✦ Women's Hygiene Tips
▪ Thoroughly dry key areas Dry areas like the intimate region, armpits, and feet completely after showering to prevent bacteria and odour caused by trapped moisture.
▪ Apply deodorant at night It allows sweat glands to absorb the product more effectively when they’re less active, making it last longer.
▪ Moisturise after a shower Moisturise immediately after showering while the skin is damp to lock in hydration and keep the skin soft.
▪ Apply body oil after moisturizing Layering body oil over moisturizer seals in hydration and gives the skin a healthy, glowing appearance.
▪ Layer perfume and mist on damp skin Helps the scent adhere better and last throughout the day.
▪ Avoid scented products for intimate areas Scented products can disrupt the natural pH balance, leading to irritation or infections, so opt for plant-based, fragrance-free washes.
▪ Use a dedicated razor for intimate areas A specialised razor designed for sensitive areas gives a smoother shave with fewer ingrown hairs or irritation.
▪ Apply oil after shaving Using oil post-shave hydrates the skin, prevents ingrown hairs, and reduces dark spots or hyperpigmentation.
▪ Carry baby wipes during menstruation Baby wipes are essential for freshening up during periods, especially when access to water is limited, ensuring better hygiene.
▪ Incorporate dry brushing Dry brushing exfoliates dead skin, improves circulation, and leaves the skin baby-soft and radiant. Do not dry brush your skin if you have eczema, psoriasis, or rosacea or any skin condition similar.
▪ Always shampoo your hair twice The first shampoo removes surface oils and build-up, while the second deep-cleans the scalp and hair for optimal cleanliness.
▪ Use unscented soap with a washcloth Unscented soap paired with a washcloth or sponge provides a gentle but thorough cleanse, avoiding irritation from harsh chemicals.
▪ Include glycolic acid in skincare Glycolic acid exfoliates and removes dead skin cells, reducing body odour by keeping pores clean and clear.
▪ Don’t rinse out toothpaste completely Retain some fluoride by avoiding a full rinse after brushing to strengthen enamel and protect teeth longer.

i was saving up for a tattoo but ur answer to that ask where u mention the stuff that goes into ink made me go down a rabbit hole and now i think i wont be getting a tattoo until ink is regulated... aside from the ink being full of stuff i know im allergic to my family is very cancer prone and im reading that tattoo ink may have a correlation with increased skin cancer risk. i feel like this should be talked about more. feeling sad about it but im glad u mentioned something about it otherwise i wouldnt have known
Yeah, as someone who's allergic to everything, has eczema, and a family history of cancer, I feel that. If you have a good artist whom is open to using inks that are either carcinogen-free or at least better tolerated it's not the end of the world, and I never want to discourage someone from doing something they want to do, especially art-related! That being said, I had some similar asks so I'm gonna use yours as a quick info-dump, so I apologize in advance!
I do want to be VERY clear: this is NOT a 'tattoos bad' wall of text, it's a 'art good but hold businesses and individuals accountable because right now everything is a trust system' wall of text. Everyone I know and love has tattoos, I just happen to be an artist who was pulled into the industry fairly out-of-the-blue 8 years ago, and have gotten to learn the intimate ins-and-outs of it because of that. This isn't ragebait, and it is strictly my reasons as to why I feel that the industry could benefit from some regulation and standardized education now that it is a very, very mainstream industry that the majority of individuals in my age range engage with but aren't privy to the details on. If you love tattoos, great! If you don't love tattoos, great! If you're an experienced professional in the industry, this is all stuff you've probably bounced off of once or twice, and can understand why it's frustrating.
The tattoo industry sorta has had one foot in the super lax, counterculture boat while also having the other one solidly in the corporate, capitalist yacht. While the studies that come out of the industry relating cancer risk to the ink content always stick strictly to skin cancer risk being 'negligible', it's important to note that the ink isn't going into your skin - it's going into the fatty tissue below the skin. The ink breaks down in that tissue over time, and gets filtered out by your body - the contents of the ink aren't on the top of the skin, they're being filtered through your other organs or pushed up to your skin. (I know this is an ultra-super-simplified version of what happens, but I don't want to give everyone a migraine with details.) I work with a ton of inks, paints, and pigments, and the pigments that are used in some inks aren't stuff I'd willingly handle with my bare hands, but I'm paranoid about that stuff. However,I absolutely wouldn't eat any of the pigments that are used in the creation of the ink used for tattoos, and none of it is stuff that I'd want in my liver or kidneys. I have a parent who's had cancer for 10+ years, so it's a pet topic of mine that I've had the opportunity to discuss with professionals whom work in the industry. The few times I've gotten to chat about inks used in tattoos, the response is the same as the public PR team's response. The standard on-record response is to cite skin cancer risks, and when asked about other types of cancer, specifically liver/kidney/reproductive, often it is deflected to some version of 'our customers are risk takers who live life on the edge, and don't conform to societal norms, and that demographic always has a higher rate of cancer.' The reality is that they intentionally don't test for that, because best case is the optics that they were selling something that they weren't that confident in, and the worst case response is a wall of lawsuits. Obviously, all that sounds ominous and shit, and while I doubt there's anything massive hidden there, my problem is that the corporate side regulates itself, which in the history of everything has never ended in ethical decisions and only ones that increase profit margins. When pressured, however, companies will lean into the 'it's tattoos man, don't be a downer' - but these are large, industrial corporations, not the dude down the street making art out of their garage. They have the money to test their own products and choose not to.
The other half of the problem is that foot in the pseudo-counterculture, lax, independent artist culture. There's no barriers to entry, minimal qualifications required, and so you can have people who have no business putting permanent ink on folks doing just that, en masse. Tattoos became a major fashion thing in the last 10 years, so we saw an explosion of tattoo studios with literally no experience in the industry kicking out tattoos. These same folks don't have experience in the arts (in a lot of cases) so they'll lift someone else's work as theirs to get a sale, which leads to someone having a design that may be associated with a group they do not wish to be associated with (IE: ultra-nationalist found out that his reaper design was from some ACAB shit I made, and he was not thrilled, even though I thought it was hilarious.) Additionally, a lot of the more questionable studios engage in super controversial sales tactics pressuring clients to move forward on projects when they aren't 100% comfortable (ie: you don't get to see the tattoo until you're in the chair, strictly to save time as to maximize profit on a permanent work of art, and to avoid your client changing their mind.) Back when I was starting out, a lot of the freelance work I received was coming up with designs to help fix those botched jobs, while sending folks to a credible artist, so I had the unfortunate experience of hearing every nightmare story ever. However, like any market that was opening up to big mainstream cashflow, the market ended up flooded so the skill of the average tattoo artist fell like a brick. Only in the last 6 months has the bubble popped with a ton of studios have had trouble staying afloat because the industry reached critical mass. I literally have more options in tattoo studio within a 10 block radius than grocery stores. Mind you, I'm talking about the large group of studios that engage with these practices, and that does in no way mean that I am specifically talking about your studio or your artist. If you work in the industry, you know the folks I'm talking about, and I'm so sorry they make your job so much harder.
This all comes together into a major shitstorm: under-qualified individuals offering a subpar product driving down prices, shoving out the actual qualified professionals, while operating in a legal gray area. Combined with the industrial ink companies that aren't keen on giving straight answers about the contents of their product leaves the entire industry in an absolutely dogwater spot, getting the worst of both worlds. This is not touching on the disgusting potential abuse of power that some individuals choose to take advantage of within these situations. With literally any small amount of regulation, the entire art form would be infinitely easier to get for individuals without having to do a background check on the entire operation. I hope that answers some questions, and I apologize for any typos in my incomprehensible wall of text!

