I won't name it but I feel tricked by a fanfic I read and want my kudos back lol

so my policy when it comes to reading fanfic is 99% of the time waiting for the story to be complete before leaving kudos. that’s just me after years of being heartbroken by abandoned fics. but also was everything tagged properly?

as a fic writer, it would also make me sad if people took their kudos back. we have our own vision for things and I try to give as much as I can in the tags and warnings.

if i wrote out every fic idea i've ever had, i'd have thousands of them. this is sort of my space to yap about them so if i say "i got an idea" it's "here's the idea, humor me if you wish" because writing is hard truthfully and it's energy sapping at times. part of the reason i do it is to just get it off my chest. but ehhh, i like doing it.

while it's not all positive, i don't think i ever actually thought my fics would get the attention that they did (i used to write before but the attention i've gotten in this fandom? never imagined) so i really thank you and i am working hard to be a little more disciplined with updates so that i can finish fics faster.

being mean doesn't work on me. if you're mean to me, i'm less likely to update your favorite fic. i write based on what i'm motivated to write and if you're gonna be an asshole, i'm going to think about that when i write and then i won't wanna write at all. just saying.
