With the force the blonde used when she shoved her shoulder, Sol lost her balance a little, though it made her chuckle that this was her friend’s reaction to the teasing. Bea made it hard not to tease the girl. She still wasn’t sure how the two of them had even become friends at all, given how different they were. But somehow it worked. “Ooh, neighbors at the summer house,” she teased again lightheartedly before giving the other girl a light shrug. “The neighbors down the hall are—” She paused, furrowing her eyebrows. “—were huge potheads. They’d constantly order out. One time I wear there were three different delivery guys dropping food off at their front door at the same time. But… Well, I’m not really sure if there’d be anything left.” The two guys that lived in the apartment she was talking about had stuck around pretty long once everything started to go down. She’d hear them all the time. Until one day, she didn’t anymore. She could only assume that they probably ran out of food and left, and then never came back for one reason or another. Glancing down when she felt Beatrice take her hand, Sol gave the blonde a soft smile and a nod as she helped the other stand up. “I know it. We should definitely get down there then if that’s where we’re meeting him. There tends to be a lot of people who like to go check it out - the pharmacy, I mean. There’s not much left at this point, but people still try.” Making sure they both had what they needed, Sol began to lead Bea out. When they moved down to the first floor and exited the building, Sol took a few steps behind the blonde, just in case. Chances were she’d be better equipped to handle that sort of situation more than her friend would. “It isn't a long walk to there. But why’d he want to meet there?”

Beatrice couldn't believe that Sol managed to survive this long. Had it not been for her father, Beatrice knew that she would have fallen apart. She basically did when the world shut down. She was running around like a chicken with her head cut off. Beatrice's father was genuinely the family rock and the only person who seemed to have their head on straight. Rolling her eyes when Sol continued to tease her, she playfully shoved her friend and scoffed. "Don't be mean," she said playfully. "I'm just saying, don't you have like better neighbours or something? I mean, our neighbour at the summer house turned out to be those survivalists. Tell your neighbours to pull their weight," she joked. "I'm ready," she confirmed, grabbing Sol's hand and groaning as she stood up. Heading to the living room where Gucci was, she grabbed her baby and nuzzled her face on his snoot. "We should head out and meet my dad soon," she mumbled. She wasn't sure how long it had been but it felt like it was getting to the time where her father and her were supposed to meet. Grabbing the lighter backpack, the one she packed, she then waited for Sol. "My dad said to meet us at the pharmacy just down the corner to your place. Do you know it?"
