poor lad in the middle of a meeting, if need be 😭 not to mention checking if he's wet.

Blanky first asking Henry in a hushed voice whether he's wet or not,🥺 but of course Henry won't admit that, even if he was... So Blanky announces he's going to check anyway... Sometimes makes a show of warming his hands even though he's not going to be touching henry's skin, because it makes Henry smile :3

in honor of this poll ending in 4 hours, here's a few hundred words from the fic

"Yes, thank you Helena! Well, for the few upcoming days, the temperatures will rise from last week, going up to 25 or even 28 °C in some areas, so get ready for a hot, sunny weekend!"

The rest of the forecaster's words were overshadowed by James's. "Francis, I'm deciding on the flavoring for our water for the day, which one do you feel like?"

"Go with lemonade, the boys like that one," he said, not tearing his eyes always from the forecast, searching for any warning that today might not be 100 % sunny.

"They already have theirs prepared - I was asking which one you want."

"Peach, then." Not taking umbrellas will make more space for other things, but he needs to be sure first. It's either umbrellas or swim trunks and towels. - They also can't forget the spare change of clothes for Ned. - The water play area opens after lunch, so the weather will have to stay sunny for hours. It could also rain for hours. Who knows how well the single-use raincoats will hold up…

i'm writing a Zoo trip fic.

Specifically I'm compiling all the stuff that's so far been said about zoo trips on this blog, picking out what I love most (a lot of it. maybe all of it?? idk yet), adding a lot of my own thoughts and making one big coherent fic out of it. But now I'm balancing between involving everyone and keeping it mild...

This isn't an issue of getting it done, I think I have enough inspo for all of them to get a few scenes at least, but it's an issue of "would you read that ?" I'll be very happy to write it, it's just a question of interest - whether you'd like to read something so character-dense at all. Then again this is the terror fandom we're speaking of, so my hopes are high... xDD i do want to ask anyway.

I'll give more info about the choices below cut if you want more of my thoughts before deciding. im doing this as a little break between drawing ^^ i'll get back to drawing soon i just need to chill a bit before the burnout gets me lol. (also if i end up as a pin up calendar artist, i want to be in full strength ;p)

As many characters as possible. with a lot of focus - could range anywhere from 10k to 60k words. I'm leaning towards this, but that's because i have "the more the better" disease lol. This would probably be a long collection, with several chapters/fics connecting to one another. Lots of groups hanging out together, playing, their CGs chatting in the background, or just hanging out with littles they don't get to see much otherwise. i have 1k words so far and the fic hasn't even started so maybe there could be more than 60k actually holy sh-

a group of 15-20 people at most- and all get equal focus - this would probably be the fitzier household, hodgving, sol-heather, neil-gibson, ross-gore, mcdonald-stanley and their two henrys, with silna and blanky sprinkled in. (that makes 18) As for the wordcount.. 30k maybe? im terrible at guessing wordcounts ;_;

crozier, fitzjames, ned and jop + glimpses of others - this it the idea i first started with, but i've since expanded. I can still do this one, i don't really have much written outside of it, it wouldn't be a loss. And it'd give me opportunity to explore stuff i haven't yet done with the four of them! give them space.

just crozier, fitzjames, ned and jop - i would probably keep that at 20k at MOST. im not saying i don't have ideas for them, but it's only 4 characters! there's only so much they can reasonably experience in one day before ned gets tired and starts crying🥺

Sol piss kink beam once more?? i could see him not quite holding down but laying atop a little like ned who cant hold it- just to feel the warmth spread... he's nuzzling up against him or johnny or other pups. Its just warm & soft & ok wet because hes taken the nappy or put a hand in..

Tartnell and Tommy Armitage would be good playmates: similar little age, both thrive on praise, probably want to play the same things. Lots of running, pretend play, and snack time!

I haven't thought abt them before but >_< They're cute.

Looots of running! Oh, what if Jartnell watched over them :'3 not really as a CG, just as Tom's older brother, making sure everything's okay and they're not in danger..

I can see them playing with dinosaur toys or like lego bionicle. Or action figures ^^

Catboy!crozier?!?! I think I just died from the cuteness!!

I'm picturing him as the cutest ship's cat. 😻 Imagine him getting tangled in the rigging while attempting to play and explore. Or batting at everything (Irving's precious telescope). And snuggling up with Jopson. GAHHH. So cute!

Blanky is yelling up at him like FRANK GET DOWN FROM THERE IM NOT CLIMBING UP TO GET YOU. But instead of getting down safely his leg gets stuck in some ropes and he panics and well.. Blanky has to climb up and untangle him -_-

Irving interracting with a kitty Crozier would cure me of all ailments i think ;_; He's kind of scared for his telescope so he's always standing close, hands hovering just inches away from it in case he needs to save the situation.

I wanna talk about tiny babies Ned and Johnny meeting the pups for the first time! Gore and Sol are the two that get chosen because even though they tend to play rough (ruff lol) they can be gentle.

Gore keeps trying to share his toys and lays his extremely slobbered on, ripped up favorite toy by Ned and keeps nudging it closer. Fitzmama is cringing at the grime but it’s cute and she can’t have drama with her BFF Dundy when his puppy is just trying to be nice.

Sol is in protector mode and curls up with his friend Johnny, nosing at him and nudging him and licking his cheek. (And if he keeps nosing against Johnny or Ned’s diaper to “check if they’re wet” that’s no one’s business but his)

Those are very good picks, imo. The best ones, probably.

And awww 🥺 Graham wants to play so bad.. He's probably trying a lot of different items to play with, so Ned ends up surrounded by sticks, bits of leather and plastic and rope toys, balls, chews... All sorts of stuff James would rather not have on the carpet at home but oh well... 😔

Sol is doing a very good job. Always cleaning the baby... Just careful so Johnny doesn't end up with a bald spot, haha- I think if someone let him and gave him enough blankets and pillows he'd make a little nest.. has to be very comfortable for baby!! especially if he's watching over both of them (or god forbid even more littles!). I think he'd have a tendency to herd them.

Regarding the nappies-

Sol "checking if they're wet" one too many times and someone finally notices it...

"Sol, is Johnny's diaper wet? Should I change him?"

Shakes his head way too quickly. "Nuh uh."

"... should i check it myself..?"

Sol quickly does the check again as if he wasn't nosing at him 10 seconds ago. "uh yeah he's wet you should change him" *guilty-puppy-face*

They don't say anything but Heather gives him An All-Knowing Look.

Puppy Ned is so cute omg 😭😭😭 he′s so cute,,,,

I want him to have a "playdate" with Graham. Graham lies down next to him to figure out how to play with him without overwhelming him. But Ned just goes "oh it′s my mom :)" and falls asleep on him. And now Graham is stuck bc if he moves, he will disturb the baby,,,

Also Ned tries to follow Graham around, but he′s just started learning how to walk. So Graham takes two steps, then has to wait for Ned to catch up to him. He also makes sure he doesnt fall over (he is so worried the puppy will get hurt)

When Graham is tired of looking over Ned, he will go bark at Crozier until he comes to look after the puppy. He′s telling him his nanny shift is over lol

I just think Graham would be so gentle with puppy Ned 💖 it′s a bit scary that he got assigned Mom by him but he′ll manage
