Day 2: Being Homeless
I can’t even recline my car seat back all the way because of lack of space. I can’t comfortably stretch my legs. I feel confined. I fear that someone will catch me sleeping in my car and call the police (sleeping in your car is illegal)
For direct aid:

At work today as the parents picked their kids from school they were excited for their weekend plans. While I was happy for them I felt the overwhelming dread of the fact after I clock out I have to go back to my car. Back to my reality of being homeless.
I guess in a sense when I’m at work I don’t feel homeless because I was housed while hired and majority of my employment. After I clock out I can see my belongings from a distance as I walk to my car and I know my coworkers see it too. I wonder what kind of things they’re saying about me
Please help me have safe permanent housing.

Have you ever spotted a fairy lantern? Members of the genus Thismia, these plants don’t use chlorophyll to photosynthesize. Instead, they feed on fungi in the soil. Growing just a few centimeters tall, their unusual-looking, vibrant flowers bloom briefly to attract pollinating insects—like fungus gnats. There are more than a hundred known species of this elusive plant around the planet, ranging from parts of Asia to Australia to the Americas.
