Donald Duck, Della Duck, Daisy Duck, Gus Goose and Gyro Gearloose's Easter and Birthday Celebration - Donald's Family and Friends - Quack Pack AU - Duckverse
Even though I know it’s past, I wish everyone a happy Easter once again, according to the Julian calendar, as well as the one that has passed, as well as a happy belated birthday to Gyro Gearloose and Gus Goose and happy birthday to my best and favorite character, Donald Duck, who will celebrate his 90th birthday this year! And happy birthday to Daisy and Della Duck, since they are also celebrating their birthday at the same time as Donald Duck. And together with their friends and relatives. And they are present at Donald’s jubilee 90th birthday. I drew as the end of the celebration of the Easter holidays as well as the birthday of my favorite characters.
On June 7, 1940, Donald's classic short “Mr Duck Steps Out” was shown, featuring Daisy Duck for the first time. 9/6/1934 The Classic Short "The Wise Little Hen" was shown and Donald Duck appeared there for the first time. Donald Duck will become one of the main stars of not only Disney, but also cartoon films, comics and video games at all. Certainly there is no need to tell his history. Della Duck is first mentioned in the comic book Donald's Nephews, and then made her first appearance in the 1994 comic strip "The Empire Builder from Calisota" by Don Rosa, from The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck. Gyro Gearloose first appeared in the comic "Gladstone's Terrible Secret" published in May 1952 by Carl Barks. On May 18, 1938, in the classic short "Donald's Cousin Gus", Donald's cousin Gus Goose, who always likes to eat, appears for the first time. So I wish everyone a happy birthday. Certainly to all who are Orthodox (especially those who celebrate according to the Julian calendar and who celebrate after the Jewish Passover) who live in Palestine, Syria, Egypt, Armenia, Greece, Serbia, Cyprus, Russia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Romania, Georgia, Ukraine, Montenegro, North Macedonia and to all Orthodox people living around the world, I wish you a happy Easter! Christ is risen! Христос васкресе!
If someone asks me, yes, it is celebrated differently among the Orthodox and differently among the Catholics and Protestants, so it turned out to be a completely different Easter this year. Don’t worry, there will be a joint Easter next year. So Orthodox Easter fell on this day. The day he was crucified and died, resurrected and defeated death and the devil and proved that there is eternal life for all of us who believe. Glory to Jesus Christ who died for all of us sinners and rose again for all of us to save us!
This time Jose Ze Carioca (José Carioca-Zé Carioca) and Donald found themselves together and applied one traditional Serbian custom for Easter, and that is beating eggs, hitting egg on egg. The one who hits well and leaves that egg undamaged, is the winner. So I put them on this time too. And don’t worry, they don’t eat eggs, they are mostly artificial eggs. ;)
I drew a drawing, this time with adults keeping the Easter tradition and celebrating a birthday and mostly I combined from Quack Pack, The Legend of The Three Caballeros, Donald Duck comics (Italian comics), Ze Carioca comics (Brazilian comics), Darkwing Duck, Ducktales both versions, Double Duck and Duck Avenger (Paperinik) comics. It's mostly part of that Quack Pack AU of mine. I drew mostly in my own way. In addition to beating eggs, there are also Easter eggs, cherries and birthday cake. Mostly present in this drawing are Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Jose Ze Carioca (José Carioca-Zé Carioca), Rosinha Maria Vaz, Nestor, Aracuan Bird, Panchito Pistoles, Della Duck, Gyro Gearloose, Dickie Duck, Little Helper, Gus Goose, Fethry Duck, Gladstone Gander, Abner Whitewater Duck, Uno Ducklair (One-Uno), Drake Mallard, Fenton Crackshell, Gandra Dee, Morgana Macawber, Launchpad McQuack, Lyla Lay and Kay K. I wanted to add more characters, but unfortunately not all of them would fit on my drawing. Sorry!
