Thought I would draw my druid halfling tav! Called Cafray but nicknamed “Moggy” in their childhood cult. Still in the works as I don’t actually have a laptop that can run bg3 until next month :’(
This drawing is teeny tiny so don’t look too close. Eeeeee I have so much lore to share, they have an outlander background btw :3

Karlach: you don't understand, Soldier, it's been a decade since I last experienced a friendly touch. I'm starving for it
Sivvus: a decade? Indeed. I last managed eight blessed years before my younger sister broke the streak by embracing me from behind without permission upon returning from a nine year sojourn to the Underdark of your Faerun for her research purposes. While I missed her to an adequate degree, I wish she had taken the time to bathe prior to enforcing her flesh upon mine.
Karlach: You're a special kind if bitch, aintcha Snobbus
Sivvus: *jaw flexes* quite.

Let Them Try
Are you also constantly thinking about how even if Bells Hells wins the day, Orym still has that bargain he made with Nana Morri waiting to ruin his happy ending? Or are you normal?
Anyway, here's a fic:
And in the blink of an eye, it’s done.
A laugh pulls itself from Imogen’s throat as Laudna slams into her, holding the sorceress tightly.
“Well, I definitely didn’t expect that,” Fearne says as Ashton cackling behind her. He shoves Braius in the shoulder as Chetney howls with joy.
Dorian let’s his eyes scan over them, a smile of disbelief on his face. They did it. They actually manged to stop Ludinus.
It’s over.
He lets his eyes fall on Orym, who is staring at Dorian like he’s never allowed himself to before. Laughter bubbles from Dorian’s mouth as he drops his ancestral sword and lute to the ground. Tears prick at the corners of his eyes as he runs for Orym. They collide, and Dorian lifts Orym into his arms, spinning up into the air as he laughs like a mad man.
They get to try. There’s a future now, and they get to see if they can walk through it together.
Orym clings to the back of Dorian’s shirt as if he’s worried Dorian will disappear.
Dorian falls to his knees and holds Orym at arms length. He cups Orym’s face and leans close.
It’s been on the tip of Dorian’s tongue since Orym’s desperate sending stone message weeks ago. The genasi has wanted to say it, but couldn’t find the right moment. Even falling asleep with Orym in his arms last night (that was last night? It feels like it was months ago…), Dorian couldn’t get the words right.
But now…he can say it now.
“Orym, I—”
Dorian cuts himself off as Orym steps away. His hands linger in the air, reaching for the halfling. There’s a question on his lips, but he stops when he sees the vines snaking out from under Orym’s armor.
“Oh no.”
Dorian looks over his shoulder and sees Fearne staring at Orym with a look of horror that he’s never seen on her face before.
“What’s wrong?” Dorian asks, reaching for Orym again.
The halfing dodges, but his movements are stilted. The vines aren’t just coming from under his armor. They’re bursting out of his skin. “I…I had to, Fearne.”
Horror turns to anger on the faun’s face.
“Orym, what the hell is happening?” Dorian demands.
The halfling studies him with an intensity that nearly makes Dorian shrink back. When Orym opens his mouth to respond, he chokes. Vines erupt from his mouth, strangling the words. It’s a horrifying mirror to the Wildmother’s blessing in Vasselheim as the vines engulf Orym’s small frame. Flowers blossom along the twisted cocoon.
Dorian lunges forward. He pulls at the vines, flinching as the thorns rip at his flesh. He feels Fearne’s hands on his shoulders, but Dorian will not be deterred. He wrenches at a vine, but it withers in his hand. The ash blows from his palm. He looks up to Orym and gasps. He feels Fearne collapse against his back as they watch the vines die just as fast as they grew.
There’s nothing there. Orym is gone.
~
After much discussion, it’s decided that Dorian and Fearne will enter Ligament Manor. They argued that a massive party would rub Nana Morri the wrong way. It had taken hours to talk down Orym’s sisters-in-law and the Voice of the Tempest.
“He deserves a happy ending, Dorian,” Keyleth had said to him. She pulled him away from the group into her private quarters. She wanted to speak with him before they left for the Feywild. “Of everyone, he deserves peace.”
Her eyes drift to the slightly ajar door off this sitting room. Dorian knows the man they rescued from the Malleus Key is resting there. He’s heard the story whispered many times. If he survives, he may just turn it into a ballad.
Dorian nods at the Tempest, and she presses up to her tiptoes to kiss his forehead. If she blesses him, Dorian has no idea, but he’s filled with a warmth he hasn’t felt since he last saw his mother.
“Bring him home, Dorian, please.”
There is no question that all of Bells Hells would travel to the Feywild with Fearne and Dorian, but they remain on outskirts of Morri’s domain.
“I’ll be able to hear you if you call,” Imogen says, tapping her forehead. “Just give us the signal, and we’ll come runnin’”
“We’ll be fine,” Fearne reassures them. Dorian is sure she’s ignoring the growing number of eyes staring at the party from the thick canopy above.
In his head, he hears, “You’ll holler if it gets bad?”
“Of course,” he silently answers back. “But hopefully it won’t come to that.”
Ashton pulls Fearne into a hug and lifts a trinket from her dress. She clearly notices, biting them on the nose before brushing a kiss against their cheek.
Dorian aches for the soft touch of Orym’s skin.
“We’ll be back before you know it,” Fearne says.
~
“I think we’re all blowing this out of proportion,” Fearne says as they approach the massive tree house. She’s trying to act more confident than she appears. Dorian’s known her long enough to see the panic she’s trying to hide. “All we’ll have to do it talk to her. It’s not like these bargains are a big deal or anything.”
