Naruto men taking care of their s/o when they're sick

I'm currently dealing with a cold and really shitty stomach problems, probably due to food poisoning. So, I present you this. Apologies if it's not good or your faves aren't in it. Also, shout-out to everyone who's currently sick. We're in this together and we'll get through it.

(Includes: Obito, Gaara, Shisui, Itachi and Kakashi)

Obito

He was woken up by the sound retching coming from the bathroom

After noticing that you weren't in bed, he immediately went to check on you in the bathroom, calling out your name softly to make his presence known and to not startle you

When another wave of nausea washes over you, he kneels down beside you and gently rubs your back in circular motions

"It's okay, love. It's okay. Let it out, I'm here for you."

Once you're done regurgitating your dinner, he hands you some water to rinse your mouth with

And in case you accidentally made a mess, don't worry, Obito will reassure you with a kiss on the top of your head and a soft "Don't worry, honey, I got this" and clean it up while you brush your teeth

When everything is nice and clean again, he will help you back to your shared bedroom and offer to make you some tea and prepare a hot water bottle for your upset tummy

Since he knows how draining and strenuous throwing up can be, Obito makes sure you're nice and comfy, with a bucket in reach and a box of tissues to wipe your mouth and tears with, before heading to the kitchen to prepare that tea and hot water bottle

Back in bed, he will hold you tight and cuddle you, peppering your head with affectionate kisses and whispering words of encouragement

Gaara

He noticed something was up when he came back home and you weren't there to greet him like you always do

After a quick search, he found you laying in bed, wrapped in two blankets and shivering, teeth practically clattering

His protective instincts kicked in immediately at the sight of you and without wasting any time, Gaara began to tend to you, pushing aside his own fatigue

He checked your temperature, fluffed up your pillows, turned up the heat in the room and brought you an extra blanket. He even gave you one of his sweaters for extra warmth and comfort

"Don't worry my little desert flower, I'm going to take care of you."

Gaara practically raids the medicine cabinet and insists that you take some of everything

Despite his usually stoic and calm demeanor, Gaara tends to turn into a bit of a helicopter parent partner when it comes to you. (And he's not ashamed of it)

He also doesn't care that he might get sick as well by being so close to you. He just wants to be there for you and nurse you back to health like a good spouse should. Plus, he can handle a bit of a runny nose and some coughing

Shisui

It was actually him who got you sick in the first place

He insisted that he could take care of himself and that you should stay away until he was no longer infectious. But you didn't listen and that's how you two ended up being sick together

Feeling guilty, Shisui tries to make it up by tending to you to his best of ability. Which sounds as strenuous and tedious as it actually is, with each of you insisting that the other should rest and let them do all the work

To no one's surprise, neither of you actually gets much done and instead spends the majority of the day sleeping

Your diet for that time consists of mostly medicine and teas and some instant ramen. Maybe some fruits or home cooked meals if someone was so kind to bring you some

Despite both of you feeling like absolute ass, you do appreciate the chance to spend some 'quality' time together. Even if that mostly consists of coughing up a lung and trumpeting like a herd of elephants while blowing your noses

Regardless of which of you is the worst off, Shisui will be the one to go to the pharmacy and the grocery store to get medicine, food and a few other things, such as flowers, a "Get well soon" card, a cute little plushie and your favourite snacks

The poor guy is being eaten alive by guilt and his unwavering love for you is what gives him the strength to actually leave the bed and function somehow. Even if it's for your sake only. So you better appreciate his efforts

Itachi

Itachi had come over to your place, to spend the few days he had off with you

Wanting to surprise you, he used the spare key you gave him to access the apartment and prepare a cute little dinner date a la stay at home. That was, until he heard noises coming from the bathroom

He decided to investigate and that's when he found you, hung over the toilet, hair and clothes a total mess and face almost as white as the toilet you were hugging

His previous plans now forgotten, he dutifully takes it upon himself to care for you, starting with comforting you and carefully getting you back to bed once your stomach has been emptied

Knowing that tea, warmth and bed rest are the best way to soothe an upset stomach, Itachi doesn't shy away from becoming your personal nurse/butler during that time

He will make you homemade ginger tea, cook easily digestible meals for you, prepare as many hot water bottles as you need and want and even take care of the chores around the apartment without you even having to ask him to