Hugging Dethklok Hcs
depending on how im feeling after posting this i think i might make a second part including side characters (likely the second post will contain charles abigail and knubbler !! and maybe even some smaller characters that i feel deserve more love) anyways uhuhuh first official MTL post except it.. actually isnt, ive written for knubbler and the dethklok minute host before so yeah very nervous about this since im still trying to find my footing in how i wanna write the characters, so heads up that this might be VERY OOC and what better prompt to do than do one of my "i dont know what to write" ones written with reader as their partner vague mentions of like. sexual stuff but nothing explicit, i still wish to keep this blog as sfw as possible, really just implications of it than anything also some characters had bonus hcs of cuddling so uhuhuh
NATHAN:
built like a mattress, though that can mean anything since not all mattresses are made the same... hmm.. have you ever hugged/cuddled one of those tiny headed kingdom plushies? very firm but not comfortable, i think thats what nathan feels like, but perhaps just a smidge softer. but how would nathan feel? i mean hes very protective of you, and being able to hold you gives him a moment to keep you close. not very affectionate otherwise, but this is nice. definitely the type to do hugs from behind, especially if theres someone trying to flirt with you
PICKLES:
short so theres a good chance youre around his height if not taller and he may or may not feel things about that (both negative and positive but lets save that for another post as i fully intend on keeping this sfw), i always thought pickles of being physically affectionate so him having a hand on you is a common occurrence. probably takes the opportunity to whisper something in your ear, usually something dirty or something incoherent with him being drunk or otherwise under the influence. oh yeah i can easily see him being the type to swing his limbs over his partner while he sleeps and trapping them there
SKWISGAAR:
maybe im cooking something doodoo, but i feel like skwisgaar may or may not struggle with non-sexual stuff, like being purely romantic and innocent with no intent to get your pants off is foreign to him. i whole heartedly believe the reason hes so sexual is due to being in dethklok and being huge, but also because of his mother constantly bringing new people home. so in the beginning he might actually be tense in giving you affection, definitely going to need to take some time. very cold, skinny people tend to be colder ive noticed so totally you shouldnt take this as an excuse to hold him closer (winks)... i DO think he would also have a hand on you a lot of the time like pickles, whether or not those hands have other motives is up in the air
MURDERFACE:
make him take a shower first/j
okay jokes aside, this man is so starved for attention and affection, but he would never ever EVER say it. you guys could be 100% fully alone in bum fuck no where and he still wouldnt say it. but its definitely there in his actions and body language. i think hes warm, and his skin is a little... i mean he canonically has dry skin with eczema, and while i dont have eczema i know what having that dry scaly skin feels like... perhaps we could tie in some self care with the reader helping murderface take better care of himself? i mean it would be one hell of a fight to get him to try but i think its do-able.. tight hugger, kind of lets his arms linger before sliding them down when you eventually pull away. wish i had more but i think murderface is the type to deny affection whilst also deeply craving it
TOKI:
probably the easiest to hug in terms of getting him to accept it, actually i think he might be the most likely to initiate one alongside pickles. very warm, though he sometimes hugs you a little too tight and might even tug you back in if you try to pull away before hes ready. full body cuddles into you when you guys sleep/nap together, arms and legs keep you in place so... good luck trying to slip away before he wakes up. i like to think he fiddles with your hair, too, though im unsure if that fits with his character... i think that, despite still having a love for all things brutal he still likes these smaller moments of just. affection. very clingy and possessive though so keep that in mind, i think he would hold you and physically try to pull you away if someone tries to flirt with you; a lot less subtle than when nathan does it

shiggy headcanons: eczema edition ⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡
from a person with eczema who felt very seen ily tenko shimura you’re my real one
also if you don’t know what eczema is it’s a skin condition that makes your skin hella dried out all the time it doesn’t retain its moisture and with dry skin comes an itchy hell *scratches neck cutely*
◦ he smells musty and stinks, dabi’s smoke and his dust from decay make him smell ashy and smokey, like cigarette butts
◦ he doesn’t smile or make lots of expressions because it makes his dry ass skin crack and it hurts to do it
◦ he scratches his hands and fingers a lot especially when he’s playing games
◦ spinner notices shiggy scratching his hands during games and tries to minimize it by distracting him and shoving him lightly when he sees him reaching to itch
◦ spinner gifted him a small container of lotion that he saw in an abandoned store and shiggy uses it all up on his hands (he’s too afraid to try on his face because it burned the first time he tested on his cheek) when he runs out he’s too prideful to ask spinner if he has more and tries looking for the same brand in other stores
◦ he has bad dandruff and his scalp is full of bleeding and cracked skin and he tried to be funny once by ruffling his hair and saying ‘hey it’s the first snow’ (only twice was like ‘oi shigaraki that’s pretty funny’ then his other side said ‘ew that was gross’ and shiggy never tried it again. everyone else was dumbfounded and silent)
◦ the league doesn’t have easy access to showering and normal hygiene practices but shiggy would avoid showering and washing his hands anyways because it burns his skin
◦ toga made him wash his hands once and used hot water and it felt so good but after he dried his hands his skin felt 10x worse so he avoids water
◦ hates winter because it dries out his skin and hates summer because it makes him sweaty and more prone to itching and it irritates his skin
◦ toga tried to get him skincare products before but they burned him on the first use and he never tried again
◦ picks his dead skin (lips and hangnails around fingers) and eats it
◦ chews his nails and eats the dirt (guilty pleasure)
◦ actually hates having long nails because the itching is worse with them but he doesn’t have nail clippers available
◦ rubs at his dead skin absentmindedly because it feels satisfying
◦ when he was younger and his dead skin flaked onto mon chan’s fur, he would gently brush it off and try to avoid getting it on mon chan
◦ scratched off his eyebrows because the itching was so bad
◦ sometimes wished dabi had ice instead to numb his skin
◦ has had the urge multiple times to ask dabi to burn all his skin off during particularly bad eczema episodes
◦ he always wakes up with skin flakes all over his pillow and has to flip it over to the other side everyday (someone get him clean sheets pls)
◦ has trouble sleeping because his itching keeps him up
◦ dabi notices him itching himself in his sleep because it’s loud as hell and shoves him to make him stop (not out of the goodness of his heart it’s because the noise is annoying as fuck) (it helps a little anyways)
◦ desperately wants to buy skins for his lol main but doesn’t have a credit card to pay for it (he steals from someone off the street and puts them in generational debt with transactions from lol)
◦ scratches his neck furiously when he loses a game and can’t stop
◦ when he gets super regeneration it nullifies his eczema and gives him relief but erasure taking away regeneration also takes away the relief of not having irritated itchy skin so that’s why he gets extra pissed at aizawa and holds a grudge (so cool eraser!)
◦ the reason he gets mad easily is because his skin being itchy all the time makes him super irritable
◦ when he reawakens in the new body he feels more level headed and in control and he doesn’t have to worry about his skin, loves being able to show off his new body that’s not riddled with scratches and cracked skin