I hope you like this drawing and this idea and feel free to like and reblog this, just don’t use these same ideas of mine without mentioning me. Thank you! Also Happy Easter to everyone once again and Happy Birthday to Gyro Gearloose, Gus Goose, Daisy Duck and Della Duck! But especially happy birthday to my best duck, Donald Duck! And this is just the beginning of that celebration!
This is also a gift for my friends @isabellanajera, @you-big-palooka, @elmer-dat-gander , @fantasticenthusiasttale and @barbiedisneyavenger as well as for a friend who recently celebrated her birthday, happy birthday dear @nuvemzinhacorderosa ! I hope you like this!

The Disney Showman (Unexpected Musical) — PattyCake Productions music video
youtube
Nostalgia can be a powerful force. The Greatest Showman portrays P.T. Barnum as a dreamer who wanted to entertain people above all else. There is a very similar air to the general perception of Walt Disney. Both men were, of course, much more complicated than their public personas, but the parallels were too strong for the PattyCake guys to resist. Especially since both Tony and Layne had worked at Disney World, performed on Disney cruises, and collaborated on projects with the company at large. So combining the Showman music with a visual retrospective of Walt's life was a perfect fit.
Details:
title: Unexpected Musicals — The Disney Showman
performers: D.J. Muto, Paul Kaleka, & James Keaton (Walt Disney); Eli Jacobson (Roy Disney / featured vocals); Jonathan Timpanelli & Joey D'Angelo-LaJoie (Robert & Richard Sherman); Olivia Adkins (Snow White model); Amy Garton (Julie Andrews); Isabella Muto (Shirley Temple); Jacob McAlister, David Kotary, James Berkley, Domenic Servidio, Chadd Winston, & Eduardo Marques de Oliveria (animators); Alexander Browne (animator / Mouseketeer); Rachel Copeland Evans, Gizelle Pagan, & Darlene Chudinski Henry (Mouseketeers); Brad Pettit (Mouseketeer / chimney sweep); Jason Tibbs, Michael Rundy, Matt Hudson (chimney sweeps); Lauriel Marques de Oliveria, Grace Flaherty, & Sonia Roman (inkers & painters); Hannah Laird, Tony Wakim, Layne Stein, & Lilly Kolb (featured vocals)
original songs / performers: "Rewrite the Stars", "A Million Dreams", & "Come Alive" by the cast of The Greatest Showman (2017); "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" by James Baskett in Song of the South (1946); "I Got No Strings" by Dickie Jones in Pinocchio (1940); "You Can Fly! You Can Fly! You Can Fly!" by Bobby Driscoll, the cast of Peter Pan (1953), & The Jud Conlon Chorus; "Mickey Mouse Club March" by the cast of The Mickey Mouse Club (1955)
written by: "Rewrite the Stars", "A Million Dreams", & "Come Alive" by Benj Pasek & Justin Paul; "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" by Allie Wrubel & Ray Gilbert; "I Got No Strings" by Leigh Harline & Ned Washington; "You Can Fly! You Can Fly! You Can Fly!" by Sammy Cahn & Sammy Fain; "Mickey Mouse Club March" by Jimmie Dodd
arranged by: Layne Stein & Tony Wakim
release date: 2 March 2018
My favorite bits:
combining the Disney fanfare with instrumentation from "Rewrite the Stars"
young Walt sketching Oswald the rabbit, followed by adult Walt creating Mortimer Mickey Mouse
the newspaper headline noting that Disney's first studio failed at the start of "Come Alive"
those extremely perky Mouseketeers
Tony and Layne doing their best faux-Cockney accents for the chimney sweeps' vocals
showing footage from the actual parks
elder Walt coughing as he walks away, a somber sign of the lung cancer that took his life
returning to young Walt still dreaming of ♫ "the world I'm gonna make" ♫ that we've just seen

Trivia:
The actors playing young Walt Disney and Shirley Temple are siblings.
James is yet another of Tony's fellow alumni from the "Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue" show at Universal Studios, having played BJ himself for many years.
The subtle special effects makeup that transformed James into Walt was created by Andy Wright at Makeup and Creative Arts, and was applied by Rick Underwood.
