So I got some concerns about the debunking and the video so I will be addressing them in this edit, first

To be completely honest I have no idea, at the time of making this video I was going to block out all the stuff I Screenshoted if it want relevant to what I was ranting about but I ended up taking a different approach to that and I just didn’t rescreenshot that picture which is bad on my part I will admit seeing as a lot of people took that ss out of context,, that is a mistake I will not be making again, even if so the part that was blurs said that Finnley had my account blocked which is true but as a stated in the video i saw her post through a reblog on an account I follow that is all that there is to it.

2. “Why were you viewing her accounts in the first place?”

Well a friend had came to me a while back telling me that she had made a bunch of posts about me trying to get me cancelled or to “get me exposed” and I being me was going to use that information if true to defend myself, I did find out that it was not true at the time I had checked and when I found out she didn’t actually spread anything about me at the time I moved on and forgot about it.

3. “Why was the screenshot of your rant you made blurred out?”

I had made this rant at the time before knowing finnleys had a new name, so i had used there now dead name at the time of making that rant, now at the time of making this response video I had learned that their name was now finnley and not that name so I had kept it blurred for their comfort as I don’t believe they would want people spreading around their old dead name, as to why it’s blurred discord wise, I blur their name because they are my ex and I do it for my own comfort.

in general I hope this clears up confusion because I’m tired of all this drama and negativity coming towards me + everyone being confused about certain aspects of the response, have a nice day and thank you!!

Not really appreciating the Reddit atheist rhetoric cropping up around anti-astrology posts. We have our own Indigenous divination systems that use placement of celestial bodies and calendar dates that may determine qualities of a person’s soul as well as and including their future, their strengths and weaknesses, the animal spirit that is linked to this person, and their relationship with the gods. Typically, we also believe in free will and a fluid aspect to these qualities that one can influence through their choices. In any case, I don’t have much to say about western astrology; I realize white people can be wack about spirituality in general and will apply these concepts in ways that are very unproductive and even cruel— and that deserves criticism. However, the sweeping statements being made about astrological traditions broadly (eg comparing the concept in and of itself to phrenology and race science, pathologizing the practice as a symptom of mental illness) aren’t cool either.

Please let me know if I’m overstepping as a system that formed in ways other than TBMC but as someone who experienced new age abuse I’m not fond of how the most popular critics of new age at least on this site think programmed systems don’t exist at all. Most programmed systems I’ve seen who actually do research don’t accept UW Oz or Svali as spokespeople for them and are aware it’s not a world organization but rather disconnected groups (usually conservative Christian) doing their own thing to their victims and that programming isn’t magic. Yes there’s a problem with people convincing themselves they’re programmed when they aren’t and making it seem more common than it actually is but treating it as absolutely nonexistent doesn’t do people a favor either

I am typically neutral to most things in fiction, so there’s not much point in throwing hissy fits over minor stuff and things that don’t affect sane people much unless the creators, canon and even the fandom are truly toxic and problematic. While there are technically bad apples in every fandom, some are way worse than the others so I block and filter out as much as I can for my own sanity. Yes, that includes blogs who still support badly written canon content.

AI images/artists (At first I didn’t think much of it but it clutters many art sites with all these different tags if #ai art isn’t used! Not only does it have delusional fake artists and their audience who thinks it’s fine, it’s especially bad news for inactive or even deceased online users. Like, it’s unethical and most sharp eyed users see how flawed the “art” is. That makes mediocre human drawn art look good because they aren’t that blurry or has these machine made flaws. The AU Generated art is often uncredited which can confuse people. Oh god, I hate the realistic/real life ones the most because what if that’s used without that person’s consent? What if that’s used to make an innocent person look bad?)

Vivziepop Stans (I used to like her art but Helluva Boss’ plot of portraying the main toxic romantic relationship as good is uncomfortable… the same ppl can criticize Val/Angel or MothDust but defend Stolitz??? I’m glad that critics point out the similarities because aren’t they both technically abusive relationships? Toxic relationships are toxic regardless of their sexualities and how it’s written!)

Heterophobic/Homophobic (I legit don’t understand the intense hate from both sides, y’all just have different labels and sexualities/preferences that are seen as socially acceptable and legal. But there are vile ppl who use their gender and/or sexuality as a shield which is unacceptable!)

Reality Shifters/Otherkin (suddenly fictional drawn OCs and reader fics look like stellar content that’s much more preferable! It’s kinda weird that irl ppl insert themselves into fictional stories instead of creating OCs or just using canon characters…)

Age Regression/Age Play blogs (this type of content is kinda weird… it’s annoying and unnerving that teen/adult characters or even real people behave like little children to cope or smth. I'm am ex new ager, long ago. But even back then it was just as culty as it is now.

"You signed a soul contract to learn these lessons in this life before you were born," is just as shitty and toxic as "it's all part of God's plan." Then just how dangerously close most of the ideas get to an alt-right pipeline is scary. If it doesn't go right, it still tends to go extreme. I think new age beliefs have also dug into modern witchcraft beliefs and make it hard to sometimes pry the two apart depending on the maker of the content.

We also had a new ager come into the metaphysical shop I used to work at talking about 5D and higher vibrations and stuff. She basically accused us of going to hell because I decided to tell her "some of us are okay where we are, getting to help people get where they want to go." And she had no recognition of the harm she just spewed? I don't get them, yo.

Diary of an Ex-Witch- Story Idea

I have a new idea for a story.

It's going to be about a young woman who escaped from the lies of the new age and witchcraft. It was one of those random ideas that blossomed into something bigger.

I've decided to write it in a diary format. I'm now working on what exactly she would want to write about.

-How she woke up from the deception

-How she ended up sucked into the new age in the first place

-How these things have affected her relationships

-How has seeking Jesus changed her life

And many more ideas like that.

I'm also going to throw in a cult of delusional young women who think the demon lowercase g they're worshipping is actually doing them any favours. I saw this a lot on tik tok when I was on the app.