And on top of that, he still takes the time to cuddle with you and rub your stomach to alleviate the pain and discomfort you're in

He'd even request to have a few more days off, in case you're not feeling better by the time he has to be back on duty

Kakashi

When you and Kakashi met up for one of your rare dates, the silver haired Jonin immediately noticed your ailing state and advised you to take it easy

He even offered to reschedule your date so that you could take the time to rest. But after you stubbornly insisted that you were fine, he eventually gave in, albeit reluctantly

The next day, he decided to pay you a brief visit and check on you

Of course, he wasn't surprised when he saw your pale face sheepishly peeking out from behind the blanket as you tried to stifle a cough

"So much for "I'm fine", huh?"

Pretends to be smug and smart-assy about being right and takes the opportunity to gently scold you for being stubborn and reckless with your health. Look, he cares a lot about you but doesn't know how to say or show it properly, so he acts like an all-knowing, wannabe doctor to get the message across

Signs himself up for the role of your caretaker, because obviously you suck at doing it yourself and he is the only responsible adult here. Basically the pinnacle of self-care. Lol

Expect to be served healthy, home cooked meals and lots of fresh vegetables and fruits to help boost that immune system of yours and get you back to health

May or may not coax you to take your medication by promising you extra cuddles and affection

First-Impression thoughts on Hazbin Hotel's "official" first ep, now that I checked it out on YT-

*Spoiler warning below for those who didn't see it yet-*

-Great to see Charlie & Vaggie again, still a wholesome lil supportive pair whilst having their own quirks/things to do on the side. Esp with Vaggie spending the whole time back at the hotel reshooting a whole commercial for Charlie's sake, awww :3

-Pleasantly surprised by the twist of Charlie's mom being the figure she was most inspired by to make her dream come true, along with her love for singing. Curious to see where Lilith's whereabouts could be if she's been away for so long?

-The new voices were... a mixed bag, I suppose? Mainly in the line/tone-deliveries for certain characters (& I guess I'm still moreso used to the OG pilot's portrayals lol), but I can see the good attempts made from those like Charlie & Alastor.

-I... don't know how I feel about the way Lucifer's backstory was handled? Like, yeah its interesting hearing of him & Lilith genuinely connecting over their "rebellious" natures (& thus fleeing from Heaven's wrath/staying in Hell to be together). But then, the whole thing with Lucifer apparently being some "doofy, misunderstood dreamer who only wanted the best for Humanity, got bullied by those mean ol' angels, and didn't meaaaan to spread Sin all across Earth~ 🥺🥺" ...ehhhhh, felt kinda lame imho 🤷‍♀️. Not that I mind giving nuanced/sympathetic angles to a character's development now & then... but with someone like Lucifer (who mind you, is meant to represent the "Ring of Pride" on top of his Hell-ruling duties), I guess I kinda expected more... "bite" to his portrayal, I guess? .3. But idk, maybe that's just me... (*Tho admittedly, one could argue that perhaps he and/or Lilith were simply lying in that storybook to make them look less "bad"... idk, given HB's track record with Stolas' writing and since both shows are made by the same people... part of me can't help having my doubts ^^; *)

-Adam... ooooooh boi .x.;; Ever since I saw his leaked design I've always been rather... "mixed" about him, and now seeing him on-screen & talking I... don't really get the concept behind him? I mean, yeah I'm all for a fun, chaotic-jackass type when done right (hell I still consider Blitz among my faves to this day lol). But with Adam apparently being the big leader behind Heaven's army, AND was even the "original" Adam from biblical times... how tf did he get the chance to be allowed in Heaven if he not only helped curse humanity to sin (aka: sharing Forbidden Fruit with Eve), but on top of him currently being a horny, misogynistic loudmouth? 🤨Discounting that is also the fact that his whole design vibe just... doesn't really give me "holy army leader" vibes, but more-or-less just Blitz in some weird angel cosplay lol 🤷‍♀️. No shade to those who genuinely do like Adam though (and I'll admit his song was surprisingly catchy lol), I just... feel like his whole personality/design vibe could've probably fit better to a fallen angel-type character (or even a demon-angel hybrid if you wanna play more into the Heaven vs. Hell conflict), someone who only takes up the "Adam" title as an ego trip to enact his revenge against Hell... or, something like that idk; my brain's tired lol. (*His sidekick Lute seems pretty cool tho, she kinda reminds me of Tempest Shadow from MLP in a way .3.*)

