I've seen this piece of art floating around and I don't know where it comes from (if you know please tell me) but I think it's from some type of promotional piece from Disney.

But can we just talk about it... like...

It's so interesting seeing characters from the comics be done in what seems like the official Disney art style. That barely happens from what I know.

I mean we have Trudy (my queen 👑), a very creepy Detective Casey, Gladstone, Fethry (I love his hat 💕), Gladstone, and Brigitta.

Though oddly enough Pete seems to lean more into the comics style with his eyes which feels out of place.

But that's not all we also have Gyro Gearloose, Little Helper, Gus Goose, and Grandma Duck (though she was in an actual Disney short with Donald)

AND THEN... we have John D. Rockerduck (No Lusky though), Chief O'Hara, Doctor Einmug, Magica (I hope that's not the number 1 dime in her hands), and...

Those are Ducktales characters. Not from the comics??? What are they doing here? In fact is the Gyro from the comics or from Ducktales???

This is just so weird. I didn't expect to see characters from the Disney duckverse comics, mouseverse comics, and Ducktales TV show in a single piece of art that seems to be official.

Mickey, Donald and Goofy during the 1990s and in 1990s outfits

I know people tend to object to how Max Goof and Huey, Dewey and Louie were portrayed in the 1990s and dressed in the 1990s, although they weren't bad, but here's Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Minnie, Daisy, Jose, Fethry, Gus and Gladstone who also wore 1990s outfits and were portrayed as teenagers is not a problem. Isn't it? If I were to ask ironically of course.

Joking aside, I am posting these pictures as covers and Disney (whether European, American or Brazilian) is setting up these characters by posing as teenagers during the 1970s, 1990s and 2000s era, as well as wearing those clothes and outfits from the 1990s and 2000s era. Yes, you also have Dance Dance Revolution with Mickey and friends wearing 1990s outfits. Pop music, rock, metal, hip-hop and other types of music that prevailed during that era. There are cringes, but not all cringes. Still, there are some of us who grew up during the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s era, right? Or at least some of us. Certainly teenage Donald and Goofy remind me a lot of Max Goof and Huey, Dewey and Louie from A Goofy Movie and the Quack Pack.

I have yet to see Panchito, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Drake Mallard and other famous Disney characters wearing 1990s outfits, but it would be hilarious to see them too.

Happy 90th Birthday Donald Duck! - Donald Duck and his family and friends - Tribute to Don Rosa (Happy belated birthday to Don Rosa) - The Duck Who Never Was - My redraw - Duck comics - Duckverse

I know it's past Donald's birthday, but I don't care, because this year is a whole year dedicated to him, because this year the most popular duck is celebrating his 90th birthday this year. So if someone tells me why I'm dedicating his birthday to him now, even though it's passed, please shut up, this is definitely dedicated to the best duck in the world and I have the right to draw related to him. By the way, I drew tributes related to his birthday before, so check out my previous drawings.

By the way, even though his birthday passed a month ago, I definitely wanted to dedicate this drawing to one of my favorite comic artists and writers, Don Rosa, who celebrates his birthday on June 29th because he was born on that date in 1951. Don Rosa wrote and drew comics mostly related to Scrooge McDuck, but also dedicated something related to Donald Duck. A special comic is "The Duck Who Never Was" from June 9, 1994, which is dedicated to the 60th birthday of Donald Duck, where Donald thinks that everyone has forgotten about his birthday, so he miraculously went to another universe where he does not exist and it can be said that it doesn't work at all without it. In the end, Donald returns to his world and is surprised that his beloved family and friends threw him a great birthday party. It's one of my favorite Don Rosa comics.

Yes, I drew as a redraw those final scenes from that comic, so I drew it in my own way, and I apologize to Don Rosa, since I added some characters, and also did some of my own version of characters from the Duckverse. Daisy kisses her Donald, and besides them there are also Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck, Daisy's nieces April, May and June Duck (Dutch version), Donald's uncle Scrooge McDuck, Donald's grandmother Grandma Duck (Elvira Coot), Donald's cousins ​​Gladstone Gander, Gus Goose, Fethry Duck, Donald's best friends Gyro Gearloose, Little Helper, Jose Carioca (José Zé Carioca) and Panchito Pistoles. Yes, added Fethry and the two caballeros because they somehow don't make a real Donald family without them in my opinion. And instead of the 60th birthday, I added Donald Duck's 90th birthday on the banner held by Donald's nephews and Daisy's nieces. Yes, and the 30th anniversary of this comic. This is my first time drawing Gus, i like he is a cozy guy. I like to think Don would like to share moments of peace along side his cousin at the farm.

