How do you feel about Gojo growing back his arm in perfect condition and leaving this battle without any scars? 🎤

i was a hundred percent sure that he wouldn't kept his scars from when he got sliced and diced, so while that was disappointing at least it was expected, i knew not to hope for it. but gojo keeping his arm was even more disappointing. i was hoping completely regrowing his arm wasn't something gojo would be capable of doing because of the distinction between heian sorcerers and modern sorcerers, that maybe sorcerers from the past (and sukuna especially) are just better at RCT than gojo could ever be because of the ways jujutsu was practiced back then, or something.

it also adds on to the lack of stakes jjk has problems with recently. a lot of the sukuna vs gojo battle was "oh no! gojo's in trouble! SIKE" -> "oh no are things turning worse for gojo?? haha jk" rise and repeat and so forth. the stakes feel awfully superficial, one second the stake was there then the next it's just completely gone, gojo and sukuna continued to fight like nothing happened despite the brain damage among other things, and gojo regrowing his arm only adds to that already piling issue. continuing the fight with one arm would at least give gojo a bit of a handicap, and would make it more interesting, giving him some sense of urgency to get it over with and explode sukuna along with himself and the entire town in one fell swoop. but... no... gojo just did everything flawlessly and seemingly effortlessly. there's no intrigue or excitement. isn't regrowing an entire limb supposed to be hard? i get he's the strongest and all, but when he does everything so easily even after the brain damage and CT burnout... that title feels empty. if gege really wants him to keep both his arms, just have him casually pick up his severed arm after he beat sukuna up, then make him reattach it. it'd at least be cool <- guy who's biased

there's a reason gojo vs the curse family was one of the most memorable and iconic fights, both sides were struggling and hanging by a rope despite how much gojo overpowers the rest of them. both sides understand the stakes at hand and what would happen if they fail. their lives and the future depend on the outcome of that battle - or at least what it leads up to

gojo vs sukuna just feels like the finals of an illegal boxing championship

#so here’s the thing-#and I am in awe of anyone who watched that episode who took those crumbs #and they were indeed literal crumbs and accepted it #but that doesn’t change the fact that we were robbed- and not just robbed #but the clip of Maya Rudolph at the Emmys this year where she pronounces robbed as ROB-BA-DAH #like explaining it here does no justice but I promise you it’s amazing #but we were told this is a big Tarlos episode #this would have a scene they couldn’t believe they got on tv- better than the second episode we were told #but this is the big Tarlos addresses their problems episode #and here’s what we got- one scene of them in therapy- almost all of which was released as a preview #like the only thing missing was the dinner scene #and also it’s unfair to say it’s such steamy scene when it goes nowhere because someone falls asleep #and the lack of context we have been given - it would have been better to jump right from the premiere to this one #because we were given nothing outside of the premiere to think they would do this #because the show doesn’t take the time to let us see these problems outside of one episode #like honestly this isn’t about TK or Carlos #because yes it’s like these issues aren’t easily fixed #but these issues should be addressed and especially since Carlos doesn’t seem like he would want to do this #and we’re told this in the 120 seconds we see of them in therapy #that it would be worthwhile to take the time to explain how they got there #but to say this is a big Tarlos episode - and their therapy scene is over before the title card #and to not see them together at all before they resolve everything #like we deserved more #we were told we were getting more #like to each and every fanfic writer out there let me grab you by the shoulders and tell you this #I wish you had written this season. #i haven't even watched s2 yet also when i tell you i saw official merch in a mall and i JUMPED at it #i could ramble abt link click all day #the animation ofc is gorg even if it can look a bit goofy and off model sometimes #THE STORYTELLING.... insanity (affectionate)#the first episode is extremely compelling from the get go with no bulky exposition it's conveyed naturally and immediately introduces us to #-the main 'gimmick' for lack of a better word and still hits so many emotional beats in the FIRST EPISODE #characterises our main trio (less so qiao ling but we see her more later) AND fleshes out a stranger's life in 20 minutes????#(the whole thing is that they dive back in time thru photos to solve clients problems so each episode introduces us to new strangers with-#-different backstories and problems and characterisation and the DEPTH with which they're portrayed is lovely)#all while also furthering our understanding of the main duo of cheng xiaoshi and lu guang AND with broader story things happening in the bg #not to mention ofc the chinese title of the donghua is 时光代理人 quite literally time agents and the way i was like waitttt #程小时 as in xiaoshi like hours and 陆光 put it tgt and u got the shiguang in the title as in time so they complement each other.... oughhh #but yeah the way they handle levity and humour and balance it with drama and tragedy is perfect godd it's wonderful #link click #personal