-Nice to see more of the old Hotel gang again, esp those like Nifty she was a cute :3 (her whole reaction to the camera honestly being a whole mood lol)

-Did not expect to see Brandon Rogers pop up voicing Katie Killjoy of all people, buuuut I guess I can see the amusing comparison potential to that one CEO persona of his lol

....Aaaaaand yep, that's about the gist of my first-impression thoughts atm .3. Dunno if I'll be sitting down to watch the whole season of Amazon's Hazbin atm (*'cause like, I do have Amazon Prime, buuuuut I rarely ever use that to watch shows (save for some classic cartoons here & there lol) .w.; *), but I'd say it was still generally a decent watch for what it is imo👍(+any chance to see my girl Vaggie again, the better~ x3💜)

Sure, that's what this blog is for.

1.I know that the Fairy Tail guild is the main guild we get to know in this Anime and I obviously have a huge fondness for them but I wouldn't choose them. I am quite introverted and my energy and patience would just plummet after a few days since they are a very loud and rowdy bunch. I would actually choose Mermaid Heel if I had the chance because from all the guilds I feel like I would be the most comfortable in there.

2.I honestly am quite fine with a lot of clans unless it's the Hyuga, Uchiha or some other clan that got eradicated or had other problems. If I had to choose I would probably have to draw to decide between the Nara, the Inuzuka or the Akimichi. As of right now I would probably choose the Inuzuka though because they work together with dogs and wolves and I have a soft spot for those animals, especially since I have one myself.

3.If I could choose any dragon I would want to ride and not only limiting it to those that were shown being ridden, there are quite a few choices to make. One would probably go to the Crimson Goregutter because not only is it a big and tough dragon but also has a very docile and relaxed demeanor. A Hobblegrunt would also work for me because they are also rather calm and sensitive and since they change colours according to their feelings, I would always know whether or not they are comfortable with a situation or not. A Raincutter would work nicely too because I despise hot weather and love rain as much as this dragon does.

Dragons such as Deathgrippers also caught my interest but they were shown to be rather aggressive so I don't know how good I could bond with them. Whilst not to quite the same extent, I would also doubt myself with a Scauldron since they are also not that easy to train and a Seashocker may also be in the same category where I am not sure how well I could train them. If you're asking me for the most reckless decision I could make, I would love myself a Screaming Death, although I highly doubt that I could train one.

4.I would probably be more tempted towards dating a werewolf as well as being one because a vampire is immortal and I am not so sure if I would want to live forever because it would be awfully boring and make everything in life quite meaningless.

5.My favorite is still Nico Robin. After having finished Impel Down though, I must admit that I have found myself quite fond of Buggy and Mister 3 as well as all of their moments together. Their combination was for me one of the best things to come out of this arc.

6.I just started with the Marineford Arc and since this is an Arc highly praised within the fandom, I have high hopes for it because there are a lot of characters present at the moment.

7.I would be a pirate because working for the Marine is not as rosy as it may seem. I would probably not cross the Grand Line though unless I have a strong crew and would just chill in the East Blue and stay low for safety sake.

8.I'm pretty sure that I haven't even seen half of the devil fruits in this series. If I have to choose one I have already seen in action, I would either choose Robin's Hana Hana no Mi or Marco's Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix. If I can choose one that I haven't been introduced to yet but know about anyways, I would choose this devil fruit which can cut off sounds around you because that would kind of fit in nicely with my rather introverted personality.

9.Good question. As I said, I haven't gotten to know all devil fruits in One Piece yet so chances are that I may make up something that already exists within the series or bears resemblance to it. I would either like a devil fruit that can actually control plants and flowers which would make it a Logia type or I would like a devil fruit that would also fall into the category of a Mythical Zoan type. My choices for beings would then either be a Hydra, a Cerberus, a Hellhound or something inspired by the tale surrounding Arachne and her unfortunate end at the hands of Athena.

name meaning: She's more or less named after the rind of a fruit

one picture you like best of your chara: I give Rind a lot of love when I draw her! Here are a few of my personal faves that I've done

two h/cs you never told anyone

Rind's favorite gemstones are diamonds, opals, and pearls. She finds herself particularly drawn to the way light and colors tend to manifest and shine in these jewels, especially some lab created white diamonds. By contrast, she finds black diamonds to be terribly dull and are not her first choice of target.