“Mm hm,” Dorian offers, desperately trying not to think of the topiaries and powerful archfey turned into wall art.
He stops short of entering the home and turns to Fearne. “He never said anything about this?” he asks.
Fearne looks a him for a moment before averting her eyes. Guilt presses heavily on her shoulders.
“Once. That night with the sword business. With Delilah. He mentioned it, but I never brought it back up. We just got so caught up with everything…” She trails off and turns away.
'No time' echoes in Dorian’s head. He catches Fearne’s shoulder and gently moves her to face him again.
“None of us asked,” Dorian said. “That night was…a lot. But we can make it right now.”
Fearne quickly wipes the tears that have rolled down her cheeks. “He was never okay, Dorian. I should have…”
“I think we’re all guilty of not recognizing his turmoil,” Dorian said, squeezing her shoulder. “He is always so concerned about everyone else. He likes to say he’s not a leader, but he puts everyone ahead of himself.”
Fearne clutches his hand on her shoulder. “He doesn’t get to do that anymore.”
“You’ll help me make sure?” he asks with a soft smile.
Her eyes glistening, Fearne nods, and they head into the manor.
~
Their welcome is more subdued than last time. The flowers remain closed, but still move as if watching Fearne and Dorian pass. The bard has his lute in his hands, but his fingers are still. He has a song at the ready should he need it. He’s been working on it for quite some time.
The thick walls of the tree trunk echo their footfalls as the pair move up the stairs. Fearne’s expression is pinched. She steps lighter than she normally would. Dorian keeps a pace behind her, humming to himself.
Orange light flickers at the top of the stairs, bending the shadows menacingly. Dorian’s step stutters, his eyes seeing a stretch of a spider’s web against the light. He breaths through his fear and hurries to keep up with Fearne.
They crest the top of the stairs into the parlor. The tiki bar is cleaned and tidy on the far end of the room, and the large, cracked leather easy chair is vacant. The sconces on the walls dim as they enter, leaving the room a deep umber color.
“This isn’t normal, is it?” Dorian asks. “Normal of course being relative—”
“Fearnie?”
The pair freezes and turns to the stairwell leading to the tree top. Orym has a hand on the bannister and one foot still on the last stair. He’s healed from whatever hurts he sustained during the battle with Ludinus. The vines didn’t seem to do anything to harm him. There’s a tension in the way he’s holding himself as if he’s surprised they’re here.
That look breaks Dorian’s heart.
Orym’s eyes land on Dorian, and he inhales deeply.
“Fearne, dear!” Nana Morri’s voice booms from the opposite side of the room. A door that wasn’t there a moment ago closes behind her. “I hadn’t expected to see you again so soon, though I suppose whisking your friend away so quickly would necessitate a visit.”
Fearne runs forward and clings to her grandmother. Dorian can’t blame her. He genuinely didn’t think they would get out of there. He can only imagine how he’s going to react when he sees his father and mother again.
“Nana,” Fearne says as she pulls away. “I came to ask a favor.”
“Did you?” Morri says, her long neck craning to look over at Dorian. “And you brought the cute boy with. Interesting.” Her head turns to Orym. “Very interesting, indeed.”
Dorian bites his lip, fighting his instinct to speak. Fearne said she could make this work. He has to trust her.
“Nana—”
Her grandmother takes Fearne’s hand in her own. Her long fingers wrap twice around her grand daughter’s wrists. “I don’t mean to cut you off, my dear. You know that I would do most anything for you. But I know what you’re going to ask.”
“Oh?” Fearne says, trying to act surprised.
“I know you care for this man,” she says, nodding towards Orym. “But he made a bargain. I honored my end, and now he is honoring his. This is the way of things.”
“But Nana, he—”
“Is an adult who made his choice.”
“Fearnie, you didn’t have to do this,” Orym says. He still hasn’t moved, but he’s very deliberately not looking at Dorian. “I knew what I was doing.”
Dorian feels a deep anger well up in his stomach. It fights with the love he holds for Orym. The emotions burst out of him, despite his best effort to keep them in.
“Making a bargain to save your friends?” He says, an incredulous laugh causing his voice to break. Orym looks at the floor with a flinch. “After everything with the crown, I thought you would know better.”
“Dorian, I had to.”
And Dorian gets it. He really does. He can’t go back in time and stop Orym from offering up his future to make sure his friends would be safe. But he can try to fix things now.
Dorian looks to Nana Morri, who is leering at him with increasing curiosity. “Would you like to bargain, young man?”
Orym's eyes go wide. He moves to say something, but Dorian doesn't give him the chance.
“I’ve come to collect what wasn’t Orym’s to trade.”
Nana Morri laughs from both her mouths, a high pitched cackle and a deep, bassy chuckle. “You know, I’ve heard that one a few times before. But he was never yours, dear boy. You two made no promises or pacts.”
Dorian clears his throat. “No, he belonged to another. The sword and shield he carries are proof of that devotion. He belongs to his husband and his family, the Ashari and Bells Hells. He never should have bargained.”
Morrigan beckons Orym and the halfing steps closer to her. She raps a knobby knuckle on his armor. “No mention of this? I understand it was gifted by someone who loves him as well.”
Dorian looks right at Orym. “Yes, it was.”
“Nana…” Fearne whispers, still tucked into her grandmother’s side. “Please?”
Morrigan looks from Orym to Fearne before fixing Dorian with a calculating look. “This is old magic, my boy. I’m just as bound by it as he is. My grand daughter cares for you both deeply, and technically, the little metal creature died on your mission, even if your band had already been back on Exandria. My end of the deal was fulfilled.” The Fatestitcher cocks her head. “However, if you had something to offer? Perhaps we could trade back?”
