Hi Simmers !

Today is the big day ! The REVEAAAAL of my secret project. Because yes I've been working days on this 15 objects kit !

A little lore about the Desk Mess CC Kit : Maybe you know it, maybe you don't I AM FRENCH. And I play The Sims since... I am 11 or 12 yo. When I discovered the great world of custom contents, I was awestruck. So, I started downloading a loooooot of them. Never thinking one day I would make my own. Then in Covid 2020 I tried Blender. And a new world opened to me. It was hard. But I am very stubborn. I failed a lot. But I kept trying. So the first time I successfully added MY OWN CC into MY GAME and it worked I thought, OK THIS IS IT. I WANT TO LEARN MORE. You are going to ask yourself, why is she telling this. Why being French has something to do with this CC Kit, and I'll tell you why. As a Sims 4 addict, I watch a lot of content about Sims 4. And I have a favorite French Youtuber I follow since 2019 @kapands ! I loved her content so much, I followed her on Twitch. And I loved even more the community there. I was so happy to add my contribution to the 2024 secret Advent Calendar the community is gifting her. Following her all these years, I knew custom content was taking a great place in her way of playing The Sims 4. So I challenged myself (really afraid to fail) to create a CC Kit centred around one of her character : Bella. (2nd gen of the Into The Forest Challenge).

Can we just talk about how Mobius, is flipping through files with this look of sheer exasperation, just casually letting Loki nap because honestly, what else can you do when you’re dealing with a literal god who has absolutely no concept of normal office behavior?

Mobius, for all his sarcasm, also seems to understand that Loki isn’t just a perpetual chaos machine. He’s a person who occasionally needs rest, and he respects that in his own way. He’s giving Loki a little space, letting him have his godly nap without even commenting on it. He doesn’t need to.

and Loki, god of mischief… reduced to napping on a desk. Like, Mobius must’ve looked at him and just thought, Aww, my little god-boyfriend is tired. You can almost hear Loki thinking, I’ve fought entire armies, but this bureaucracy? This is my downfall.

Like here’s this immortal being who could probably bring down entire civilizations with a snap of his fingers, but at this exact moment? He’s utterly defeated by the weight of paperwork and office politics, completely undone by the mundane office grind.

Theres some strange comfort in watching a god deal with the same frustrations we all do: deadlines, the never-ending bureaucracy, and the fact that sometimes you just need to close your eyes for five minutes.

@ USAmericans that are following me, if you (like me) get anxious you'll somehow have issues with a mail-in or drop-off ballot: I forgot that in a lot of places (here's a site to check!) early in-person voting is an option, so I figured maybe you did too!

Lines are MUCH shorter than election day,

which means it's quick and you have more time to look things up at the voting booth if necessary,

and you have a LOT more ability to find a time that works for you than if you just vote on Nov. 5th (which I would be have been almost completely unable to go out and vote on).

Early voting y'all it kicks ass. A quick google of "early voting (my city/county" immediately brought up the exact address, days and hours of where it was available. Will definitely patronize the fine folks at my local polling center again in four years assuming that. Things go well. And we still have a democracy in four years. OTL

With a cherry on top?

"Barb! Please?" You trailed after him, a small container of hair styling tools in hand. He didn't answer, glancing back at you, an amused look on his face. "It's be so cute and fun I promise!" You shook the little box with vigor.

"I've got duties to attend to, Mc. I'm afraid I don't have time." Barbatos look as if he was holding in a laugh.

“If you let me do your hair, I’ll help out for the rest of the day?” You offered. You knew he didn’t need your help, but you really wanted to mess with his hair, and you’d get to spent more time with him.

“Are you sure? I still have a long list of duties to attend to today, and I expect you to put your all into them as well.” He glanced back at you, but didn’t stop walking.

“I promise! Besides, if we work together, it’ll get done faster and we can spend time together.” You gave him the best puppy dog eyes you could muster. He cracked a small smile.

“Very well. You may do as you see fit.” Barbatos led you over to a nearby seating area and sat down.

“Yay! I promise I won’t be long!” You happily knelt beside him on the sofa and began your work.

By the time you were done with him, he looked almost like an uncle who let his niece do whatever she pleased with his hair. You’d pulled up his hair into two little pigtails, each with a different colored hair tie. They were a little lopsided, both because of you and because of his uneven hair length. You had adorned his bangs with multiple, brightly colored barrettes and hair pins. To complete the look, you’d added a small, glittery hair extension that was probably meant to be braided in to both pigtails.

The little D’s that has gathered around you complimented you on your work, all begging you to do them next. “Now, don’t you all have work to be doing as well? We can revisit this later, hmm?” With Barb’s words, they all scattered at being called out, leaving just the two of you.

“We have no time to waste, Mc. Our first task is to grout the tiles in young Master’s bathroom.” The same smile from before still adorned his face, just a little more smug looking.

“Let’s take a picture together first! I want to savor this forever. You look adorable!” You raised your D.D.D. After making sure he was looking at the camera, you snapped a quick photo. He was never going to be able to live this down, but, he’d do anything if it was for you.