In verses where she cannot evolve and devolve freely, Rind's top choices of evolution are Umbreon, Jolteon, and Leafeon. She likes to consider how an evolution could benefit her career as a jewel thief and feels these three would make the best thieves. At the bottom rung of her consideration is Sylveon, because its white pelt stands out in the dark and she isn't fond of the twirly ribbons and lovey-dovey aspect of that evolution (Guess which one she ends up evolving into)

three things your character likes doing in their free time: 

Count the jewels! If you had a massive haul of gems and jewelry stashed away in your home, wouldn't you stop to admire them every so often? Rind could spend hours counting, polishing, and gazing into her stash!

Annoy the acquaintances. Rind loves plastering herself to people she perceives as overly serious and self-important and finding all the ways she can ruffle their feathers. Silly nicknames, affectionate teasing and handing out deliberately bad advice in hopes they'd be gullible enough to follow it are some of her favorite tactics. In short, Rind is a littol troll ;3c

two things your character regrets:

Actually hurting anyone. Rind may be a bit of a bully and has a habit of pushing others around, but she never wants to really hurt anyone. Most of her tough talk is all fluff, she doesn't fight unless she has no choice and will always use non lethal force when necessary. Those few times things got out of hand stay in her head as a reminder to not go too far and to not make any real "friends."

Not trying to leave her family amicably. The last she saw them, Rind got into a fight with her mother and left for the city in a huff. Though she still loves Squirrel and would like to see her after so many years apart, she is both convinced her own mother dislikes her and she wouldn't even know what to say in the first place.

two phobia your character has:

Trains. After a few too many close encounters with them in underground subway stations, Rind is very wary of trains and is mindful of how much a moving train can absolutely destroy anything it hits. If something falls into the tracks, its as good as gone as far as Rind is concerned.

Falling from a great height. Rind doesn't have much to save herself if she fell from too high up. Perhaps, if she is prepared, her Sylveon form could grab onto something with her feelers, or she could safely dive into water below as a Vaporeon. But the risk of being splatted on the pavement keeps her away from high rises and rooftops.

THIS WEEK AT EDGEWATER…

We remain swimming in field tomatoes.  I believe the crop of plums might be at peak, or nearing peak yields right now.  The plants are dripping with fruit, and this abundance is simultaneously soul-nourishing-farmer-pleasing and totally overwhelming.  Being rich in tomatoes lends itself to a real feeling of urgency.  A crop based time crunch.  

For one, as soon as the fruit ripens, we have only so much time until the juice of the tomato bursts through the skin and rots the fruit.  The crew has done an incredible job of staying on top of the pick, however it is inevitable that some of the cherries and plums will rot before we move/sell/cook/eat them. 

The second feeling of urgency comes when the weather turns and the nights move toward fall and flannel.  This is that moment in between seasons that makes me want to harvest everything all the time by day and preserve via canning or freezing all the time by night.  This harvest rush makes for a real crazy person (i.e. me).

This week’s CSA share 100% reflects that crazy.  Please join me as we get into it and go deep with tomatoes.  By Sunday I expect everyone of your countertops to be tomato splattered and every dish piled high in your sink. But come JANUARY, you will be so pleased that you followed suit and took to heart the farmy foodie canny pro-tips.

FARMY FOODIE PRO-TIPS the canners edition: 

by far my fave way of preserving cherries and plums

It is simple and the only ingredients you need are tomatoes/salt/pepper/GARLIC/olive oil.

READ ON…

Cherry, grape or small Roma tomatoes

Whole cloves of garlic, unpeeled

Olive oil

Herbs such as thyme or rosemary (optional) Preheat the oven to 225°F. Halve each cherry or grape tomato crosswise, or Roma tomato lengthwise and arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet along with the cloves of garlic. Drizzle with olive oil, just enough to make the tomatoes glisten. Sprinkle herbs on, if you are using them, and salt and pepper, though go easily on these because the finished product will be so flavorful you’ll need very little to help it along.

Bake the tomatoes in the oven for about 3 hours. You want the tomatoes to be shriveled and dry, but with a little juice left inside–this could take more or less time depending on the size of your tomatoes.

Either use them right away or let them cool, cover them with some extra olive oil and keep them in the fridge for the best summer condiment, ever. And for snacking.

