Overnight, I received a dozen messages from suffering Palestinians trapped under the Zionist occupation. Many of them were from accounts who had messaged me before, who I did not donate to, heartbroken that I had ignored their plight. This is my formal apology and explanation for them.
I lost my employment in May of this year because of my unending commitment to Palestinian liberation. I live in the belly of the beast of US imperialism, where conflicts between zionism and anti-zionism are constant. I have been on the US frontlines, establishing encampments, organizing the student mobilization, and attending demonstrations against Israel since Oct 8, 2023, and I had my employment taken away from me for it.
I just have less money to go around because I am not making income. I'm sorry that I cannot share every dollar of my savings to pay for the border crossing of every Palestinian, but even if I did that, I would not be able to save every life. I do not have nearly enough money to do so. I have to preserve myself so that I can live to help another day.
I'm sorry to anyone who reached out to me with a campaign to ensure their family's safety, who I didn't respond to or donate to. I am sorry. I am. I am furious that the United States funds a white supremacist colony stealing your land, your belongings, and your lives from you. I feel ashamed, I feel implicated, I feel angry. I am trying to help, but I have limits. I'm sorry if my limits have not yet extended to you.
‼️Please, if you are in the global north and have read this far, donate to some of the following campaigns. The power of the people depends on solidarity from us all. I have donated to two families today, consider donating to two or more yourself. ‼️
💗 @kawla-family4
💗 @mohiy-gaza2
💗 @anas--ahmed
💗 @abdelmutei
💗 @ahmadresh2
💗 @mahmoidsy
💗 @fidaa-family2
💗 @abedallhferwanagaza
💗 @zainsami <- has only received €800. You can help!
💗 @tarbeen-family-2 <- has only received €754. Put yourself in their shoes, look at your bank account, think of the help you could provide.
For Palestine to be free, the people of the world must make it happen. Almost one year has passed, and the world's governments have not stepped in to end the IDF's brutal occupation. It is up to us, working together, to ensure their safety, and that will involve our money
I am sorry to those families above I did not respond to. I took the easy path, the one expected of me by my government, by ignoring your cries for help. It is my strongest, most sincere wish that you survive, that you thrive, and that those who have done this to you suffer from shame and guilt for the rest of their waking days. That is the least that they deserve.
Good luck. So much love,
June

I’m actually fucking sick. History is repeating itself and our country is on the side of the genocide.
This is LITERALLY A CONCENTRATION CAMP. HOW MUCH MORE OBVIOUS DOES IT HAVE TO GET?
Don’t fucking say “Never again” if you mean it only for Jews.
Don’t fucking say “Never again” if you’re okay with a new Holocaust happening as long is it’s not to Jews.
Don’t FUCKING say “Never again” if you support a country tarnishing the memory of every single victim of the Jewish Holocaust by using it as an excuse to carry out genocide against another people.
“Never again’ means NEVER AGAIN FOR ANY OF US.
Concentration camp.
They built a concentration camp.

I don't think words can describe what this other than genocide.

Fun fact: during Korean War, the Chinese People's Volunteer Army(PVA) did not abuse or torture their prisoners of war, gave them better food and accommodation than that of PVA Personnels, and even hosted an Olympic sports events for them; in contrary to the US who tortures Chinese and Korean prisoners, tattooed reactionary words and symbols on their body, massacred them in drives, and shipped over then thousand of them to the ROC Occupied territory of Taiwan as slave labor.
And later when released UN Army soldiers spoke highly of the Chinese and some even refused to return to the US And instead remained in either China Mainland or DPRK, the US believed that these people were "tortured and brainwashed", and in an attempt to "replicate" these effect to make people blindly loyal to US Hegemony the CIA Made the notorious MK ULTRA.
And just like back then, the Imperialist Hegemony in attempt on undermining and dehumanizing their perceived enemies that they would use their human decency as an excuse for the atrocities they have commited and preparing to commit.

RAFAH, Gaza Strip (AP) — More than half a million people in Gaza — a quarter of the population — are starving, according to a report Thursday by the U.N. and other agencies that highlights the humanitarian crisis caused by Israel’s bombardment and siege on the territory in response to Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack. The extent of the population’s hunger eclipsed even the near-famines in Afghanistan and Yemen of recent years, according to figures in the report. The report warned that the risk of famine is “increasing each day,” blaming the hunger on insufficient aid entering Gaza. “It doesn’t get any worse,’’ said Arif Husain, chief economist for the U.N.’s World Food Program. “I have never seen something at the scale that is happening in Gaza. And at this speed.” ... At the start of the war, Israel stopped all deliveries of food, water, medicine and fuel into the territory. After U.S. pressure, it allowed a trickle of aid in through Egypt. But U.N. agencies say only 10% of Gaza’s food needs has been entering for weeks. (Dec. 21, 2023 | Source)

If you don’t support Palestine you have no morals, zero critical thinking skills and a level of naivety, ignorance and trust in the government that you should be ashamed of.

(Note: See updated post) The new DRAFT U.N. Resolution, set to be voted on today, calls for:
• ... “urgent and extended humanitarian pauses” in the fighting throughout Gaza and the opening of corridors inside the enclave “for a sufficient number of days to enable full, rapid, safe and unhindered humanitarian access.” • U.N. Secretary General António Guterres to appoint a senior coordinator “with responsibility for facilitating, coordinating, monitoring, and verifying in Gaza, as appropriate, the humanitarian nature” of all assistance, and demands that “the parties to the conflict cooperate with the coordinator to fulfill their mandate without delay or obstruction.” • ... “immediate and unconditional” release of the hostages. It also demands that “all parties to the conflict comply with their obligations under international law ... including with regard to the conduct of hostilities and the protection of civilians and civilian objects.” • It reiterates the council’s “unwavering commitment” to a two-state solution for Israelis and Palestinians and “stresses the importance of unifying the Gaza Strip with the West Bank under the Palestinian Authority.” (12/22/23 | Source: WaPo)
Although the resolution's language was toned down, this is a sign of progress. While such measures are long overdue and should have been honored from the start, we must do everything possible to meet the urgent humanitarian needs in Gaza and relieve unfathomable suffering.
DON'T STOP POSTING. KEEP UP THE PUBLIC PRESSURE. DEFEND HUMAN RIGHTS.
Stay tuned for today's vote.
