the past couple of days i was doing a lot of stuff but mostly deep cleaning our house and something i noticed while listening to my mom's true crime videos was that you can rarely find a channel that doesn't add stupid fucking music to the background like it's a horror movie- or even more inappropriate cheerful music.

and that REALLY bothers me because these are people's REAL lives we're talking about here... when i watch true crime anything i have to go out of my way to find channels that don't sensationalize it or disrespect the victims in any way. recently, one of the channels i watch has started showing signs of leaning towards this kind of content, when previously they hadn't done so. and it's disappointing. i'm a big believer in music elevating a story but it just feels gross to put it here. or to keep doing moments like "but this horrifying secret will come to light later", etc etc

Do you have favorite YouTube blogs about gardening?

Yeah! Roots and Refuge farm, I learned 80% of what I know from Jess and she is a very lovely teacher. She recently made a cooking channel to show what kinds of foods you can make from the garden!

I also like Her86m2 both for gardening and cooking content, the storytelling and beauty of her videos are off the charts.

And Melissa K Norris is cool too! I learned some of the information about herbs from her.

And of course there's Liziqi even though she no longer makes videos, watching her garden is like watching ghibli movies in real life.

A Real Life Dream (Monologue)

This YouTube video is a message for all dreamers. It exists because everyone needs to be reminded that they deserve to go after their dreams, regardless of what others say about it. Watch the video and see what Running The Galaxies has to say about the topic.�� We need to believe in ourselves, to believe that we are good and strong and capable enough to achieve our daydreaming dreams before we die. This little monologue (or speech) has been sitting on paper for a long time, but now the message is out there for people to hear. Although, it will be up to people what they do after they watch it. Never give up on your dreams!!! NEVER, NEVER, NEVER!!! A big tip to stop your mind from attacking you is not believing the negative things it has to say about you. Same when others say to your face. I know, I know. Easier said than done. It really is. But that doesn’t mean that we can’t do it. Fight it! When the thoughts come in, take a walk, do a fun activity, or talk to someone who makes you happy. The trick is to distract your brain, keeping it occupied until the severity of the thoughts go away. ​ A fun fact about this topic is that it is the very first thing I wrote as a monologue to act out. It started out as a school assignment in college, but I kept it close inside my time capsule for a day that it needed to come out.

Clearly no youtuber who does has actually seen rings of power or really cared to look at her character she is leagues better than marvels crap female writing or any of the other examples they show