JENNY’S NOTE:  Smitten’s slow roasted tomatoes stop there… but I am suggesting you take it one step further.  Let’s can :)

STEP 1: Prepare your jars and lids- clean them, dry them/ get em lined up and ready.  

STEP 2: Prepare your water bath (big pot with boiling water)

STEP 3-STEP 100: is an excerpt from Tart and Sweet: 101 Canning and Pickling Recipes by Kelly Geary and Jessie Knadler (Rodale, 2011). The excerpt is from Chapter 6: Summer. I am also going to provide their favorite recipe to can tomatoes in case you want to go the “whole” tomato route.  However, if you want to take your newly roasted tomatoes and skip ahead to the canning part, go ahead and ladle your warm batch of tomatoes into jars, skip to bullet point 3 and proceed with the lemon juice. But do not add water- any juice leftover from your smashed down cherry tomatoes is enough!

Canned Tomatoes 

• 12–15 pounds tomatoes, blanched, peeled, andcored • About 8 cups water per quart jar • 2 tablespoons bottled lemon juice (or 1 tablespoon per pint jar) • 1 teaspoon kosher salt (or 1/2 teaspoon per pint jar)

1. Leave the tomatoes whole or quarter or halve them, as desired.

2. Bring the water to a boil in a large saucepan (you may need more or less, depending on the size and cut of the tomatoes). Reduce the heat, but keep the water hot.

3. Place the appropriate amount of lemon juice and salt in each hot jar. Top with raw tomatoes.

4. Ladle hot water into the jars to cover the tomatoes, leaving 1/2 inch headspace. Check for air bubbles, wipe the rims, and seal. Process quarts for 45 minutes, pints for 40 minutes, adjusting for elevation.

YIELD: 4 quarts or 8 pints

And if you are not ready to can, but do want roast your maters go ahead and these little gems on toast, with eggs, by the spoonful, or make soup:

Roasted Tomato and Goat Cheese Soup from the cook book: lucid food

serves 4

12 ripe tomatoes

2 cloves garlic, peeled and smashed

1 yellow onion, coarsely chopped

1 tablespoon honey

2 sprigs fresh rosemary

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

4 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and freshly ground black pepper

1 dried bay leaf

1/4 cup fresh goat cheese

Preheat the oven to 425°F. Core and quarter the tomatoes and scoop out the seeds, reserving the seeds and cores for the stock. In a large bowl, toss the tomatoes with the garlic, onion, honey, rosemary, 1 tablespoon of the vinegar, 3 tablespoons of the olive oil, and a dash of salt. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet and roast for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the rosemary and set aside. Combine the tomato scraps, bay leaf, and 1 cup water in a pot and bring to a boil over high heat. Decrease the heat and simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes. Strain the stock into a bowl and discard the solids. Rinse the pot and return the stock to the pot. Add the roasted tomatoes. Bring to a boil over high heat, then decrease the heat and simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Let the soup cool for 10 minutes, then pour into a blender. Add the cheese and blend until smooth. With the blender running, add the remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil. Season to taste with salt.

Garnish the soup with the remaining 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar and a few grinds of pepper and serve.

The stigma of self-inserts is so harmful to the creative process. Relax. Admit it. Everything you make is derivative of yourself, always, no exceptions. You can turn the mirror into tinier and tinier shards or you can make it as big as you want to reflect as much as you want. At the end of the day it's always going to show you inside of it. Pretending otherwise is stupid.

Imagine Ten could bring Rose to his home planet, walk her around, introduce her to his people's culture. And one thing they both love most is food. What sorts of food (and beverages) do you think he could show off to Rose? Would he recommend his faves? Something that's "tolerable" for human taste? Or a (probably safe) menu that's beyond reckoning to see what her reaction would be? A cool date in Gallifrey.

If you have your own food culture ideas that make Gallifrey good for tourist attraction to hop on to if they were open for other species, then that'd be brilliant, thanks ♡

They'd arrive on the celebration known as Otherstide. The Doctor would park the TARDIS just beyond his childhood home in the region of Prydon, where they'd walk across the still and beautiful red grass fields gleaming under the twin suns. Rose would be filled with awe at the range of weird and wonderful wildlife and would be asking a million questions, some of which the Doctor would seriously struggle to answer. Eventually the Doctor would pick a spot and reveal from his transcendental pockets a complete picnic. Sandwiches, fruits, wine, and even a standard gallifreyan tea set, comprising around 180 pieces that come out of his pockets one by one, somehow all intact.

