Danny doesn't want to go, but Vlad can't leave him, so Danny isn't given much of a choice. He's going to the Christmas Gala in Gotham.

"Come now, Little Badger. Christmas is a time of peace. Can't we have our own truce?"

Danny's eyes don't flick to the watch on Vlad's wrist. One of the most expensive on the market, he tells people, powered by ice. People usually think he means diamonds. He doesn't.

"We already have a truce." Danny grumbles, but doesn't protest again. Protesting is a luxury, and he's already learned how much he can grumble before Vlad's eyes flash. Danny is allowed to be an ornery teenager, he is not allowed to be rebellious.

So that's all he does, grumble and drag his feet and complain. He says he doesn't want to go to a suit fitting, but he still follows Vlad out the door. He will always follow Vlad out the door.

At least they don't fight fight anymore. It's been ages since Danny has powered up, ectorays pooling in his hands. There's been no ghostly rogues (friends) to spar with. There's been no aggressive spooks attacking town. Vlad has no reason to scheme and attack Danny like he used to - he's gotten what he wanted and no one is left to complain.

From the airplane window, Danny catches the remains of Fentonworks. The neon sign is dark, the ops center on top tilted and dark. It's hard to tell from the air, but Danny can remember the boarded up windows, the ruined lawn. It's been nearly two months. He thought Amity Park would have torn down the ops center at least as soon as they could; there must be some legal reasons they haven't. Danny pries his attention away from where he grew up to try to make out Sam or Tucker's house. Vlad's private jet is small and flies low, and Danny suspects this is the last time he'll get a glimpse of Amity Park, the last chance to see his friends, to gaze on his haunt.

The paperwork has gone through - Vlad is legally Danny's guardian. Vlad can take Danny out of state.

Because although Voldemort was a mass murder, genocide supporter, blood racist, classist, backstabbing, asshole... That was still Tom's dad

But even then, Voldemort wasn't a great father. He was actually the worst father to ever live. For all of Tom's childhood, he was brain washed and tortured to believe his father was amazing, and sadly it worked on him

He's the exact opposite of Tom, he actually really respects and likes Harry

After Harry killed Voldemort, he felt so free. It was like Harry got rid of the shackle that was keeping him down for so long

Unlike Tom, Mattheo always knew that what their father was doing was wrong and cruel - but he was forced to go along with the family's plans because he'd be punished if he didn't

Not only that, Mattheo and Harry both play Quidditch and are good rivals - he loves the competition

So he actually gets along fine with Harry

When he finds out you two are actually TWINS he's so shocked like omg

He wonders what would have happened if you ate Harry while in the womb or smth

And he also wonders why you and Harry aren't exactly identical (you are identical... mattheo just doesn't understand why harry has glasses and you don't....)

Doesn't mind bringing Harry on a couple of dates - But when Harry does come... it's basically like you're third wheeling

Your cute dates are ruined because these two dumbass men decide to do stupid stuff

Like for example, a cute date of mini golfing got ruined because Harry and Mattheo decided to see who could chuck their golf ball the farthest

They ended up breaking multiple windows...

Or when Mattheo took you out to go ice skating but it got ruined because fucking Harry surprised Mattheo with hockey gear

But Theo was never a good bully... especially when he was younger

Omegas that would have obsessions — Multifandom

Notes: This is inspired by @animeomegas's headcanon of Nara's obsessions, but since I discovered it through @omeganronpa I'm giving them both credit.

Warnings: Contain MAJOR Inuyasha spoilers, might have grammar errors, confusing talk about reincarnation (I don't know what I'm saying either lol)

I had this idea for a while, cause I like the idea of the Nara clan having a sort of "soulmate", so I thought to myself "What other characters that I write for would also have obsessions?". And here are the ones I think would have:

- Inuyasha: 

»» I think he and his entire family (his father and brother) would have it, just like it happens with the Nara clan every heir has an obsession. But in Inuyasha's case, it can be a little confusing.

»» Because if we follow the canon, his obsession would be Kikyo and Kagome, considering they are the same person since Kagome is the reincarnation of Kikyo from the future. So in the end, they're the same person in different timelines.

»» So we can have three scenarios in this case, first one: Inuyasha's obsession is Alpha from the very start, and he doesn't fall in love with Kikyo.

»» Second scenario is that (Name) is the only reincarnation of Kikyo, and Kagome either doesn't exist or just isn't the reincarnation. The third scenario would be that Kagome and Alpha are twins, and they're both the reincarnation of Kikyo, but Inuyasha only obsesses over one, cause otherwise it could lead to incest and I don't like that.

»» For the majority of the anime's plot to work, I think we would have to go with a mix of the third and second scenario, in which Alpha is Kagome's older sibling (by a few years), and is also Kikyo's reincarnation but either both the siblings have priest's powers or only Kagome has.

- Sesshomaru:

»» Being Inuyasha's brother he has an obsession too, but it is a lot easier to discuss how it would work.

»» I hate that they made Sesshomaru and Rin a couple, he raised her like a daughter through the anime, and in the end (and Hanyō no Yashahime) they turned into a couple. I understand that at their time this conception might not be weird and whatnot, but it is to me, so we will pretend like it didn't happen.

»» Unlike Inuyasha, Sesshomaru would already know this concept from his father. Since Inuyasha never met his dad, I think the obsession would be all news for him and he might get overwhelmed. Which would not happen with Sesshomaru.

»» Like, don't get me wrong, I think he would avoid "activating" his obsession because for him feelings and emotions are unnecessary and he doesn't need or want that. He's also very much anti-social, so it might take a while for him to find his obsession.

»» And for it to work he would have to find them after finding and adopting Rin, because he only became more accepting of people in general after her, principally human. If Alpha is a Yokai things would probably be easier for them, but if they're a human Jaken will make their life harder (and perhaps annoy everybody).

- Tōga:

»» This is also complicated to think about, cause adding a third party to his story would probably mess up the entire anime, considering that he would have to meet his obsession before he dies.