“Dorian, you don’t have to—”
“Stop it,” Dorian all but shouts. “You deserve a happy ending, Orym. We had to hold back a whole legion of folk who wanted to storm this place just to give you a chance at one. You’ve carried so much for so long. Let me do this for you. Please.”
He takes a deep breath, pawing at his eyes with the back of his wrist. He blinks away the moisture there and readies himself.
“I offer you a song, my lady,” he says.
And he plays.
It’s not a love song. Dorian isn’t experienced enough for such things, and he doesn’t want the come to come across as saccharine or sappy. The song isn’t about him or his intense feelings for Orym. It’s a song about the fighter. The survivor. A man who managed to get back up after every fall. Who only wanted to do right by those he holds tightest in his heart. It’s a song about a man who constantly steps in the line of fire to protect those he loves.
But it’s not a love song.
Dorian feels like he plays for hours. Stars are born and burn brightly and then wink out as he continues. His forearms burn and his fingers bleed. His voice cracks on the high notes. But he powers through. He finishes. His lute falls from his hands and he crashes to his knees. His breathing is a ragged gasp.
He looks up, avoiding the looks on Fearne’s and Orym’s faces. He can’t bear to look at them right now. Dorian only has eyes for Morrigan, who has stepped closer to him as he played. There’s a hunger in her eyes, but she blinks it away as Fearne tugs at her spindly fingers.
“Quite a song,” Morrigan says.
“Y-you…honor me…with your praise,” Dorian pants. His throat is on fire.
The Fatestitcher raises up to her full height. “You are lucky my Fearne loves you both,” she says. “You cannot just take him, Dorian Storm. As I said, there are rules in place.” She runs a finger down her chin. “I will free him from his bargain, but you must return here each month when Catha waxes full. You will play for me, and I will enjoy the attentions of the Master Muse and Son of the Wind. And perhaps, you’ll bring your large friend with you. Doomseed was his name, I believe.”
“Oh, thank you, Nana!” Fearne shouts. She leaps at her grandmother and nearly tackles her to the ground. “Thank you so much!”
Dorian’s arms shake as he tries to push himself up. He winces, finally managing, as familiar boots appear in front of him. Dorian lifts his head and looks into Orym’s eyes. There’s fury there, and incredulity and desperation that Dorian has never seen directed his way before. He flinches under that intensity.
“Did you really think we weren’t going to come?” Dorian asks after he catches his breath. His cheeks flush purple as tears shimmer in the corners of his eyes. “You thought—”
Dorian’s words are cut off as Orym crashes their mouths together. They topple over; Orym straddling Dorian’s chest as he frames the genasi’s face in his hands.
“I love you,” Orym whispers against Dorian’s mouth. “I thought I wouldn’t get to say it, but I love you so much.”
Recovering from his shock, Dorian pulls Orym tight against him. He kisses the confession from the halfling’s mouth, trying to tamp down his anxiety over his lack of experience. They’re both panting when they pull back to stare at each other.
“I do too…as well,” Dorian says, his voice still hoarse. “Love you, I mean.”
Orym laughs, resting his head on Dorian’s chest. “I figured.”
The genasi squeezes him tighter and drops a kiss into Orym’s hair. He can hear the rest of the Bells Hells below. Fearne must have called Imogen. He’s excited to see them, but part of him wants to hide Orym away. He wants his little fighter all to himself for at least a little while.
Orym reads his thoughts. “We’ve got nothing but time now.” He kisses the skin he can reach over Dorian’s collar bone. Dorian nuzzles in closer, uncaring who sees.

When my time comes around
Murph [narrating]: Hardwon, you are in this strange, in between world. {Kingshammer begins playing in the background} Like, the Feywild right now looks like an oil painting, like it's gray and white, and you can vaguely see what's going on, but it's all blurry. And you hear a bunch of voices in the distance. You hear the voice of Gemma, in the distance going:
Gemma [Murph, whispering]: Hardwon, it's not your time yet, Hardwon. Hardwon, we'll be together but not now.
Hardwon [Jake]: Gemma.
Murph: You hear another voice calling to you.
Elias Stormborn [Murph]: Son, join me in the halls of Isgard.
Murph: And from somewhere else, you hear dissonant whispers, but amongst them you recognize the voice of the Widow.
Lydia Stormborn (The Widow) [Murph]: We can get out together, we can get out together.
Hardwon: Mother?
{Kingshammer slowly fades out}
Lay me gently in the cold, dark earth
Moonshine [Emily]: {Gutless plays in the background} Um, I just wanna remind you, not every problem needs to be fixed, but, if you want, I can reincarnate you.
Hardwon [Jake]: I wanna die, real bad.
[Caldwell laughs]
Moonshine: Okay, well, I'm gonna take that as a positive because if you die, then I can reincarnate ya.
Hardwon: Take it whatever way you want [chuckles]. Uh, but no, I, yeah, no, that's, that's the right interpretation.
Moonshine [overlapping]: Hardwon -
Hardwon: I w - I -
Moonshine: I really don't want you to want to die, because I want you to live so much and I don't wanna be alone in that feelin'.
Hardwon: I don't wanna die. I wanna - I wanna - I wanna live again.
No grave can hold my body down
Murph [narrating]: And you guys hear its voice, uh, simultaneously echoing through the cave and also sounding like it's right over your shoulder, somebody whispering into your ear.
[Emily hums in acknowledgement]
Death [Murph]: Hardwon Surefoot.
Beverly [Caldwell]: Woah!
Hardwon [Jake]: 'Sup?
Death: {The Purge starts playing in the background} You should be dead.