This particular custom could be paid for as an tourist experience with some trained gallifreyan in a posh frock, but here the Doctor would be able to serve just fine. Rose would certainly enjoy the tea, with hundreds of varieties made from the unique flora of Gallifrey - there's plenty to choose from, including the strong-smelling tristort fern, schlenk blossoms, or what's probably going to be her favourite, 'arkytior', which is a pearly-grey gallifreyan rose.

This plethora of tea would be accompanied by a couple of Baanjxx meat sandwiches and Rassilon's Red wine, during which the Doctor would recount to Rose:

'You know, I got kicked in the head by a Baanjxx when I was a kid.'

'That literally explains everythin'.'

Baanjxx sandwiches are by no means particularly elegant and can be a bit chewy, but the taste would be alien enough for Rose to find it utterly fascinating. Alongside the sandwiches and wine would be some of the sweet fruits of the Ulandan tree, which tastes like a cross between lemon and mango and Rose wouldn't quite be able to work out which one.

Now full of tea and desperate for a wee they'd retreat to the TARDIS. Rose would sort herself out as the Doctor takes them to the renowned Prydos market, where they'd spend the early afternoon browsing the stalls filled with products and food from across the entire universe, including Earth. She wouldn't be able to resist buying some chips, but things never quite taste the same on a different planet do they? Bit soggy. But she'd get something for her mum as a memento.

Then, due to her persistent nagging, they go to the Capitol. It's mind-blowing for her. After the hustle and bustle of the market of Prydos it's an entirely new experience. Men and women looking sombre in peacock collars, giving her slightly strange looks she can't even be bothered to register. She and the Doctor would spend the rest of the dying afternoon in the Capitol together, exploring. He's used to it, and she would be leading.

Then as the evening approaches it's time for the main meal. Since all the these posh capitol Time Lords and Ladies are content eating blocks of coloured protein, you can't stay in the Capitol for a good meal. He and Rose would catch the next skimmer, the most tourist-friendly being longboat-like ships that fly through the sky from city to city. They'd alight at Arcadia, which would be a hive of activity on Otherstide. The Palace of Arcadia is known to be probably the best restaurant on Gallifrey, but the Doctor prefers a bit of gritty reality, so would go for a more low key establishment.

For starters, it's going to be either a broth or some dactyl eggs, the latter of which has been especially imported for Otherstide. This would be followed by roasted sealak (a gallifreyan delicacy, which is probably fish) with roasted grockleroots (mildly alcoholic - have fun), and side of lushberries (probably edible) sprinkled with swamp mint. Karmine pudding is the finale in a blue fruit sauce.

'What's blue fruit?'

She'd ask.

'Err ... A fruit that's blue.'

He'd reply.

(me) For the more daring foodie, there is what's known as a varga plant. Native to Skaro, the home of the Daleks, these plants are usually deadly and able to instantly kill Time Lords, ignoring regeneration. But when specially prepared its leaves can be used for tea making or soup. Just like fugu from Japan, this requires a specialist chef with plenty of certificates to wave around before preparing. Unfortunately since being a chef is not deemed a noble profession by the Citadel folk, there aren't many accredited ones around. This makes varga a sort of dirty commodity, as it's rumoured that having a bit more varga than is reasonable can get even the most biologically balanced gallifreyan brain, err, 'totally bombed'.

Luckily since the Doctor's already done this in his youth and one sip would probably kill Rose, they opt not to.

Then once the meal is over, it's time for the drinks. The elite class rather frown upon these sorts of frolics, so you'll find the best clubs and bars in the Low Town. This is in the depths of the Capitol, run by Shobogans. These are the real dives, filled with quick fights, dirty elbows, and old gallifreyans in the corners ranting about how time travel isn't what it used to be.

Gallifreyan drinks aren't IMMEDIATELY fatal to humans, but if you spend an entire night out with a gallifreyan in Low Town you're probably going to need a new liver. Fortunately the Doctor would have the foresight to arrange for Rose's drinks to be slightly less potent. He'd watch over her as she bopped the night away dancing to the gallifreyan top twenty (actual thing). She starts with the Orneilian Wine and Milean Head Juice, before becoming drunk enough to get a little bit hooked on Bog-Truffle Tincture. She'll have anything she can try, purely because she's having one of the best nights of her life with the man she adores on a planet she may never see again that means so much to him.

