Okay guys we're almost there! I wanted to make a definitive post about S2 how I'll tag and interact etc

I will use the spoiler tag #tropspoilers from the date of the premiere 29th August (from approx 9am BST when I will have finished the episode) and for a FULL WEEK after as we are getting a 3 episode drop that day

I will NOT use the tag #theringsofpower for that week for any posts I make or any reblogs nor will I tag any characters I will only use the #tropspoilers tag for that week

For each new episode that releases I will be be watching on the Friday and be using the #tropspoilers tag for the entire weekend of that new episode.

When a new week starts I wil go back to using my regular tags ie character name, episode etc

The first week is the one I'm most harsh on since 3 episodes is an overwhelming amount and I don't want to spoil all 3 at once!

I will be making gifs from every episode and use the #tropspoilers tag for the durations stated above. I will also use the #(episode title) for season 2 and #(character name) after the weekend

Remember the first week though and weekends I will ONLY use the #tropspoilers tag even for my edits

I know no one ever actually looks at tumblr blogs, but I've made a basic page to hopefully collect information and links in the future.

An unofficial tabletop RPG published by Kadokawa. While the game as a whole is by no means "canon", it includes a full transcript of a game session with ZUN as one of the players, plus new character quotes and location descriptions written by ZUN, so it's worth checking out just for that alone.

Narratograph is largely boardgame-based, played with a selection of 30 characters gathering clues on a map of Gensokyo to progress through objectives and resolve the incident/kerfuffle of the week. However, it is still an RPG, with every scene being roleplayed and the incident also having a proper story to it. Narratively the game leans towards the light and feel-good end of Touhou fanworks, though I suppose it's up to you what you do with it. The book includes two prewritten adventures as examples, one of which I've run for a group to test it out.

It has pretty digestible mechanics, and a very unique danmaku combat system. To help with the number of sheets, figurines, tokens etc. needed, I've made public the Tabletop Simulator mod that I use to run the game myself, together with character figurines. You can use the assets included with the game to try and make it work in some other virtual tabletop of your choice. Or of course, you can also just print everything and play it live, if you can get a group together.

The rules have some quirks, and I'll try to figure out the best way to post my own notes and suggested houserules. As things stand, though, despite having nothing to do with the game officially, after putting a lot of work into it, I'm also curious to hear anyone's thoughts or experiences running it!

satoru was always chatty, shoko could definitely attest to that statement, subjected to too many conversations she definitely did not care about.

“isn’t it hotter than usual? i swear last year it was colder around this time of year-” he began, continuing to talk as shoko tried to focus instead on healing an injured itadori in front of her.

it seemed that his chatty characteristic only amplified when you were around, his eyes would visibly brighten, practically gleaming when you appeared in his eyesight.

“sweetheart! how are you? staying cold in this heat?” you can help but smile at him, walking straight into his already outstretched arms and squeezing his waist a bit, pressing a soft peck to his cheek before pulling away.

“heat? it feels so good out today!” you sigh happily, waving yellow to shoko and itadori, “it is hotter than last year though I’ll tell you that,” satoru grins at your words, turning to shoko with a flint in his eyes before turning back to you.

“that’s what I said! global warming is getting too severe-” the two of you walking out hand in hand, the taller man still talking as you listened intently.

satoru never felt the need to be quiet around you, always finding things to talk about no matter the task or the hour.

“and so you would think that since they were doing so bad they would think of making changes right?” you nod along, humming so he knows you’re listening, “but no! they keep going with same stupid strategy and it’s so frustrating as a fan to see, i just want him to achieve his dreams,” he sighs sadly.

“can you pass the salt?” you ask, taking it from his much larger hand, thanking him before speaking up again, “why does he keep resigning if they always treat him so poorly?” you ask, satoru smiles, heart warming at the fact that you really do pay attention to him.

“he’s always wanted to win with Ferrari- let me take you back to the beginning” he begins, giving you a summary of charles leclerc’s life as you finish cooking dinner.

you could always tell when he got a bit insecure of how talkative he was, but you’d always smile at him, urging him to go on. “and then what? why’d you stop talking?” you’d say, making him smile widely before quietly starting again.

“I’m listening, angel boy,” you mumble in between dreams, listening to him talk about how orange juice isn’t the same as it was when he was growing up and how the new game he downloaded was more complicated than it seems.

it could be nearing 2 in the morning but you wouldn’t mind, satoru would be discussing how and why wombats have cube shaped poops and how koalas eat eucalyptus and pandas have half a brain cell they don’t bother to use.

