what kind of creature is her aspect of the crucible transformation supposed to be? Is there some kind of consensus in the fan community about that? I definitely thought it was a centaur at first, but even if you ignore the extra set of limbs, it still has cloven hooves, so. Really not 100% sure what’s going on there
EDIT: I’m so dumb I forgot cows have cloven hooves. She’s got those big almost horns on her helmet and everything; she’s got a reverse minotaur thing going on. Big ol bull body

alright I’ve got a horror comic I’m trying to finish before Halloween, then I have a few more pages of Olive/Naomi werewolf comic like half-finished

Run Away With Me, Girl is a really really good comic in general, but I think the last chapter/epilogue is one of the better endings to a romance that I’ve read? It helps that I think Komari is a fantastic character, but it’s just such a good way of doing the whole “time skip to tie up loose ends” thing that these kinds of stories often do
#I know my original post was about the epilogue and this is from an entirely different part of the comic#i dunno there’s something I really love about how Messy this story is#one of the things I’ve been thinking about on my month(s) long romance manga binge#is just how to depict closeness and intimacy visually? how can I communicate relationships and emotions between these characters#via how they are represented together on the page#and I’d love to kind of write more cleanly and coherently about my thoughts BUT for now#I think Run Away With Me Girl does a great job of both showing and telling#in terms of we get narration that very directly gives us a character’s thoughts#but we also get to see these small gestures and little moments#and I think the stylized art works really well for those decompressed moments where we’re seeing a finger brush someone’s lips#or something similar#anyyyyway!!