Medicinal Remedies
Medicinal Remedies-- This is a LONG one!
NOTE: This article is about 20 of my favorite medicinal healing herbs to grow in most garden areas and types of soil. There are 100’s more, though, that I just couldn’t include because of space. Enjoy this rundown of 20 of my favorites.
1) Calendula:
Calendula is one of my top five favorite herbs of all time. It's sunny yellow or orange face can't help but make me smile. In summer time, it grows like crazy, just about anywhere, and like other flowers, the bees love it.
Calendula has some super skin healing and strengthening properties, and I always have some infusing in olive oil in a sunny window for use in salves, soaps, and other body products.
Calendula is also edible, and it's so fun to toss some blooms in your salad! It really brightens things up and adds excellent color. I love Calendula.
Calendula just makes you smile.
2) Cayenne:
Here is another herb I think should be in every garden. Cayenne is a very hot and pretty red pepper with some excellent culinary uses for adding spice to foods.
It's also great for helping with circulatory problems, can be used to help stop bleeding since it's a hemostatic herb, and has been shown to be useful in helping slow or even stop a heart attack until help can arrive.
It's also a very attractive plant, and the bright red of the pepper is just gorgeous mixed Into the dark green of the plant's leaves. This is one herb you should definitely grow if you can, and have handy in your herbal medicine chest.
Cayenne grows like crazy, especially in warmer climates. They dry well, too.
3) Chamomile:
Like Lavender, what would an herbal garden be without sweet Chamomile? It's honey scent and sweet taste are an absolute pleasure. Besides that....Chamomile is a popular relaxant and mild sedative herb.
Need to de-stress? Drink a bit of Chamomile tea!
Chamomile is also useful as an anti-inflammatory, as it contains high levels of azulene. It helps with pain relief, including for arthritis. If you are heading to bed and are bothered by mild pain, try drinking some chamomile tea! In one clinical study, this helped 10 out of 12 people fall into a restful sleep. (Gladstar)
Growing Chamomile can be tricky in very hot climates. It likes full sun, but a cooler climate. Chamomile is also best grown in less maintained soil and doesn't need the rich fertilization other plants require.
4) Chickweed:
Chickweed is another one of those "weeds" that is completely misunderstood and has some excellent medicinal qualities.
It's Latin name, (stellaria) means "star," and that is because of its small, pretty starlike white flowers. It's easy to grow, and has many uses.
Chickweed supports liver and kidney health due to its high nutrition and diuretic properties. It's also wonderful in salves for healing skin issues, including rashes, eczema, and very dry skin.
Chickweed is a great diuretic and blood purifier.
5) Dandelion:
This prolific weed, as some people see when they notice Dandelion in their yard, is actually a powerfully helpful medicinal herb! Dandelion is terrific for your liver and kidney health, having diuretic properties.
It's also an edible plant! You can roast the roots and add it to teas and even your coffee for a delicious flavor that also packs a healthy punch. The leaves can be eaten in salads and other foods.
6) Feverfew:
Feverfew has lovely white flowers and at least where I live, is rather invasive. I don't mind, though, because it has a great number of medicinal benefits.
As its name connotes, feverfew is helpful with reducing fevers. Most recently, however, feverfew has become rather well-known for helping with migraines, both preventing and reducing the intensity and time.
One of my favorite teas to provide for people who suffer from migraines is: 1 part feverfew, 1 part spearmint, and 1 part lemon balm. This is a soothing, nervine combination, that along with the powers of feverfew, can be used as daily tonic.
Feverfew is also great for minor bug bites. Just apply the tincture topically. Since it has mild pain relieving properties, it will help with the discomfort too.
7) Garlic:
Garlic is one of the BEST all around medicinal herbs anyone can grow, in my opinion. It's useful for treating colds, flus, sore throats, and digestive issues. Garlic boosts the immune system by increasing and stimulating the production of white blood cells.
Garlic is antiseptic, anti-bacterial, and vermifuge (kills parasites). It is also useful as a blood purifier and helps promote healthy circulation. It may also help regulate blood sugar levels in those with type 2 diabetes.
Besides all these wonderful benefits, garlic is delicious! It's added to so many foods and dishes because of the flavor it imparts. Granted, using garlic medicinally is different than in culinary uses, but if you really want to "eat thy medicine," as Hippocrates famously stated, garlic is a great place to start.
8) Ginger:
Oh, what would the herb world be without Ginger? This sweet and spicy pungent herb is actually a rhizome, not a root, as many believe. The useful part grows under ground, so is often confused.
Ginger is stimulating and is a great additive for teas, tinctures, and fermented foods, as well as culinary uses. Ginger is anti-inflammatory, decongesting, and increases circulation, promoting warmth. Ginger is also excellent for flatulence and stomach issues, including nausea.
Ginger likes a tropical environment---hot and humid. Therefore, unless you live down South, Ginger would most likely need to be grown in a green house.
9) Lavender:
What would the herbal world be without lavender? It's good for SO many things. Lavender smells wonderful, the bees love it, it's great for medicinal uses, AND it's a gorgeous flower. Lavender is useful for air freshening and cleaning the air or freshening closed up places such as drawers. It's popular in sachets for this reason.
Lavender is actually relatively hardy, growing well in Zones 5 through 8. If you are in a colder zone, be sure to plant your lavender in an area where it will get plenty of sunshine and be as warm as possible. If your winters are rough, you'll need to provide your lavender with some type of protection, especially from harsh winds.
I had some planted in pots here in the mountains, and it did very well all summer long. Even through snows, it was fine. But we get wind speeds over 125 miles an hour at times, and lavender just didn't last through that. Not much will, I guess.
Lavender is useful for so many things---AND it smells incredible.
10) Lemon Balm:
Lemon Balm....I LOVE this species of mint. It smells lovely, the bees love it, and it grows well nearly everywhere. Lemon Balm has a pleasant lemony taste and is a great additive in herbal teas, both for the nutritive value as well as the soothing nature and relaxing effects it has on the body.
11) Marshmallow:
This probably isn't included in too many herbalist's garden lists, but I think Marshmallow is seriously necessary. It's a demulcent and soothing herb, and it complements "hotter" herbs very well. It also soothes inflammation in mucous membranes and is one of my favorite herbs to use for allergy blends or teas for any kind of inflammation in the body for this reason.
Marshmallow is an upright plant, similar to a very small hollyhock. In fact, if you can grow hollyhocks where you are---you can use it pretty much interchangeably with Marshmallow as their chemical constituents are very similar.
The flowers are light pink and very pretty, too. The entire plant is edible and useful for medicinal purposes. Go ahead and throw a few flowers into your salad for a beautiful and surprising presentation!
Marshmallow is a demulcent anti-inflammatory. Plus, it's pretty.
12) Mullein:
This is yet another plant many see as just a weed, but has some truly wonderful medicinal qualities. Mullein is a plant that grows from a rosette of fuzzy large leaves into a tall stalk (sometimes as high as 7 feet tall) and is covered with yellow flowers in mid-summer.
Mullein does best in full sun, with lots of water, in cooler areas. It grows really well in the creek beds up here in our mountains, but I've heard it is very common in almost all places. It's worth trying to cultivate, in my opinion, if you don't have it growing naturally in your area.
Mullein is one of the best herbs you can use to support and heal the respiratory system and illnesses that affect the lungs, sinuses, and breathing. It's useful as a tea, tincture, and the large leaves can be used in an emergency to cover a poultice.
In my opinion, Mullein is the premier herb for respiratory issues.
13) Oregano
Oregano seems to be the bane of many gardener's existence. They plant it, and it just goes crazy. I can't tell you how many neighbors, family members, and friends have given me Oregano from their yards over the years! And I'm glad to have it! The thing with Oregano is you have to know how to manage it.
Oregano is a fabulous culinary herb, and if you have ever had pizza or marinara sauce, then you've tasted this delicious Mediterranean herb. Oregano grows best in warm, dry climates, but I have found in my experience that it is quite hardy and can survive winter lows in the single digits (at least it does in my yard).
Oregano (also known as Mountain of Joy in Greek) has some excellent medicinal uses, including having anti-viral, anti-biotic, anti-fungal properties, as well as being very high in anti-oxidants. It's a great skin care herb and also a digestive aid.
Oregano can be used in many forms, too: As a tincture, an herbal infused oil, eaten in foods, and as an essential oil. These all have different strengths, potencies, and uses.
The tincture is an easy way to use the herb medicinally, along with making or using in an herbal tea.
14) Peppermint:
Super easy to grow just about anywhere, Peppermint is a spreading perennial that has the propensity to take over your garden if you allow it! It's spicy, pungent scent is well known to just about everyone, since it's a popular culinary additive in many foods and candies.
Medicinally, Peppermint is useful for aiding digestion and getting rid of flatulence (gas). It has mild anti-spasmodic properties, so if you are experiencing cramps, especially digestive types or menstrual cramps, it can be very helpful.
15) Plantain:
Here is another weed that many people find repugnant, but that is actually an incredibly useful medicinal herb!
According to Rosemary Gladstar, Plantain grows everywhere, and if you invite it in, it will definitely show up.
Plantain is great for liver health, detoxifying and cleansing the blood, and drawing out toxins. I like to infuse it in oil for use in healing salves.
Like Dandelion, this easy to find weed is edible and useful.
16) Rosemary:
Rosemary is a famous culinary herb, and is great for use on red meats and very pungent dishes. Besides this, rosemary has been proven to be helpful for the brain, especially memory functions.
It's high in anti-oxidants, and has mild analgesic (pain relief) properties. Rosemary is a stimulant herb, and is helpful with circulation and low blood pressure. People with high blood pressure need to exercise caution using rosemary medicinally.
Rosemary grows best in hot, dry climates and is native to the Southern European countries.
Besides being a pungent and delicious culinary herb, rosemary provides medicinal qualities and enhances memory.
17) St. John's Wort:
St. John's Wort is a misunderstood plant, in my opinion. It went through a popular phase a few years ago and was touted as being the new natural anti-depressant. St. John's Wort can absolutely help with feelings of mild depression, sadness, grief, and Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), but it's not a cure-all.
Important to know---St. John's Wort can interact with certain drugs, so be sure you discuss usage with your doctor (as you should with any of these herbs mentioned).
St. John's Wort is also great for neuralgia, and I personally use it as part of my back pain and sciatica regimen with excellent results. I also use it in a tincture form to lift my spirits if I'm feeling down.
Besides all the medicinal qualities of St. John's Wort, it's a really pretty plant. You won't be able to grow it in a super hot area, however, at least it's unlikely. I tried growing it in Las Vegas, and it was a total fail. However, it does well here in the mountains in full sun or partial shade and the cooler climate.
One of my favorite ways to prepare St. John's Wort is as an herbal infused oil. The medicinal species (H. perforatum) releases bright red juices into the oil, creating the most lovely infused oil.
Another safety note for the garden: St. John's Wort has been shown to have potential for phototoxicity, especially in grazing animals if they eat too much. Just be aware and watch what your pastured animals eat.
St. John's Wort is a wonderful healing herb that positively affects the emotions.
18) Thyme:
Thyme, in my opinion, is one of the best plants to use in your garden. It attracts bees, smells lovely, and is incredibly useful for medicinal purposes. It's a small, spreading herb (although some species will grow upright) that is fairly hardy, so if you have rough winters, it may do just fine---you'll be seeing it again in the Spring, with it's pretty scented purple flowers.
Many herbalists forget all about using thyme as a preventative medicinal herb or for helping heal quickly from colds and flus---but it has been shown to fight off colds.
It also has disinfectant properties, and can be used as an effective wash for skin infections or as great sore throat rinse. For medicinal purposes, Thymus vulgaris or Thymus citriodorus (Lemon Thyme) are the best to use.
19) Valerian:
This stately flowering plant can grow to about four feet tall and has lacy white flower clusters. Not only is it a lovely addition to your garden, but it is very useful. It's a strong but safe sedative and is very useful for helping with anxious feelings, sleep issues, and pain relief.
Contraindications: Valerian has the opposite effect on some people, so if you are using it for the first time, do so on a the eve of a day that won't affect you much. These folks are rare, but there are definitely some that don't tolerate it well.
One of nature's best gifts---Valerian is lovely and it is an excellent safe sedative.
20) Yarrow:
Yarrow has many tiny flowers that grow in bunches, and feathery grayish leaves. It's a very pretty plant for your garden. Besides, the parts that grow above ground (leaves, stems, flowers) have medicinal purposes and have been used for thousands of years.
Yarrow is a vulnerary, hemostatic herb. Besides helping with healing and clotting of wounds, yarrow is good for helping reduce fevers, hay fever, and fighting colds. As a fever reducer, it is important to note that yarrow induces sweating, so if the person already has a hot fever, yarrow is probably not the best choice to use.

