A fundraising platform is a getaway that makes use of multiple tools to raise funds for a charitable cause. A good fundraising platform helps an organization meet the fundraising goals of both individuals as well as organizations of different sizes. An individual or organization can associate with a fundraising platform and raise funds by reaching a larger audience. Irrespective of the organizer, a charity fundraising journey can be both fulfilling and overwhelming. Hence, big or small, outdoor event or online- all donations matter.

Hello, I'm Mohmmed Akram, This is my brother Ahmed
We live in Gaza, which has been suffering from war for more than 10 months.
I had a lot of ambitions and dreams that I was working to achieve, but all that faded from the start of this brutal war.
10 months of bombing, destruction, suffering, displacement and death.
Our house was destroyed at the beginning of the war on Gaza and I had to flee inside Gaza at the beginning since the third day of the war before I was taken out of it (to the south),
So that all our fortunes, memories and lives will be smarted out before October 7th. The costs now are heartbreak and unspeakable and unbearable conditions, in a tent that cannot be described .
It was one of the worst days in which this cruelty and famine were thrown upon us. On that nightmarish day, a school housing a large number of displaced children and women was targeted in this place. My brother Ahmed was injured in the head as he was trying to make a living during these famines.
My brother Ahmed is injured
Unfortunately, due to the presence of many among them, shocks, cases of fainting, needs, medical care needs, problems and difficult circumstances, but your help, my friends, standing next to Ahmed Kakh, is for you. He and his family need help to enable them to overcome this disaster and suffering.
Thank you for your interest and reading, and I hope you can help, if only a little ❤

I can’t believe that one simple question of- “hey should I donate to this nonprofit organization that brings happiness to me and others” -has brought such fucking vitriol out of some of y’all…
..,if your cause is driving you to tell people to kill themselves because they thought about donating $5 to a fanfiction website, maybe you should go outside, touch grass, and rethink your morals, yeah?

negative connotations to Arabic phrase ‘God is Great’ incorrect. average praying Muslim does takbir (says Allahu Akbar) a minimum 95 times a day and should have been counted.
#minimum#like MIMIMUM.#each day#like that’s just for the 5 prayers#only the obligatory ones it doesn’t include the additional voluntary ones most people also tend to do at some point#it doesn’t include regular use of the phrase in conversation#the phrase is literally used as an exclamation#like if you say ‘Allahu akbar my shift is over! I can go home alhumdulilah!’#like I don’t know what to tell you#western news-media connotations are so weird#you literally yell takbir to celebrate as well#saw a thing where everyone did takbir every time someone donated a huge amount to charity like brooooooooo#people be laughing so hard and getting Allahuakbar Allahuakbar out while wheezing#you score a goal? Allahu akbar alhumdulilah#this is very normal culturally transmitted info#Christian Arabs use the phrase as well like it's Arabic come on western media you’re not even trying#it’s such a joke#95 doesn't even include the 2 calls to prayer#it doesn't count people who do the extra allahu akbar (x33) after each prayer#doesn't include anything recited before bed#like. these are not uncommon things people choose to do. like...... BRO???#if you've ever seen Muslims praying in a group the person leading the prayer does the takbir out loud. that's literally how it's done#there are like 7 or 5 'Allahu akbar's in each round of prayer#you can't NOT say that part out loud it's literally THE part that has to be said out loud in each prayer#this information is very available online#you can say it before doing anything idk why it became a big deal in the west especially#it's some strange xenophobic Islamophobic normalise killings in those regions of the world mix#I’ve been getting recommended so many Arabic anime edits idk what to tell you#call everyone habibi it’s good for you#one of the most popular world languages fr

‘I can’t find good clothes in charity shops! I have to buy from SHEIN!’
Brev I just got a slutty as hell top + a chunky bracelet + a carrier bag for £3 in a charity shop smaller than my bedroom. And they didn’t even charge me for the carrier bag.
Maybe the charity shops aren’t the problem. Maybe you just dress like a loser.

honestly fascinated by people on here who will spend money to blaze their bad fanfiction that nobody wants to see instead of donating it to any of the dozens of life-saving escape gofundmes undoubtedly circulating on their dash

Idk who needs to hear this but
Do not send money to that person on Tumblr who says they're going homeless, starving, dying, etc. It is probably not real, ESPECIALLY not if it's in YOUR ASK BOX.
I know it'll make you feel better to help. If you really want to help someone, take the time to investigate their profile for credibility.
Signs of Credibility
Posts are unique with noticable effort put into them - look out for copy pasting
Many original posts unrelated to their struggles, especially interacting with peers and/or communities. Even more credible if they have their own community. - If their whole page is dedicated to their struggle and boosting others, it's probably not real.
Other social medias linked, with activities spanning over a long period of time (unrelated to donation style content)
Does not overshare details about their suffering - they only say what needs to be shared i.e "medical costs, battling cancer, etc."
No set amount of money needed is stated
Photos are unique, not stolen
Grammer is concise and consistent - those who are seriously trying to get help are going to try and present themselves nicely / professionally
Tags are relevant to the post / poster
There are definitely more signs of credibility to be noted, so feel free to add in the comments. PEACE 👌