you know when something happens and you're like "eh that's annoying but not a big deal" and then hours later your brain pops back in like "hey! surprise!! i'm actually super upset about this!"

they werent lying that knuckles series barely has knuckles in it

#i pirated that shit Btw just so we're clear. also gonna talk about it a little bit in the tags #nothing too spoilery but also might not wanna read if you want to go in knowing absolutely nothing? idk #anyway he WAS a main character still he was present for a decent amount of the first couple episodes #but the amount of screentime he gets just starts dropping after that . hes barely there at all in the second half ???#and it feels like theres a lot of scenes mostly focusing on wade and his problems and not near as many for knuckles and his whole deal #overall it feels more like a wade show with knuckles in it than a knuckles show with wade in it. which sucks #and human characters having plot relevance isnt the problem here i dont mind human characters at all i think they can be really fun #its the fact that the human characters are taking over the story and spotlight when the show is called knuckles #and all the marketing makes it look like knuckles is the main focus #and i also would have preferred if they just went with a differnet character to be knuckles' human friend #because i dont particulraly care about wade. and the knuckles (and sonic and tails) i know would not be friends with cops </3 #well at least the story wasnt knuckles training wade to be a better cop like a lot of people were expecting but thats like.the bare minimum #also aside from the issues relating to knuckles' screentime (or lack of screentime) i thought the ending was unsatisfying #regardless of all that though there WERE some parts i enjoyed or found kind of funny or whatever. because knuckles so cutesy as always #knuckles being a cute little guy is the most important part of the show actually #and i liked the parts with sonic tails and maddie even if they were only there for like 5 minutes #(i really wish those three had gotten more screentime. i feel like they could have easily worked in at least one more scene with them)#and its a minor thing but the opening sequence is cute. was honestly expecting just a title card or something #overall the show is just . kind of okay i guess. not the worst thing ive ever seen but still disappointing ? idk how to explain..#my expectations also werent very high in the first place #so maybe im being a bit more generous than i would have been otherwise. idk #and i definitely would not recommend this to anyone who already dislikes the sonic movies . youll probably hate this more #like people who thought the human characters got too much screentime in the second movie would lose their minds if they saw this

Is. Is Family from Super Mario Galaxy seriously not on the Nintendo Music app- AND ACTUALLY POST CANCELLED it seems the playlists are actually just Best Of playlists (at least for Galaxy) and if there's song missing you need to look it up individually!

#the more i use this app the more i realize i don't. like it!#it's a fine app but i have some issues with it ghcbcdf #it like constantly loses connection #i kind of understand but don't enjoy that you can't set a loop timer for non looping songs cause you can still put them on repeat #not a point against it but i wish there were more non switch titles on it too i'm excited for more stuff to get added #but ooough the lack of a sleep timer really annoys me because i KNOW the only reason it doesn't have one is cause of Alarmo #like i know i shouldn't complain i'm literally using my brother's Nintendo Switch online and leeching off of him fhdhdhd BUT LIKE #it needs work. i'm hoping it'll get better over time cause I've wanted this for a while

#pokemon teal mask #i did not like the story outcome. the forced dialogue options were upsetting. i do not like carmine at all #and i dont like that they made her be the new friend and not kieran. second half of the dlc better let him tell her off #and on a smaller note the we love loyalty plaza sidequest kinda sucks too but it is meant to be a lil bit like that #anyway between this and having to steal the champion title away from hop in swsh its becoming kind of a bummer to be the main character now #maybe the lack of control and having to lie in the dialogue is an elaborate take to make the players understand being in a #situation with a controlling older sibling #but thats probably giving them too much credit
