And as promised: The update on the Itachi figure of the Effectreme line from Banpresto.

The figure is set to be released in July (in Japan) and can be pre-ordered as of now. Other sites, such as BigBadToyStore or Entertainment Earth, should follow suit soon.

Attention everyone, we finally have pictures of the new Kakuzu and Zetsu figures by Banpresto.

They're also available for pre-orders on a few sites already. Sadly, there are still no updates on the new Itachi figure from the effectreme line. But I'll keep y'all updated.

One thing I do to keep myself entertained and in a good mood is to imagine how my favourite Naruto characters would react if they suddenly spawned in my bedroom and came face to face with the merch I have of them.

Obito is particularly funny to me, cuz I have a shit ton of stuff of him and just know he'd either strangle me with his own hands, fuck me like the whore I obviously am for him, or sent me to the mental asylum.

adding onto the akatsuki rave parties:

kakuzu is the organizer, the whole event is shady as fuck, tickets are cash only. you only get a bunch of coordinates in the middle of some field or abandoned building, dms only invite. you can buy energy drinks, water, and beer, all warm. everything costs 5 times the amount than in the stores, and there isn't enough for everyone.

hidan shows up with nothing but some cash, half naked, in swimming shorts, while everyone else is wearing weather appropriate clothes (longer pants, hoodies etc). he looks like he is definitely on something, sweating like crazy, jumping around, yelling, having the time of his life. nobody knows how he got there. he will be there until the very end. he steps in a glass shard or something, and doesn't notice it until morning.

itachi is sitting on the ground, people around him keep asking him if he's alright, he's fine, this is his happy face, he is having a great time, actually :)

kisame is looking out for itachi, he is one of the volunteers helping the organizers.

deidara and sasori are the djs. they try to play b2b but their styles clash. sasori (tech house, artsy tekk/techno) hates deidara (uptempo, speedcore). deidara is having the time of his life, hidan boos sasori's set.

pain and konan are also organizers, but they thought the venue was legal to use. they look like regular ravers.

tobi and zetsu sell party favors. kakashi is an undercover, and tobi keeps messing with him (gives him a bottle of coke in a plastic shopping bag, when kakashi asks him if he has a bag of coke). zetsu and tobi both act like they're insane and see demons when questioned later. it's a whole comedy bit they practiced beforehand.

konoha-nins are the police forces, tasked to find the source of the noise complaint. around 6 am they try to arrest kakuzu, but he isn't there, and legally cannot be held accountable due to some weird legal loophole only he understands. nobody was harmed, except for hidan (who still didn't notice it), so there isn't a lot anyone can do. the organizers get notified that they cannot use this place again but this is the extent of what the police can do. kakuzu will organize the same event next month, only it will be 300 meters away from the previous place.

Small update regarding this post:

The vibration stars Hidan figure will have two available versions and is set to be released in June. (At least in Japan and in July or August outside of it) But you can pre-order him on several sites already. The same goes for the Tobi figure.

According to my information, Kakuzu and Zetsu will be released in July and aren't available for pre-orders yet.

And regarding the effectreme line (Itachi, Sasori and Deidara), both Sasori and Deidara are available for pre-orders and will drop around May to June in Japan and October to November in Europe and the States. (According to some sources and BigBadToyStore.com Sasori might be released and delivered in August. But when you receive him depends heavily on which website you order him from.)

Itachi's release date is yet to be confirmed. But if I had to guess, he'll probably drop around the same time. He's just not available for pre-orders yet.

Oh absolutely!! Thank you for providing me with enough ideas for our favourite puppet master! I prolly went a bit overboard here, but oh well. Consider this a lil treat for the Kankuro nation.

Kankuro nearly scalded his oesophagus with the brewing hot tea he was about to enjoy when you decided to drop the biggest bomb on him

Sputtering and cursing, he just sits there, his tea now all over the table and floor as his eyes wander from your face to your stomach and then back to your face again

"Pregnant?? As in "growing a baby in your tummy" pregnant??"

Oh dear...

"...Is there another kind of pregnant I don't know about?" You'd ask him flatly, stunned by his rather silly question

"No... no I suppose there isn't..." He conceded, his face and the tips of his ears beet red upon realising his mishap

Finding his sheepish reaction adorable, you laugh it off and kneel down beside him, giving him a playful nudge with you shoulder

With a somewhat petulant expression, he huffs and nudges you back before his expression turns serious and he takes in your appearance

It is clear by the emotions flickering in his eyes that he was completely overwhelmed by the situation and not even in the slightest bit prepared

If it had been up to him, you could have waited just a little bit longer before starting a family. But, as always, life rarely goes according to plan

On the bright side, Kankuro has now a very valid excuse to put a ring on you much earlier than he had originally planned. And luckily for you, he happens to have the necessary tool practically lying around

After a much less grand, but nevertheless unforgettable proposal, you two find yourself facing not one, but two major milestones in your lives at once

However, poor Kankuro didn't think of the truck load of stress that came with this package deal and now has to bear with the consequences of his impulsiveness

You've never seen the puppeteer scrambling to get everything done like this before, considering his usually laid back demeanor. It's as amusing as it is worrying and you can't help but feel sorry for putting him through this ordeal

Knowing he can't handle everything by himself, and not wanting to put you and the baby through unnecessary stress, he asks his siblings for help

After a very long conversation, and some intense scolding from both Temari and Gaara, you and Kankuro leave the wedding planning stuff to them, so you can focus on the pregnancy and some minor wedding related stuff, like picking out the rings or arranging an appointment with the tailor

Throughout your pregnancy, Kankuro practically carries you on his hands

He'll be there every time your morning sickness hits, even though he is close to throwing up himself when the stench hits his nostrils

Or run to the nearest convenient store in the middle of the night to get everything your cravings demand

He for sure questions some of the food combinations you so happily devour. But who knows, maybe pickles with peanut butter, mustard and mini marshmallows sprinkled on top aren't half as disgusting as they sound and look

Kankuro will, if possible, accompany you to every appointment and nearly lose his marbles upon seeing his little one on the ultrasound for the first time

He may or may not shed a tear or two at the sound of the baby's heartbeat

The wedding takes place about three months before the due date

Thanks to Kankuro being rather wealthy, and his siblings wanting their brother and you to have a breathtakingly beautiful day you'll never forget, the wedding will be grand but traditional

There will be lots of different dishes from all across the lands, as well as well-wishes from all kinds of important people, like the other Kage and even the Daimyō of the Land of Wind

When Kankuro sees you walking down the aisle, he can't help but feel both giddy and nervous to the point of nearly fainting

You just look so stunning and radiant and if it weren't for Gaara, who was the man of honour, he probably would've skipped the whole ceremony bullshit and kissed you right on the spot

Once the priest asks the question of all questions and you both respond with "Yes", Kankuro throws all his restraints out of the window and kisses you like he has never kissed you before

Given your delicate state, and Kankuro's anxiety regarding your well-being and that of the baby, the puppeteer will stay close to you and ensure you rest as much as possible

At the end of the day when you two lay snuggled up in bed, feeling exhausted but happy, Kankuro just can't help but look forward to spending the rest of his life with you by his side, knowing that as long as you have each other, you'll overcome any obstacles

Good news my fellow Akatsuki lovers. Banpresto has confirmed that there will be figures for the still missing members Tobi, Kakuzu, Hidan and Zetsu, as well as new versions of Itachi, Deidara and Sasori.