»» So basically we have two scenarios, one which doesn't disturb the canon as much and the other that probably will. Unfortunately, I don't think there is a way to not change the story of the anime on this one.

»» So, the first scenario is a little bit long so bear with me. Tōga and Sesshomaru's mom only married for power or political purposes, so both of them knew that there was no love in the relationship (I do believe this is canon, but I haven't seen confirmation). Some years later he meets Izayoi (Inuyasha's mom) and he thinks that he has "activated" his obsession, while Izayoi was pregnant, Tōga was fighting the dragon Ryūkotsusei, and in this battle, he met his actual obsession. Who would have seen and heard the fight and decided to help Tōga defeat the dragon, and also helped on saving Izayoi and Inuyasha.

»» Still in the first scenario, this could end two ways, either both Alpha and Tōga die because of the number of lethal wounds they have, or both end up surviving and escaping with Izayoi and raise Inuyasha together. Just an addon to this, I do believe that both Tōga and Izayoi are omegas, and in my universe, male omegas can impregnate others (that can get pregnant, obviously).

»» The second scenario is a lot shorter, but Alpha is Inuyasha's and Sesshomaru's parent, just because I want them both to exist in all scenarios. So if Alpha is either a human or a yokai would probably change the outcome of this, but I do think they would all be a loving family, which is kind of a weird concept considering that Sesshomaru and Inuyasha hate each other in the anime.

- Sebastian:

»» I'm gonna be completely honest, this is heavily influenced by a mod that I installed that makes Seb completely obsessed with the farmer, so this is the only reason why he is here.

»» I don't think this would run in his family, is his thing, but it might also happen to his children, so this genetic obsession might start with him and go for the future generations.

»» From this list, his obsession is the most similar to Shikamaru's, if not more intense, he is a very socially anxious person who only has two actual friends and spends the majority of his days in his room hidden from everyone and everything. He even got a job where he doesn't need to be talking to people or leaving his room.

»» It would be the first time he meets someone and has clear feelings for them, so it would be overwhelming to him and he would not know what to do, but would still try to spend as much time with his obsession as physically possible.

»» Now this would be weird for both Alpha and Seb, considering nobody else in the town has an obsession and he never acted like this towards anybody or thing.

narinder is a single dad to baal and aym, he adopted the twins when they were about three years old. i didn't think too much about jobs he could have and stuff so idk. he's been no contact with his siblings for a few years at this point after an incident (don't worry they'll all make up at some point)

in this au, the lamb's name is agnus. their friends just call them their last name, lambert (it's silly i know). agnus grew up in the south (southern accent lamb is real trust) and moved up north right before high school. they were pretty popular in high school had a huuuge crush on narinder (who was not at all popular for his reputation of being a dick and probably starting fights) all four years. they end up becoming an elementary school teacher, and imagine their surprise when on parent-teacher conference night, their old high school crush walks in after not seeing him for more than 10 years after graduation.

the bishops are all biological siblings (half-siblings, since they're all different species) they all got the tall genes though, except for leshy. they're also all autistic. i don't make the rules here (yes i do)

shamura is probably a lawyer? (cause... knowledge and stuff??? idk.) they're definitely the type of sibling to bring up embarrassing childhood memories and keep photo albums of their siblings to show and embarrass them with lol. they also still text narinder every holiday/birthday to wish him well, even though he never replies. they definitely worry about and miss their baby brother

kallamar is a doctor. don't rlly have much to say about him but narinder definitely still freaks him out. i also like to think he took up painting or something art related as a hobby as some kind of way to destress with his anxiety and everything

heket is a professional chef. she probably scares little kids on the street with her rbf. absolutely has anger issues too. actually, think of gordon ramsay if he was a lesbian and a frog. there she is. also didn't have too much to say about her either oops

leshy probably does something plant related? not too sure yet. anyways like i said, he's the only one who didn't inherit the bishop tall genes. his siblings ABSOLUTELY make fun of him for it. also, i imagine his first word was 'fuck', because at that point narinder realized if he said a word enough times at his baby brother, he would probably repeat it. shamura was less than happy with this.

anyways those are kind of my little thoughts on this au i MIGHT write about it sometime if i get the plot in order idk

Yeah, so while we're on the subject of siblings, I should probably tell you about mine, and my two dads as well. My family falls squarely into the category of 'wild facts you could never make up', no joke.

We're a stupidly large family, just so you know. I'm the youngest of six siblings, and all six of us are science babies. My oldest siblings are Camellia and Forest, and they're twins. Next is Matsu, and then there's the triplets; Midori, Willow and me. Oh, and if you're wondering about why some of us have English-sounding names and some of us have Japanese names, it's because our Dad, Fox Abbottsford, is a Canadian and our Papa, Takahiro Suzuki, is Japanese. They met in Japan when Dad was there on a working holiday visa, and they have this absolutely crazy love story, but that's a tale for another time. The reason for our mixed bag of names is because they wanted us to have names that reflected both their cultures, so here we are.

Oh, and fun fact. Me, Matsu and Midori don't have middle names, which is part of Japanese naming tradition. Forest, Camellia and Willow do have middle names, and I don't know if I should be envious of that or grateful that I only had to learn how to spell two names instead of three when I was in first grade and we were all practising how to write them.

Right. Why did I sign up to be on Total Drama?

Hooo man... where do I even start with that? When you're one of six, 'total drama' is a way of life! I figured I'd be pretty good at it, because I'm used to chaos. I mean, 'chaos' should be our family motto or something.

Actually, let me tell you the real reason I signed up, besides the ongoing total drama in our household.

When you're one of six, there's this never-ending competition for attention, and this constant need to distinguish yourself from your brothers and sisters. Don't get me wrong. I love all my brothers and sisters, especially my older brother Matsu, but it's hard to be the youngest and the most unremarkable. I don't just have one shadow to live in. I have five.

For example, my absolute nerd of a brother Forest is like, this insanely gifted artist, just like Dad. Forest already has his illustrations in a children's book and he's only 18. Also, despite being Nerd Number One, he somehow managed to land the most popular girl at school as his girlfriend. Also, Forest's girlfriend Caroline is hot and she's a star athlete. Everybody's always talking about how great they are together. Like, how's a guy supposed to level up to that?