This video was filmed on location at the MBS Equipment Company warehouse space in Orlando, using some of their lighting equipment. There is also additional footage from both Disneyland and Disney World.
PattyCake garnered some praise from several of their fellow former theme park cast members in the YouTube comments for both the accuracy of the behind-the-scenes imagery and the celebration of the Disney legacy.
As they did with their "La La Land" video, PattyCake highlighted their attention to detail with a series of "Double Take" posts on social media, comparing shots from the video with the iconic moments they had recreated.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As a bonus, the thumbnail for the video itself is a recreation of a photo of Disney that was also used as the cover art for PBS's episode of American Experience about him.

NEVER SAY NO TO PIZZA AGAIN
Growing up we had pizza at least once a week. My father was born and raised in Brooklyn and man, did he love his pizza. He would call home every Thursday and ask, “did your mother cook?” to which I would always sarcastically reply “of course not, it’s pizza night!” and then he would say “call up Dickie Dees, order a large pie with extra cheese and pepperoni, well done. Tell them ‘Jimmy’ will be there in ten minutes.” Some of my favorite memories with my dad include us either ordering pizza and watching WWE, or stopping at random hole in the wall pizza joints to see what they were about.
I’ll never forget, two weeks after getting my tonsils removed my mother got called into work for an emergency meeting and my father was responsible for feeding my siblings and I dinner that night. Guess what he ordered?
A large, extra cheese and pepperoni pie, well done from Dickie Dee’s in Newark, NJ.
The problem? I couldn’t eat solid foods yet!
Did that stop me? NOPE. My father and I sat there and cut up two slices of pizza into the tiniest, bite size pieces and I chewed them up until they were soft enough to swallow. It may have taken me thirty minutes to eat two slices of pizza, but Dad didn’t raise a quitter 💪🏽
When I decided to start losing weight as an adult, I knew I would never be successful if my meals were limited to baked chicken and broccoli or boring Cesar salads.
That’s when I learned about flexible dieting and calories in VS calories out.
For years, the media has glorified weight pills, surgeries, or overly restrictive diets for weight loss. I’m living proof that you can lose weight without giving up your favorite foods (or getting surgeries that restrict your diet for the rest of your life anyways).
I’ve been counting calories for the last two years, and I’m watching the pounds shed off week by week. I recommend everyone try this method at least once and try to do it for three months to give yourself time to see results.
The first thing you need to do is calculate how many calories you should be consuming. I recommend using this website to do that. These are going to be your maintenance calories. In order to lose weight, you need to be in a calorie deficit (meaning you need to eat less calories than you burn.) If you’re just starting out, I recommend a 3-400 deficit.
So let’s say your maintenance calories are 2400 calories per day. Subtract 400 from that, and you have the amount of calories you should be eating in a deficit, 2000 calories. I like to think about these calories as dollars (bare with me)
So let’s say you have $2000 (or 2000 calories). How you chose to spend those $2000 is completely up to you.
If you have a nice, low calorie breakfast and you want to go to McDonalds for lunch and order a Big Mac with large fries, a large coke and an apple pie go for it. Just remember that you still need to be within the 2000 calorie range in order to see results. So if you had that nice, low calorie breakfast, and then you ordered everything off the dollar menu at McDonalds for lunch, chances are you’re going to have to make some sacrifices and eat that boring old cesar salad for dinner.
It all comes down to calories in VS calories out.
With all that being said, there are plenty of ways you can make some of your favorite meals at home for half the calories without sacrificing flavors. One of the ways I’m able to eat pizza three times a week while losing weight is by making my own at home! As promised in my previous post, I’ll walk you through the recipe and leave the macros below!
Ingredients
1 Cup of self rising flour (this is super important!)
¾ Cup of Non-fat plain Greek yogurt
¼ cup of your favorite pizza sauce (homemade is best!)
56g of low fat or fat free mozzarella cheese
17g of turkey pepperoni (optional)
4g salt
4g garlic powder
Preheat your oven to 420 degrees Fahrenheit.