“Gel manicures are now the most popular beauty treatment in the UK, according to the online booking system Treatwell. Salon chains say that between 70 per cent and 90 per cent of their manicures now involve gels rather than traditional kinds of nail lacquer or false acrylic nails.
Yet dermatologists say they are seeing an “epidemic” of bad reactions to gel. Women have reported nail lifting, brittleness and splitting as well as swollen fingers and infections.
Some people have also suffered eczema, rashes and swelling to the face and body related to using nail gels.”

As a nail technician, Kirsty Connor had a gel manicure every fortnight — and provided the beauty treatment for about 20 others on any given week.
After years of using gel-based polish, however, she noticed that her nails were lifting away and her fingers were itching.
Later, mini blisters appeared on her hands. Her arms and eyes began to swell. When she struggled to breathe, she called an ambulance.
In A&E, Connor, 31, was told that — like many other women seen by emergency staff — she had developed an allergic reaction to the substances commonly found in gel polishes, which help the colour to harden under an ultraviolet lamp.
Gel manicures are now the most popular beauty treatment in the UK, according to the online booking system Treatwell.
Some people have also suffered eczema, rashes and swelling to the face and body related to using nail gels.
After her severe allergic reaction several years ago, Connor, from Beckenham, southeast London, threw away the collection of 300 gel polishes which she had built up over ten years. She now works with natural, non-toxic polishes.
“The doctors at the hospital said it was quite a common problem. I had been using the big high street brands for years and I had never heard of it so I want to raise awareness,” she said.
Gel polishes typically contain methacrylate chemicals, which can be an irritant and cause allergies. The more often people have gel manicures, the higher the chance they will have a bad reaction or even develop a lifelong allergy.
The chemicals enter the skin when the ultraviolet lamps used to harden each layer of gel are not used for long enough or the equipment is poorly maintained. If the gel is not sufficiently “cured” a reaction to the chemicals can occur on the skin around the nails. Simply brushing your nails against your arms or touching your face can produce symptoms in those areas.
Dr Justine Hextall, a consultant dermatologist and fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, said: “The problem is artificial nails and gel manicures have become the norm. People think of these as a basic requirement for grooming, like brushing your hair, when actually nails aren’t built to sustain this much trauma.
“One of the first questions I ask when I see a patient with facial eczema, especially around the eyes, is whether they get their nails done, if they have gel polish and when they last had them done. We’re always touching our faces, so reaction often shows up here.”
The British Association of Dermatologists said allergies and irritation to the nails is “very likely when people apply a product themselves, or if insufficient training has been given to the nail technician”.
Customers are often unaware that their polish has not been applied correctly while those who buy home kits can fail to follow instructions.
Dr Deirdre Buckley, a consultant dermatologist in Bath, said she believes thousands of women around the country could be suffering with nail polish-related allergies.
She recently saw three women in one day with skin problems, all of which could be linked back to their manicures.
Buckley co-authored a 2018 report by the British Association of Dermatologists which warned that gel polish was causing a “contact allergy epidemic” in the UK.
Since then, she said, the condition has become even more prevalent.
In the past five years, 3.5 per cent of her dermatology patients have tested positive for an allergy to methacrylates. The allergy is almost always due to gel polishes, she said.
“It is so common now that we can usually tell what the problem is when a patient walks into the clinic”, Buckley said.
“I see people with a sort of stripy rash on their cheeks and neck or eyelid swelling because of their fingernails touching their face. They will often have thought very very hard about what could be causing it — their cosmetics, their workplace — but not their nails.”
Traumatic onychoschisis, when the nail starts to detach from the nail bed, is one of the more serious related conditions.
Julia Diogo, a London-based manicurist who specialises in natural nail health and gel nails, and whose clients have included the model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, said she had suffered from the condition herself. She has also worked with women who had previous allergic reactions.
Explaining the right way to carry out a manicure, she said: “Each gel polish brand has an exact curing time which should be adhered to; these are often 30 seconds, 60 seconds or 90 seconds. If you are curing a 90-second gel at 30 seconds this is going to cause either an allergic reaction and/or infection. The top layer may seem dry; however, the middle of that gel will still be wet or tacky, meaning it hasn’t been cured correctly.”
Anyone going for a gel manicure should check that their hands are not removed from the salon lamp before the timer has finished its countdown, she said.
Lamps should be tested regularly, and should be the same brand as the polish because they are designed to cure a specific gel.
There is no single qualification required to be a nail technician but professionals often have either a diploma in manicures, which can take as little as three days, or a beauty apprenticeship.
Some will have a BTec or NVQ in beauty. Nail technicians should ideally have also studied for a certificate with the brand of gel they are using, such as OPI or Shellac, which would tell them how to apply that particular formula.

Periods? A Bloody Waste of Time 🩸
I'm entirely convinced at this point that anything that they tell us (women) is normal is actually bad for us. While pregnancy from male insemination can be avoided, periods are a different matter. I am certain that they are not meant to be painful at all, nor are we meant to bleed so heavily. If a period is (as some claim) truly the removal of toxins and other fluids, are we not going to analyze what the heck is intoxicating us to begin with?
dailymotion
I saw this documentary a while ago called "Red Moon: Menstruation, Culture, and the Politics of Gender" were several women were discussing the stigmatization of periods. I don't remember which part it was exactly, but they were mentioning how painful periods were an energy thing. For some women, especially those who have suffered from abuse in their past, something may energetically be going on with each monthly release. I think it even goes beyond that.
This world's version of normal seems to be in praise of degeneracy at every corner of life. Pregnancy is normal, yet many women die from it or leave with life long scars (physically and emotionally). Intercourse (which seems to skirt itself alongside pure violence) is normal, yet many women leave with disease or some form of mental disorder. Periods are normal, but many women suffer monthly from it to the point where they can become immobile for a day or two. It seems that just as man has intoxicated nature, he has intoxicated the women as well. Expertly so. Now women have convinced themselves and others that pain and suffering is normal. I found this document online discussing some doctors who observed the difference between the western women and who they called "primitive" women. The western women were described as having highly acidic bodies, whilst the other group of women had alkaline bodies.
During the study, the women who consumed more animal products were more susceptible to bleeding heavier and for a longer period during their menstrual. With the alkaline women who consumed more plant based foods, the menstruation almost ceased to exist.
Modern doctors will claim that the absence of a period is signs of a terrible condition. They'll even suggest that an eating disorder it at play. It's interesting they'll say that losing your periods is unnatural, but popping a pill full of foreign chemicals to "regulate" it is totally not cause for future concerns. Speaking of eating disorders—from a western perspective—arguably many people already have eating disorders. We eat until our bellies our stretched beyond normal, and we consume foods that are lifeless and will end up rotting in our stomachs. I do believe that an aspect of periods is normal, given their spiritual nature. In ancient times, they hinted at a connection between the cycles of the moon. This was when women could be most in tune with their bodies and souls, perhaps harnessing spirtual powers that may have been dulled any other time. Now, women are lying in bed curdling in pain during that time of the month. Not much can be done productively. Of course, not all women have this problem, but plenty do.
This is just some speculation though. For me personally, omitting meat and other animal products from my diet has changed the way I think. I'm only four months in though, and my decision to do this was spontaneous and came about due to some health concerns for mine. I have had asthma and eczema for most of my life. These are two inflammatory conditions that have left me breathless and peeling off my own skin to a gross degree. Since reducing my consumption of eggs and milk and taking out meat completely, I've been breathing better and I've had little to no rashes. As a shift to something completely plant based, I'm curious as to how it will further effect me physically alongside my future menstrual cycles as well. Again, this is just the case for myself and could effect others differently. I just know that society doesn't care for case by case conditions and wants EVERYBODY to do the exact same thing healthwise, regardless of how it effect them personally. They've been choosing death for us for centuries. Now, when some of us choose life, they want to call it dangerous pseudoscience. Spare me. Women need to get to know their own bodies on a personal level. Many modern doctors aren't healers. They're band-aid solutions. This includes female doctors, since they are getting paid too. We need to be in charge of our own health and start educating ourselves.
Periods were once considered the first curse on women. Perhaps they still are. They certainly aren't desired. This isn't to take the Christian perspective of "woman bad", but there are hidden truths within these ancient books that must be analyzed. In the case of Eve, she suffered two curses from God in Genesis 3:16:
"I will make your pains in childbearing very severe; with painful labor you will give birth to children."
And
"Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you."
There's no explicit mention of periods here, but pregnancy and periods go hand in hand on the pain spectrum it seems. The second quote is also intriguing. This desire for her husband is linked to pain as well as "inequality". I believe that her desire for Adam makes them far more equal than we realize. She suffers with him in his degeneracy now, although on a different level. It's also notable that her suffering is more severe and constant. Would she have this pain if she loved "God" more than Adam? Or if she loved herself more than Adam?
There are so many questions, many left unanswered. Regardless, there can be a more optimistic lens to this. Like many curses, perhaps this one can be broken.

