#I'd rather not clutter the caption so I'll ramble a little in the tags #HitW is short but special to me as it represents and encapsulates some hard life experiences I was going through at the time of its creatio #Ofc in a more metaphorical manner! but. I have been very much enjoying reading people's comments and speculation as its been posting #the interpretations are so meaningful and varied and i love that and really want to encourage anyone to reflect on what it means to them #for me making this comic was a way to process and move past trauma. i feel like it ends anti-climactically but i wanted to be true to #where i thought things were actually going in my life moreso than to veer towards impact. ultimately im glad i managed to finish it #and for it to finish going public right before the new year? maybe i can see this as shedding that old pain in time to become something new #so thank you for reading for supporting and for still being here. lets wake up to 2025 with wind in our sails #Home in the Woods #my art #my comics #original comic #cw guns #cw blood #cw body horror

demanding a series in the same vein (heh, vein) as Dexter/Hannibal wherein a prolific serial killer plays cat & mouse with the police--except the serial killer in question is a preteen schoolgirl. this would make for compelling television due to the fact that middle school frequently causes girls to become deranged, and more media should reflect this

#she hangs out at active crime scenes in a way that should be a red flag but 'evades' the police simply by merit of being in 7th grade #the ONE 'detective'/nemesis who is convinced she had something to do with The Murders #is the classmate who sorta tried to bully her at the beginning of the school year but then the vibes got all intense and sapphic #so she backed off and has been Ignoring the Nerd she does Not have a special interest in #except then The Murders begin and she has so many Suspicions BUT #everytime she confronts the antihero the interaction ends in accidental intimacy followed by furious blushing #the nemesis's father is an (unsympathetic) cop character who repeatedly ignores his daughter's concerns #'dad i think the weird girl in my math class is a serial killer' 'that's not an excuse for failing algebra. go do your homework'

I love Aabria's choices so much. Karna the dead spicy pepper? Burrow's End the true horror season? The bear battle map? Undead creachers just vibin' (shout out to Tula who died and just kept going anyway). Everything in the world building for Misfits and Magic season 2 (Joanne could NEVER). Like, I see an Aabria Iyengar season and I know it's going to feed my soul.

(og screenshot’s/cover under text!) Why hello there to my tumblr followers, it’s been a awhile /silly

ANYWAYS!!! Guess who recently finished the EVA franchise minus the rebuilds and has been in a horrible chokehold over it, this anime ruined my life but hey at least its intro theme is nice……

Well, I wanted to draw some stuff for it! All together these pieces took exactly 48 hours and 20 minutes… with the cover-piece taking ~35(?) of those hours. These were… very, VERY time costly safe to say LOL,,, I am super, SUPER proud of how the cover came out though, everything on it was drawn, colored, rendered, edited, whatever, BY HAND stroke by stroke (as you can see below)

The text, the lineart, the shadows, the colors, the snowflakes on the bio and Shuri, EVERYTHING was done by hand, it was horribly time costly but it did come out very, VERY well in the end I would say (fun fact! I also didn’t originally have the textless version of the cover, and I had to trace all of the lineart for bio’s tophalf by just guessing what line when where and what the hell was going on /silly)

this was a very, very hard project to do all together, but it was also a really nice learning experience too, I’m happy i did it that’s for sure :3!

this is one of those fic ideas i wanted to write for every ship i've ever been into so it will probably never happen but i'd like to have a silly story with 40 yo, single, lonely tommy kinard who's been down on his luck all his life - like i'm talking ridiculous levels of mom dying at childbirth, dad being terrible, horrifically unfortunate experience of the military, a series of failed jobs, a series of failed relationships, friendships never sticking for long, risks he takes always going south, somehow getting paper cuts through chainmail gloves, missing the bus while trying to avoid his daily encounter with the neighbor's dog etc. - one day opening the door of his downtrodden studio apartment to this beautiful man who stands there like a fucking angel. who looks at tommy with big apologetic eyes, red cheeks of shame, and twiddling thumbs of guilt and stutters, "so, uhm, i wish you didn't have to learn it this way but hi, i'm the guardian angel who, as it turns out, misplaced your files about four decades ago, and so uhm it just resurfaced, haha, and like yeah, i've been banished here for penance. i'll take the couch, it's fine."

#then it's a series of fortunate events where buck's involvement in tommy's life as his suspended guardian angel/odd roommate #leads to tommy becoming friends with the diaz guy down the hallway #and that gets tommy involved with the 118 and him deciding to leave his temp job to become a firefighter like he wanted all those years ago #but couldnt risk with how accident-prone he was #him becoming friends with hen leads to him getting more confident in his queer identity #he takes eddie's son to a shelter one day and tommy adopts a dog who adds life and love into his house #and during all this buck is not even powered he's not doing anything special to make up for what he fucked up he's just being buck #he creates a family out of strangers for tommy and he motivates him into taking chances on a new job and he places new plants #on his windowsills and he attempts to cook human food and makes tommy laugh sooo hard at some of his original recipes #and tommy gets to love life and himself along with falling in love with this guy who he's 50/50 on whether he's a real angel or a madman #at the end when the heaven tells buck he repent his mistakes and he can come back #buck chooses to stay with tommy on earth and become a mortal for him #the end #bucktommy #911 #mimi.txt #my fic