My other siblings all have their thing, too. My sister Camellia is good at acting, and Matsu is amazing at sports and the captain of the cheer squad. Midori and Willow are identical, which always gets them noticed just because, but also Midori is already planning her career as an aesthetician, and Willow is super-smart like Forest and wants to become an engineer.

As for me, I'm not sure what I want to do yet. I'm okay at most things, but not awesome like my siblings, and I don't have my future figured out like some of them do. I'm thinking maybe I'd like to be a police officer and work in something science-y like forensics, 'cause I really love science. Or I might like to be a journalist, 'cause I'm good at finding out stuff that people don't necessarily want me to know.

My dads keep telling me that being nosy isn't really a good thing, but I prefer to think of it as inquisitiveness. Anyway, I'd use my powers for good, so I think it's okay.

Everyone says I talk too much, so I should probably wrap this up so I don't annoy people too much. Kinda insecure about that, to be honest, but like... I can't help myself. Sometimes I feel awkward 'cause I don't know if I'm talking too much or not and I'm worried about what people might think. Like, 'Oh no, not that guy again. He can never shut up', or whatever.

On the last day of Summer Elucea sets up a get together with Oliana, Paka'a, and Tera. With her new number and email she's been keeping in touch with them regularly but has been so busy with her little farm that she hasn't actually seen them. Tera has suggested that none of them be invited over to the house in case they were followed if she really didn't want Kana or Absalom to find her. But with the location she chose she doesn't know if that was strictly true anymore.

Oliana: Wow El you are PREGNANT pregnant! I feel like it's been forever since we last saw you. Are you sure you're only in your second trimester? You look like you should already be in the Labor stage.

Elucea: *laughs* I'm at the end of it and should switch to the third trimester any day now so maybe I already have a third trimester belly. I am having twins after all so it could just be that

Paka'a: Are you sure this cafe in Evergreen Harbor was the best option if you're still hiding from Tae and Kana? Oh El! You should see him though! Taehyung I mean. He's all tatted up now! Like I knew you found him attractive but DAMN!* If you don't get back with him I might take a shot at it. I see the two of them working out at Movers and Shakers together all the time and I'm there like three times a week!

Tera: What better place to meet then right under their noses? They'd never look here.

Elucea: - to Paka'a - Together? And since when do you go to the gym?

Oliana: They comes with me and Leila. They take the Yoga classes together while I workout. And yeah they're always together. After you sold your house in Sulani, which they were living in when you were kidnapped, the two of them moved back into Kan's apartment here.

Elucea: So they're getting along? Maybe friends?

Tera: I wouldn't say they've necessarily become friends but they've been friendly in public. At least until they get into the boxing ring and spar with each other. Then you'd think we were watching some sort of Gladiator match or UFC fight.

Elucea: The Watcher downloaded a Boxing Mod? And how would you know? You never leave the house! It was like pulling teeth to get you out today.

Tera: I have audio processors and your sisters like to talk. And of course it was because with me gone your siblings have to care for their offspring themselves. And they're none too happy for this upgrade you purchased, same as you their children are calling me Mom and not them.

Elucea's eyes flash to the Dragon as she looks at Tera before she can get it back under control, hoping no one saw. No one here cared that she was Occult, with Paka'a being Mer same as her, but would they end their friendship over the Dragon?

Elucea: Like I give a Woohock I've pissed them off. For all intents and purposes you ARE their mother.

Paka'a: Anyway . . . No Mod but maybe The Watcher thought about it or they planned on screenshots or something because there's definitely a "ring" built there but either way every time we go they're in there sparring so *shrugs*

Elucea finishes her coffee date with her friends not really paying too much attention to the conversation. She's thinking about her men. Are things better? Tera says no and she would know better than anyone because when they talk over the phone she tells Elucea how they keep coming around looking for her so she interacts with them more than anyone else. So why do Paka'a and Oliana's words seem to ring with more truth than Tera's?

Okay, so the entire team has their own negatives that everyone seems to like.. make a good thing and use it to their advantage?

Obviously, for plot reasons, you have Shoto's family trauma too.

They have NEVER seen your ice/fire curse as something to be looked down upon, but they never really tried to convince you it isn't.

I feel like they'd be too awkward about it knowing the background LMFAO

Because of this, you just kind of thought they were equally as ashamed of you as you were with yourself.

It's some powerful magic shit so they try to tell you to be careful about it, you took it the wrong way

You eventually end up talking to Keyleth about it, and she started squabbling about it to you nervously because she thought she offended you

In all actuality, they all love you and enjoy your company.

They think its cool when you do ice tricks.

It obviously took you a while to warm up to them with fire magic, and its always nice to have around winter.

Pike specifically asks you to warm a lot of stuff up for her, since you figured out how to just make your hands warm.

Usually things like socks, blankets, food, drinks, or for you to boil water in the middle of no where.

It's always a funny conversation to have with her.

"Heyyy.. uhmmm... You mind-"

You take the item and already start heating your hands up.

"No. No I do not."

You love being helpful to them ˙◠˙

Percy likes to bring you to his little workshop and make you his assistant, he finds its much easier to make weaponry or contraptions with someone who can help him bend metal.

"Hands?"

You stick your hands out, and he places a long, thin, spiral of metal on them.

"Thank you." You hum. in response to him.

