Most humans buy a Ferrari or go on a vacation when they enter a mid-life crisis.

Lilith is no longer human and very immortal but she doesn't know how else to label her impulsive decision to befriend the recently deceased feral deer tearing though Pride like tissue paper.

Lilith was tired.

Eternity takes a toll. And after countless years singing like a caged bird and keeping spirits high, she had begun to loose her passion. There was only so long she could look past the hopelessness of her surroundings.

And then the Radio Demon arrived.

He wasn't particularly special all things considered. If she wasn't in such a dire mood, if Lucifer wouldn't stop closing himself off from her, if Charlie wasn't going through puberty and making it everyone's problem-

Well, she probably wouldn't have even noticed him.

Lilith becomes not quite friends with Alastor and his passion and love for hell reignites her own. Over the decades she finds that she cares for this idiotic sinner more than she ever would have expected.

Her love for Lucifer had been quick and all-consuming. Her love for her daughter had been just as instantaneous. She didn't know how to deal with love that crept up on her like a weed and took decades to bloom.

...Maybe she should take that vacation after all.

Somehow these two jaded biblical lovers come to love this crazy sinner at very different points in time. And he somehow manages to help them become closer to each other and re-learn to love the humanity that had initially doomed them. Here's to hoping the consequences of bringing him into the relationship isn't as damning as theirs was.

Agatha all along finale thoughts

I wondered why I had such contradictory feelings about the finale (with it being wonderful and exciting and shocking and absolutely great in it's own way but still at the end I just felt like something was missing)

And it's the lack of resolution the lack of depth and truth behind Agatha's story

I especially wanted to see in that flashback how she changed over the years and in particular AFTER Nicky died

not that centuries ago she already was this same Agatha we see at the beginning of the series

But then again maybe the truth is that in real life we too often find ourselves with unresolved feelings and unchanged personalities (including ours') and despite how unpleasant — that's just how it is

What if when you're revived in the library you end up losing all your memories of L corp like how it is on your first day working there. How would Binah react to this?

no. not this again. she can't go through this yet again, for the hundredth, thousandth, millionth time. in the facility she could bear it, sleeping and waking to the same beginning over and over. but here- all the others come to intact. only you sit up from where you were asleep, looking around in confusion. at first Binah thinks you're merely dazed, crouching by you and settling her hand on your head, but no- you don't recognize her, or your coworkers, or anyone, staring up at her with trepidation. you ask her what her name is. her fingers twitch as she fights to keep her composure, carefully schooling her expression into one of polite neutrality and sitting back with a silent breath. and she tilts her head, slightly, just as you used to do to her

you're not sure what's going on in this strange place. the people around you call it a Library and speak of light. you can't quite see it. this Floor you're working in is rather dark, lit only by floating stars and candles. although, you're never certain of anything here. why the books seem to contain nothing and everything. what your purpose is here. who the odd strangers you're forced into battle with are- isn't this a bit excessive? this is a Library, after all. you're not given an explanation, merely told to work and keep working and ignore the odd, pitying glances the other librarians give you. wondering why that elegant, regal lady, your Patron Librarian Binah, always looked at you silently, dark eyes weeping without tears. you didn't know her, before this

once again rambling about five and lila because i’m fucking pissed. enjoy

“five and lila were perfect for each other because they had so much in common” yet so many perfect couples have absolutely nothing in common???

they could relate to each other in ways that made them hate each other and that’s why they were SUCH good foil characters, i don’t understand why the romance had to be necessary.

there is absolutely no reason that this romance plotline should’ve been created. it was so ridiculously off-focus from what the plot was (AND should have been) and it literally only made the season so much worse.

do writers understand that not every single character has to fall in love with one another? i mean genuinely?

personally i don’t believe five is aro (though he could be ace) because i can’t help but love five’s love for delores (even if she wasn’t real) but i completely understand five aroace truthers because he truly can be independent romantically as we saw in the show.

i cannot wrap my fucking head around the fact that the writers saw two awesome, dynamic, badass characters with arcs and goals outside of love and attention and decided to turn their personalities inside out and upside down for a dumbass dead-end romance that makes zero sense.

five and lila were the only two people on god’s green earth who could understand each other and hated the other for it. why couldn’t they just be frenemies and call it a day?
