I like to believe Manwhore Ody got home shortly after the war ended because he didn't have to deal with any of the bullshit that canon Ody has to deal with.

Like imagine: if only he seduced his way out of the whole Polyphemus situation, he wouldn't have pissed off Poseidon, meaning he would've got home pretty much immediately.

I'm not even saying he had to fuck Poly (he'd die), but he could've used his babygirl looks or something. Be like "I'm sorry about your sheep, pookie *bats eyelashes*", but no. He just had to abandon all reason and blind the cyclops before telling him his full legal name and address.

So Yomiel has alot of regrets in the lost past years, but one thing he for sure didn't regret was definitely taking care of Sissel.

I am 100% sure Yomiel would have gone mad(or worse even) and plan the whole revenge thing WAY earlier if he never had met Sissel to bring him comfort. Since that mean he didn't have a Friend to talk with or see him and still make him Feel like a living person.

And that would have been pretty bad for Sissel as well, because he would never found someone who truly understands him too. And since he's still a fragile Kitten who's probably very hungry, he could die very easily, without the comfort of anyone. He would have been all alone.

Aka it could've been a bad time for everyone.

But luckily the man in red had his Son at that time, so everything's ended up (mostly) fine! :D

Of course he's not going to do the normal thing and ask the man, so he settles for finding ways to get up close and personal to try and see for himself without being obvious (-> he fails)

But every time he gets a close enough look they're different. One day they look blue but the next they look hazel. One moment they look brown but then he turns his head and a different light catches on them and they look almost green

It turns into one big game of "How close will he let me get? How much will he let me see?" And it's not until he's gotten to the point of being a breath away from Ice's face- close enough to brush lips- and standing under the bright white LEDs that he realizes that they're gray

Sometimes I think about how 999 has Hongou live at the end while the rest of Cradle dies by his hand… Like, he is a vile person. Zero, the people explicitly trying to get revenge on him for Akane's murder, they left him alive. Vulnerable and in the trunk of a car driven by people who hate him, sure, but still alive, even knowing that he'd never regret his actions!!! He showed us that he wouldn't!! Zero gave him the MISSION to confess to his crimes or else deal with the Nonary Game, and he refused to confess, and killed people to avoid the crimes coming to light!!! He decided that he'd rather dig himself deeper than ever repent!!! And then Zero forces him to have his crimes exposed anyways. While ALIVE. While having the blood of the people he killed on his hands, with Zero avoiding getting her hands dirty.

it's interesting to me how kyo is always placing himself in wide open spaces - on the roof, near big/open windows, at the edge of the porch looking out to the garden. i think it can be reasonably assumed that he's actively seeking out open spaces because he knows his time with them is limited. meanwhile, yuki has very acute claustrophobia after being locked up in a dark room so many times as a child. he's okay in regular rooms but has full-on panic attacks when confined to a small, dark space like a closet. he must've recognized the impulse in kyo to find places that aren't dark and suffocating. i'm sure he had similar impulses when he started living with shigure. um. i don't know where i'm going with this. something about how yuki knows exactly what kyo's future hell will be like and still does nothing about it
