Okay, but I can not get over the absolutely beautiful horror of Lena’s whole arc season 1.

Her one purpose is to help this abusive shadow which is permanently stuck to her back, watching her every move, to manipulate a bunch of children. She presents herself as this outcast with a bit of edge and danger implied by her demeanor. It fits her personality, but it seems antithetical to her goal. Insinuating any sort of danger would likely hurt her stated cause, and we see that it does, getting Beakley suspicious immediately. Maybe she presents herself this way purposefully. A subconscious way to tip people off. Push them away. Keep them from the monster which lives behind her. Everything good she does, everything true to herself, she must gaslight herself into believing is for the cause of the person who hurts her the most.

The slow loss of bodily autonomy is so visibly painful and frightening to her, and the point at which she's emotionally strong enough to finally reach our for help, is the same moment she's physically weak enough to be taken over completely. It's heartwrenching to watch

And then when she is released from this abusive relationship, she's not allowed to be free, but instead now trapped in another person's shadow- but it's someone she loves. Having less autonomy with her is better than having the physical body magica gave her, even if webby doesn't even know she's there, because even if she has no body, she finally has full bodily autonomy... and no one is watching her.

It's so bittersweet, I love it, it hurts so good

One of my favorite things about DT17's Drake Mallard is that his hate for Gizmoduck is somehow even pettier than the 1991 DWD.

The original Darkwing hated Gizmoduck because he stole his spotlight and decreased his popularity so he did have some sort of reason for hating him so much, while 2017 Drake hated Gizmoduck before he even became DWD nor at all interacted with Gizmoduck- he literally had no reason to hate him.

Idk, I just find it funny- picture this, pre-Darkwing Drake just watching news about how this cool dude saves everybody and Drake suddenly decides to hate him out of nowhere? Why would he hate some random guy who he just heard about?

Drake's random hate for Gizmoduck makes as little sense as him not being able to comprehend Fenton is Gizmoduck (in the S3 finale), and I love this a lot for some reason.

My thoughts and prayers with Kate Micucci (Webby’s VA). She’s been diagnosed with lung cancer. Luckily the doctors found it in early stages so she’s getting an early treatment for it. Wishing she has a healthy and successful recovery ❤️‍🩹

She’s the voice of Webby (so she’s actually Webby in some part of the multiverse heh) so let’s not worry, she has her brave and strong spirit within her 💪