Hardwon: Yeah, looks like you can't do your job right, can ya? [Caldwell chuckles]
Death: The reason I can't do my job is because people like Beverly and Moonshine break the laws of death.
Hardwon: Careful, you're talking about my family.
I'll crawl home to her
Murph [narrating]: {Oh, Melora! plays in the background} Hardwon, your spirit, um, flies into this body. Uh, you see, Melora picks it up, pulls him out of the sea, and brings half-elf Hardwon into this, um, demiplane with all you guys.
[Caldwell laughs]
--
Hardwon [/Jake]: {Tale's End plays in the background} I smash my forehead against Moonshine's, too. [Emily laughs in delight] And say, hey, if I was gonna come back as anything, I'm proud to come back as half of you.
When my time comes around
Hardwon [Jake]: But, Beverly and Moonshine? They don't need me. [pauses] And, and I have to be okay with that.
--
Hardwon: {A Memory plays in the background} But I'm coming to understand the reality - that they're gonna stay as strong and heroic as we all once were, and I'm going to fade away.
Lay me gently in the cold dark earth
Hardwon [Jake]: Um, do me one, one favor? If I start to slow you down {bird chirping sound in background}, you leave me behind.
No grave can hold my body down
Hardwon [Jake]: {metal guitar music plays in the background} Hardwon kips up.
Murph [narrating]: Your eyes are closed, you're knocked out, you remember the last time you were knocked out by an avatar of Gruumsh, you know you can't let that happen again. Just pure, force of will, you jolt your heart and get it going again, and you kip up.
--
Murph [narrating]: {The Hexblood Centurions plays in the background} Hardwon, you are suddenly jolted back awake with the help of Sol, you see Sol hovering over you.
Hardwon [Jake]: Oh, my god -
Sol [Caldwell]: Hey.
Hardwon: - do I love the smell of mushrooms after I wake up from death. [Caldwell laughs]
I'll crawl home to her
Hardwon [Jake]: [other cast members laughing throughout] Moonsh - Moonshine, if you can hear me, I'll be there tomorrow. I'll be there tomorr- I'm coming. As fast as I can.

F. Love me nonironically
Spoiler for episode 42
It's a normal day or as much as it can be in the feywild. The crew was walking. Gricko was ridding on Hootsie at the front. Frost was walking next to him. While Torbek was way behind the rest of the crew.
Kremy and Gideon had been walking in the middle, occationally talking. Gideon was holding Twig who was still a puppet. Sometimes he tells her things she would see, if she was awake. Gideon often liked to pretend that she could hear him.
Kremy had once again been asking him about their marrige an' Gideon was so tired of it.
"Our marrige is non ironic right gid?" Kremy felt pathetic trying to trick gid, but Kremy did manage to trick him. Gid said yes and for a short moment Kremy felt like he was on top of the world. After the moment passed he realised he had tricked gid. He felt like shit.
~
Gideon continued cradling Twigsy in his arms. He was happy that she was alright. Their little family was gonna be alright. Kremy wouldn't say it, but Gideon was sure he too would've been real sad if Twigsy had been... gone.
They had walked all day and Kremy was feeling like shit. He had tricked gid into saying he respected their relationship and Gid had just continued pointing out things to Twig and ocationally said something to Kremy. Kremy would always answer him, but it was not enough to be called a conversation.
~
Gricko could see the smile on Gideons face. He could also see the ashamed look on Kremy's face. He had learned not to ask Kremy about this. So he asked Gideon "Why the love dumb look?" Even thogh Gideon looked at his partner like that all the time.
"No reason" Gideon was confused by Gricko's questioning. Kremy always cooked and Gideon always adored watching him work. He has no clue how Kremy does it. Right now his theory is it's magic.
Gricko knew Frosty would be telling him not to pry, but Gricko was far too curious to let this go. "If the look on your face is just the usual one. Whats with Kremy's?"
"Don'cha have better things to do?" Att which Gricko started babbling on about Hootsie. Gideon then realised somethin' was up with Kremy, he had been acting all weird since asking again about their marrige.
Kremy had given Twig a portion of food, even if she wasn't answering. He had also made sure gid had a little extra food, it had been a hard day. As he was sitting down next to gid and Twig, he felt a wave of guilt at having tricked Gideon. The poor man had other things and people to be worried about, than Kremy's little crush.
~
Gideon had already set up his tent an' layed Twigsy down for bed when he heard something outside the tent. He lifted his fists ready for a foe, since no-one was suppose'to be up anymore. Kremy had gone to his tent ages ago and everyone else had soon followed. Exept for him and Twigsy who had stayed behind. Watching the fire for a little longer and if a certain cold blooded husband of his stayed warmer for a little longer cos' of it—
"Gid are you still awake"
"Speak of the devil" He whispered quietly to Twigsy and then told Kremy to come in. He instantly noticed something was off. Kremy seemed odd. Usually he was sly and smooth as butter, but now he was looking at his shoes in shame.
Kremy could feel Gideons eyes on him. Kremy lifted his eyes seeing gid pat the spot on his bedroll next to him. The guilt suddenly made Kremy feel like pukking, but he did sit next to Gideon. "Gid I'm sorry. I tricked you."
Gideon had definetly not been expecting this. "Kremy. What the hell are you talking about" "I asked if our marrige was non ironic insteat of if it was ironic" Kremy had closed his eyes and his head was slightly turned. He looked like he was prepared for impact.
Kremy had expected at least yelling insted he heard a jovial "I'knew that. Tell me what else is new? Is the sky not blue?" And kremys tongue moved faster than his brain. "But you answered yes" If gid had heard him correctly why had he answered yes. Was he mocking Kremy? He looked to his side where gid was still smiling and chuckling definetly mocking him for stating the obvious, but he had no ill intent in his eyes.