The twins sun would begin to rise and they'd realise they've been out all night. They make their way back up to the Capitol, before the Doctor stops her at a food dispenser. He would absolutely refuse to leave without having Rose trying a Promarzzi bar. They're beige blocks of pure chewy stodge. He thinks they're amazing because he grew up on them, but they genuinely taste like pond weed. Rose would tell him that and he'd reluctantly agree, but counter:

'But they actually try to choke you as you eat them, isn't that fun?'

Saw single dad Levi and I normally don’t think Levi would have kids. Like maybe just like acquiring a orphan in cannon verse BUT I do have one headcanon about Modern AU Levi who could love a kid if he dated someone who already had one from another relationship.

Like in his age group dating someone with a kid just kind of happens. He didn’t plan on things being series but he so in love with you and then it all just happens gradually and before he knows It he care so much for some kid. He can’t see himself having kids but this kid is already here and needs to be taken care of. Loved. And while he might not be a affectionate individual. He’s being asked to check under the bed and to come to events. And he can’t bring himself to let them down. Not when he knows how it feels to want so desperately for someone to be there.

So when Levi takes on that roll it’s so important to him to give his kid a good, balanced and BORING home life. He wants his kid to have a schedule and know he will be there when they come home. He just needs them to never thinking about their next meal or if they will have a coat for the winter! He needs them to have everything he didn’t have because otherwise it’s all for nothing. But at the same time it’s really hard for him to see his kid have everything he didn’t. Because he loves this kid so much and so easily! But why couldn’t that be him? Why couldn’t Kenny love him like that after his mom?

No bc I've literally never been a person to have headcanons with my faves having kids or anything but here I am..doin it for Levi ...😭

God what you said about having a balanced boring life hit me so hard in the stomach. He hears everything that happened with the kids biological father and if he's making a promise to you well he sure as hell is gonna stick with it and make sure he's doing his damn best with your kid too. Doesn't want them to ever worry about anything that a kid shouldn't worry about.

Their biggest concern should be not wanting to go to bed early, or wanting fruit snacks instead of orange slices packed for their lunch. Silly, seemingly trivial things that children should keep their minds on. Not if he's going to actually stay this time. Not wondering where their father is.

The Kenny mention broke me. He's keeping everything Kenny did in mind so that he could do the exact opposite, prove that his family isn't full of pieces of shit. Prove that he can take care of you and your child enough to find a comforting solace in choosing Levi to be your partner.

Favourite time of year: I would have to say autumn as it’s a nice break from the usual hot summer here but not cold enough yet for lots of blankets. And it doesn’t have the pollen of spring to worry about 😂

Comfort food: It would have to be Tonkostu ramen with extra pork belly. But it has to from a proper ramen booth/restaurant as it’s always the best from there.

Do you collect something?: I used to collect Lion King stuff but now it’s just books. I collect (hoard) books.

Favourite drink: A large green peach iced tea with lychee jelly from a bubble tea/boba shop. And my favourite alcoholic drink (though I rarely drink) is a Fruit Tingle.

It’s different having a super villain as your partner, they’ve got different things to do in order to achieve their goal, for Ivy it was for plants to regain control of the Earth. Rid the world of humans to just nature, what once had been before the first cave man. Though she’d keep Y/N, her beautiful girlfriend who often listened to her rants but never saw her any different.

To the woman who viewed her not as some criminal, but a woman trying to do something good. Be environmentally healthy by disposing the toxic lifestyle every human lived by, oh how Ivy hated it and didn’t expect anyone to give it up yet found Y/N.

And for that, the inhuman wishes to say thank you in the best way possible.

It’s not even sunrise when she starts preparing, decorating an entire room in the botanical gardens they called home with various flowers, Jasmine, Cherry Blossoms, Lily’s, Tulips, whatever looked aesthetically pleasing. Toss in some poisonous ones too, those always made a nice touch.

Don’t worry though, Y/N has gotten a shot which prevents her from being harmed by Ivy’s toxic kiss or her plants. The woman could never forgive herself if anything happened to her precious flower.

