me when a ship gets super popular all of a sudden but i see them as a very extremely specific flavor of queerplatonic and i have to deal with people gushing about how romantic their plot is everywhere all the time:

#;ooc#ooc#;mun art#MOCTE BE UPON YE#/its a sketch but now icant unsee the fact that his tecpatl looks like a fish#IOEUTORITUR#currently im studying c.hica umino's style bc i like how home-y it feels and#those soft pencil-like strokes#one day i'll go back to studying p.ako's and w.ada's -clenches hands on fists- oh and n.akahara's!#the dreamy-like feel; its like if drawing was cotton candy; thats how i would describe it :nods:#and i find it funny how differently it feels to not draw sharp edges/lines#im used to drawing those kind of lines so its def an interesting excercise!#so i wanna see of incorporating a softer more dreamy look to my drawings too for when the vibes hit u know?#c.hica's drawings have a lot of softer edges and the sharp lines usually tend to fall around clothes and more simplified shapes of clothes#but eyes and face are very soft#first attempt was with a less texture-y brush; then i tried with a more pencil like one; which i feel did help a lot with the lines looking#less structured per say#as reference i looked up her drawings on the o.beron book + a manga she did; personally i havent read it but it also looks very soft#it also just hit me that in overall; i've drawn more m.octezumas than gils; and g.il is in the team of my old muses#anywyas;; ITS THE WEEKENDDD YIPPEEEEEE#;dl#also my god o.beron looks like he got a mugshot on the first one oIUTEOIUTE
