Discover the Perks of Engaging in the Top 7 Muscular Endurance Training, Exercise, and Workout
Tumblr media
Who doesn't want those lean, flexible muscles that make you feel unstoppable? We often hear about the importance of physical appearance, but let's not forget the magic of activities that boost our muscular endurance. In this guide, we'll dive into the world of endurance training, exploring its perks, and breaking down some killer exercises for a workout that's both fun and effective.
Why Embrace Endurance Training?
Sure, looking good is a plus, but endurance training does so much more! It not only amps up your muscle strength but also turns your regular workout into something you genuinely look forward to.
1. Push-Up Position Plank:
Why it's Awesome: This move is like a secret weapon for your core during an endurance exercise. It strengthens your transverse abdominis, reducing the chance of those pesky spinal injuries. Plus, it's a great warm-up for the almighty push-up and an easy way to check in on your core strength. Can you hold it for at least a minute and a half? Give it a shot and make it part of your pre-endurance workout routine or sneak it in between sets.
2. Squat:
Why it's a Game-Changer: Squats are the superheroes of your lower body, upper body, and core. Stand with your feet just a tad wider than your shoulders, toes pointed out. Go down, come back up – easy, right? Beginners, start with 5-10 reps and embrace the burn.
3. Abdominal Crunch:
Why it Works: Time to give those abs some love during your endurance workout. Lie down, knees bent, feet flat on the floor, and let's crunch! Tilt your upper body towards your knees, and go for 10–15 reps to kickstart that core action.
4. Pike Crunch:
Why it's Fun: Spice things up with the pike crunch, a fantastic endurance exercise. Lie on your back, legs spread, arms up – now lift that body into a pike! It's like reaching for the stars, only better. Try 10-15 reps, or throw in a stability ball for an extra challenge.
5. Lunges:
Why it's a Must: Lunges are the full package for your abs, glutes, hips, and thighs, perfect for an endurance workout. Take a step, feel the burn, and return to the start. Give both legs some love with 10-15 reps each.
6. Plank:
Why it Challenges You: Planks are the ultimate challenge for your abs and back during an endurance exercise. Get in that position, keep it tight, and hold for 30 seconds. Take a breather, repeat three times, and feel the strength.
7. Farmer's Walk:
Why it's a Winner: Grab some weights, squat, tighten that core, and take a stroll. It's not just a walk; it's a farmer's walk – an ideal warm-up or a killer finish to your endurance workout.
In Conclusion :
Building muscular endurance isn't just about looking good; it's about feeling good and having a blast while doing it. Say goodbye to boring workouts, and hello to a routine that boosts your strength and stamina. Don't forget to add some endurance supplements and a solid diet to keep that energy high throughout your endurance training. Your fitness journey just got a whole lot more exciting – let's do this!

im being so so brave but also i am gripping you by the shoulders and leaning in and letting you know i am so tired of being brave
#my job has invented new and even more agonizing ways to make itself stressful to endure#and that isn't even counting the fact that i've now seriously fucked up my wrist transporting 30lb boxes up and down stairs#or the fact that i occasionally get piercing shoulder pains if i'm not super careful about how i use the hand truck#or the fact that whenever i come home on mondays my entire lower body is so sore that i can't move beyond a weak shuffle#it's the fact that my boss has no sense of organization#so my supervisor and i are basically salvaging or starting from scratch every week#it's the fact that some of our clients are asking for things we're not even contracted to provide#like access to our company materials or additional resources outside of our scheduled bookings#and that there's this constant looming threat of 'ohhh don't be bad at your job!! or else we'll lose our contract with these people!!'#but 'bad at your job' in this case means 'not bending over backwards to accommodate the least accommodating circumstances possible'#like 'hey you need to lead this training exercise meant for 20 people except actually you only have 4 people'#'and actually none of them are familiar with the prerequisites for this training or have any experience with the skills'#'and also none of them want to be there and half of them just Don't Do These Things as a rule'#'and if you try to make them do anything they don't want to do (even if it's literally the point of the training) they Will leave'#'and then we will no longer have enough clients to pay you'#like. what am i doing. this company was not designed to work with this format. we're not an arts and crafts group or a club meeting#hi so i wrote this post before starting weekend work prep#it has been 3 hours now#im still not done#i haven't eaten and my wrist hurts so bad#i need to.................. take a break................................

the whole batman muscle debate really makes no sense and i think it’s colored by steroids’ influence on our cultural perception of what fit/muscular ‘should’ look like. i know ben affleck looked like an absolute beefcake in bvs and good for him! however in reality those kinds of overly-defined veiny muscles only come from excessive exercise, steroid use, and dehydrating yourself. it makes no practical sense for bruce to be excessively exercising, because he gets all his exercise in his nightlife. it makes no practical sense for him to be on steroids, not because steroids are expensive (billionaire), but because they wipe out your endurance. a lot of these super jacked dudes will do showy workouts for their tiktoks but in reality can only do the bare minimum working out before they’re absolutely wiped, especially with cardio, which seems rather necessary for batman as a concept. and it makes no practical sense for him to dehydrate himself because again, you can’t function as well. sure, you ‘look great’ (if you’re vince mcmahon i guess cough cough) but it’s not realistic. and anyway, if bruce wayne was 8 feet tall and 400 lbs of solid muscle don’t you think having a secret identity would seem. i dunno a little superfluous?

I'm feeling a small victory this morning
#been trying to get a lil more in shape and started for realsies last week#and I reached a number on the scale I hadn't seen in like a year#(ok it is barely one lb below my usuals and normal fluctuations will probably get it back up but I still hadn't seen that for a year)#(and for me that's impressive on its own)#I don't want to look at the scale too much bc in the end it doesn't matter bc losing weight isn't even my real objective#and obsessing over the scale has only made things worse for me in the past#but I've been doing a bit of cardio to increase my running endurance so I can have more fun larping#and doing strength training bc I've always wanted big muscles for myself#and making sure what I eat will help the training aka more protein and fiber#and for sugar cravings I've been going toward smoothies more and gddm found some rly good low effort ones that I look forward to drinking#((ok I said I started for realsies last week but that's only the exercise part#been doing the protein thing for two now))#idk just been trying to eat healthier in general and working around my food pickiness without giving up treats#(dieting attempts have been disastrous for me in the past so prohibiting stuff and all is smthn I won't do)#been focusing on trying to find healthier options for myself and get exercise in and it probably doesn't mean anything#but im still proud of that 1 lb down#bc to me it means that something's changing in a body that has felt stagnant despite my efforts for years#and the possibility of being able to run for more than 10 seconds during larp feels feasible#idk it's a small victory for me and I think I should celebrate the small stuff too

what's really weird to me is how in many contexts strength training is seen as like hard or intimidating when it's like...i do something hard but relatively painless for 3 seconds and then sit around for 2 minutes. whereas "women's" workouts that people think are easier look like setting fire to your entire body for 15 minutes straight and then resting for 30 seconds

Today’s leg workout came with a view, lots of sun and…. a snake. ⛰️🚲🐍
In weather like this (98F in higher elevation) it’s important to stay properly fueled & hydrated. Here are some of my Go-Tos that I learned during my triathlon training:
Coconut water
Redmond salt @redmondrealsalt
Infinite Nutrition @theinfinitloop
BCAAs
Nuts & seeds
Manuka honey sticks
Protein shakes (recovery)
Ruvi (recovery) @getruvi
And lots of deep stretching & restorative yoga tonight!

If I walk on a treadmill while reading a very heavy hardcover book, will that count as upper body strength training?