DAY 13 💪💪💪
Jomies headcanons! (Maria included, 10 head canons for each of em! I’ll try not to do repeats of past head-canons I’ve shared)
——————-
Lets start off with good ol jakey boy!
-Jake definitely has imposter syndrome, 100%
-His pink tips are natural!! Like how people’s hair colour may fade when they get older, his pink tips are actually just the last bit of pink hair thats faded out as he’s gotten older. He had a full head of pink hair in his baby photos!
-I have adhd and I’m officially diagnosing him with it, mhm, yup. Its canon now/silly
-shakes his leg under his desk to stim
-really likes mac n cheese. Like, REALLY likes mac n cheese. Would eat it every day if his mum didn’t force him to have variety in his diet
-He has Eczema, As well as being super reactive to rashes. Avoid poison oak at all costs
-Is a big dog person, but used to own two canaries when he was younger named Jimmy and Lizzie (/ref)
-His favourite colour is Yellow!!
-freezes up when overstimulated
-He does makeup occasionally, golden shimmer eyeliner i’m looking at you
Next is Liam!!!
-he’s a scene kid at heart
-Based on @lettuce-theory ‘s first theory, I’m a whole-hearted believer that Liam did NOT, amd will not forgive Jake after the drake fight.
-Liam and Stacy are great friends on Instagram (gachagram, was it?) and stacy constantly dms him to stop liking her mums pictures. He does it purely to piss her off and plays along with the bit, even with the jomies, so well that he’s convinced everyone except for stacy that he’s actually got a thing for her mum
-His yee yee haircut is quite beautiful, he just never fucking styles it so his bangs part farther apart than drew and jake after episode 10.
-guys. He doesn’t have brown hair…He’s just a really dark red head.
-The most chill guy ever, you could tell him you murdered someone and he’d just be like “…So…You need me to help you hide the body? Orr….”
-Has an older sister, Doesn’t really remember her. She ran away when Liam was 4. He doesn’t really feel anything towards her, but he looks a lot like her. He thought for a while, after he learned about it, that he was his parent’s replacement for his sister, so his parents often reassure him that they love home for being him, and that he’ll always be their liam. Unless he deadnames 👍
-As you can probably tell by the last headcanon, his parents are wonderful people trying their best to keep liam happy and stay stable. They’re middle class, both teach at the local community college, and have a small, nice house. They’re supportive of everything he likes and does. They do miss their daughter, but they’ve put it behind them and do their hardest to focus on liam
-I suppose the last two are more or so just random character story bits I made up, not headcanons, so actual headcanon: He has a calcium deficiency 100%
-he rollerdisco-skates guys you can trust me im his yee yee ass haircut
Then Drew Ofc
-He’s left handed! (pretty sure this is canon because Dosh said so and everything that dosh says is canon, but take that with a grain of salt cause I may be wrong)
-he stops henry, liam, and jake very often to fix their shirt collars or pull down their sleeves. Just a pet peeve of his
-Drew goes to country clubs, He tried bringing henry and liam, but they got kicked out for running next to the pool and knocking a lady in. Jake, on the other hand, is beloved by all the elderly women, who sit around and listen to him talk about whatever. Drew has to drag him away
-small waist, (Put this in my drafts and came back and rosypenguin’s thing came up, Good to know other people agree LOL) but is incredibly insecure about it, cause yknow, slight internalised misogyny.
-Not gonna diagnose him with anything, Especially BPF since I don’t know how to properly portray it accurately to peoples with BPD’s experiences, however, I think he shows a lot of signs of BPD from my research
-has definitely had/is having sal thoughts. In the past, they were more intrusive, but after the drakeup and with what happened with zoey, I think he’s really hanging onto Drew and Henry at the moment.
-He has indeed taken a drink or two out of his parents alcohol cabinet while henry and liam and jake were over. Drew’s clingy when he’s tipsy, but he has terrible full-body migraines during hangover, so he hasn’t done it in a while
-had a bayblade collection when he was younger. Keeps it in his closet now, but he’s super fucking proud of it
-Completely immune to poison ivy, poison oak, And poison sumac.
-Used to be apart of a boyscouts troop, left after he figured out he wasn’t allergic to poison oak by accidentally eating it
Henry my BOYYYY
-Rewatches the entire original Pokémon series atleast 3 times a month
-His teeth were so crooked as a child that he couldn’t talk. He had headgear (Braces that go all around your head) on up until 7th grade, he started in 3rd grade.
-Bruises super easily on ththe slightest taps. Has had to explain to cps multiple times that his parents are not mistreating him
-wanted to learn how to skateboard, could indeed not skateboard
-listens to the living tombstone, Ghost and pals, and Jack stauber
-Had a raging fnaf phase when he was an early teenager
-Adhd as well, Very visibly shakes and gets overwhelmed
-can quite literally read liams mind, same with liam reading his, they finish eachothers thoughts.
-His love for lettuce is genuine, because he grows his own lettuce in his backyard. Lots of lettuce.
-His eyes are actually NOT light green, they’re continuously shifting through every visible colour on the spectrum
Lia!!
-like jake, MASSIVE imposter syndrome.
-Regrets leaving hailey, too deep in to go back.
-she’s got a lovely tenor singing voice, But doesn’t sing. She’s not interested in it
-Can do card tricks
-Half of her skirts are stolen from Zoey, which zoey doesn’t mind as long as they get washed properly
-She listens to Olivia rodrigo 100%. Sour album specifically
-Her favourite colour is purple!
-Her favourite flowers are alliums and lilacs, although she hates the smell of both
-Very frequent user of bath and body works’s cherry blossom fragrance
-other than olivia rodrigo, she listens to Pink pony club and ONLY pink pony club. No other songs
Zoey >:)
-her pink tips are not natural, they’re dyed by Maria!
-Her family Is rather middle class, but they’re still not always there. She has two older sisters who give her advice on high school. She greatly misinterprets that advice
-she’s into crystal/gem collecting, mostly because they’re pretty!
-She and drew once bought a couple geodes and spent 3 hours breaking em all open as a date, she’ll never admit it, but it was her favourite one.
-Got the gold digger mindset from social media (probably TikTok and instagram), as well as misinterpreted advice from her older sisters (such as “High school is hard, you dont have to spend it in one relationship.”)
-However, despite getting the mindset from social media, she was too deep rooted in it to feel anything but sorry for herself when she was caught, not for drew. She knew it was wrong
-Does love Lia and Maria though, and very often would take them on girls days with drew’s credit card. This included spa days, and grabbing coffee, and probablya bit(LOT) of shopping
-her favourite character in mean girls is Gretchen
-Her favourite drink is Shirley temples!!
-Went through a horse phase as a child
Maria!!
-Canadian!!! 🇨🇦 🍁!! Moved to the US when she was 8.
-She used to live in Québec, so they can speak french canadian!
-Dyes zoey’s hair tips pink for her, uses the leftover pink dye on her own hair! Her hair is light enough that it tints the bottom pink ^^
-Befriended Zoey in Preschool, but they’re just friends, not best friends.
-Big believer in Rosianity
-Tomboy!
-Uses She/they pronouns
-Can skateboard, learned it just because she wanted to rub it in henry’s face (he hates it)
-Listens to Chappel Roan 🔥🔥🔥
-has drew saved as ‘My wive’s boyfriend’ in her phone. Zoey doesn’t question it
#tmf#freakblr#the music freaks#tmf drew#31 days of freakblr#drew tmf#tmf liam#freakblr month#tmf zoey#tmf lia#tmf maria#tmf henry#headcanons#tmf jake#tmf jomies#plus the gals!#this took me like 2 hours to type what the bluey