“it has no real nutritional value and that’s why they have to eat so much of it,” he mumbles, eyes drooping as he cuddles closer to you.

“aren’t they made to digest meat?” you whisper, head tucked into the crook of his neck, your breath running a chill down his spine.

“think so, dunno” he mumbles back, breathing evening out before he’s fully asleep.

your eyes open slowly as you crane your neck, his pink lips slightly parted as he takes soft breaths, snowy hair pointing every which way.

you can’t help but smile at your lover.

“goodnight pretty boy” you whisper, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek, “my little yapper,” you chuckle to yourself, already looking forward to what he’d talk about tomorrow.

"Aang is not mature enough for romantic relationships..."

Nobody of the Gaang and adjacent characters of AtLA are mature enough for romantic relationships. There are days I am not sure Uncle Iroh is mature enough for a romantic relationship.

That doesn’t mean nobody should engage in any kind of romantic relationships without passing a maturity test first. Or even reaching a set age. In the morning of the eighteenth birthday humans don’t get all the adult knowledge downloaded in their brains.

Relationships – romantic, familial, friendly and everything in between are a part of the human experience. They happen not because we are mature enough, but because we are human. We just deal with them differently and often better when we mature enough.

And yes, I remember that they are fictional characters, and nothing “just happens” to them. But they are not in a morality play that’s supposed to give viewers pre-chewed, easily digestible answers to all the problems in a sweet wholesome wrapper.

Inside their world they are alive, and that’s why we love them so much. Writers throw problems and feelings, and people, and accidents at them and we watch how they deal with them, mature or not.

They are not mature enough to fight in a war, let alone be responsible for stopping it, yet they do, and we cheer them up and feel heartbroken for them. They are not mature enough to have romantic relationships, yet they fall in love and try to figure out their way about it.

Making your phone useful🤍

If you're like me, you're going to want to have a phone that is pretty, functional, and productive to the max. We've gotten so obsessed with our phones, mindlessly scrolling, most people don't even realize how they can make they are spending around 3 months a year on their phones (say 6 hrs a day, which used to be my screen time!)

Here I'll be covering some tips to declutter your phone and apps to help boost productivity.

⭐Decluttering⭐

Clean out your gallery:

Delete old screenshots, accidental pictures of the floor or wall, ones with bad lighting, etc. Empty the bin once you're done. You'll get more storage and a cleaner photo gallery.

Delete apps you no longer use:

You know the ones. The apps you downloaded to try out but never bothered to delete? Yeah. Get rid of them. Remove apps that sit unused like Solitaire, etc.

Delete social media:

You heard me. Delete. Your. Social. Media. Especially if you have an addiction. I had the worst Instagram addiction 5 months ago and decided to end it after flunking my math exam. I'm not saying delete your account. Just log out, and delete the apps from your phone. This will prevent mindless scrolling and make way for more productive things to fill your time with. Reinstall the apps once you have more control over yourself.

today, I have had the rare privilege of observing a creature soaring above the rocky cliffs

the creature has body covered in a thick coat of fur. The fur is predominantly a soft white with hints of blues that shimmer under sunlight. Two prominent horns extend from its head. The tail is bushy, ending in a tuft, further enhancing its aerial camouflage

the creature is active during the day. It seems to float rather than walk, hovering just above the ground, which might be facilitated by some form of innate anti-gravitational ability.  Its movement consists of a series of light, springy jumps, with the fur around its body rippling as if it were gliding on invisible currents. Feeding habits suggest a diet consisting mainly of high-altitude grasses and hardy shrubs; I observed it delicately plucking at vegetation with a surprising nimbleness

at dawn, the creature emerges from small caves where it likely rests through the night. It spends a considerable portion of the day grazing with periods of rest atop elevated rocks or ledges. During these times, it engages in what appears to be a form of sunbathing, lying belly-up to the sky, possibly absorbing warmth or utilizing sunlight in some metabolic process. As dusk approaches, the creature retreats to its resting place, often accompanied by a low, melodic humming sound that reverberates through the rocks—a behavior whose purpose remains unclear

the creature is largely solitary; however, it occasionally interacts briefly with others of its kind. These interactions are somewhat awkward, marked by a series of intricate head tilts and tail flicks, which might be a form of non-verbal communication or a basic greeting. There doesn’t seem to be any clear social hierarchy or territorial disputes—each individual seems satisfied within its own space, coexisting with minimal conflict

