Just made another batch of #ghee! Why clarify butter? Simple: it's healthier. For one, it's free of lactose and casein and therefore all issues associated with it (allergy, digestion, mucus, skin issues, etc.). On top of that it's rich in fat soluble vitamins A, D, E and K, easier digested, tastes better and has a high smoke point (suitable for baking and searing)! Making it is super easy and totally worth it! -- melt organic, grass-fed butter in an enameled pot over medium heat -- when it starts foaming, lower the heat and gently remove the foam -- when it becomes golden and brown specks start forming at the bottom of the pot, remove from heat and let cool a bit -- strain through a nylon mesh into a glass jar. 💟yogurt bowl 💟 Sometimes I accidentally wait until 2pm to eat breakfast...let's just call it "accidental intermittent fasting" because #momlife is wild!! Lol🙈 yay. So after I get back from my jog with the kiddos in the jogger I realize I'm starving and throw some chocolate #bbp, #sprouted walnuts and pumpkin seeds, #raw honey, 2 #pastured #eggyolks, raw #cacao, and fresh ground #flax seeds into a jar of homemade #rawmilk, #grassfed, #wholemilk #yogurt. I scarfed it down (see stories for pics😬😋) and then decided to make a whole nother bowl --this time with coconut and mixed berries-- so I could take a picture, and then proceeded to eat that one too.