Scatter-brained...
I can't sleep. Life been life-ing like shit lately. Usually, I'd be writing about it all, but I underestimated how annoying typing would becoming once I got nails.
Another thing I underestimated? How much I'd enjoy Ted Lasso. I especially like how they flesh out the "background" characters.
I went to a friend's 50th birthday party today. Ole girl got herself an Air BnB, a DJ, caterers to cook a meal complete with all her favorite foods, a bartender, and a MASSEUSE (two, in fact). Not just for her, for the guests. I ain't gon' hold you, the shit made me re-evaluate my life a lil bit.
I mean... what kind of life am I living, what kinds of goals am I setting for myself if they don't include treating myself to a massage every now and then? Sis said she has a standing appointment with her masseuse every two weeks and boy... I aspire.
I walked up to the lady and not only did she have the nerve to ask me if I wanted 30 minutes or 60, she went even further to inquire if I wanted full body or just upper body. When I tell you my jaw dropped... Very well may have been the best birthday party I've attended in my 32 African American years on this earth.
At the end of March, I slipped and hit my head at work and had to go to the ER. This past week, I discovered that I'm allergic to something in my office and had to go to urgent care to be seen. Despite this job's decent pay, it's fuck another year of this. Once a job puts me in the hospital, I gotta go. Got my eczema flaring up again from the stress nshit...
Gotdamn I'm not at all looking forward to having to hunt for a job again though.
Finally got a new set of waist beads. I missed them.
I can't believe we're already so close to the midway point of 2023. Paying these LA auto insurance premiums never gets any easier. No accidents whatsoever on my record, ain't had a speeding ticket in nearly a decade... It should be a crime what these niggas charge.
I have a passport now and I'm so happy. The next step is getting global entry because them long ass customs lines? Not for me.
I love the look of these nails and while the typing-being-more-difficult thing I can get used to... the hindrance it puts on my masturbation situation is where I draw the line. I've yet to find a toy that can do what I do and these nails make it very hard for me to do what I do. I'm currently ovulating and am beside myself. Send help. And somebody's mouth to cover and suck on my left titty.

Review - Ritual of Sakura duty free kit
Sakura season may be ephemeral, but I've always wished I could enjoy the scent year-round. And so begins my quest for a line of gentle, authentic, lightly sakura-scented bath and body products that are relatively easy to obtain. Rituals is a line of home and personal-care products inspired by scents and, well, rituals of self-care from around the world. I'd been wanting to try their Ritual of Sakura for a while but never got around to it. Until I passed through the duty-free shop in Denver on the way to California last time, and I knew it was fate. They had this lovely little kit that was a duty-free exclusive and I took it as a sign that I had to snag it. I managed to hold on to it until we got to Las Vegas, where I could take advantage of the huge glass shower and giant two-person bathtub. It made the experience all the more special. The products included in this travel-focused kit are a shampoo, rice scrub, foaming shower gel, and a body cream. They all include rice milk and cherry blossom. The products are all lovely to use - rich and creamy and not drying. The shower gel also makes an incredible shave gel and I'm always a fan of double-duty products, especially for travel. The rice scrub is very gentle, which my sensitive and eczema-prone skin greatly appreciated. The whole kit comes in an elegant little travel bag that's white faux-leather on the outside with a soft pink lining that suits the sakura theme perfectly. There is branding on it, but it's a very discreet embossed logo and I would not feel self-conscious carrying other products at all in this. The whole package and experience felt suitably luxurious for a Vegas getaway with a fancy bathtub. Unfortunately, for me personally, the scent on these missed the mark. It's definitely got notes of sakura but it reminds me more of that iconic "doll" scent from the early 80s (I know, I'm likely dating myself here). It's a combination of bright florals and a powdery, comforting scent, all undertoned with a very faint whiff of plastic. It was definitely less fresh and herbaceous than a true single-note sakura fragrance should be, which is what I am still on the prowl for. However, none of of this is to say that it's an unpleasant scent! Not by any means! It's familiar, but elevated, and unique enough to make it stand out in a line of overly florid and saccharine "cherry blossom" scents on the western market. All it means is that my hunt for a true, easily attainable sakura body care line continues. If you like the idea of a softer cherry blossom scent with a more western scent profile in mind, then I highly suggest checking this line out. But if you're like me and you're on the lookout for a pure sakura experience, maybe give Rituals of Sakura a pass. Read the full article

TOP 10 Winter Skin Care Tips
Winter is full of swing, colder and dry weather outside can wreak havoc on skin. So, if you are not careful for your skin then it can lead to chapped and red in this winter and it is really hard to overcome this issue. That’s why it is obligatory to follow skin care tips for winter season.
In each season, the skin condition keeps changing. Thus, it is crucial to switch winter skincare routines, so the skin does not suffer. Especially in winter, the skin will lose its natural moisture, which results in itchy and dry skin. In some situations, it will lead to eczema, psoriasis, and other skin conditions.
But, if you prepare yourself for the season then you won’t face any issue with dry or irritated skin and enjoy healthy or glowing skin. So, read out this blog and discover some amazing winter skin care tips that keep your skin issues at bay in the winter.
Skin Care Tips for Winter
Here are ten expert-backed skin care tips that will take your skin health from nada to Prada. So, let’s discover it here:
1.Switch Up Your Skincare Products
Contrary to popular belief, skin care depends on each season, and as the weather changes, it expects more care from you. So, it is vital to change the routine accordingly. Various products are available in the market, so use them to make your skin glow. Try to buy products that hydrate skin in the winter.
In winter, dry skin gets irritated quickly, so you must ensure that skin’s moisture barrier is healthy, select the skincare brand’s fragrance and alcohol-free product. The best body yogurt product is the secret of glowing and radiant skin. It makes you protected against harsh winter waves.
2.Use Calming Cleanser
Cleansing is the first and most crucial skincare step in the daily routine. So, when you are scrubbing to remove makeup, dirt, and oils, then consider honey almond scrub bar that treats your skin gently and does not strip away the natural moisture of the skin. Some people wash their face so aggressively that even damaging natural moisturizer leads to dry skin. The cleansing bar is go — to in the winter season to dissolve the day away and hydrates your skin.
3.Moisturize the Skin All Day
We all love fresh and lightweight gel moisturizers in summer, but winter require a richer formula to lock skin from hydration properly. The cold air depletes the skin moisture. Thus, moisturizing your skin is vital to keep it hydrated and soft. So, rather than using lotions use body butter creams and petroleum-based products which are excellent choices to treat dry skin in winter. Thus, always apply moisturizer after cleansing your face. Even people with oily skin should use lightweight, unscented moisturizer. It will nourish your skin deeply.
4.Use Sunscreen
Moisturizer makes your skin smoother, but sunscreen will protect the skin from UV rays. Whether outside is cloud or dark weather, your skin always needs sunscreen to protect from the sun. Even the temperature drops, sunscreen is always important to apply because there is always a radiant year around, and even a small amount of radiant can add to cumulative damage that is prone to skin cancer, pigmentation, aging, and wrinkles on the skin.
5.Invest in Humidifier
In the winter, it brings dry air inside and outside the home. Due to this, the water will start to evaporate from the body quickly. Thus, it becomes even more crucial to take care of your skin moisture and install a humidifier in your home. If you have dry patches, then moisturize them. However, the best way to avoid this issue is to order body butter online, giving the skin the required nourishment. Apply it to the body and massage it in a circular motion till absorbed by the skin.
6.Don’t forget to Exfoliate
Exfoliation is a crucial part of maintaining skin glow even in winter. If you fail to exfoliate your skin at least once a week, then you are not doing favors on the skin. An excellent approach to exfoliating the face in winter is using a body yogurt product and scrubbing it gently. It helps to remove dead skin cells and get rid of dirt and oil which builds on the skin’s surface.
7.Keep Yourself Hydrated
Anything you consume will reflect on your skin and body. So it is essential to eat healthily and drink as much water as possible. However, staying hydrated by consuming fluid and the best source is to intake water. The water will help you avoid skin dryness and make it younger and fresh. In the winter, people usually forget to drink enough water, which creates skin hydration issues.
8.Protect Your Lips Too
The skin on your lips is thin and loses its moisturizer quickly, which can lead to chapped and flaky lips. So, it is always essential to carry lip balm with you and rehydrate it from time to time. The lip essentials will not only add an extra layer between lips and moisture–sucking air but also provides essential nutrients that help your lips to moisturize from the inside.
9.Don’t Use Chemical Soaps
Harsh soaps are entirely prepared using a chemical and artificial fragrance that irritates the skin and leads to excessive dryness. But ordering honey almond soap online will keep the dryness issue at bay. So, using organic soap maintains skin shinning and makes them refreshing. Also, washing the face twice a day is mandatory as it will remove all the dirt and pollution from the skin.
10.Use Hydrating Mask
Due to low temperatures in winter, the humidity levels create various skin problems. Thus, pick a yogurt products, hydrating cream or sheet mask with moisturizing emollients and more active components like vitamin C and ceramides. This hydrating mask will remove impurities, calm dark spots, and exfoliate the skin.
Conclusion
As the winter season is here. Those with dry skin are worried that their skin will become more dry and flaky in winter. So, if you are facing a similar issue, then purchase organic products from Natural Splash. We assure you that our products will keep your skin healthy and glowing.

