My girlfriend (who has unlocked cis+) is asking questions about why we (trans people) are into the creature/monster/dehumanizing thing, like saying “I’m just a creature/beast” being into werewolves/vampires/inhuman monsters, lots of furries in the community etc. It got me thinking. “Huh, why DO we do that?” So trans people of tumblr!!!

I am submitting Brutus the rubber ducky on my desk as a canonically non-ADHD character (I said so, and it's real life canon now)

He has perfect executive functioning. If he wants to go something it is done within a few seconds due to his incredibly power.

I've insulted him many times and he never budges. He only gets meaner. He has so RSD.

I made him wear a little hat for a while and it didn't annoy him so no sensory issues.

He stared at me with judgmental little bitch boy eyes all the time and hasn't even gotten distracted from this task of his so he's very good at focusing and hasn't hyperfixated or hyperfocused on anything else.

He mocks me when I get distracted and I focus on my work solely because I don't want him to judge me. He's mean and has no sympathy for ADHD traits and I don't think he's projecting at all he just sucks that bad.

He has perfect memory and remembers all my faults. :(

Idk why I just spent so long typing this. Boredom makes me do things. Anyways. Joke submission kinda but hope this is at least fun to read poll blog

Honestly? Why not! I've actually considered a would you rather before, specifically for Mayuri's different outfit changes. Anyway, if after the polls run their course and people wanted to see more or take part in some sort of ultimate showdown bracket, that could be done.

So I haven’t written anything in a month

#Whoopsie #maybe I’ll post some polls to gather motivation #Actually I’m having a minor surgery next week and I’m counting on my post op drug induced to inspire me #Which sounds like a joke but actually #I’ve ended up with some strangely good vibes post anesthesia #Also I’ve been in a very melodramatic intense poetic sort of mood for like three months #which tends to produce work that might be a little more than my audience would like Lmao #which I know I should write what I want yadayda #but when I post something I do want it to have interaction just because it’s very disheartening if it doesn’t #plus I publish work with the intention of it being enjoyed by other people so if I do write something more intense I need to find a way to-#-set it up so it makes sense to the reader which is sort of a daunting task #when I come up with a scene I have the ancient well of my brain to set up. Decades or daydreaming as foreshadowing if you would #so posting something knowing people likely won’t read it feels like shooting myself in the foot #The little things I could write are also unlikely to get interaction. Which would make very sad which in turn would make it hard to write-#things that do get interaction. So those things in would sit around rotting which would make updating them more daunting #which in turn would make me sad. It’s a cycle