Percy is so thankful to you out of all of them. He says thank you for every little thing.

their firstborn is a girl and she's a january capricorn. i like to think she was born a mini adult. she was born frowning and serious. and as she grew up, that didn't really change. she's super focused and super quiet. no one knows what she's thinking and she just might be plotting your murder. she's super ambitious but she's also super protective of the people she loves. she'll only warm up to someone if they're worth her time and most people aren't strong enough so she has a group of very close knit friends. she has a good relationship with both of her parents but she wishes her dad was around a little more.

their second born is a boy and he's an october scorpio. born the day before halloween, it definitely shows in his personality. he's that tall, dark, brooding stereotype. he's hot but he gives people the creeps because he prefers to linger in the shadows and watch people. he's more in touch with his demon side and is a little ruthless, but it manifests in the most hilarious of times. kill or be killed applies strictly to academics and internships. he's only really soft around his family, especially his mother. his relationship with his dad is not the best because this kid is way too honest and will strip eren down to his bones with how much truth he spits out. he's had only one girlfriend his whole life and they met in pre-school and he decided he'd marry her one day. the end.

their third is a boy and he's an august leo. he's the opposite of his brother. he's hella warm and has a personality big enough for the whole family. but being the third out of so many kids, he actually craves a lot of attention which he doesn't always get. so he works extra hard to get the best grades, he's the president of every club he's in, and even chores are a competition. he's really annoying but it really stems from his anxiety about being forgotten. he also has a temper and he's really hard on himself. but again, he's really warm and friendly and generally likable. he loves his parents and strives to make them proud. he has to be kept from telling people that his dad's an actual demon.

their fourth is yet another boy and he's a july cancer. he's a quiet and sensitive boy. like his eldest brother, he prefers to be in the shadows but he's not off-putting like he is. he just likes to observe people. he catches things no one does because he's so observant. he takes the whole "listen don't speak" thing to heart and as a result, he really understands people and how they operate. when he is upset, he's always going to his mother for comfort. and he's very big on the "forgive not forget" mentality because he will never stop reminding his siblings or even his dad about that one screw up from years ago. he probably has a photographic memory too.

their fifth is a girl and she's an october libra. born a twin, she's a creative and whimsical child. she's basically the embodiment of a fairy straight out of storybook. her head is constantly in the clouds and her favorite thing to carry around is a notebook and a camera because she's always inspired to write something down. because she's so often in her own world, she has a bit of a distant relationship with her parents and her siblings. she stays out of most conflict in the house because it can get pretty intense and she disassociates as a result. when she is involved, she plays mediator. most of the time, though, she's writing or daydreaming about something. she ends buying a cottage in the swiss countryside where she probably becomes an adult fantasy writer. she is a sweet girl but a bit of an airhead too.

their sixth is also a girl and an october libra. born a twin, she's also a quiet creative but while her sister is a writer, she's more of a painter and photographer. unlike her sister, she's a little more down-to-earth and has a much closer relationship to her parents. at first her relationship with her father isn't great but he starts taking an interest in her hobbies and joins her often to go paint or take photos. she plays mediator but she's also a lot better at reading the room than her older twin is. she has a lot of prizes from art and photography contests which makes her older brother compete with her often. she just wants her peace.

their seventh is a boy and a february aquarius like his mother. he's the little scientist of the bunch, going off of hard logic and data. emotions have no meaning or place to him but he's only moved by his mom's tears or pain, but no one else's. he also has a decent relationship with his dad but his dad is perpetually annoyed by how robotic he seems. he's not cold, he's just not emotional. he is there for his siblings when the need arises.

their eighth is also a boy and an april aries. he's basically his dad's mini-me. anger with absolutely no filter or tact. he hates sleeping because sleep is boring and he constantly has to be doing something or he'll actually get depressed. he has a wild imagination though and he's often exploring the world around him because he wants to see more of it. he comes from a loud house so he has to be the loudest one in the bunch so that everyone can hear him. his dad is his idol and he wants to be just like him, while he's super protective of his mother and his siblings. he's fiercely loyal and only sports helps him channel his anger appropriately.

the ninth and final is a girl and a may taurus. she's basically her mother's mini-me. well, she's a lot like canon mikasa in that she's quiet, needs warmth, very loving, a homebody, and very down to earth. being the baby of the family, she's doted on by her siblings and parents. even though she's half demon, she has the temperament and personality of an angel. by the time she's in middle school, she's gotten household chores down even better than her mom. she's a devoted plant mom and wants to be a botanist or florist when she's older. she's just very soft, sweet, and wishes no harm to anyone.

Noah is bi and Tessa is demi! They're both cis

Tessa dyed part of her hair blond because of Libber (she has curly brown hair normally like Jay's) while Noah has a dyed streak with curly black hair like Nya's

Both of them have ADHD and slight autistic traits from Jay, but Tessa got Nya's compulsiveness and Noah got hit with the depression stick

Tessa is around 5'2 and Noah is 5'7

Most of the time they get along very well and they rarely fight unlike most twins. They actually like sharing some of their stuff and Jay kept enough boundaries between them to keep from having to share everything

When they do fight it's just because their mental health is conflicting on a bad day. Noah's depression is hitting a little too hard or Tessa's anxiety is a little too high and sometimes it's a mix. They always work it out tho

Keeping in theme with the Dad Jay AU, both of them are ultra-attached to Jay. Not having Nya around meant that both of them experienced the typical single parent clinginess. Cole was actually kinda like a second dad to them and he was the most supportive after Nya was gone

Tessa got super attached to Cole and Noah got super attached to Pixal and Zane. Both of them are equally attached to Lloyd and Kai

In this version of the AU combined with Taddy's (@taddymason) and Levi's (@rainofthetwilight), the Ninja didn't have any other kids. But in my separate one, most of the EMs sent whatever kids they had to be trained at the Monastery to be Ninjas!

Even though Noah is bigger than her Tessa is still extremely protective over him. Noah is very sensitive because he inherited Jay's empathy and if someone hurts her little brother's feelings they will pay in blood

Noah is thrilled to have a little brother in Ethan esp when they have the same powers, and Tessa is fighting for her life and drowning in the tension between Kaida and Jenna

AFTG Headcannons!

i'm currently rereading the books and i thinking about the foxes and i just need some fluff in my life.

· First Andrew and his Arms TM. How much he lifts in the gym is notable enough for Neil to point it out. He could out-lift anyone on the foxes and anyone on his new team post graduation. Which is incredibly funny to think about because he's literally 5 foot. Horribly unbalanced. Neil wants to lick his biceps.