The Best Yoga Practices for Healthy Skin
Introduction
Yoga is much more than a physical workout. It’s a holistic practice that nourishes both the body and mind. If you’re looking for a natural way to achieve healthy skin and a radiant complexion, yoga can help you achieve just that.
By improving circulation, reducing stress, and promoting detoxification, yoga helps support a healthy body and glowing skin. So, can yoga improve skin complexion? Absolutely! In this blog, we’ll explore the best yoga asanas for healthy skin and how they contribute to your skin’s health and radiance.
Why Yoga is Great for Your Skin
Before diving into specific poses, it’s important to understand why yoga is beneficial for skin health. Here are the key ways yoga supports glowing skin:
Improves Circulation: Yoga improves blood circulation, which helps send oxygen and nutrients to the skin. This process leads to a healthy and glowing complexion.
Reduces Stress: Stress is a common culprit behind many skin issues, including acne, eczema, and dullness. Yoga helps calm the mind, reduce cortisol levels, and promote overall relaxation.
Detoxifies the Body: Many yoga poses stimulate the lymphatic system, helping to flush out toxins and impurities that can lead to breakouts and dull skin.
Balances Hormones: Regular yoga practice helps balance hormones, reducing skin problems linked to hormonal imbalances like acne and oily skin.
1. Pranayama (Breathing Techniques)
Pranayama refers to controlled breathing techniques that have numerous benefits for the skin. Practices like Kapalbhati (breath of fire) and Anulom Vilom (alternate nostril breathing) increase the oxygen levels in the body, improving blood circulation and flushing out toxins. These breathing exercises also reduce stress, a major factor behind skin issues such as acne and premature aging. By practicing pranayama regularly, you can enjoy a clearer, more radiant complexion.
2. Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation)
Surya Namaskar, or Sun Salutation, is a full-body sequence that promotes overall health and well-being. This dynamic flow of movements improves circulation and helps oxygenate your skin, giving it a youthful and glowing appearance. The continuous movement of the arms, legs, and spine also releases toxins and reduces tension in the body, contributing to smoother and more toned skin. Practicing Surya Namaskar regularly is a great way to achieve a healthy body and glowing skin.
3. Downward-Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana)
Adho Mukha Svanasana, or Downward-Facing Dog, is one of the most effective poses for boosting circulation to the face. As an inversion, it allows more oxygen-rich blood to flow to your head, promoting a fresh and rejuvenated look. This pose helps reduce puffiness, minimizes dark circles, and encourages skin vitality. By improving blood flow, Adho Mukha Svanasana contributes to healthy skin and a glowing complexion.
4. Plow Pose (Halasana)
Halasana, or the Plow Pose, is another inversion that stimulates circulation and encourages detoxification. This pose helps increase blood flow to your face and neck. This boost supports healthy skin and gives you a smoother complexion.Halasana also helps release tension in the spine, improving posture and allowing your skin to look smoother and more toned. Regular practice of this pose helps keep your skin clear and vibrant.
5. Child’s Pose (Balasana)
When it comes to yoga for healthy skin, reducing stress is key, and Balasana (Child’s Pose) is one of the best ways to do so. This gentle resting pose helps calm the nervous system, reduces cortisol levels, and promotes a sense of relaxation. Since stress is a major contributor to skin problems like acne and dullness, incorporating Balasana into your practice can help you maintain clear, glowing skin by managing stress effectively.
6. Bridge Pose (Setu Bandhasana)
The Bridge Pose (Setu Bandhasana) is a great way to improve circulation, especially to the face. This pose helps blood flow more efficiently throughout the body, providing the skin with the nutrients and oxygen it needs to stay healthy. By stretching the chest and opening the heart, Setu Bandhasana also reduces tension, which helps prevent wrinkles and fine lines. A stronger, more relaxed body translates to better, more radiant skin.
7. Seated Forward Bend (Paschimottanasana)
Paschimottanasana, or the Seated Forward Bend, is a relaxing pose that encourages detoxification and improves blood flow throughout the body. This forward fold helps release toxins and allows the body to relax deeply. It promotes clearer skin by improving digestion and stimulating the release of waste products. Paschimottanasana also helps reduce stress and anxiety, both of which are linked to skin flare-ups and dullness.
8. Face Yoga
In addition to body poses, incorporating face yoga into your routine can significantly enhance the health of your skin. Facial exercises promote better circulation, stimulate collagen production, and improve muscle tone, which can help reduce sagging and fine lines. Face yoga is an easy and effective way to target specific areas of the face and neck, helping to tighten skin and promote a youthful appearance.
9. Camel Pose (Ustrasana)
The Camel Pose (Ustrasana) is a heart-opening backbend that improves blood flow to the face and neck. This pose stretches the front of the body and encourages deeper breathing, which helps oxygenate your skin and promote a healthy complexion. Ustrasana also helps release tension and stress from the body, preventing stress-related skin issues like acne and eczema.
10. Detoxifying Twists
Twisting poses like Marichi Asana (Marichi’s Pose) or Ardha Matsyendrasana (Half Lord of the Fishes) are excellent for detoxifying the body. These poses help stimulate the digestive system, which in turn promotes better skin by eliminating toxins and waste products. A healthy digestive system is crucial for clear, glowing skin, and regular practice of twisting poses can help prevent breakouts and blemishes.
Can Yoga Improve Skin Complexion?
Yes, yoga can absolutely improve your skin complexion! Regular practice of yoga helps improve circulation, reduce stress, promote detoxification, and balance hormones. These factors are all essential for maintaining clear, healthy, and glowing skin. Whether you’re trying to reduce acne, prevent aging, or simply achieve a more radiant appearance, yoga offers a holistic solution for achieving your skin goals.

Must Know Permanent Tattoo Side Effects on Skin
Tattoos have become a mainstream form of self-expression, offering individuals the chance to immortalize memories, beliefs, or artistic designs on their skin. However, while permanent tattoos can be visually stunning, they come with risks that often go unnoticed. Understanding the tattoo side effects on skin is crucial before committing to this long-lasting decision. In this blog, we’ll explore these side effects, provide preventive measures, and discuss the safer alternatives offered by Simply Inked, a leader in Waterproof Temporary Tattoo in India.
Common Permanent Tattoo Side Effects on Skin
1. Allergic Reactions
One of the most common tattoo side effects on skin is allergic reactions to the ink. These reactions can range from mild irritation to severe rashes, particularly with red, green, or yellow dyes. Symptoms include redness, swelling, and itching, which can persist for weeks or even months.
2. Infections
Infections can occur if the tattooing equipment isn’t properly sterilized. Contaminated needles or inks can introduce bacteria or viruses into the skin, leading to pus, fever, and pain. In severe cases, infections can cause permanent scarring.
3. Skin Irritation and Sensitivity
Tattooing involves puncturing the skin, which can lead to sensitivity and irritation. Some individuals experience prolonged discomfort, especially if their skin is naturally sensitive or prone to eczema.
4. Scarring and Keloids
Improper tattoo aftercare can lead to scarring. Additionally, some people are prone to keloids—raised, thickened areas of scar tissue that form around the tattooed area, which can distort the design.
5. Long-Term Risks
Over time, tattoos can fade, lose their sharpness, and even cause skin discoloration. Some inks contain heavy metals, which may pose health risks when absorbed by the skin.
Minimizing Tattoo Side Effects on Skin
To reduce the risks associated with permanent tattoos, follow these precautions:
Choose a Reputable Artist: Ensure the tattoo artist uses sterilized equipment and high-quality inks.
Patch Test: Conduct a patch test to check for allergic reactions before applying the full tattoo.
Follow Aftercare Instructions: Proper cleaning, moisturizing, and avoiding direct sunlight are essential for healing.
Avoid Certain Areas: Sensitive areas like the face or joints may experience more irritation and discomfort.
A Safer Alternative: Waterproof Temporary Tattoos

