I'd been watching Distractible for most of the day and all I can think about is Ford, Stan and Fidds being in these insane situations because Mark, Bob and Wade are so chaotic and share a single brain cell that it just screams Mystery Trio shenanigans.

In fact fuck it new au for me and my needs. I'm calling it-

Mystery Podcast Trio.

Once I come up with more stuff I'll harass y'all some more.

I love listening to Distractible, especially when they’re talking about when they were in school cuz it’s always:

Bob: we did stupid shit in college, you know what I’m talking about Mark. Also I nearly died multiple times.

Mark: I did the stupid shit but I also remember only the magnets despite walking through a Dino museum

Wade: I don’t remember much but Tyler was fucking terrifying. Also Mark, weren’t you in [insert here] class??

Ok so, this might have been very loosely inspired by that one Distractible episode where Mark plays the higher or lower game and his very fair joker rule. I’ll love you forever if you know what I’m talking about. It’s truly one of the best podcasts out there.

Word count: 140

Drarry microfic: higher or lower

“Higher or lower?”

Draco took a deep breath, narrowing his eyes. The card in front of him was an eight. It could be either lower or higher. He sighed. “Lower.”

Slowly, very slowly, Harry turned the next card around, revealing…

“A joker?” Draco asked, confused. “What the hell does that mean?”

Harry’s lips curled into a smug smile. He leaned closer, placing two fingers under Draco’s chin. “It means,” he said, his voice low, “that I get to do what I’ve been wanting to do for a while.”

Draco’s gaze was focussed on Harry’s slightly parted lips. From this close they looked fuller than he would have thought. “Is that so?”

“Hmm.” Harry hummed, leaning all the way in and placing his lips against Draco’s.

Without Harry even realising, Draco lifted his wand and transfigured all the cards into jokers.