given its herbivorous diet and gentle nature, the creature seems to occupy a niche as a low-level consumer, contributing to the control of mountain vegetation. Its droppings, which are rich in partially digested plant matter, may also play a crucial role in fertilization of high-altitude plants, which normally don’t have enough nutrients to sustain themselves

locals regard the creature with a mix of reverence and caution. It is believed to bring good fortune to those who witness its fog dance but is also thought to be a harbinger of storms when sighted in groups. Locals embellish these creatures with amber and amethyst. They believe this to be a way of gaining favor with the wind and sky gods. The creatures don’t seem to care

in addition to its apparent ability to hover, the creature exhibits a form of rudimentary telekinesis, capable of manipulating small objects or moving pebbles, possibly to access roots or disturb insects for feeding. This ability is subtle and seems to be used sparingly, suggesting it is either energetically taxing or reserved for specific needs

the thick, insulating fur protects the creature from the harsh mountain winds. Its unique ability to float likely evolved to navigate the treacherous terrain without expending the energy required for more conventional forms of locomotion

IT'S SLOWHOG - IT'S THE BOY

Slowhog is a gag fakemon whose stats are bad and movepool is bad and is bad. I love him. His lore is that he's highly edible, slow and weak. A slug/pig that recovers from steak being carved off it without issue. I want a plushie of him. The shiny version of him is green.

I decided he needed to be explored in every way and typed him out like an eeveelution. 

Porkpast was well received.

I know I did well when people pointed to each one and said it was slept on. Google 'Velvet Worm' and 'Sea pig'.

Having done all the types I moved onto Pre-evolutions.

Brekkie won hands down, I'm sorry P-Flop lovers but there you are. It's shiny would also be green. The Progress of: Brekkie -> Slowhog -> Porkpast is the correct line as it's: Breakfast -> Lunch -> Digestion Digestion is also Dinner but lunch is haunting you.

Running out of Hogs to Pork Post with I moved on to special forms. His Oinks will save us from the Kaiju.

Lack of new Hog made me plyable in my morals and I made meme material with him.

'Hogchamp' is now a server emote.

At this point someone in the discord posted a Slowhog made in SPORE which I grasped onto as a new hog to draw. I was grateful for this.

Next came Pride Month, which is a time we draw Slowhog.

Obviously. This is Pridehog and it's shiny version. You did not need me to tell you this.

It had been a while since I had hogged. I awoke from a dream about pork and sketched this out on a loose sheet of Clipstudio raster layer I had laying next to my bed. This is a sound type, I think. I imagine hell sounds like this at all times, except when you say something embarrassing, at which point it all cuts out and everyone looks at you condescending.

hink honk, honk, hinkhink honk - it went I tried to ignore it but the next dream told me I was 'needed'. I woke up uncomfortable and bussed into to the Sex Factory, where I work. My eyes were bleary after my shift (which I can't describe due to Tumblr's tos) and I stared at one of those bus seat patterns like you remember from school trips. I thought I was going mad. I took a picture.

"Do you see this?" I asked the tall and busty woman who kept dropping her keys and saying whoops and bending over in front of me. The other woman who had her keys on a loop through her jeans kept staring at her, assumably in dismay at her lack of practical key handling. "Huh?" She said. "Sorry about my keys they-" I snapped my fingers rudely (I was scared) "Do you see that Pink pattern on the bus seats?" She looked confused and dropped her keys again. "No? They're fully blue." I looked back at the seats, they were fully blue. The picture on the digital camera I carry with me as an ironic anachronism displayed the slowhog pattern in full. I got off the bus and decided to draw some details on the Slowhog Evolutions.

You can also get Porkpast by inflating Hogone enough. You can't inflate Porkpast though, he's a ghost.

I felt refreshed, cleansed. But also a touch greasy. I had another dream, but this time the dream creature was a dog who spoke in polish and I realised I was just unhealthily sleep deprived.

My boy gets so riled up while watching football games, he literally stands up and yells at the TV every twenty seconds and always complains that HE could do so much better on the field than the actual professional football players. It's safe to say that whenever you're hanging out at his place and there's a game about to start, you don't stick around for too long 💀🫶

You know how the girls on tiktok make fun of how men apply their chapsticks? Well yeah, SUNGHOON is one of these men. I'm talking like all lips pursed awkwardly, aggressively rubbing the chapstick and literally missing half of his lips in the result