Unlocking the Power of High-CBD Cannabis Seeds for Better Health: A Comprehensive Guide
Cannabis is a plant that has long been associated with medicinal benefits, and in recent years, the focus has shifted to its non-psychoactive compound: cannabidiol (CBD). Unlike THC, CBD does not cause a "high," making it an ideal option for those seeking the therapeutic advantages of cannabis without the mind-altering effects. One of the most effective ways to harness CBD’s benefits is by cultivating high-CBD cannabis seeds. In this guide, we'll explore how high-CBD cannabis seeds can support better health, the science behind them, and how you can incorporate them into your wellness routine.
What Are High-CBD Cannabis Seeds?
High-CBD cannabis seeds are specifically bred to produce plants with a higher concentration of CBD and lower levels of THC. These seeds are the foundation of the growing CBD industry, as they offer a more consistent and potent source of CBD-rich flowers. The plant's natural composition—rich in beneficial cannabinoids—makes it an attractive choice for those seeking alternative, plant-based therapies.
The Health Benefits of CBD
CBD has been studied extensively for its therapeutic potential, and research has shown that it can have a positive impact on a variety of health issues. Here are some key benefits:
Pain ManagementCBD has natural analgesic properties, making it an effective option for those dealing with chronic pain conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, and back pain. It works by interacting with the body’s endocannabinoid system to help reduce inflammation and modulate pain perception.
Anxiety and Stress ReliefMany people use CBD to reduce anxiety and stress. Studies have found that CBD may help regulate serotonin levels in the brain, promoting a sense of calm and relaxation. It’s especially useful for people dealing with social anxiety, generalized anxiety disorder, or even PTSD.
Improved SleepIf you struggle with insomnia or other sleep-related issues, high-CBD cannabis seeds may help. CBD is known for its calming effect, which can promote deeper, more restful sleep. It works by interacting with receptors in the brain to regulate sleep patterns and reduce disturbances.
Neuroprotective PropertiesThere is growing evidence that CBD has neuroprotective properties, making it a promising option for people with conditions such as Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s disease. Its ability to reduce inflammation in the brain and protect neurons could play a role in mitigating cognitive decline.
Skin HealthCBD has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can be beneficial for skin health. It can help with acne, eczema, and psoriasis by reducing inflammation, balancing oil production, and promoting healthier skin cells.
How to Grow High-CBD Cannabis for Health Benefits
Growing your own high-CBD cannabis plants from seed is a rewarding process, but it requires attention to detail. Here’s a quick rundown of the steps involved:
Choose Quality SeedsStart with high-quality, high-CBD cannabis seeds. Look for strains specifically bred for their CBD content, such as Charlotte’s Web, ACDC, or Harlequin. These strains are known for their therapeutic benefits and high CBD-to-THC ratios.
Find the Right Growing EnvironmentWhether you’re growing indoors or outdoors, make sure your plants have access to ample sunlight, proper ventilation, and a stable temperature. Indoor growing may give you more control over the environment, but outdoor plants can benefit from natural sunlight.
Harvesting and ExtractionOnce your plants have matured, you can harvest the flowers. The CBD-rich buds can be dried and cured before being processed into tinctures, oils, or capsules. This allows you to use the full power of the plant in various forms.
Store ProperlyTo maintain potency, store your harvested CBD products in a cool, dark place. Proper storage helps preserve the cannabinoids and prevents degradation over time.
The Future of High-CBD Cannabis in Wellness
As more research is conducted on CBD, its potential for health and wellness continues to expand. Whether you are looking for relief from physical ailments or simply want to enhance your overall well-being, high-CBD cannabis seeds offer a natural, effective solution.
Incorporating high-CBD cannabis into your wellness routine can be a game-changer. Whether grown at home or purchased from trusted suppliers, high-CBD products are gaining popularity for their ability to improve quality of life. As we continue to unlock the power of CBD, the possibilities for better health seem endless.
Conclusion: A Step Towards Natural Healing
High-CBD cannabis seeds are not just a passing trend—they are a vital resource for those seeking natural, plant-based remedies. From reducing anxiety to relieving chronic pain, the benefits of CBD are supported by both anecdotal evidence and scientific research. By cultivating your own high-CBD cannabis or choosing products made from these seeds, you are opening the door to a healthier, more balanced life. So, whether you're new to CBD or an experienced user, the power of high-CBD cannabis seeds can unlock a world of wellness and healing.

Use Sunscreen Daily to Fight UV Rays and Pollution
Use Sunscreen Daily to Fight UV Rays and Pollution
Use Sunscreen Daily: Protect Against UV Rays, Especially in Polluted Environments
To keep your skin healthy and looking its best, you must protect it from UV rays. At Dermac Clinic, Dermatologist in Model Town advise applying sunscreen every day as a preventative precaution against the damaging effects of pollutants and UV rays. Make an appointment with us right now to find out more about skin-type-specific, efficient sun protection techniques.
Understanding UV Radiation
UVA, UVB, and UVC are the three forms of ultraviolet (UV) radiation that the sun emits. UVA photons are the main cause of photoaging and skin cancer because they thoroughly enter the skin. Sunburns are caused by UVB rays, which damage the skin's outermost layers. The ozone layer absorbs UVC rays, preventing them from reaching the surface of the globe.
The Importance of Sunscreen:
Prevents Skin Cancer: Regular application of sunscreen can dramatically lower the chance of getting skin malignancies such as squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, and melanoma.
Reduces Premature Aging: Long-term exposure to the sun can develop wrinkles, fine lines, and age spots, which sunscreen helps avoid.
Preserves Even Skin Tone: Sunscreen helps keep a more even complexion and lessen hyperpigmentation by preventing sun damage.
The Impact of Pollution on Skin Health
The air quality in Delhi is frequently harmed by industrial pollutants, automobile pollution, and construction-related activities. Oxidative stress on the skin can be brought on by pollutants like ozone (O3), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), and particulate matter (PM2.5). Inflammation brought on by this stress can make skin disorders like psoriasis, eczema, and acne worse.
According to research, pollution might intensify the negative impacts of ultraviolet light. Collagen and elastin fibers, which are vital for maintaining firm, youthful skin, can be harmed by free radicals produced when UV rays contact with contaminants on the skin's surface.
Choosing the Right Sunscreen
When selecting a sunscreen, consider these key factors:
Broad-Spectrum Protection: Select a sunscreen that offers protection from UVA and UVB radiation.
SPF 30 or Higher: For sufficient protection, choose a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. Although they provide more protection, higher SPFs shouldn't take the place of frequent reapplication.
Water Resistance: To guarantee long-lasting protection, choose a formula that is water-resistant if you intend to swim or perspire.
Skin Type Considerations: Look for non-comedogenic solutions that won't clog pores if you have oily or acne-prone skin. Moisturizing sunscreens that contain hydrating elements may be beneficial for people with dry skin.
How to Apply Sunscreen Effectively
Apply liberally: Cover your entire body with around one ounce, or a shot glass full. Use around half a teaspoon for your face.
Time Is Everything: To ensure optimal absorption, apply sunscreen 15 to 30 minutes before going outside.
Reapply Frequently: To ensure protection, reapply every two hours or right away after swimming or perspiring.
Don't Forget Important regions: Make careful to cover regions that are frequently overlooked, like the ears, neck, tips of the feet, and bald spots.
Additional Sun Protection Measures
In addition to using sunscreen daily, consider these protective measures:
Wear Protective Clothes: Sunglasses, wide-brimmed hats, and long-sleeved clothing can all offer extra defense against UV radiation.
Seek Shade: During the hours of 10 AM to 4 PM, when UV radiation is at its greatest, try to avoid direct sunlight.
Steer clear of tanning beds: These devices expose your skin to damaging UV rays, which raises your chance of developing skin cancer.
Conclusion
Applying sunscreen on a daily basis is essential for shielding your skin from damaging UV rays and reducing the negative impacts of pollution, particularly in a city like Delhi where both are common. We at Dermac Clinic in Model Town, New Delhi, advise our clients to include sunscreen in their skincare regimen as a must.
Please get in touch with us if you need individualized skincare advice or have questions about selecting the best sunscreen. Your skin will be healthy and glowing for many years to come if you take precautions today