Gideon calmed down and answered "Yes our marrige isn't ironic to me an' based on the "HEY! You do NOT speak to my husband that way!" it isn't to ya either." Then he started laughing again.
Kremy looked away a little ashamed at his previous outburst. He scooted a little closer to gid. Not touching him, but looking up at him. Baron bless him, Gideons smile was the most beatiful thing he'd ever seen. Gid leaned closer touching the small of his back, and Kremy took his chance and kissed him.
They kissed, hugged and talked a bit more. Eventually gid layed down, taking Kremy with him. They both say goodnight to Twig, who was "sleeping" peacefully next to them. Gid took her in his arm's. He pulled Kremy closer kissed his forehead and said good night. Gideon fell asleep instantly. Kremy held onto him and whispered "Good night gid. Love you" He felt the little self precervaiting thought to say ironically, but he dispelled it from his mind instead whispering. "Non ironically"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
F. Kremy in the end asks Gideon twisting the question trying to trick him into saying no "Our marriage is non irronic right gid" and Gideon says yes. The guilt eats away at Kremy until after everyone has gone to bed he goes to Gideon and asks if he noticed the twisting of the question and Gideon did.
Gideon belives Kremys cooking to be magic
⇒Here are some of my other ideas if you wanna cheak em out!⇐
Thank you for reading!

Dungeonclown D20 “Rankings”
In quotes bc i love pretty much all of them and just had to post this for posterity and if one of my friends asks which season(s) to watch. [Bullet Points not in any particular order]
Level 0: did not finish
Pirates of Leviathan (lovely cast but i couldnt get all the way thru due to audio quality issues from being the first remotely recorded show.)
Shriek Week (gabe hicks)
Coffin Run (didn’t hold my interest)
Level 1: I Really Like This 😊
Fantasy High Sophomore Year (i love this season, literally the only downside was the livestream format. No!!)
Fantasy High (OG - we’ve come so far)
Tiny Heist (i mean, so darling, so funny. what so u expect)
Mice & Murder (better quality for remote but could tell the cast would have killed it in person since the zoom call situation is a big barrier)
Misfits & Magic (very cute and wholesome. Spaulding forever)
The Seven (needed more episodes to tell the story!!! wish they had sets and minis; covid problems)
Neverafter (love the themes and imagery, such a good study on storytelling.)
Dungeons & Drag Queens (fave sidequest character art and minis, mainly so impressed by brennans skill as a gm for new players/roleplayers)
Level 2: I Absolutely Love This 🤩
Fantasy High Junior Year (first show watched as it was airing, best FH yet, mary anne skuttle what more could u ask for)
Unsleeping City Part 2 (literally only downside is being filmed remotely. Breaks my heart they couldnt do this in person since this season is so special. BUT - got to see character art and illustrated backgrounds which was really fun)
A Crown of Candy (goddamnit brennan)
The Ravening War (goddamnit matt)
Mentopolis (superb cast w great chemistry and just lots of fun idk man i just think theyre neat)
Burrow’s End (fucking incredible storytelling by aabria, the cast, the crew w sets and minis and SHADOW PUPPETS goddamn.)
Never Stop Blowing Up (so stupid so joyful im just happy to be here)
Level 3: Has a Special Place In My Heart 🥰
Unsleeping City (some of my all time favorite characters and i just love how deeply these people love and understand New York City. Its the molecular structure of NYC in a show and its special)
Escape from the Bloodkeep (the first season i was like I Have To Stop Immediately And Share This With My Family. Every character is perfect. Every NPC is perfect. The minis and sets are darling. Every day i think about Hamhead and about muh hert)
A Court of Fey & Flowers (i just love them, i never thought id be invested in regency shit but if you put it in the feywild and add goblins and hobgoblins and owlbears and idiot bird people and shit im so down goddamn. Killed it. Absolutely killed it. Also gorgeous sets and costumes and props??? Gagged.)
Level 4: Rewired My Brain Chemistry 💀
A Starstruck Odyssey (screaming, crying, throwing up. The energy of these people being in person after covid creates a truly incredible maelstrom of dumb beautiful bozo shenanigans. id give a kidney for more ASO content. I Love This Show. And that it was based off of Starstruck is so fuckin special. This setting is amazing. also big barry syx is the exact bullseye of character im obsessed with that it makes me feral to think about him. I was going to joke that he was made in a lab specifically to appeal to my big beefy sex idiot himbo mercenary sensibilities but thats exactly his backstory and im mad about it)

Lord Dullanathri the Season Keeper requests the pleasure of your presence at the turning of the season in the city of Baldur’s Gate for a party of great splendor in celebration of the arriving fall season and Autumn Equinox. Guests are expected to arrive Saturday, the 9th or fashionably late.
Formal partywear will be provided. Further details are enclosed.
>Check the envelope contents?
A Dungeons & Dragons / Baldur's Gate RPC Event ( crafted w/ assistance from @charmsperson and @heincus ! )
Essentials:
THE SETUP
Hi Hello Hallo Bonjour Ciao! This section will contain a rudimentary breakdown of this event in plainspeak for muns, as I understand the google doc might seem intimidating at first glance.
Essentially: this is a big excuse for dnd + bg3 muses to be dressed in fancy formalwear and interact! I saw a lot of people on dash saying they wish there was a DA: I Winter Palace equivalent event in BG3, and several people seemed interested in having a form of open-fandom event taking place that gave them a reason to do that. That is the main goal of this event---to let muses have fun in fancy clothes.