Once the room had been decorated, she checks on Y/N. Still fast asleep in their bedroom area, an arm reaching out for Ivy. Though there’s still much to do, she goes back to bed so her petal wouldn’t wake alone.

Bringing her close as Y/N’s lips smacked together, hand moving to Ivy’s chest. “ I’m right here my little flower,” Pulling down her top, she lets Y/N suck on her breast, getting that comfort needed to fall into a deep sleep once more.

Later on though, as they both wake up Ivy is ready to start again. Harley’s stopped by to take her out, which should raise some eyebrows but the former doctor knows that if anything were to happen, she’s plant chow.

Now onto the cake, Ivy knows her little petal’s favorite is chocolate. Unfortunately it’s the cheesecake version and the last thing the woman wanted was to go to the store and buy it. Or even worse, go to the restaurant that sold it and purchase the dessert.

She doesn’t like to deal with humans, but someone’s ought to do it.

So an hour goes by and Ivy’s gifted the cake by a stranger, completely under her control after a kiss to the cheek. “ Thank you Andy, now go home and sleep.” The woman didn’t want to piss Batman off either so it’s best to stay under the radar.

Now with the cake, and it’s put in the fridge, she starts making the finishing touches.

Earlier Y/N wore a floral dress that her girlfriend had made, which also served to protect her should an accident happen but it was quite pretty.

Though those dresses weren’t the only ones, others were placed in gift boxes made of plants, or non blossomed flowers because why use paper when it’s littered everywhere? Ivy didn’t want to contribute so it took some creative thinking at first but she’s got it handled.

Now with the gifts ready to go, Ivy decides to get ready herself. Designing a green dress which made her look like some 1950’s housewife but that style was a secret guilty pleasure of hers.

There was food prepared and a birthday waiting to be celebrated, so when Y/N was dropped off, a little giggly but content, Ivy knew it would be a good one. “ Happy Birthday my little petal.” She kisses her girlfriend sweetly as the plants wrap around Y/N’s legs. They too have also come to love her. And this one, she’ll never forget, until next year. Ivy loved to spoil her precious petal very much so.

Turns out there is no Zayn zoom call, it was faked by fans, but Zayn heard us all crying about just wanting to hear him talking and did one better anyway; he tweeted a phone number (1 323 991-ZAYN) for us ALL to call him! The number has a recording of Zayn (“yo Zayn heah!” yesss thank you) inviting us to press numbers between 1 and 9 to hear a preview of the 9 songs on the album that we have not yet heard so we can GET EXCITED and pick our faves. And then after you call it “he” sends you a fully skeezy text asking for your deets “so we can stay in touch” so if you ever dreamed about Zayn sliding into your DMs here's your chance to pretend (in a more wholesome way than faking it to make other fans feel bad.)

Spotify restored the “This is Louis Tomlinson” playlist (he finally got one when Walls came out and he had enough solo songs, but then it quickly disappeared, until now)- Spotify says “we made it! sorry this took so long to fix” which explains nothing but there ya go. An intrepid detective connected the dots between an old picture of Dianna Agron from Glee in the Pride tent at 2019 Glastonbury with the picture of Louis from Glasto that was found a year after the fact (on some guy's tinder)-- he was also in the big rainbow colored gay tent. And present day Louis (today!) liked a post that was both inspirational and about football, regular Louis catnip; “Really moving! Best of luck to him!” he said about the guy's story.

Lottie apparently felt like riling up the fandom today and ran a “favorite fruit” emoji poll which, I'm not saying Harry OWNS FRUIT now or anything but she sure wasn't steering away from people going there, least of all when she commented oooh gosh kiwis sure seem popular how about that, or when she then said her favorite 1D song was “I have loved you since we were 18” against a cherry backdrop, and Veeps pulled it back from a typo on a post about Liam singing a 1D fave with an excellent “cause you make me Trong” follow up post.

Meanwhile even the entertainment press, desperate to make sense of it all, are plaintively asking “So who should we believe?” in headlines about the Holivia timeline and posting whole articles about the contradictions; when Harry said “time is irrelevant” in his 2015 song 'Olivia' he was sending a message to the future about exactly this, clearly! Tragically the hilarious 'Harry turns detective to try to puzzle out who told the press about Holivia' angle seems to have been dropped, though presumably not for being too stupid to believe because, well...*gestures...*