Start by adding ¾ cup of your yogurt to a bowl, along with the salt and garlic powder. You can feel free to add whatever seasonings you’d like here, but I feel like the salt and garlic give the dough that classic NYC pizza dough flavor. Add in ¼ cup of flour at a time and stir until combined. If you have a stand mixer, use your dough hook to make this part a little easier on yourself. If not, a wooden spoon is fine! I tend to use a little less than a full cup of flour, but I keep the remaining to the side to sprinkle on the counter while kneading/rolling out the dough.
Once your dough comes together and is still a little tacky, flour your work space and start rolling out that pizza dough to your designed shape and thickness. Place the dough on a nonstick oven safe pan (I got my 10” pizza pans at Big Lots on sale for ten cents!! Check your local discount stores’ sale sections!) and place in your preheated oven for ten to fifteen minutes. It is important to cook the dough before adding any sauce or toppings so it can cook evenly. Once the dough starts to rise a bit, remove from the oven and start adding your toppings.
I like to use homemade sauce because it just taste the best in my opinion, but you can use whatever you’d like! Keep in mind that the calories will differ depending on what brand you use.
Once you have your pizza assembled, place it back into the oven for an additional 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. I like to spray the crust with a little bit of cooking spray for that beautiful golden brown color!
Take the pizza out of the oven and allow to cool for 3-5 minutes before cutting. Slice your pizza into 6-8 slices and enjoy!
If you follow these instructions to the T, you will have an entire pizza that is only 620calories, 2.3g fat, 102g carbs and 48g protein!
Give this recipe a shot and let me know how you like it!

Not sure if you know about the interview with storyboard artist Joel Dickie, where he mentioned he pictured Edd as a woman in the future, and also not completely sure if this is up your alley, but: writing prompt "can I tell you a secret?", with Dee having a heart-to-heart with Eddy about gender identity?
I do know about it! I fully and whole-heartedly love the idea of Trans Edd! In fact, I very vividly remember when watching the show as a kid, there was a brief time when I seriously thought Edd was a girl, same with Jimmy tbh.
It was something silly too that made me think that, like an early season when Edd wore his towel over his nips like a girl would and that's what made my child brain wonder if Edd was actually a girl. Jimmy I only realized was a boy upon rewatching ed edd n eddy in my 20's. Throughout my whole childhood I was legitimately confused why they showed Jimmy shirtless in his swimsuit lmao!
I'm just a little hesitant to write for the headcanon because I don't have a lot of knowledge or experience in what it's like transitioning like that, and I'm terrified of misrepresenting people who are trans in real life, so I usually leave it to people who know better than I do.
But I'll take a crack at it for you, I'm sorry if it's poorly depicted.
#13 "Can I tell you a secret?" Edd/Eddy, trans!Edd (I use she/her for Edd, but she still has the same name because I'm not creative enough to think of one right now, sorry.)
It was incredible, really… how truly shameless Eddy was at times, Edd discovered one day as the man in question burst into her room, unannounced with yet another dirty magazine in hand.
“Hey, Double Dee! Check out my new mag!” rips through the veil of peaceful silence like a machete, startling Edd so badly that she nearly fell off her desk chair. She cast a wild glance at Eddy, who was already trudging happily through her room to plop himself down on her bed like he owned the place. Really, who could believe this guy?!
“There’s an invention called knocking, Eddy, have you heard of it?!” she quipped angrily.
Eddy ignored her words, instead he held out his new magazine with a smug grin. “Check it out! It’s a vintage edition playboy! Can you believe it?!” he exclaimed, barely able to contain his stifled chuckles of excitement.
Edd’s stomach dropped when her eyes skimmed over the risqué cover. Even before she started questioning her gender identity, such magazines always made her vaguely uncomfortable. It felt wrong to even look at them, to indulge in the objectifying of a woman’s body. How Eddy could read them so callously was beyond her. Even still, she couldn’t ignore the pang of envy she felt, to have such a beautiful form to flaunt must be nice.
Edd cleared her throat. “Really, Eddy? Another paycheck down the drain to fuel your never-ending sex-drive?”