Lord Dullanathri the Season Keeper is an Archfey who has brought his Domain of Delight to Baldur's Gate for his annual festivities celebrating the ushering in of Fall, which it is his duty to oversee. All of Baldur's Gate, including the Outer City areas and Duskhawk Hill, are encompassed by his domain at this time and subject to its rules and aesthetics to some degree. Namely: fall leaves and colors, Feywild plants, lots of fall harvests ( plants such as corn, kale, pumpkin, turnips, beets, etc. ), music, large feasts, and a good dose of fey whimsy. Dullanathri's presence, for those who are aware of him, is considered to be a blessing as his domain's arrival will ensure the successful harvest of all crops and forgeables in the surrounding area, leaving plenty to preserve for the upcoming Winter. Baldur's Gate also loves a good party, and though there is typical Fey mischief afoot, Dullanathri is a neutral party and will not intentionally harm others personally. While the party is going on, all individuals inside the domain will be automatically dressed in formal gala attire; feel free to choose any outfit you would like that you feel is suitable for your character and share it with others! Draw it! Make an image collage of references! Dress your character up in appropriately fancy clothes from the game! Write a drabble about it, Cinderella style! Approach this however you like, before or during the event.
🍂FAQ🍁
What is an RPC / Dash Event ?: Consider this the dashboard equivalent of an in-game event, such as the Lantern Rite Festival in Genshin Impact or special 7⭐ Tera Raids in Pokemon Scarlet+Violet, where many people can come together to participate.
Who is Playing the NPCs?: You are! Or your writing partner is. Feel free to fill in the gaps of the personalities of other party attendants and citizens of Baldur's Gate in a way that is interesting to you and use the skill checks as a guide for your interactions (if you wish). This includes any battle segments, such as Flower Wars---you are free to play this as true-to-form of a real campaign battle as you want, or to plot out things with your partner in advance. Do what suits you.
Is this Mutuals Exclusive?: No! Anyone is free to take the event information / set-up and post opens or write while also respecting the rules of individuals
( ie. you do not have to be mutuals with me to participate in this event, but you must still respect the rules of other writers ( such as being mutuals-exclusive ) unless they state otherwise. )
Do Characters Have to do Side Quests?: No! The Side Quests are merely additional scenario prompts to help flesh out the party, and to give various types and personalities of characters a reason to attend and interact. Not every muse is an extrovert but some are heroic, or power motivated, or curious. These quests exist to give writers material to interact with the party in a way beyond just attending, and to write with others. If you aren't interested, you don't need to focus on them.
TLDR;
If you have questions, feel free to send me an ask, and I'll do my best to answer them!
I hope this can be an event people have fun with, so I've left a large timeframe open to give people more of a chance to participate, as I know people have busy lives and different timezones.
When?: Saturday, September 9th, 2023 - Sunday, September 24th, 2023
Where (in game)?: Baldur’s Gate ( all city districts ); Dusthawk Hill
Who?: Dungeons & Dragons / Baldur’s Gate muses + OCs. ( mutual status is not required to participate. Anyone interested or with an affiliated verse may use this content to interact, write threads, create art, etc. )
Tags?: #EquinoxEvent_2023
please use this tag to track opens, prompt lists, interact with others, and so that non-fandom blogs make blacklist it if necessary (for those who are multi-fandom)

Snakelet - Chapter 8
@augusnippets Day 16 - Humiliation
Word Count: 435
Masterpost
Content: NSFWhump (implied noncon afterwards), coercion, death threats, creepy whumper
~
A shock tears through Ziri's system, abruptly yanking him out of his quasi-hibernation. He wearily looks up at the figure towering above him.
"Good morning, pretty boy~"
He groans and looks at the floor.
"Oh, don't be like that. What, you think I'm just gonna hack at you with an iron axe or something?"
He cringes at the thought.
"Don't be silly. I don't like iron any more than you. And I'm sure you could use a break from the stuff anyway, hm~?"
He likes what they're saying. He doesn't like the way they're saying it.
It doesn't matter. They'll do whatever they want to him anyway. He just sighs in response, continuing to stare blankly at the floor.
"Mm. I'm gonna need a bit more cooperation than that today, pretty boy. That is, if you want to live to see your precious sibling, of course."
He locks eyes with them.
"Y-you.. can't.. kill me."
"Sure I can! All I gotta do is take you to the feywild and put a bullet between your eyes, right? Not like Nerium will care. It'll probably make things easier on them, honestly. No more silly little moral conundrum, they can just lob your body at Janessa and be done with it."
A pit forms in his stomach.
"Might.. come back.."
"I'll put a tracker in you, then. And then I'll find you and kill you again, and again, and again, slower and slower each time, until you finally die for good."
Trembles wrack his exhausted, broken body.
"...Please don't."
With a grin, they step on the base of his leash, forcing his face to stay pressed against their boot.
"That's it. Beg for your life, pretty boy."
"P-please. Please let me live. Please."
"Master. Call me master."
"Please, master." The word feels dirty on his tongue. "Please don't kill me, master."
"Ohh, that's it. Keep going."
He rasps out desperate pleas, terror jolting through him at the sound of a belt unbuckling.
"Ask what I want you to do for me."
"W-what you— what do you want me to do for you, master?"
They let out a breathy laugh. "Tell me you'll do anything."
He grimaces, the weight of his helplessness pressing down on him as he hears the belt pulled from the loops. "I'll.. I'll do anything, master."
"That's what I like to hear." He flinches at the sound of leather striking their palm. "A little birdie told me all you satyrs are sluts. I want you to prove it."
In an embarrassingly small voice, he whimpers, "I'm.. out of practice.."
"Then you better remember quick, huh?"