No Scrooge yelling at him, so Gladstone showing off his newest raffle win, no Fethry with a crazy project.

Who would you most like to see in the Quack Pack from Donald's family, friends and rivals (Donald Duck comics)?

As you know the Quack Pack is mainly Donald Duck, his girlfriend Daisy Duck and Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck as teenagers in that series, and there is also Donald's supposed uncle Ludwig von Drake. Unfortunately many of the famous comic book and cartoon characters from Donald's family didn't appear so I'm putting up a poll as your opinion, if by any chance a Quack Pack reboot or Quack Pack comics or Quack Pack or to see my version of Quack Pack who would you the following characters from comics and cartoons would you like to see there?

Otherwise, if you ask further, I will immediately say that after that there will be maybe two or three more polls related to that, but this is just for fun. The two or three characters who win the most go further and that means you want those characters the most. By the way, for Daisy's nieces in the Quack Pack I would expect them to be teenagers but based on how they look like in the Dutch comics. As for Minima de Spell who would also be a teenager. Scrooge would definitely wear a Scottish kilt in the Quack Pack. Certainly in my opinion they all deserve it in my version of the Quack Pack, but again your opinion and choice stands.

Duck Comic Reading Club Week 14: Quacklight: Bewitching Vampires in Duckburg

Ok, this was hilarious. All the story was ridiculous and silly in all the right ways. This is also my first experience with the Twilight franchise.

We start the comic with our protagonists leaving the movie theater. They saw the last of Scrooge's productions.

They even paid for Scrooge's ticket. Cheap bastard.

Also, hey is Brigitta. First time reading something with her on it.

The girls were captivated by the movie and dreamed to have their own vampire love story. And they do what everybody does when joining a fandom, create their own content. From now on, everything comes from Daisy's fantasies.

In the story inside story we meet Duckella Splash who has just arrived at Duckburg.

The most unpleasant city, five years in a row.

Have to tell you, that made me laugh hard.

Duckella is moving in with is poor uncle Scrooge who has no idea how is going to take care of his niece.

Poor, poor uncle Scrooge.

Duckella enrolls in the local high school and she has problems fitting in. But then, she saw them.

The weirdos. What the hell is wrong with Dickieye? What's she seeing with those dead eyes? And what's wrong with Fethryle? Why is he using a trench coat for high school? Donward has an awful haircut. Gusmet looks ok tho.

Duckella wants nothing more than meet the mysterious youngster. After some funny segments, she finally gets her wish. Donald tells Duckella his secrets, he's a vampire. Oh my God.

But, as always, love win.

Duckella goes to Donward's house and meet the rest of the family, and we have the best joke in the comic.

The lovely evening was ruined when the villains appeared. Magica and Gladstone as the bad guys make so much sense.

The Duck-pire family blamed Duckella for guide the villain duo into their home and threw her out. Duckella ran through the night, to her uncle's Bin. But the horror strikes again, Magica and Gladstone wants the miserly's riches.

Everything seems lost, but, by mere coincidence (Daisy dixit), Donward and his family show up to have the final fight against Magica and the other guy.

The violence of this fight is almost unbearable. Between this one and PK vs Trauma, this week has been non-stop full of action.

The good guys win, of course, and Daisy and Brigitta ask for Donald and Scrooge's opinion.

Fair.

But who's not laughing is an agent who thinks the story is a massive hit and gave the girls one million dollars in advance for it. This guys just casually walks around with a millon dollars in a bag.

Maybe he works for Glomgold.

Daisy and Brigitta them tell the ending, and we learn that Duckella is imnune to vampire bites and she and Donward live happily ever after. I guess.

This one was so much fun, totally recommended.

I may not be Gagnor biggest fan, but having Fethry as a greek philosopher and Gus as his ravenous pupil was a great idea.

"I miti di Paperogate di Creta" have been recently collected here, alongside the Duck Mithology Disney Global series.

Fifth and last volume to be published in a couple of months.