Eddy’s brows furrowed. “No! We found this in my brother’s room when we were cleaning it out, tucked away in a hidden corner! It’s a one of a kind and now it’s all mine!” he cackled as he threw himself onto his back and opened the cover.
“You better not be thinking of doing anything indecent on my bed…” Edd said pointedly.
“Relax! I’m just lookin’!”
“Did you have a point in barging into my room? Other than to flaunt your crude magazine?”
“Don’t you want in on this Hot Babe Action?!” Eddy snickered, flapping about his magazine in a tantalizing manner. “Aren’t you a man? Where’s your sense of adventure?!”
Edd bit her lip so hard, she nearly drew blood. All at once she was hit with a wall of anxiety. She’d never told Eddy the truth, or anyone else for that matter, despite battling with her gender identity for the better half of a year now. She was afraid of the reactions of her peers, but more importantly her dearest friends, and her deepest crush.
But right now, it was becoming increasingly difficult to hide it. She drew in a shaking breath in an attempt to steady her rattled nerves. This wasn’t how she was expecting her day to go, but today would be the day she would talk about this with him.
Eddy hadn’t seemed to pick up on her anxious shift in body language as he went back to skimming the pages. Edd swallowed the lump in her throat.
“Would you like me if I looked like them?” she asked, her voice small and trembling.
Eddy peeked over the pages, his brows furrowed in confusion. “What’re you talkin’ about?”
“The girls on your magazine… would you like me if I looked like them?” she repeated.
Eddy was dreadfully quiet for entirely too long as his gaze flickered between the pages and Edd. Finally, he let out a breathy chuckle.
“You feelin’ okay, Sockhead?”
Edd’s palms clammed up. That wasn’t quite the response she’d hoped for… She was suddenly overwhelmed with the urge to backpedal her way out of this conversation but used every ounce of her willpower to stay strong.
He needed to hear this.
“Can I tell you a secret?”
Finally, Eddy seemed to pick up on the seriousness in the atmosphere as he sat up, watching Edd curiously. “Yea, of course.”
Edd’s heart was pounding so hard, she swore Eddy could see it beating through the fabric of her shirt. “I don’t identify as a man… not anymore.”
She desperately wished she could see what Eddy was thinking as he processed what she told him. For a solid minute, he merely stared blankly at her. There was no sign of disgust, at least, she thought to herself hopefully.
Realizing he’d been silent for too long, Eddy cleared his throat awkwardly. “Wait… for real?” he practically squeaked.
“Yes,” Edd affirmed. “Are you that surprised? I’ve never been the epidemy of masculinity like you.”
“N-No, I’m just--... You want to be a woman?”
“I’d appreciate it if you addressed me as such, yes,” Edd explained as calmly as she could muster.
Eddy fell silent again. She knew deep down that he was merely processing this information, but right now his silence was the loudest sound in existence. She wanted to hear his true thoughts, not stare at a blank face.
“Do you hate me for it?” She found the question escape her before she could stop it, and nearly clasped her own hands over her mouth in regret.
“Of course not!” Eddy answered almost immediately, his conviction clear in his assertive tone. By now, his new magazine had been cast aside, forgotten about momentarily in this newfound moment between them.
“You’ve been my best friend since we were kids, nothing will change that!” Eddy explained. “It’s just… a lot to take in.”
His words lifted the heavy blanket of anxiety that had draped over Edd’s shoulders. Eddy may be a crude and brutish man, but to have his acceptance meant to world to her, more than he may ever know.
“And for the record…” Eddy began awkwardly, clearing his throat. His cheeks turned a shade darker as he averted his eyes bashfully. “You might not be a playboy model, but… you are still an attractive girl… just sayin’.”
Edd couldn’t help but to smile. “Thank you, Eddy.”

I got my flu and covid shot today. So I figured I would go visit the park and few restaurants near the cvs.
Walked around Branch Brook Park for about 30 minutes.
I had an Italian style hotdog at a small cafe called Dickie Dees.