Pina's BG3 spoiler post
In the interest of saving time and making things easier. I'm going to put all my future spoilers thoughts in the reblogs of this post.
Everything will be under read mores. And I'm going to be just bullet pointing and screaming about random things I discover
Some Act 1 stuff
So all romances can now start sooner, like way sooner than the party. But the party is still a meaningful Moment™ with whoever you do choose for that night.
I noticed a lot of the companions will start flirting with you at medium approval and higher.
Shadowheart shuts down poly suggestion 😞 Karlach and Astarion have some funny banter together, and he does still approve of helping her. Inch resting. Also baby Shadowheart flashbacks omfg my beloved!
Lae'zel does still try and sleep with Wyll at the party (if Tav doesn't, obv) but now in the morning after gossip she says he only wanted to talk and she's so sexually frustrated lol
I am kind of disappointed that Tav can't do a poly romance w Astarion and Karlach even though like. I get it. He's not comfortable with *feelings* and doesn't want to "get attached" but it hurts so much for me to turn Karlach down 😭
Also Karlach on Astarion LMAOO girl! If Tav tells Karlach they have a thing going she says she'd ride him into the feywild 😂I was cackling
And ofc Astarion ohh my god he's doing the 'trying to seduce you' thing and the higher his approval gets the more cracks start showing this is so fucking delicious. He has straight up desperate voice barks if Tav falls in combat and I'm obsessed

The run down and lead up of events re: fawn wager crows nest crew and the absolute mess we are in at the last session
Fawn is a pc, the pinkest valley girl rogue satyr, originally from the feywild is on the material plane hiding and being a pirate
For reasons that don't matter rn, our ship sinks and we get stuck in the same island that our rival pirate crew is on
We see the Captain and this fox guy from his crew in a tavern and Fawn goes over to bother them
Oh! Fox guy, who we learn is called Wager, is also from feywild!
Oh he asked to have her name
Fawn likes that. She does that. She likes this fox
They leave tavern together to get mail, when they come back Wager is covered in kisses and they're dating
its barely been an hour if that since introductions
We convince Wager to help us find Captain
We make a plan to steal rival captains boat, since we lost ours, and recruit Wager to help.
Before we can do anything, an archfey (derogatory) called The Spider shows up again
We dont like him and Fawn is very scared of him.
Events happen, and we find out that another archfey (derogatory) called The Lady is also here
she is Wager's "boss". Wager doesn't want to go back
She takes him back to the feywild anyway
Its very upsetting
We decide that we were going to steal him anyway, might as well steal him back from the feywild
We go there, with help from fawns uncle, archfey (affectionate), Uncle Cass
We meet Ephie, new pc, and Foxboy, a young little fox folk like Wager.
Events happen
We learn, that Ephie's "mother" is The Lady (archfey, derogatory, stole wager, punishes ephie when she isnt perfect, Archfey derogatory)
We learn that Uncle Cass and The Spider are engaged
We get yoinked by the spider and are forced to relive not-quite-nightmares of ours infront of an audience
Fawns was last, she had a face to face with the spider and he showed her "Wager" with one eye.
When we wake up, we see the spider but get an "intermission" before we fight him
Wager is the one to bring us back to the arena after its over.
Hes disguising himself to have two eyes. He doesn't want to be here but can't say it.
We promise that we are going to come back and get him, then go to "fight" the spider
We win, he's an archfey and this was a show so he isn't dead dead, but we won and we return to the green room.
Foxboy is there! He has some letters for us, but cant read it :( he's only 7 :(
Its an invitation to Tea Time from The Lady. We read it, are transported, and wake up to a wooded area, in fancy outfits and the aarakocra pc (me) as a human
We meet an dmac (dm assistant character) and get lead to where we are supposed to be for tea time, stopping for a snowball fight with Wager's and Foxboy's sister
(We also have learned that Foxboy(/Felix) is just a permanently 7 Wager, through archfey derogatory nonsense)
Their sister tells us that Wager is "rehearsing" for something important. Is cold, particularly to Fawn.
Note: The Lady is an Archfey of the winter court.
We make it to tea time. We have a few moments to get familiar with the space before The Lady and Wager appear
Wager calls Fawn over to the private duo table, the rest of us sit at tables and try not to freak out too hard yet.
Fawn's having a wonderful time. She has found her boyfriend, her fancy dress is a bigger poofy pink wedding dress, and she keeps talking about how they're going to get married
Wager is both so happy to see her and so extremely anxious
Kul can see this, and gives him a bardic inspiration. They can tell he *is* about to propose.
They stand up and Wager starts doing a speech
Tumblr media
He gives her a dagger, customary for spring court proposals (Fawn is from spring court) and a loud confetti canon goes off, obscuring them
Dm goes ok couple people deafen. Secret dnd time.
We, kul and ephie, see what really happens
Wager says speech, which if you look closely at spells out GOOD BYE, and ends it with this (bones is a nickname for fawn from wager. Its cute, she's bones he's treasure. This session was titled Treasured Bones)
Tumblr media
Wager says speech and raised a gun
And shoots fawn
A table is rolled and she is only paralyzed, he falls to his knees.
The Lady says "finish the job"
And he stabs her in the heart, and hugs her dead body on the floor
Out of character we are losing it. The ones deafened are worried about our reactions. Theres nothing we can do.
People undeafen. We clarify that we are picking up exactly where we were.
Our dm lets us do deals with him to get extra information. I had done a deal to get more info on Foxboy, and my consequence for it was that I had to react with violence in a situation when he told me. So
Kul sees red. Theyre crying. Theyre not responding to questions. Theyre attacking Wager.
