W2. Tell me about a fic you hope to post in 2025.

Optimally I'd like to start posting parts of the dicktim slowburn that I've been working on, but I'm a bit hesitant since it's pretty far from finished. But! The fic is pretty much a slowburn longfic spanning from A Lonely Place of Dying to my own take on what might happen post-RR #12 (the one where Tim gets kicked through a window). The fic mostly follows the general shape of canon, but I also reinterpret scenes from cannon and add some of my own in. The structure of the story is mildly non-linear, with a consistent present day scene used as a framing device that splits up separate arcs of flashback chapters. Since I really enjoy writing obsessive, codependent DickTim, the focus is on how a lot of trauma bonding led to these two having the very close relationship seen in canon, but I take it a bit farther since they're so extra about each other that I wanted to explore how the relationship might have tripped into more of a pre-dicktim focus in the flashbacks and a more romantic/sexual relationship in the present. Once they resolve their arguments about the RR conflict, of course.

W5. Tell me about a trope you’ve never written but want to try in 2025. I've always enjoyed the AU where someone is accidentally transformed into an animal and the other person has to take care of them. My beta reader and I brainstormed a version of that in which Dick is turned into a fluffy cat :3, so I might write that one out in fic form If not that, wingfic is fun and I haven't gotten a chance to write it yet :D Also, thank you so much!! When I first started in this fandom, there wasn't much Earth-3 dicktim content that had the vibe I was looking for, so I set out to write something I'd want to read. I'm really happy whenever other people also enjoy where it ended up! Also gothic romance vibe my beloved >:3 Gethsemane in Winter was so fun to write - I'm really glad you enjoy it!! I also really appreciate you letting me know that you enjoyed it! It means a lot to me <3 <3 <3 I never quite finished it, but I ended up writing a noir murder mystery style prequel to the series from the perspective of Detective Edward Nygma. He teams up with FBI agent Slade Wilson to track down the man only known as "Shrike," who is suspected to be behind a series of murders in which people had been left impaled on various spike-like objects. (Aka Dick's origin story in this verse. Tim also makes a couple of appearances since I'm basing some parts of this on A Lonely Place of Dying)

Hazard — (this will mainly also be my own thoughts bc it is my sona) Hazard cares little for the family, they simply just watch form the background. Not really wanting to get involved in the drama. But does have small biases and opinions

Moon - they’re uncomfortable with his personality and sarcasm at times. And confused at his way of thinking. But he’s interesting to watch and fun to see scared,

Sun - admires his will to stay kinda, despite how much has happened.

Earth - she fine, they don’t really have any major opinions on her, but she good in their book

Lunar - his behavior kinda puts them off, but they also understand that he’s been though stuff, but wishes he doesn’t accuse and so quickly (so luckily for his arc right now)

Solar - he means well. And that’s nice in their opinion. He’s fine. Likes his sarcasm and humor

Jack & Dazzle & molten- they think the children are adorable, and very fun to watch. Though pities that their stuck in such drama

Creator - indifferent, though he’s amusingly dumb at times

Monty - they’re uncomfortable with Monty’s personality, but tries not care too much. He’s fun to scare and mess with however

Modrolith — he’s very annoyed by how the family acts and dysfunctional it is at times. He wishes some members were more open and understanding of one another. But knows deep down that not every family is perfect. Like his own

Moon - on the teetering edge of being hated in Mo’s eyes. Sure he means well, but if doesn’t feel like it sometimes and that just annoys him to the core

Sun - he finds Sun very admirable, pleased by how carding Sun is to the children and his desire to protect them. He’d give Sun his blessing of more power to protect the children

Earth - a good women is a terrific queen in his book! Hard working and trying her best to help the family. Deeply wondering if he and her could have a spay day of sorts

Lunar - pities the life Lunar’s been though. But also hates how the family didn’t bother to completely address Lunar’s before

Solar - also admires how he also try’s for Jack. And pities that he had to live with a horrible brother before.

Jack & dazzle & molten- protect at all cost, they are the world. If one being hits hands on then he will personally torture them for eternity.

Creator - kill on site. The man creature does not deserve any title of parent. If he was able, the creator would be buried six feet under of molten lava

Monty - his feelings are surprisingly mixed. He doesn’t trust Monty. But Mo also see that he and Monty have a similar problem with their anger and emotions. And trying to make up for past horrible actions

i have a soft spot for faceless characters. like i think they're just so cute with their nonexistent yet expressive faces. and someone i follow has been reblogging a lot of gabriel from ultrakill (i know nothing about the character or the game but the art is so cool) who is a faceless character so i really wanted to draw one.

and hence this au was born.

connor's design is based off cyberlife's skinless android design and a little bit of viktor's robot followers (from arcane). y'all i am shit at technical drawing so apologies for my kinda scuffed robot design. i am no engineer that's for sure.

anyway i have no other ideas for this au so if someone sees this and is like hey that sounds like a cool fic idea, feel free to write it and just tag or dm me cause i'd love to read it. ALSO, if anyone has any more cool ideas for this i would love to draw it more bc i'm all out ahhahahah. (literally just drew this just to give connor a cute lil robo design LMAO)
