An assortment of headcanons I have about Disco Bear cuz he just kinda popped up in my mind:

"Disco Bear" is a stage name, his real name is Honey.

He's autistic; his obsession with disco music and its related aesthetics is a special interest, and he tends to stim by dancing or fluffing his hair.

He's also bisexual, though his attraction does skew more towards women.

He was in fact alive during the 70s, but the same curse that keeps the Tree Friends in an endless loop of death and resurrection also causes a lot of timey wimey fuckery, so he's nowhere near what most people would consider old, at least not physically.

Much of his family shares a similar personality quirk of being obsessed with a certain music genre and living their lives in accordance to it.

He, Nutty and Flaky have their own little friend group, forming it around the fact that they're kinda seen as the resident "losers" of the town.

He's not particularly close to Pop, but did have a one-sided crush on him for a while... It ended when he saw how terrible Pop is at keeping his kid alive.

He has a lot of sympathy for Flippy, having his own struggles with being neurodivergent; he often lets Flippy vent his frustrations to him and tries to offer him advice on healthy coping mechanisms.

He has a secret spooky side and his favorite holiday is Halloween because of it.

He likes other kinds of music, and in fact has a vast knowledge of various genres, but disco will always reign supreme in his heart.

😇 OH MY GOD is He the perfect partner to have if you're autistic.

😇 He isn't a fan of loud sounds either, so he also has noise reduction earmuffs and can lend you a pair!

😇 He will drag you to the craft store and have you pick out the softest yarns and this man will knit you everything from weighted blankets, sweaters, he can even make weighted plushies!!!

😇 If ya'll are watching something and you need to busy your hands, he's got the perfect job for you. He's got a stockpile of yarn that needs winding and it's quite soothing to you both.

😇 Overstimulated? He's already memorized the warning signs of a shutdown and he's rushing to get you out as soon as he can.

😇 Finds it absolutely adorable when you infodump. He's very attentive, even asking questions so you can talk about it more. The way your eyes sparkle when you go on about your passions is beautiful to him.

😇 CUDDLES MANY CUDDLES ARE TO BE HAD

😇 I'd say the only point of contention between you two is your picky eating. Obviously, certain textures you can't handle and he doesn't force you to eat them. But he does try to get you to expand your pallette now and then. He saw quite a few men in his tours be picky eaters and they became malnourished, he doesn't want the same for you.

😈 So he doesn't exactly understand and initially sees you as very weak. How have you been able to survive for so long if even sunlight bothers you?

😈 However, the first time he sees you have a shutdown, he doesn't see you initially, he sees Flippy when he first came into existence. Scared, helpless, and in desperate need of protection. From then on, he takes your needs seriously. He's still abrasive, but he's trying his best.

😈 Anyone gives you shit about your earmuffs, or Stims? Yeah, they aren't long for this world.

😈 If one of your special interests is war, oh boy will he light up and tell you all about his glory days. Every kill, every mission, he lays it all out with a prideful smirk. Weapons as a special interest? He's got a huge collection and he's more than happy to play show and tell.

😈 Will let you borrow his jacket if you need something weighted. The guy is always carrying some kind of heavy weapon, and also he loves how you look in it.

😈 Now when he sees you start to shutdown, it is ON SIGHT. He's destroying everything and everyone that's stressing you out.

😈 He also likes to cuddle, but he doesn't like to admit it.

seb really likes little inconspicuous things he can stim with . he gets fidgety when he's thinking or getting anxious . most of the time he stims with his lighter . ( he's actually pretty dexterous with it ) . when going through the mines , he prefers weapons he can stim with as well ( specifically karambit knives . they go flippy flip around his fingers and it makes him very happy . )

These are most of my stim toys.

My favorites have to be my little key chew thing (I have TMJ, so normal chewelry hurts my jaw a lot, so I have to use the kind geared toward weaker jaws), the collection of tiny things I have (there is a wolf pup, a tiger, an alligator, a moon, and a little round clear stone), the mesh tube with the marble inside it, and the rainbow fidget cube.

My ultimate favorite stim toy is one of those flippy bike chain things; I used to have one but I don't know where it is anymore. I need to get one.