Ephie is crying over fawn but the other two are more concerned with the immediate unexplained violence and dont notice or even think that fawn could be dead
The Lady is watching this all, gleefully
Kul doesn't kill wager. They do a big spell and physically attack him with a weapon they had loaned to Fawn, then their mind clears
They turn back to Fawn and the others see that she's dead and dying
Ephie asks her mother to help. She learns that this was a punishment for her for leaving the manor and making friends, and getting close to Fawn in particular
The Lady leaves
Hai asked new God (she recently broke her oath and got a new God, she doesnt like her much) to help and loses an arm to the elbow for it
Kul calls in a favour with Hais Old God, saying they "can't take losing another one"
He shows up and Kul revivifies Fawn.
She wakes up, her hair now has some blue bits and her scelaras are now blue and one eye is pink instead of orange
End of session
WAGER WAS FORCED TO KILL HIS LOVE BY THE LADY, BECAUSE EPHIE HAD LEFT HOME AND GONE FARTHER THAN INTENDED AND GAINED FRIENDS, AND KUL ATTACKED HIM FOR IT.

What colors do we feel Wyll is. Last playthrough I went with scarlet and white for the dye I went with for his gear, but this time I have him with the Feywild and Dun dye that’s like a blue and reddish brown and gold or w/e. I feel like there aren’t any colors that are bad on him. But I will have to decide smth for my piece of their dancing.
I could probably pick smth to compliment Majexatli’s outfit in the piece (Majexatli like Forest green and dark teal and pale gold and warm brown, probably)

Seeding Round: Poll 5
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Image IDs included! Click the images to see the full character please!
More about each NPC below the cut!
Character Descriptions are in the order of their appearance in the poll!
Character 1
Name: Kevin Party: GATEGATE Relationship to party: Familiar, general menace
What makes them the best NPC: We used speak with animals on him one time and it was so funny we just decided he could talk the whole time. Canonically he's a familiar because he got arrested in the Feywild and this is his community service. He's not only useless but actively antagonistic to the party. He eats exclusively raw meat hand-rolled in birdseed and hates everyone. His sheer glee at seeing the rest of us miserable was powerful enough to protect us from the effects of the Shadowfell. His two attacks are (a) shitting on people and (b) necklace of fireballs. He is my horrible son and I love him very much. He gets consulted on every decision and his response is always some variation of (horrible screechy voice) "you're all stupid and I hope you die I'm going back to sleep".
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Character 2
Name: Mercurial Party: The Fosters Relationship to party: Friend, ally, strategist, arcane scientist
What makes them the best NPC: Mercurial is a drow divination wizard who loves his girlfriend and studying magic very much. He’s so incredibly anxious and semi-unintentionally goofy at all times, but he ultimately has a steel will and the determination to back it. His girlfriend and he helped lead a drow rebellion against the high elven monarchists, and they’re both currently elbows-deep in helping to set up a more equitable but still stable government to replace the emperor. He’s a skilled diviner and she’s an incredible tactician, so they’re incredible strategists.
He is both so incredibly cool and just some guy. He'll do just about anything you ask. Once, a PC told him to go get "as many lemons as [he could]" and he brought back hundreds. Every time we drop in on him, he ends up nervously making like, French toast or bruschetta or something. He’s also an incredibly competent wizard who is going for his arcane PhD. He got into biochemistry when one of our PCs (an old friend of his and his girlfriend’s) asked him to do some blood analyses. When he realized one of the party NPCs's blood would confirm a hypothesis he had but she wouldn’t give it to him, he (for the first time) used his unassuming and nervous demeanor to trick her into letting her guard down enough that he could stab, grab, and run like hell away with the blood. He talks like Eeyore. I love him so much.
Quote: "Wait, don't tell her, I don't want her to be more mad at me than she already is..." -Mercurial, after tricking the party NPC.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Character 3
Name: Selûne Party: THE FACE SMASHERZ! Relationship to party: Goddess of the moon, patron of paladin Sorbet Lemonbalm (Sorbet is her champion)
What makes them the best NPC: Do YOU want a base-game goddess taken to the next level? Are YOU a fan of big buff war veteran elves with moon-shaped tit windows? Do YOU want a polyamorous queen canonically married to her champion who also has a girlfriend ????
SELUNE SELUNE SELUNE !!!!
Selune in our game is more than just a base-game goddess. She's one of our prominent party gods, given that our campaign centers around godslaying and the power imbalances that follow. Top three Selune moments in our campaign are:
3. When she got summoned to help aid our party in a massive fight and ripped off her sleeves and hiked up her dress to beat the shit out of interlopers in one of her last temples. 2. That time she faked out her champion into thinking she was killing her in order to save a little baby Kobold from the Corruption with the last of her essence. And lastly... [drumroll] 1. THE TIME MID-FIGHT WITH THE FEY QUEEN WHEN SORBET, HER CHAMPION, GOT MADE INTO THE NEW SUMMER FEY KING AND THE FIRST THING SHE DID WAS PROPOSE TO SELUNE AND SHE SAID YES + BLESSED IT, THUS MAKING THE SUMMER COURT SELUNE'S BY POLITICAL MARRIAGE BECAUSE OUR GIRL SORBET HAD NO FUCKING IDEA WHAT TO DO WITH THIS NEW POWER (Also this broke our DM) (in a good way)
Vote Selune: Our Lady Silver, Fey-King Consort, and our Lover of Ladies ;)
Quote: "...She cherishes every star, on the ground and in the sky, no matter how great or small. I used to hear hearth stories growing up about Selune and her herd of celestial rams, always making sure she had every starry lamb accounted for each night..." - Sorbet, telling young kobolds about Selune