· Every one of the foxes has seen andriel making out on the roof. Aaron is scarred for life. Kevin wishes they would spend that time on the court. Nicky has to be restrained so he doesn't take a picture to send to Allison. Wymack heaves a long suffering sigh. Why did the universe set him up with these idiots?

· Neil thinks of half his comebacks in advance. the other half is adapted from his pre-existing list. He talks so much shit in his head he just starts writing it down. Neil is a planner. Andrew also knows about this list. Sometimes Neil writes them down for him to give his critiques.

· Andrew and Aaron learn to fight like normal brothers eventually. Imagining those boys bickering like siblings breaks me in half.

· Aaron has a stage where he dyes his hair brown for like a couple months. He didn't ask for twin, did he? Him and Andrew don't talk much during this little rebellion.

· The foxes actually call drunk Kevin "Kevin Night". I saw a post about Kevin Night being all about destroying his liver and safe to say that is the funniest thing i have ever seen in this fandom. It's a running gag among the foxes and you'll Never Guess who started it. (nicky)

· When Andrew and Neil both eventually quit smoking, Neil takes to drawing all over Andrew's hand to curb his cravings, and somehow it spirals into him sketching on his arms, legs and torso and months later, under his armbands. But it all comes to a head years later when Andrew wakes up with a fox paw on his ass. Neil can't show his neck in public for months.

· One morning after a particularly bad nightmare, instead of Andrew hitting out, it was Neil. Andrew has a bloody nose by the end of it and Neil has never felt worse. More proof that he's nothing, that he's not worthy of the foxes, that all he can do is hurt, because oh god He Hurt Andrew- Andrew puts a stop to it as soon as he isn't dripping blood all over the carpet. Healing isn't linear, junkie.

· Once Andrew gets to the stage where he's ok with hickeys, Neil suddenly can't leave enough of them. If the foxes didn't know better, they would tease the hell out of him but sometimes their self preservation instincts get the better of them. Often, much the Aaron's disgust, the place bets on how many bruises will be on his neck the morning after. Renee refuses to bet on principle.

· Allison teaching Neil to dress himself and taking him on their weekly shopping dates. I just love the idea of it so much. The freshmen thinking they're dating because of it. Allison dressing Neil to kill, for Andrew's sake. Almost all the clothes she buys him end up on the floor afterwards. Allison teaching Neil to do eyeliner. Neil with getting a matching helix piercing with Allison. Everyone dies a little once they see it. Matt drools a little.

· As Neil becomes more up to date with his flirting skills, he realises that "Doesn't mean I wouldn't blow you" is literally the most insane this to say during a conversation. He teases Andrew mercilessly and Andrew does that thing where he blushes with his ears and snogs the life out of Neil. He doesn't believe in regret but even he isn't immune to Neil's particular brand of wind-up.

(Since this is a single-muse blog, I'm going to include muses I've played on other blogs. I'm not going to include every muse I've ever written though because 1. it already feels funny talking about muses that 99% of my followers have never seen me write, and 2. some of them were very short-lived. So I'm only including the ones that I've written most or were most significant, plus my newest one that I haven't written yet, since they've been on my mind a lot lately.)

1) Rank your softest Muse and your toughest Muse. (Personality-wise) - Strictly personality-wise, softest to toughest: Ted Logan (Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure), Max Caulfield (Life is Strange), Izaya Orihara (Durarara!!), Amaimon (Blue Exorcist), Satoru Gojo (Jujutsu Kaisen), Negan, Levi Ackerman (Attack on Titan.) This is kind of funny though because aside from Ted and Max, none of these characters can really be considered "soft."

2) Which Muse would blow through $1000 quickly? - Gojo. But he's also rich rich, so $1000 is nothing to him. He canonically owns shirts that cost more than that. Aside from him, I think if you gave Ted $1000 he could easily blow it all on music gear and albums pretty quickly lol.

3) Do any of them have nicknames? Is there a meaning behind them? - Negan has been called "Neegs" by a few, but not many can get away with that. "Ted" is short for Theodore, and "Max" is short for Maxine (never call Max by her full name, she hates it.)

4) Are any of them up-to-speed on the latest trends? Anyone more old school? - Ted, Gojo, and Max are most likely to be up-to-speed on trends, but Max appreciates the old school stuff (she prefers analog cameras over digital for her photography, for instance.) Levi and Negan are more old school, though Negan might attempt to learn trends to seem cool to his students/the kids (it rarely works.)

5) Who has the best relationship with their siblings? - Three of them have siblings: Ted, Izaya, and Amaimon. Ted and his little brother probably have the best relationship, at least as kids, though he deals with insecurity and envy as their dad clearly favors his brother. Izaya has two sisters who are twins and about ten years his junior. Their parents were abroad for work so much that he basically raised them, but his bad influence played part in them turning out eccentric. Their relationship is complicated and a bit love/hate. Amaimon has six brothers and a sister. They are all demons (literally, they are children of Satan lol.) He's only seen interacting with one which I interpret him to have a neutral to positive relationship with. I don't see him having a close relationship with any of the others. But I also haven't read or watched the series in years, so I have no idea if more has been revealed.

6) Karaoke night! Who is likely to grab the mic first and bust out a tune? - Ted. Max will join him with some encouragement. Negan if he's had a few drinks.

7) Who is least likely to enter a beauty pageant/model? - Levi (he could actually probably do well as a model, but suggest this and he'll vehemently deny it.) Also Amaimon because he doesn't spend much time on Earth and probably doesn't even know what a beauty pageant is.

8) If your Muses visited a haunted house where actors scare you, who would panic and who would be unfazed? - Ted and Max would be panicking (but they're having a blast.) Levi and Amaimon are unfazed.

9) Are any of your Muses particular about taking certain modes of transportation? - Not really. Max does get nervous about airplanes and Izaya prefers to walk or take a taxi/public transport. Gojo doesn't drive and either takes the train/subway, has his assistant drive him, or teleports/warps short distances since he can do that lol.