I found a place where you can put clothes you don't want anymore in a container and I assumed it's either going to get recycled or given to charities but when i looked closer someone wrote "don't steal the clothes!!" on it and it's like. people put the clothes in for free. how is it stealing if you take something people don't want. does the owner of this container profit from the clothes or something? do they think what they are doing is charity but if a poor person takes the clothes thats not charity?? very confusing

Saw a video and it got me in a mood so i'm making this post.
I don't think people who have never been fat knows how fucking hard it is to find clothing for bigger bodies.
The first issue is finding stuff in your actual size. Because time after time after time and time again I've gone to a store and they only had small and medium sizes. Not even large. And this was not for a few clothes, no. It was for MOST clothes that I found interesting. And then the ones that were marked as large were simply not big enough.
And I know that the reason for that is that brands simply won't make clothes for fat people. It's that because it surely isn't because the large size is selling out fast. They just don't do it. And some people have the nerve to say 'well brands are not obligated to make sizes for everyone' yeah sure, but also, I can't walk naked on the street can I?
Like I don't get it. 'oh but we want our clothes to fit a especific body' so fucking make clothes that are supposed to fit bigger bodies. Doesn't have a to be a whole ass collection.
And then we get on the second problem which is making clothes for plus size people that are ugly as hell. It's always the same stuff: ugly florals, animal print that belongs in another decade, cold shoulders, that weird extra fabric at the end of a shirt to hide the belly, or just black/muted colors.
Like fun fact. If you have big boobs, the hardest thing in the world is trying to find a bra that comes in a color that isn't white, black or beige. Because trust me, I've spent 3 hours walking in the shopping mall and I couldn't find anything that fit my breasts that was like pink (and in that situation I needed a pink bra for a play).
It feels like most clothes made for plus sized people are designed with like 50+ year old white women in mind, and not even that demographic of people are wearing those clothes (my mom is a plus sized 50+ year old white woman and often talks about how ugly some clothes made for people her size are).
It's hard trying to develop your own sense of style when none of the clothes around you are in your size, and when they do, they are just not good looking to you.
But you wanna know what's the down right worst part? Do you know what fucking brand has clothes that look good and are amde for bigger bodies?
The goddamn cancer on this earth that is Shein.
I fucking hate shein. Fast fashion is killin the fashion industry, they literally have people working as slaves and many influecers buy shein clothes by the bulk only to then throw it in the trash. Shein is awful.
But. Unfortunetly, shein is the only place that I found that had clothes that fit me and looked good. I don't like that. I avoided buying from shein for the longest time ever, but jesus christ, when you can't find clothes anywhere else you get desperate.
I tried looking for other places. I tried looking at my local clothing stores and everything was too small for me. I tried looking at online small bussinesses but they either didn't make my size, or it was sold out, or the prices were very high. Tried looking at thrift stores, also didn't find my size.
I try not to buy too much from shein or to spend long periods of time in between buying, because again, I feel bad about buying there. I don't want to buy from there.
Clothing brands/stores gotta do better. And I don't think that's asking for too much.

I'll say it as many times as it needs to be said. There is absolutely miniscule actual harm that comes from engaging with Harry Potter in 2024. JK Rowling does not need money. Anything sent her way is less than a rounding error. And the book series was literally EVERYWHERE in the 90s and 2000s. Like it or not, it DID impact a whole generation of people - pretending that never happened is completely absurd, if not outright irresponsible. It happened. It's just a fact. Harry Potter is mainstream. There is nothing that can be done to 'promote' it. It's already there.
What all this obsession with HP on tumblr is about? An easy way to smugly define Good People from Bad People. Because if you *really* cared about trans people enough, you'd hate everything associated with Harry Potter. Regardless of how much you adored it when you were 8 and went to Harry Potter parties with your family all dressed up quoting book lines at one another in your most precious childhood memories because for once your special interest actually aligned with the people closest to you. No, all those positive associations should have been deleted instantly. If you *cared enough*, it would just *happen*.
Which is why a whole slew of people who previously had earnestly reblogged posts about Moral OCD and how bad tumblr can be about it were suddenly cackling about how buying Hogwarts Legacy was comparable to *refusing to throw The One Ring into Mordor, starting a war that would kill millions.* And how donating to a pro-trans charity (an act that would have VASTLY more impact than aforementioned rounding error) is comparable to 'donating to a pro-elf charity' in the wake of that.
Because tumblr doesn't actually give a shit about autistics or OCD sufferers. When we complain about stuff that they also dislike, they proudly reblog that and rage in the notes about how selfish and cruel and Individualist those other people on tumblr are!!! But the *second* they get to paint themselves as the ones with '''''good thoughts and feelings'''''' they take it, and make up posts about how HP likers 'believe they're the main character and everything should revolve around them.'
Is it actually about whether something causes harm? Or is it about dividing the world into Inherently Good People and Inherently Bad People? Is it actually about doing real good for the community and making the world a better place? Or is it about shaming people with the Wrong Emotions until they fucking hate themselves and spend hours upon hours ruminating on end trying to change themselves because their inability to let go of positive Harry Potter feelings is OBVIOUSLY evidence of a truly inescapably evil and cruel and wretched identity that the world would be better off without?
Which is it, actually? When it actually feels a little bit good to feel like you're on the Right Side of all of this, for once?
