Love that Ann and Ryuji both love food and bond w Akira over food…something about it is so sweet to me. The ramen shop, the crepes, the hotel buffet, the afternoon diner hangouts, the attic hotpot…Ann making the hotpot suggestion; Ryuji showing u his favorite hole in the wall restaurant…all the thieves enjoying the local restaurants and food in strikers; Akira making the leblanc curry and coffee for teammates, and Akira getting volunteer help to cook restorative food for the team….i just love it alot. I want you to eat bc i want you to be well, i want us both to be well.

the fact that doctors can just Recommend Weight Loss with no instructions beyond ‘eat healthier/less’ is actually insane to me, i lost weight on purpose ONCE and it took me like 6 years to recover a semi-normal relationship with food and hunger

#uhh #disordered eating cw #just in case #mumbling #like jfc i know i’m not the first to say it and my experience is relatively SO tame #but it STILL fucked with my head for YEARS #and most people don’t go nearly that long between weight loss attempts at all for basically their whole lives!!!!!#and we’re so blasé about it like yeah just eat less to lose weight #and so few people talk about the really weird shit that phase of my life taught me even though they seem like pretty universal things #like when you lose weight deliberately by denying yourself food you get COLD #you get cold and you get in your head and you get sad it’s like being less alive #the times i’ve lost weight/recomped on accident (by doing smth that makes me move more‚ getting better sleep etc)#it’s been WARM #burn hotter move freer feel happier #and also the way hunger feels when you’ve been denying yourself food for an extended time is NOT the same as baseline hunger #it’s actually kind of wild that we use the same word to describe both feelings like that shit is NOT the same #that shit is not ‘being really hungry’ it’s a fuckin. blood curse or some shit you feel straight up unhinged #and i should disclaim here i am not talking large amounts of weight #i’ve fluctuated over i think a 20lb range max since reaching close to my adult height and that’s a guesstimate #but even in my relatively unremarkable little experiences here the way deliberate weight loss fucked with my brain is absurd to me #i’m fine now have been for years but seriously thinking back on it the fact that this is routine medical advice. unreal

no but aki gets so so sweet after you've had sex, he's unable to take his eyes off of you the whole time he's laying beside you and catching his breath. he's got the softest expression on his face, he's smiley and giddy, his cheeks are warm. he hugs you close and kisses your forehead, he asks you what he can do for you and you're not afraid to say it because you know aki wants nothing more than to give you everything you ask for.

#there's a flood coming to my city 😬#the wave is supposed to hit tomorrow at night #i'm a bit worried?#they say it's gonna be similae to 1997 #which is. not good.#everyone at work was panicking which did not help #they said the water is almost sold out in shops #and i couldn't go to the shop to buy it because i was. at work.#so i messaged my dad and he bought some for me and he'll drive over to bring it to me #his town doesn't have a big river so you can still buy water there lmao #i asked him to buy me some non perishable food like rice crackers while he was at it too #and now i'm scared that he and my mom will buy out the entire shop and i'll have to eat those things for months 😬#they can be like that sometimes haha #yeah they most definitely will bring over the whole car full of food what do i do 😭#anyway my main concern is the lack of electricity because the stupid stove in this flat doesn't use gas ;_;#gotta charge the powerbanks 💪#people are also worried that we'll go to work tomorrow and then it'll turn out the road is flooded and we'll have to stay at work overnight #lmaoooo why won't the company just give everyone the week off?? #ive been So off today (no spoons. foggy. everything aches.) and i keep thinking… if the cat was keeping me company all of this would feel -#- so so so much more tolerable #hes the laziest sweetest cuddliest little guy and he would spend all day with me in bed so long as i didnt stop petting him #just the feeling of another little living creature There. just the warm cat presence. just that comfort #and the routine of taking care of him… heres something i have to do. heres a little living being that has to have food morning and evening #heres a little fluffy guy who needs you to brush his fur #heres someone who might wanna go out and sit in the grass even if youre feeling ugh about it #basically. i think the responsibility of taking care of someone else will make it easier to take care of myself too #what is feeding the cat if not a reminder that i need to eat #what is brushing the cat if not a reminder that i might have some hygiene to take care of #yknow #and also holding and petting and scratching cat is the cure to any physical ailment truly #z talks

Usually if the system(s) get backed up or overwhelmed - or caught! Spoiling is contagious #It's pretty hard to catch tho unless it progresses to the skin which is pretty rare - or if infected blood gets into an uninfected system #Again! Hard to just accidentally happen! But not impossible #The best thing a Spoiled resident can do is rest - cool down - and eat foods rich in protein :)#Which is like the JD equivalent of bitter medicine lol - the stereotype of ''Ew Broccoli''? Yeah everyone in the JD universe feels that way #Ironic since I love broccoli but it's icky-bitter to JD residents! Haha - candied vegetables are an acquired-enjoyable taste tho :)#And carrots are obviously a very popular ingredient lol #But yeah - a lot of JD things are the opposite of how humans do like staying warm to fight sickness #Staying warm will make Spoiling progress faster and overwhelm a resident's system! The best thing to do is rest somewhere cold #Spoiling is much less common in winter as you can imagine :)#And just like Melting some foods are less prone to Spoiling than others - it's a bit less straightforward than Melting tho lol #Partially because it depends way more on the life habits of the resident rather than their inherent traits #But some foods are unusually delicate! And some keep forever! It's not dependent on ''soft'' foods or even sugar content!#Preservatives aren't really a thing in the JD universe - antibodies? Lol - and all residents are ''fresh'' food because they're regenerative #They're also all adults from the get-go so cell reproduction and body health....It's all a thing it's all a thing lol #The important part is that they can get sick but they can also heal themselves - and when they can't there's medicine and magic! :D #Like when the Candymer got a cut that went down to her air pocket! I just made the best hummus. A trick lets you boil dried chickpeas to nearly mush in 20 minutes, and it's the smoothest hummus ever.

I think making sweeping generalizations of specific traits being considered "ugly" is not great the same way i think its rude and unnecessary to call others ugly, i also think its worthwhile to acknowledge that certain traits ARE considered "Ugly" due to societal beauty standards, that doesn't make them ACTUALLY ugly, bc beauty is subjective anyway, and can be found Anywhere, and even someone who seems to tick every single box of societal beauty Ideals will almost certainly have at least one trait or feature about their appearance that they are insecure about or feel is "ugly", bc even within the constraints of conventional attractiveness theres subjectivity