10) Share a little-known fact about any Muse. - So I can't really think of anything, but I have twd verses for most of my muses that I never got to use/talk about so I'mma ramble on about little things about them here. Ted - and Bill - were following a band on tour that summer, and were at a music venue in the Atlanta area when the outbreak hit. Bill's dad died saving them the first day, and they and Missy go on to survive traveling around in their RV for a while. Max found an old vintage photography store shortly after the outbreak and took as many packs of polaroid film as she could realistically carry. She continues taking photos, not just to document the new world but to also capture small moments of beauty and happiness within her group. Gojo acts nonchalant about the apocalypse until he loses his best friend to a walker bite, after which he essentially shuts down and locks himself in a room with the (restrained) walker for days, refusing to let anyone in. He even attempts to remove its jaw/hands to keep it with him (kind of like Michonne did), and it wasn't until after that he finally killed it. He puts on a big smile and acts fine, but the unresolved anger and grief come out in spades whenever he goes up against walkers. Izaya and his sisters are in an airport preparing to fly back to Japan when the outbreak hits, and get stranded in the Virginia/DC area. A group takes them in out of pity, despite Izaya giving them the creeps. But when his sisters are eaten in a large walker attack, the group abandons him, and he's presumed dead. Months later, cue The Saviors showing up with Izaya at Negan's side as one of his lieutenants. Surprise! Levi meets up with his uncle, the only family he has, when the outbreak happens. It doesn't take long for them to start butting heads morally - his uncle is much quicker to warm up to the idea of stealing and killing. But they stick together until they're separated while fighting a horde, and Levi's been on his own ever since, unsure if he's alive. He's eventually taken in by Alexandria, but has a hard time adjusting. I don't have anything set for Amaimon, but he's naturally violent and off-putting and very likely ends up with the Whisperers or becomes a cannibal or something lol.

I've read the WarWorld saga and I love the twins. However, like Chris, they are also sidelined and underdeveloped. Otho is the only one with agency, while Osul feels like another version of Chris. All three characters needed more time and development beyond Clark rescuing them.

Regarding Zod and Ursa's abuse, I understand this may not be what you meant, so this isn't an attack on you, but rather a statement. No child abuse ever makes sense. There is no justification for a parent to hurt their child. Ever. Unfortunately, there are people who want kids and still end up abusing them. Abuse never makes sense—some people are just awful. Zod and Ursa are simply terrible people. A wanted child doesn't always equate to a loved child, which is a sad reality. Zod and Ursa are just bad parents—monsters without any real motive, just inherently cruel. Just like all real-life abusive parents. There's no point in trying to rationalize their abusive behavior because there is no reason parents should ever abuse their child.

Anon, again oh god I hope this does not come off as me condescending to you. I have no personal anything for Chris. I'm mostly indifferent to what he is to people in fandom, all of ym gripes lie with writing decisions. I personally disagree about Otho, Osul and Chris being similarly dismisses, and I think I have textual proof Otho & Osul got more investment as characters independently, and as children to Clark more than Chris ever was, and with more intention behind WHY they act the way they do. This will not be about Chris or Osul or Otho as characters, but about how Geoff Johns wrote Chris & PKJ wrote super twins. I'm doing this to dissect storytelling and characters. I genuinely wish you all the happiness and fun for liking Chris. I am personally simply not compelled by him and I think the text doesn't provide me nearly enough of him in comparison to his counterparts and alternatives. That's all, this is just me showing why.

Right off the bat, introduction scene; this is pivotal, this is where your character makes an impact & shows us what they're about. How they talk, what they do on the regular. This is the establishing moment.

PKJ with Otho & Osul's very first scene:

I don't need to speculate or think too hard to know that Otho's the hardass who doesn't give a crap- she's resourceful, motivated entirely by survival and being warzoon. Osul's the more empathetic one, he tries to be the same kind of tough his sister is with the way he sneers and talks, but he tells her to go easy and is clearly the more open and kind one.

Sibling dynamic establish. Individual character and action established(along with individulistic design).

What was Chris's introduction scene? I'm dismissing the very first page we get of him in the pod because he isn't really a character there, but going to the scene where he does something character-wise

K, nice dramatic shot. What does this tell us about Chris Kent? He's smiling as he says "I'm hungry" and lifting up a TV set. What does this tell us? What does this mean? Why is he doing this?

In-text, this entire issue, I don't get an answer for this. We can speculate, but it's not factual. I can make up that he's lifting the cabinet to draw attention because he comes from an abusive home but I can also just as easily defy this by saying Zod & Ursa would never allow this level insubordination and disobedience by randomly lifting objects. I can say whatever I want to explain this behaviour of smiling, lifting an object and saying hes hungry but in-text, in canon, we are given no explanation for why he does this as a character.

This scene is actually in service of the audience. This is just to show us the reader, a kryptonian feat, which is simply visually repeating a thing Clark's already verbally confirmed.

But I do have a answer for why Otho & Osul said every single thing they did in their introduction scene, down to their expressions. Otho's cool with Clark being dead because dead people have resources on them she can steal to better defend herself. She's sneering because she doesn't give a crap if he's 'Superman'. Osul is looking unimpressed up there because Clark is looking rough & he is in disbelief that this is apparently the famed "Superman" who they held admiration for. His expression softens because yeah Superman is weak, but he still admired him at some point & he's trying to calm Otho. I don't need to dig or search because the writer is telling us "hey this is their deal". Otho's the more aggressive one and we spend more time with her because she's taken on the role of being the tough one, protecting Osul.

Chris? We never learn why Chris acts the way he does. In fact, we see a page immediately after the cabinet scene that puzzles me as to why Chris was lifting it in the first place. He doesn't KNOW he has these superpowers, he tries to fly like Clark and almost falls. So why is he smiling? Is he happy he's strong now? I'm purely guessing because the writing and art don't convey anything congruent. He says he doesn't have a name. He is entirely unfazed. And we never get an actual, canon explanation for why. We need it though, because these things are character defining and this behaviour especially is highly odd for a kid who just landed in a planet he doesn't know, away from the only world he understands, among complete strangers crowding around him to observe. The entire time, he smiles serenely and for some reason, trusts Clark after an extremely brief conversation. It can't be just because he's kryptonian because Zod & Ursa are also kryptonian.

Otho & Osul's reason for trusting Clark? Established immediately in the next two chapters. Otho & Osul are the most precious things to each other > Mongul says they must kill each other > But Clark says absolutely not > Twins like Clark better than Mongul because they figure out if they must become the people Mongul wants, they must destroy one another which is NOT on the table > Clark's the better bet. This is why Otho chooses to somewhat warm up to Clark and Osul goes from "hesitant" to "yeah I trust him entirely". Their trust in Clark develops slowly, we know why they're hesitant, and we know why they open up.

Chris? Why does Chris trust Clark? Is he the first kind person he encountered? What did he mean when he say "you don't belong here either, do you?" Again I can personally hc a bunch of things but it is not clearly intended by the text. GJ doesn't ever allow Chris to talk. And when Chris does, it's singular words and are rarely insightful into Chris's psyche, even in Kryptonian. Like why does Chris want to be adopted by Lois & Clark, specifically Lois, when he himself says "Lois doesn't like m" and Lois does nothing on-page to subvert this? If kindness is what made Chris attach to Clark, shouldn't he be averse to Lois the entire time?

Chris is entirely well-adjusted with Clois. We see no evidence of abuse, the stories never discuss Zod & Ursa, or what Chris specifically thinks about them. There's nothing reflected in his behaviour or character other than "he's nice". Which is fine, but again, why?

Even Jon, who experienced extreme abuse for years is now very nice. But there's an in-text reason for this. Jon refused to bend to Ultraman and kept fighting, and this meant holding onto hope. He refuses to be unkind because then he'd become like Ultraman(which was Ultraman's point). He also shows the after effects of this time through his insecurities with his powers and abilities as a hero.

Chris? Where? I read the action comic arc and the Tim stuff, there's little to nothing. He's got your typical kryptonian struggles but every Kryptonian's got em and after that it's up to the chraracter to react how they do. Otho was frustrated and immediately getting into fights, Osul was trying but still not getting the hang of it and both of them exhibited their inability to adjust through a penchant for violence because of Mongul. Chris just, he just says "this is difficult" without any unique expression as to why. He just says it's hard and reports generic symptoms.

Otho and Osul each got a separate arc btw. Otho got the final PKJ arc with the Blue Earth Movement with Ra's Al Ghul's alternate dimension granddaughter trying to force her further into being a ruthless warrior. Osul got the opening arc on Earth where he had an entire go inside him and Mongul's lackeys were hunting after him.

Chris got.....afaik, individual arc only after his spontaneous age-up. I'm not counting it because atp he's not Clois's kid anymore.

Onto the next point.

Abuse itself is senseless, but we are not dealing with real people here. These are characters, and characters have motives, that's their entire deal. Zod isn't just generically evil, he's like that because he wants Kryptonian supremacy dictated by violence and might. Same goes for Ursa. You cannot just say "these characters are simply evil" because then I can replace Zod and Ursa with two robots if all we need is "generic evil person".

Characters, be they good or bad, stand for something. They have to, otherwise it's just bad writing.

These character motives define actions. So when I say the abuse doesn't make any sense, I'm talking about it in terms of character, and what the writers and creatives intended to tell the audience through these choices. Zod and Ursa arent just inherently cruel, there's a reason for why they're like that. Their families value military might and strategic importance, they consider kryptonians to be superior to humans and shun any intermingling with "lower species". If you paint Zod & Ursa as just "simple evil", then you dismiss the message CLARK is trying to convey by defeating them.

When Clark defeats Zod, it's not just "good guy defeats evil". It's showing that this kind of exceptionalism and what's basically an analogy for racism and colonization, THAT is what is bad. If Ursa and Zod are just evil, it's not about child abuse as a story arc. It's just "child suffers under villain".

If the message was "abuse bad", it was lackluster and stating the obvious. We all KNOW parental abuse is bad. Now what does that mean for Chris Kent? How is he impacted? You can't say Ursa and Zod abused Chris and then not explore such a severe topic. The entire Chris arc in Action Comics fully ignored this aspect until the final 2 issues, and even then it didn't show Chris's turmoil. He had all of 10 lines across the issues dealing with his abuse. There is no exploration, no insight, no genuine engagement by Geoff Johns with the topic of child abuse.

I am saying all this not because I think Ursa and Zod can in any way be justified. I want to reiterate that, nothing will justify what Ursa and Zod did. With that in mind, an explanation for their abuse is NOT a justification.

Abuse and its cruelty makes no sense. But every abuser has an explanation for why the do it (again this is not a justification, this is still bad, explanations don't make a single thing better). The point of a story is to give a believable explanation for the things that happen and Geoff Johns didn't even TRY to explain.

I feel like I grew less and less coherent as the post continued but I hope I got my point across. You are not going to make me enjoy Chris as a character. And in turn I am not going to make you hatete Chris as a character. That's not what I want, I don't care about asserting which character is better. My current favorite is an anime character who showed up for 4 episodes in a 40 episode anime who people say I need to move tf on from. I am doing this not to bash Chris, but to bash Geoff Johns, who failed to deliver a compelling story.

This is again, a criticism of writing. You can love Chris all you want, I just don't think the Chris arc is a well-crafted story, and there aren't enough well-crafted stories of him for me to try to like him.

For Alex, it's pretty easy. So long as you don't immediately do something that raises an alarm in her head, she'll trust you.

Charlie is much more suspicious. They will question everything you do until you've been around long enough that they get used to you. They never fully trust anyone other than their siblings though.

Jackson is right in-between the twins. He's friendly but won't tell you specifics about anything until he gets to know you better.

Sam and Gwen are both fairly trusting people, but they will be keeping an eye on you.

Pamela trusts no one but family. Sorry bro.

6. Do they consider laws flexible or immovable?

They all consider laws flexible no matter the universe.

13. What color do they think they look best in? Do they actually look best in that color?

Alex would say black just cause it's the easiest to match, but she looks wonderful in soft greens.

Charlie would say basically any shade of blue, and they are absolutely correct because they have spent so much time playing with colors.

Jackson would say light pink, and he's right because Charlie helped pick out colors that would suit them.

Sam would say looks best in darker greens, but teal suits him more.

Gwen would say pink, but she looks much better in yellows.

Pamela would probably say light purple and she is correct.

Alex has gone through so many changes lmao. She used to be a shape shifter because I couldn't pick just one look for her, and even now, her hair is still slightly different every time I draw her or make her in something.

Charlie's changed quite a bit too, but now their look is fairly consistent. So long as they've got freckles and short brown hair, we're good.

Jackson has stayed basically the same since he was created. The only difference is that his hair is light pink instead of brown.

Idefk about Sam dude, I don't think he ever really had a look when I first made him. He was just kinda some dude in my brain, y'know?

For Gwen, basically the same as Sam. She was just kinda some lady in my head. She's changed a couple times since I started actually figuring her out though.

Pamela is the only one who stayed exactly the same lol.

F) What do you feel when you think about your OC (pride, excitement, frustration, etc)?

Overall?? Sad but happy. Their story is a sad, but hopeful one.

Alex - Pride. That's my baby girl. She's been through hell, and I'm so happy she makes it through it all (said like I'm not the one writing it lol)

Charlie - Sad. Charlie makes me sad. For so many reasons.

Jackson - Chill. They're just kinda there for the most part, but he does have epic moments.

Sam - Excited. His character has gotten so many upgrades from how he used to he and I love writing his dynamics with his kids now.

Gwen - Depressed. Not elaborating. That's spoilers.

Matteo - He writes his own music and also plays a few instruments! He wanted to go into music production for college, but that never worked out. He also really likes to write - he writes buffy the vampire fics, and many of them are self insert or smutty LMAO. He'd get into x-files too once someone showed it to him :)

Ellis - He does embroidery! His mother taught him and he's really into it. He also watches trashy soap operas - and he draws, but most people don't know it and wont get a chance to see it. He's very good - he would've done something more arts or sports related if his father hadn't pushed him towards being a detective u_u

Blake - He cooks (if you consider his chefly abominations cooking). He doodles. He games like a gamer. He causes fights on purpose. But more than anything. He likes to take pictures :)

Okay this is a fun question bc I drop the Matteo lore every chance I get bc its so funny to me. Ferret inspired little man. But the truth is, the others...all came about because the world Matteo resides in, needed them?

LIKE GFJKSHGFL He is the sun around which the ocs I have created rotate even if they don't really ever interact, bc through him I start thinking about gaps in the world or things that would be fun to add. He's the filter and everyone who appears is condensed little nuggets of an idea.

Vance exists because he needed a Boss. In needing a Boss, Vance's storyline also very nicely added up to being a catalist.

Julia exists because the plot needed a hook. Because of that, she's developed into something more, and my wife and I are actually in the middle of reworking her purpose to better fit agency into her whole situation.

Others came about for similar reasons - what is this story missing, and who can I fit into it to help fill it out?

From there idk. I just take elements that feel like the right "vibe" from the mental library in my brain and fiddle with it until it looks/feels right....it's not often a very directly-inspired-take??? Moreso I'm not often entirely aware of the influences going into the oc, bc I do it based on vibes KJKJGHSLKDJF

Okay so

Cosmos and Noa reunite and actually become close (Cosmos is aware of Lucifer's regrets regarding Belial, so she's happy to try having a brother)

She gets on well with Rackam, Noa is a doting uncle to Yuni. Zooey is too independent to really need them much, but she likes having a family unit, like skydwellers and often joins them to spend time together. Geo is a whole other can of worms, but I believe his mom can talk some sense into him. He's a teenager going through his rebellious phase

Cosmos also befriends Sandalphon, who's a bit on edge around her at first, but they bond over their shared love and appreciation of Lucifer. Cosmos assures Sandalphon that yes, he definitely loved you and missed you every day and it's bittersweet for Sandy.

Then they bring Lucifer back, because obviously, leave me alone I'm writing fanfiction here, and then Cosmos and Noa, a working pair of primal sibs, decide to help Lucifer and drag Belial back kicking and screaming so the twins who used to be so painfully close before growing apart can reconnect with help from the siblings who never knew about each other but became close after finding out about each other, despite their differences

Listen, they're foils, it's perfect. Both separated by their creator, but Cosmos and Noa overcame their creator as well as their differences and help the twins bridge the rift formed by their creator as well

I love it so much. I love the intra dynamic of the Cosmos-side of things, of them just trying to make things work because they're been through enough now, might as well make something out of it now.

And since Cosmos befriended Sandalphon before bringing Lucifer's back, a part of her sees Sandalphon as family yaknow? Lucifer was her closest friend after all and he's a bit of Yuni's co parent (platonically), so Sandalphon being his widower, it's a connection Cosmos doesn't want to let go of.

so when they bring Lucifer back the two sides are strong together, and then adding Belial is really just, the whole Cosmos clan working together to help Lucifer through it because god knows otherwise it'll be complicated.

"that ship has sailed :)" Noa tells Belial when he keeps fighting against it, because he's soooo clever about it.

And with Cosmos' side of the family helping, and Geo being a rebellious teenager but making some efforts now that mom is back in the picture.....

Belial and Geo could bond together. Because the two of them would constantly try to avoid their siblings trying to rehabilitate them, too perfect, too nice, too sweet, and they're both so peeved about all of this. and beside their primal cynism would make them get along like house on fire.

The rest of the gang end up thinking they should probably separate them -- but instead they realize that bitching with each other actually give them an outlet and they don't cause active trouble or don't fight with others people anymore.

see it like Geo being the quiet, rebellious teen who fucking hates his family, and Belial being the rebellious uncle who only comes back to tear the family apart, but somehow, because of that, Geo comes talk to him at family gathering, and they're too busy bouncing off from each other to cause drama and instead it makes them interreact more with the family because they're in it together.

Those two families are linked together by Cosmos and Lucifer being besties, but somehow it makes everything work out for everyone involved.
